Localization failed, invalid address

Hi,
I try to use a web service (generated from a RFC) in a application service (developed in NWDS 7.0 SP12). Each service itself does work but when I try to consume the imported web service within my application service I get in the wsnavigator the following error:
Localization failed: ResourceBundle='com.sap.caf.rt.resources.CAFExceptionResources', ID='Invalid address', Arguments: []
Do anyone know what's the problem?

Vtext - "Delivery to this destination failed due to invalid address"

I'm trying to send a text message to a Verizon phone from a PC, using Verizon's Vtext.com service, which I've used successfully in the past, although it's been several years.
When I tried using it today, I kept getting the message, "Delivery to this destination failed due to invalid address." However, the address I was using was indeed a valid Verizon cell phone number, all 10 digits, exactly as specified. I tried this several times, and with several different Verizon cell phone numbers.
Has anyone else had this problem and/or found any solutions?

You can use the vtext.com service, which *should* work - but in your case sounds like it is NOT working. I just used it and sent a test message to myself, which came through. It did come in from an "unverified sender", since I didn't log in, I just went to vtext.com and did a quick send as a test.
Another option to try is to use your email program, and send the text to [email protected] (just the #, no dashes) - in that case it would show as a text form your email address though, not from whatever you specify in the vtext program.

Programmatically generated emails sometime failed with error "Message included an invalid address".

I am facing a strange problem. I would appreciate if someone can help me.
Our application sends emails periodically (every 30 minutes). Initially emails send out correct but then the emails stop with error message "Message included an invalid address" after some time.
FYI, the devices are using MDS/BES connection. Contect protection is enable. etc.
Below is the code used to send emails:
Message message = new Message();
Address toAdd = new Address(emailTo, emailTo);
Address toAdds[] = new Address[1];
toAdds[0] = toAdd;
message.addRecipients(Message.RecipientType.TO, toAdds);
message.setSubject(subject);

I enabled the contect protection on my test device and then after few emails the emails show red cross when device was locked with the same error.
So I believe the email does not go out when the content protection is enable and deice is locked.
Any idea to fix our email process?

an internal application server relays mail mail via our 3 HTS. In Application logs of the app server I notice this app servers fails to connec to mail servers. I look at the 3 HT servers logs and on 2 of the HT server Smtp
receive Logs I notice this....

PS: It could also be possible that the application server does not have the complete recipient information or not have nothing at all????? i will look into dat aswell.

If message flow is well for other users, we could make sure we have configured receive connector for application server, then we could make sure email address of application server was configured with correct format. If the application server has cache,
we could delete cache to check if the issue persist.
If the issue persist, we could contact third application server.

Attempt to access invalid address message

After uninstalling Reader 11 and reinstalling to trouble shoot I still get the same error when I try to open a file "Attemp to access invalid address failed" Not super tech literate, please speak slowly - LOL!

Uninstall again, then run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html before a reinstall (after a reboot). If you are on a MAC, I have no clue. Future questions on Reader should be posted in the Reader forum, this is the Acrobat forum.

Elements 5.02 - Attempt to access invalid address

When I try to launch Photoshop 5.02 the welcome screen is displayed and I can open the Organizer, but when I attempt to open the Quick Fix or the other editor programs I get a dialogue box "Attempt to access invalid address"
This problem is on my profile only as Photoshop works when another user is logged in to the PC ( OS: Vista Home 32bit) and was working ok until a few week ago.
I have tried the following with no success:
Reinstalled the s/w.
Deleing the Photoshop folder from the AppData in my profile folder.
Deleting the Photoshop registry entries from Current User.
Searched the web for a solution
I know that I could delete my profile and create a new one, but I would only do this if all else failed as I would loose other settings just when I have all setup the way I want it.
Could anyone give me any pointers to where I might look to resolve this please.

Make sure your user account has full administrative permissions. Then, at this stage of the game, I would take the following steps:
- Re-create the Preferences file following these instructions:
Re-create the Photoshop Elements preferences file to eliminate problems that a damaged preferences file might cause.
Note: When you use this solution, Photoshop Elements will create a new preferences file and you will lose custom settings associated with your current preferences file. However, the file you rename in step 2 is your original preferences file. If you determine that the preferences file is not causing the problem, then you can restore your custom settings by undoing the instructions below.
To re-create the Photoshop Elements preferences file:
Quit Photoshop Elements.
Locate the Adobe Photoshop Elements preferences files. In Photoshop Elements 5.0, there are two preferences files, one for Organizer and one for Editor:
Users\[ user ]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\5.0\Organizer\psa.prf
Users\[ user ]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\5.0\Editor\Photoshop Elements 5 Prefs.psp
Rename the extension for the files (for example, to psa.old).
Start Photoshop Elements. Photoshop Elements creates a new preferences file.
I doubt that this will fix your problem, however, it is always the first thing to try. If it does not, take these steps:
- Uninstall Photoshop Elements
- Run the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301)
- Reinstall Elements
- Reinstall the 5.0.2 patch

One of the user in exchange 2010 - outlook 2010 environment, in sent items email from address shows as invalid address after sent emails to recipients. Recipients are successfully received the emails. however, why the invalid address appearing in sent items
from address for the one of outgoing email?

