Link between plan position and master cost center

hi guys,
i have the plan position number and i don't know how to determine the master cost center.
do you now the infotype/table that has the link between the two?
regards,
emilia

hi,
thanks for the function.
i know that when a position plan is created it is assign to an org. unit and thus it will inherit its master cost center.
the problem is that more often than not the master cost center of the position plan is changed manually and so it will not match the one of the org unit.
this is indeed an intricate issue

  • Link between Planned Order and Purchase Requisition

    Hi All,
Is it possible to track a MRP planned order from the Purchase Requisition to which it was converted (using MD04 or MD14)?
And is it possible to track a purchase requisition based on a planned order?
Is there a clear connection - in DB tables - between MRP planned orders and different Purchasing documents - RFQ, PR, PO?
    Thanks in advance,
    Eytan.

    Hi Eytan,
see some corrections for your understanding
So, although it is not possible to track that connection, once you delete the PR that was previously created for the Planned Order, that same planned order becomes available again, and again you can convert it into a PR.
not possible to come again same planned order once you deleted purchase requisition, system will create new planned order during after next MRP run for this requirement
pls reward points and close this thread.

  • Variance key for calculating variance between planned price and actual cost

    Hello CO Experts,
I am not following standard cost estimate. I am using price control V for FG. Now I did all the process:
    1. Process Order creation
    2. Process Order confirmation
    3. Template Execution
    4. Process Order revaluation
    5. Process Order - TECO.
Now when I am running KKS2 (Variance), system is giving following error:
Only remaining var. in version 0 - no target costs for 000001000047
It means system is searching target cost in process order. However, since I didn't executed standard cost, system will populate target cost. Hence my requirement is that the system should calculate variance with respect to planned cost.
Also I have assigned variance key to target version  1. In that assignment, I have selected "planned / preliminary cost"  in target cost section.
When I am running KKS2 (variance analysis), system is calculating for both versions. Because of this, it is giving error. There is no input parameter, where I can give specific version.
    Please help

    Hi Deepak,
For Finished Goods materials  if you assigned Price control  V (Moving Average) it is irrelevant  to run the Standard Cost Estimation.
My earlier client we don't have variance because of the Moving Average Price for Finished Goods.
Please check, It is really required Variance??  If it is required check whether variance key is automatically assigned to Process order or not. (Control Tab)

  • Deviate from Master cost center

    Dear All,
Can any one plz solve this issue. A position had been assigned to cost center and master cost center. How do we deviate that position from the master cost center?
2). What features do you come across in payrolls employee attributes and CAP PCR. establish the relationship among them?
    3). What is symbolic account?
Thanks in advance, points will be given.

    Hai..
u can change the master cost center for a position in 1015 IT....
    CAP & PCR:
Groupings for the personnel calculation rules and collective agreement provisions for all employee groups and subgroups are defined ...
The employee subgroup grouping for the personnel calculation rule is required in Payroll Accounting. The collective agreement provisions grouping is required for indirect valuation of wage types in the Basic Pay infotype (0008).
    Standard settings
Employee subgroup grouping for the personnel calculation rule:
    1 = hourly wage
    2 = periodic payment (eg.monthly wage)
    3 = salary/pension
4 = pay (German civil service)
5 = social insurance (German civil service)
Employee subgroup grouping for the collective agreement provisions:
    1 = industrial workers/hourly wage
    2 = industrial workers/monthly wage
    3 = salaried employee
    4 = AT
Symbolic Account: Payroll object used when posting results to accounting. The number of symbolic accounts and the respective characteristics represent the different expenses and payables that occur as personnel costs within payroll and must be posted to accounting. The sysmbolic accounts are assigned to financial accounts. This ensures that account determination takes place during posting to accounting.

  • Link between process order and sales order for planning strategy 52

    Hello,
I investigate the possibility of a link between "sales order" and "planned order / process order" for the usage of planning strategy 52 (planning w/o final assembly, make to stock).
I know, this is not conform to the basics of planning strategies (EITHER make to order OR make to stock) and I suspect it would be a modification. Of course we have the alternative "make to order" - strategy 50, but we do not want to use individual customer stocks.
Is anybody there with similar customer requirements or project experiences?
    Thanks in advance,
    Joerg

    Hi Jorg,
To my understanding if you need hard pegging then in SAP only Individual requirement is possible.
Or else you need to create a custom transactions/table to identify Sale order and when ever a process order is created by selecting the sale order record, the process order detials should also get updated against that.
You need to take the help of ABAP expert for this,

  • Link between Business area and Material master

    Hi guys
Is there a link between Busines area and material master, i am getting an error when I am trying to Move part of material stock from unrestricted stock to Project stock by 411/Q.
    Error
Business area xx changed to yy
    Ideas?
    sam

    Hi
Yes Business area has a link with MMR
Business area determination is through by three rules
    1. Plant and item division
    2. Sales area( sales orgdistribution channeldivision )
    3. Sales org, distribution channel and item division
Here item division means the division in MMR that is basic data 1 tab and sales org 1 tab
This division field forms the main link between Business area and MMR

  • Link between Sales order and Credit master sheet

    Hi,
Plz explain the link between sales order and credit master sheet.
    Thanks and regards
    CSR

