Local class invisible after transport to test system

Hello,
i face the following strange problem:
I have a local class within another class, and in the development system, i can access this local class via its entry in the object tree in object navigator. My class has a subnode "Local Classes" there, which also has a subnode for my specific local class.
I transported the coding to the test system and it works well there too, but for some reason i cannot see my local class in the se80. The class is apparently transported, the programm works, and if i execute my programm in debugging mode, i can even go through the code lines of the local class, but i can't find it in the se80.
Does anyone know why this happens?

Probelms while replicating Data Source and transport into test system

I find the following error messages whilre transporting into test system.
DataSource 0EC_PCA_1 does not exist in source system of version A.
Mapping between data source 0EC_PCA_1 and source system is inconsistent.
DataSource 0EC_PCA_1 does not exist in source system of version A.
Field AFABE will not be delivered from DataSource 0EC_PCA_1 in source system.

Enhanced the Extract structure and activated the data source in Source system
Replicate the Data source in BI and install the Infosource through BI Content activated and transport them to Test system.

Hi,
1.First transport the data source from R/3 dev to R/3 quality
2.Replicate the data source in BI Quality ( make sure you that in the data source tab, you are searching the data source below the appropriate source system ---otherwise you data source may not appear)
3.goto rsd1in BI development for activataing the info objects which you have added extra in the info source (z info objects )
activate these info objects and collect in another request
4.transport these info objects from BI dev to BI quality
5.transport entire data source to bw quality.

Exit Fm is not to CMOD project but transported to test system

Hi.
I have a enhancement MWMIDO08 with contains function module EXIT_SAPLLMDE_002 and which incldes program ZXLIDU10.
I made my necessary changes in the include program and transported to test system, without creating any CMOD project.
But my changes are working fine in test test.
Can you please suggest me, what to do now? if i want create a CMOD project now and add the function exit into it. and resend the new request to test system.
Does it create any problem.

This sort of thing can happen if someone has assigned a CMOD project to the enhancement containing the user exit before.
First check in SE16, table MODACT with MODACT-MEMBER = 'MWMIDO08', then MODACT-NAME will give you the existing project that is already assigned to enhancement MWMIDO08
If there is no entry in MODACT then you can safely create another project and assign the enhancement to it, activate and transport.
If already there is an entry in MODACT, you need to check if the same entry exists in your QA and Prod systems, to verify if someone already transported it. If it is not transported you need to deactivate / activate the project and transport that project again.
No this should not cause any problem and I can tell from experience having done same thing before.

Condition doesn't work after transport to QAS system.

the condition doesn't work after the workflow transported to QAS system. the workflow designed has a constraint that only the creation of the document of Type M4 can trigger the workflow, but creation of Type M5 document can also trigger the workflow, could you please tell me the possible reason?

Once Try checking as pavan suggested whether the Customizing requested is transported.
To Maintain Workflow start conditions you can also maintain through SWB_COND and ensure its transported.

Process Chain Triggered automatically when transported to test system

Hi All,
We modified several process chain and transported the process chain to Test system.
Few Process chain triggered automatically as the varient was set to immediate in development system.
Now we want to move the process chain to production. Do we need
1. new transport request with the variant to future date and discard the transport request which created issues
2. New transport request with the variant to future date and transport the new along with the old transport to production system
3. Change the start date in Test system and transport the same request to production
Kindly advice me on the action to be taken.

Regarding 2: When the old transport is imported into production the start will be set to immediately and the process chain will execute. You should not use this option.
Regarding 3: Changing in Test system will not affect the content of the transport, it will still be the same as released from Dev.
We have avoided this annoying problem with process chains being executed when transports are imported by creating a "parent" process chain that simply triggers the process chain in question. This "parent" chain should not be transported. You then set the start option for the original process chain to "start by API/Event" then you can transport the original process chain whenever you want without any risk of the process chain being executed.

CHARM: Double logon popup in transport to test system

In Charm, when transporting OTs to test system, we have two logon popup screens where we have to insert our user and password. Why do we have to repeat logon? Is there possible to register user and password only once?

IMPORTING a transport to TEST system??

Hi Experts,
I imported successfully a trsnsport, say 123456 into TEST system.
Bcoz of some reason, I want to again IMPORT the same transport 123456 into same TEST system.
So,
1 - Is it possible? I mean, Is system allows to do so?
2 - If so, Is prog. wuld be over written? I know there r NO chnages!!
3 - Is it any danger, to do so?
I know; i can create a new TR in DEV and import it, but, I dont want to do!!

No - you have to create a new transport (or refresh the test system from a system that does not yet have the transport).