Hi,
As what ManU Philip says, please check the issue in OWA firstly and try setting changes in Outlook.
Additionally, I noticed that there is an On Behalf Of in your post. If the issue is also the same on OWA, We can use the following command to check whether the user have Send on Behalf
permission on “/O=FIRST ORGANIZATION/OU…”:
Send On Behalf:
Get-Mailbox -Resultsize Unlimited | ?{$_.GrantSendOnBehalfTo} | select Name,GrantSendOnBehalfTo
Please try to remove these rights and restart Outlook to check the issue existing.
If all of the above fails, Please collect the error logs in Event Viewer and post here. I would like to help you any time.

Hi Christian -
Difference between flexible upload & Direct upload is that direct upload does not have Update Rules, direct upload will have PSA as usual & you can do testing in PSA.
second part when you load master data - if error occurs all the records for that request no will be status error so activation will not have any impact on it i.e. no new records from failed load will be available.

Inquiry on javax.mail.SendFailedException: Invalid Addresses error

Anyone does have any idea why the following is being encountered during the email authentication process? We are using PeopleSoft application and we have notification functionality which will send a notification email to the users but email not being sent due to an invalid email address but actually the email is active and valid. This isn't an authentication problem. You're sending to an address that your server doesn't know about, so it's rejecting your message. The error from the server is:
550 5.1.1 User unknown

Trying to update apps but invalid address keeps popping up

Recently every time I try to purchase apps or update apps on my iPad a badge pops up saying "Invalid Address tap continue to sign in" I hit continue and my address is correct, but my credit card 3 digit code is missing. I enter that and tap done I then try to update again and the same invalid address badge pops up again. This problem just started this week and it's very frustrating. I tried changing my password and now I'm having the same issue on my iPhone 4. Has anyone seen this or have any advice? Thanks

KevBlack's suggestion worked. Steps:
1. I logged in to my credit card site to verify how my address was listed. I had my apt number listed as Unit 12 on Address Line 1.
2. I logged into iTunes website and changed my Address Line 1 from '#12' to 'Unit 12' and saved to match my credit card address line.
3. I then tried to update my Apps in my iPhone and encountered the invalid error message again and entered my password.
4. This brought me to the Credit Card page where I entered my 3 digit code. I verified that the address was bearing the change I had made in Step 2, and it was.
5. I submitted and my apps began to download resolving the issue.
It seems that the validation is occuring for the credit card address on this line where Apple iTunes account is looking for an identical match from your credit card site OR maybe the '#' may be causing the issue.
In either case I agree with BlueHarbor that Credit Card Info should not matter if your Update is a free one, which it was in my case.
Seems like Apple customer service needs to clean this process up a bit or LET THEIR CUSTOMERS KNOW IN ADVANCE BEFORE INTRODUCING CHANGES THAT MAY AFFECT THEM since we are all scrambling after the fact to find out why our app updates failed and the error messages are not specific about which address is invalid (credit card vs. email address)

Ifeel miserable after trying out all the options changed multiple sims, tried multiple carriers, restored the phone back and have set-up as new device but the problem does not get solved... its is so frustrating that after investing on a world's most expensive phone you cannot enjoy the calling features which the phone offers which is the main thing you own the phone for.. Rest of the things are working.. The funniest part I am not able to make calls or receive calls but can access the internet.. I have tried every possible thing and really very frustrated with this iphone of mine...I hope the problem gets solved.. would anyone have any solutions to this problem.. Does it mean one should never update software as I hear that after updating to IOS.5.1 the problem has started coming and same has been with there.... Apple says its a hardware failure which is very difficult to digest as sometimes I get 5 bars and able to make and receive calls but 95% of the time I am unable to. If anyone has any solution I will be very happy if he or share can share the same. Many thanks. its so disgusting to experience this on top of this apple does not support global warranty for the phone as you need to go to the country from where you bought the phone for replacement.. What is the size of your hard disk? PSE 4 is a very old program and I suspect it is not able to access the entire hard disk on your machine. Just a thought here.

THE FIX: your credit card address AND spelling of your name must match iTunes.
Please don't google or read other blog entries on the Internet telling you to use a restaurant address or those that are telling you apple is doing address validation. They are all written by 17 year olds who pick up the first thing and re-post. Why do people try to "help" by authoritatively posting an answer? The mass of them are ruining my google searches. :-)
Apple is now validating whatever ASCII that you told your credit card company. It's not just address validation.
Name AND address must match.
Then it worked for me.