    Hi,
Credit master is related to Customer.
Credit limit will be assigned to a customer by using the T.Code FD32.
Credit control area will be assigned to a customer.
You can the credit control area for a customer in the table "KNVV".
Goto the T.Code "FD32".Enter your customer number and credit control area.Select the status tab.
Here you can maintain the credit limit. If you leave blank means the limit is 0.00.
Next thing is goto the T.Code "OVAK".
Select your sales order.Maintain the "Credit limit check" for your order type.
Goto the T.Code "OVA8".Select your valid combination. Here, you can activate either the static or dynamic credit limit checks.
If you create the sales order by using the customer, initially the system will check for the credit limit. If it is 0.00 and credit check functionality is activatd in the above specified T.Codes, then creditcheck will happen and order will be blocked for releasing of credit by using the T.Code "VKM3".Authorised persons have to release this credit block.Suppose, you have maintained this credit limit as "1000Rs/-" and you are creating the order of value "550Rs/-",then your order will not be blocked even though the credit check functionality is activated for your order type.
In this way, sales order is in turn related to credit master.
    Regards,
    Krishna.

  • How to design and develop Cost center with SAP BPC 5.1 ?

    Hi all,
Can any one tell me how to design and develop cost center planning (what are the steps to follow) using SAP BPC 5.1?
    Thanks,
    Sandy

    Hi Sandeep,
1:We need to look at whether cost center planning is tied to a profit center level and/or to a company code level
2:We could have dimensions like Account(which in this case would reflect cost element),category, entity, time with additional dimension s like profit center(cost centers can have a direct mapping to profit center, usage of properties would help in here),WBS ,projects, investment position id's etc.
3:We could look at different applications like HR(pay roll related expenses),admin, capex(to bring in depreciation values) etc to bring in data to pull in data to different cost centers either directly or via script logic(usage of destination_app)
4:For those values not tied up to profit centers ,we would look at allocating/distributing the expenses to different cost elements
5:We need to decide whether we do the planning on a monthly/periodic vs yearly level where in we would look at actual values and incrementing at a certain % to fill in as the base for our planning(using category=actual/plan plus timeperiods). We could look at Top down vs botton up approach as well to segregate the planned costs
6:Consideration should be made at security level to identify/restrict different users who needs to access specific cost centers
Yes,this is just a small jist of structure, there are 100's of other considerations which would come into picture from a business requirement level.

  • DB link between Oracle 9i and MS SQL server2000

    Hi,
Is it possible to create a DB link between Oracle 9i and MS SQL server 2000.
If it is possible what are the different ways of creating it.
Is it possible without purchasing any propietery drivers.
    Thanks,
    Rohit

I've never seen any documents stating that the enterprise edition is a requirement for the heterogeneous connectivity ....
There are 2 ways to set up the connection with MS SQL - using generic connectivity driver (OLE DB or ODBC) or using the Oracle Transparent Gateway.
The generic connectivity is free and comes with Oracle DB - it has several limitations - for example you can't call MS SQL stored procedures from Oracle.
The Oracle Transparent Gateways are packaged , the MS SQL gateway is part of the Open System Gateways package ($15,000.00 per CPU license cost) and i has less restrictions.

  • Acc.assignment object replaced by current master cost center for employee

    Hi,
I am facing a peculiar warning message while running the payroll posting run for only 2 employees.  The warning message s as follows:
"Acc.assignment object replaced by current master cost center for employee
    Message no. 3G399"
Prior to this, there were an error saying the
"Account assignment objects are incorrect. No substitution is possible.
    Message no. 3G209"
Later we found that the Position was not assigned to that employee properly.  I later assigned the correct position.. but still during the posting run the warning message appears.
Please let me know if this is okay or is this an error which restricts the postings.
    Regards,
    Balaji TR

Your postings will go through with the first warning message. However, please be warned that any account assignment related entries (IT 0027, 2001, 2002) will be wholly ignored.
Check if any entries have been made to different cost centers for the erroring employees. If so, check for the reason why those entries have been made (since it is evident that the configuration does not support such entries). You may need to tie in with a CO consultant to ensure that there are no loose ends.

  • Replication between 130 nodes and 1 Data Center

    Hi everyone.
I have 130 database nodes (Oracle Standard Edition One) with a big distance of separation, and 1 Data Center with 3 nodes (Oracle Real Application Cluster 10g R2). The connection between nodes and datacenter is through various ISP ( WAN).
I have exactly the same model design of database in nodes and datacenter.
DataCenter is a repository of data for reporting to directors and dictate the business rules to guide all nodes.
Each node have approximately 15 machines connected with desktop application.
In other words Desktop Application with a Backend Database (node).
My idea of replication is not instantly, when a transaction commit in a node then replicate to datacenter. Also over nigth replicate images because is heavy, approximately 1 mg per image. Each image correspond to one transaction.
On the orher hand i have to replicate some data from datacenter to nodes, business rule, for example: new company names, new persons, new prohibitions, etc.
My problem is to determine th best way to replicate data through nodes to datacenter.
Please somebody could suggest me the best solution.
    Thanks in advanced.

Last I checked, Streams and multi-master replication require enterprise edition databases at both ends, which rules them out for the sort of deployment you're envisioning.
If a given table will only ever be modified on nodes or on the master site, never both, you can build everything as read-only materialized views. This would probably require, though, that the server at the data center have 130 copies of each table, 1 per node. For schemas of any size, this obviously gets complicated very quickly. For asynchronous replcation to work, you'd need to schedule periodic refreshes, which assumes that you have relatively stable internet connections between the nodes and the data center.
I guess I would tend to question the utility of having so many nodes. Is it really necessary to have so many? Or could you just beef up the master and have everyone connect directly?
