Loading IOS6 app onto an IOS7 device

I am running Xcode 4.6.2 on OSX 10.7.5. I have written an app for IOS6.1 and want to download it for testing onto a 5s iPhone running ios 7.0.6.
I can't upgrade to OSX 10.8 in order to run Xcode 5 due to the limitations of my imac.
When I try to connect my device from the the Organizer - Device page within xcode I get the following message:-
dyld_shared_cache_extract_dylibs failed
(I have a valid certificate)
I have tried various ideas from other posts about this in particular copying certain directories from a down loaded version of xcode 5 to my copy of xcode
Contents->Developer->Platforms->iPhoneOS.platform->Developer->SDKs->iPhoneOS7.sd k
Contents->Developer->Platforms->iPhoneOS.platform->DeviceSupport->7.0
Contents->Developer->Platforms->iPhoneOS.platform->Developer->SDKs->7.0.3(11B508 )
but still get the same problem.
One thing that perplexes me is that I can see no file com.apple.dyld on my system. Is this the problem? Where is my shared dyld cache? By all accounts it should be here
/System/Library/Caches/com.apple.dyld
But it isn't.
I have tried rebuilding the cache with "sudo update_dyld_shared_cache -force" from the terminal but still cannot see anything, although this command certainly seemed to do something.
Surely what I am trying to do is possible, there must be lots of ios6.1 apps out there that still work on ios7 iphones?
Or is there no option but to invest in another MAC and use xcode5?

You need to update your Mac.
Developers need to keep their hardware and software current; Apple can change the minimum requirements anytime.

You May Need to delete your apple ID of your ipad , and put it on again. Or otherwhise your entering your ID in wrong ! ( If you know your secuirty questions You can Reset your Password).

Apple wants you to set your security questions. Select a question from the list and then give an answer. Do not forget the answer(s). You only need to set two, that's why it kicks you out and to the Terms and Conditions page before you get to the third. If you cannot Accept the Terms and Conditions on the device go here > Apple - My Apple ID Manage your Apple ID and set the security questions there. I suggest that you set up a recovery email while you're there. After go back to the device and try again. You may need to answer the security questions to proceed with downloads.

Why push notifications work in my iOS6 app but not in iOS7?

I'm having problems with push notifications in iOS7.
I have developed an application for iOS6 and push notifications works very well. But, when I put that app in a iOS7 device, it doesn't run.
But something very strange happen. If I use Development key, my iOS7 device can receive push, but with Production key, It can't.
I can get my devide token for push but it is not able to receive anything.
Any idea?

Yes, Jeff, you are insane. But that has nothing to do with LabVIEW.
I fully agree that you should be using shift registers for the fields that need passed through as well as the error cluster. But I don't see anything here that would cause issues.

Can't get old apps onto new device?

I have a 4th gen iPod touch. I just got a brand new 5th gen. I want to get all of my old apps onto my new device but I can't figure out how. My old device was backed up on iTunes but it wont connect to the new one. If I can get all my old apps on my new device, can someone please tell me step by step how?

Using apple configurator can i install paid and free apps onto a supervised ipad?

I have read somewhere that you can only put free apps onto an unsupervised device and only paid apps can be put on a supervised device. Does this mean that an ipad cannot have both free and paid apps on it at once?

You can have both free and paid apps on Supervised iPads. Not sure where you read that you couldn't... We have both paid and free apps on all of our 1,000+ iPads in our school district.

Sorry... But... You cannot use other countries itunes stores.
You must be within the Country with a Valid Billing Address and Credit Card for that Country to use the iTunes Store of that Country..

How do you continue a game app on a restored device that refuses to load the old game?

I have recently today restored my device since I have frogotten the orignal password to my iPod at that time. I reinstalled all of my apps, and most of them seems to load the old game I had on my device (thanks to my GameCenter account). But, there are 4 games that refuse to load the old game. Flutter: Butterfly Sanctuary, Mini Pets, My Talking Tom, and Naughty Kitties. The only game that mentions my game saved on my GameCenter account is Flutter, saying "Sorry, your Flutter account is already associated with a differnet GameCenter account." Flutter still plays from the start.
What I am trying to say is that there are games I redownloaded that will not connect to my GameCenter account after restoring my iPod. Is there any way to load my previous games back onto my restored device? The only app I really want to keep is Flutter, because I had made a lot of progress on it.
I'd recommend a person who's experienced with the apps I have listed to answer my question, but if anyone else knows a thing or two, go for it.

Just what do you mean by "refuse to load the old game."?
He means the progress of the game. Like where he was, what level he was on, his lives, etc.
As for the OP, restore from an old backup and use lllaass' directions. Then restore as new.

Syncing iPad-loaded Apps Onto iTunes; Loading Them to iPhone

Problem: I'd like to move apps purchased on the iPad to iTunes, so that I can then load those (iPhone) apps onto the iPhone.
Syncing the iPad to the iTunes computer doesn't seem to do it.
ETA: iTunes is on a PC.
Ideas?
ETA Answer: In iTunes, right clicking on the iPad device, select "Transfer Purchases." That did the trick.

If you have Sync Apps selected under the Apps tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes, after downloading an app with your iPad, the app should be copied to your iTunes library the first time you sync your iPad with iTunes after doing so.
If you don't have Sync Apps selected under the Apps tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes, with your iPad selected and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPad. After this, select Sync Apps under the Apps tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes.
After transferring the apps to your iTunes library, the apps will be available under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes to transfer selected apps to your iPhone. Select the apps you want installed on your iPhone followed by a sync.

If they are using the same apple ID, then you don't need to worry. You can install apps on as many devices you want.

It may have used the YouTube app that is no longer included in iOS. Try downloading the YouTube app in the App Store and see if it works.