Workflow issue after transport to QA system

Greetings,
After transport to QA my workflow does not execute the job I've assigned to my step.
I have a program assigned as a background job in a step that gets triggered by a typical workflow event.
I believe this is the first workflow for their system... and it's definately my first as well.
I can see the workflow executing using the trace.... but my job never runs.
I'm beginning to suspect I need to refresh the workflow buffer... but perhaps it's an authorization issue

First refresh the memory of the workflow to take the new changes ok, transaction SWU_OBUF.
Just to be sure, check the transaction SWU3 and check if everything is OK.
The posible authorization problem is for the User WF-BATCH, so check the authorizations for this user.

Service Group is blank after transporting into IST system

Hi All,
We have 2 CE 7.2 systems as DEV and IST which are well connected to NWDI. In DEV NWDI track, we have many WDJava components which consume web services available on DEV system. For these services, we have created a Service Group which has all these services inside it. IN DEV, I have assigned the local system to all these services inside the service group and it works fine.
Then we released all our components to IST system and this service group also got deployed in IST. I configued the service group also in IST to point it to proper system. Then some how after releaseing some new activites, all the references in IST service group are valished but the consumer proxies in IST for these services show they are part of service group.
We released new activity for service group also from Dev to IST but still the service group in IST is blank.
Can anyone explain why this could have happened and any solution for this?

Please make sure that all the report elements are collected while transporting, because some elements might have got missed or not collected in the transport request. You can collect the same report again in a new transport and check it.

After Refresh of Test System XI connection is not working

We are using SRM 4.0 in ECS and recently did a refresh to our Quality system. After the refresh we went through the normal post refresh activities and assumed that everything was ok. We started creating test shopping carts and PO for XML vendors and nothing is going out through XI. I have ran tcode sxmb_moni to check to see if any error message are occuring but there are no messages in the system.
We have restarted the server but can't seem to get anything to go out through XML.
Can anyone provide any information or some things to check?

First check the setting in 'Define backend systems' if the SLD system name is correctly entered for your EBP system. Then using txn SLDCHECK, you can check connectivity to XI.
You can also check txn SXMB_ADM to see if the integration server connection is correctly defined.

BADI not found in QA System after transporting from DEV system

Hi,
I had created a new implementation ZHR_IN_CALC_PTX_AMT to the BADI: HR_IN_CALC_PTX_AMT in the DEV system with Request ID. But when i had transported that request, i am not able to find that BADI implementation in SE18 and SE19 respectively in Quality system.
Please suggest me on this, as this is urgent.

Can you pls repeat the BADI Definition name? I couldn't find HR_IN_CALC_PTX_AMT in SAP versions 4.7, 5.0 and 6.0. Which is the version you use for development?

Problem after transport to Quality system

Hi,
I've done the transport of my SWCV from DEV to QLD and everything works fine. I've check all the components in the IR and ID and make the necessary adjustments. But when i try to realize a test from RW with my interface all that i can get is a red box with an exclamation point inside and above this a red cross line and no message appears in XI monitor. Also i've look at Message monitoring and no message avaiable either for Integration Engine or Adapter Engine. Although when i test my interface in IR using the option Tools/Test configuration I get the following error:

Internal Error
HTTP connection to ABAP Runtime failed. Error: 403 Forbidden URL: http://ed18tci1f.appl.edinfor.pt:8078/sap/xi/simulation?sap-client= User: XIDIRUSER
Can anyone provide me some help???

Automatic transport from test system to QAS

Hello,
It has been discused here already, but I have to place this question again. Is it possible to schedule a background job every 10 min for the import to QAS to speed up the process instead of doing this every time in the schedule manager?
Nevertheless there is only an option to schedule daily, but I want it every 10 min!

Hi,
Did you succeed scheduling the backround job for importing your requests from project. I guess, it would not be possible, the reason is, the variant for this job is generated by schedule manager. Moreover, SAP doesn't recommend scheduling a backround job for this import. The reason is to take utmost care of what you import into your production system.

Wrong conversion of source system after transport

Hello,
We ve got a a transport problem in our 3-3 Landscape. Connections for extraction are only between same systems ( f.e. dev to dev)
BI Dev BI Test BI Prod
R3 Dev R3 Test R3 Prod
The conversion of source systems is on the BI test:
BI Dev becomes BI Test
R3 Dev becomes R3 Test
The conversion of source systems is on the BI Prod:
BI Test becomes BI Prod
R3 Test becomes R3 Prod.
With this it tells me the after transport (BI Test to BI Prod) of objects with source system assignement that the R3 Dev System is not known.
The transport before from the BI Dev to BI Test worked well without any problems.
We`ve got the BI Test and the BI DEV on the same host.
Has anybody got an idea what is wrong?
