Location of COM directory

I had to rebuild my test environment because of a reg
corruption... (thanks MS) and my Flex apps stopped functioning. It
turns out that it couldn't find my CFCs. I originally had the COM
directory in the root of my D drive... D:\COM. After some fiddling
I ended up with it in the MX7 wwwroot. D:\CFusionMX7\WWWROOT\COM.
Is this just a mapping issue and does it really matter. I'm afraid
this might be a security issue. Please advise.

You can find the classpath and the location of the extensions directory from certain system properties (not sure which ones, just dump them all and you'll recognize them). Given them, you have a list of directories and jar files which you can then examine sequentially. Don't forget that your class could be in a jar file, it doesn't have to be in a directory.

  • Location of log directory with respect to data guard

I am working with Oracle 10g in Linux platform
I was during a switchover from primary to standby which failed due to the incorrect settings of log_file_name_covert parameter . To debug this case I was going through Oracle Documentation material for Data Guard ....http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14239/troubleshooting.htm
There I came across this para
When the switchover to change the role from primary to physical standby was
initiated, a trace file was written in the log directory. This trace file contains the
SQL statements required to re-create the original primary control file. Locate the
trace file and extract the SQL statements into a temporary file. Execute the
temporary file from SQL*Plus. This will revert the new standby database back to
    the primary role.
I was not able to understand what the trace file and log directory means ? Which is the location of log directory ?
    Can anyone please explain ?

It was talking about a trace will be placed under your background dump destination. As you would have using
alter database backup controlfile to trace;Check your background dump destination where your alert log is.

  • The distribution agent failed to create temporary files in 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\COM' directory. System returned errorcode 5.

One of my replication job failed with below error, which means job failed because of permission issue on the folder. To resolve that, I have granted the permission and it started working fine. Now the question is as my job was running fine since long time
without any issue then how suddenly the permission of the folder got omitted automatically? I am sure that no one deleted the permission from the folder and as the server is part of SQL cluster no failover occurs.

    Hi Rahul,
Error code 5 indicates that the error is "access is denied."  Please make sure that the COM folder is excluded from any antivirus scan that occurs on the system.
If the issue still persists, I recommend you use
Process Monitor to find out a bit more about the accounts and access requests involved. Then grant write permission to the exact COM folder for the account that is running the SQL Server Agent service. For more details, please review the following similar
    thread.

  • Can the FrontendCallback.seq be located in another directory?

    Hi,
The normal location for the (customized)FrontendCallback.seq is \Components\User\Callbacks\FrontEnd. If you want to make a modification and place it in another directory, how you configure TestStand to look at this modified FrontendCallback.seq (i.e. not the default user directory)?
    Thanks...Kevin

    Hello Kevin,
Unfortunately you cannot change the location of the FrontEnd callback sequence. TestStand searches automatically for this sequence first in \Components\User\Callbacks\FrontEnd and if not found it searches at \Components\NI\Callbacks\FrontEnd.

Where is the default ' Downloads ' location?
I have downloaded a 1.2GB file and it shows in the Downloads window, but I am unable to locate it in the filesystem.
I forgot to make a Downloads directory in my home directory first, and have since made one.
    Thanks
    Denis

If you can find the downloads window (Keyboard shortcut Ctlr+Shift+Y in Linux) right clicking on the file entry should give an option to open the folder it is in.
If the option is greyed out it was probably only put in a temporary location and may have been deleted. You could try searching by name and date & size.

  • Location of com.sap.km.cm.xmlformedit

    Hi,
Does anybody know where the file "com.sap.km.cm.xmlformedit" located?
    Amit Pick

    Hi Detlev,
When you create a form using XML FB and then create a KM navigation iview with any News layout set (if I'm not mistaking) , you get several commands for each resource you created such as edit (edit_xml_form), delete etc.
You can create a link from another iview to the edit command or to the New form command using the xmlformedit component (have a look at the link of these two commands). I'm looking for a way to create a link to the delete command.
    Hope I clarified my situation.

  • Location Registration (Windows Directory)

    Hi,
Our external tables are currently configured to pull data from an FTP location. However, I was recently tasked to move the file location to a local directory in a Windows machine (same machine as OWB). I modified the Location information then registered and deployed the Connector. However, I get the following error:
    KUP-04040: file DATA.CSV in TARGET_CON not found
It may be that I have incorrectly filled up the data for the location. Want to ask the format for the following:
Username: Does it have to include the domain name (DOMAIN\Username) or just the username?
Hostname: Will "localhost" do or do I have to put in the DNS name or IP address of the machine?
Root path: Does this have any specific format or will something like 'C:\datadir' will do (without the quotes)?
Your help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
    -Ver

By the way, this is for OWB 9.2. Hope to have feedback on this. Thanks guys!

  • How can i change the default profile location to another directory or environment variable?

    Hi,
I need to move where Mozilla Firefox creates its profiles. it currently creates in AppData\Local\Mozilla... normally that is ok. In my network unfortunately AppData\Local is synchronised using Citrix Profile Management tools. the size of the Firefox profile whilst only several meg causes slow login times for my customers. So we currently have folder re-direction enabled and we would like to move the Firefox profile to a directory within documents i.e. %USERNAME%\documents.
I have found some ADM templates on the internet however, they have not had enough options including the VBS files i spotted that they are for a very old version. i have tried to find the correct location in the registry under HKLM\software\policys\Mozilla however this does not exist.
We are using Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2.
Mixed Versions of Firefox used but for sake of arguments version 28.
If someone could help that would be much appreciated.

I remember myself getting "connection refused" exception.I resolved it by referring the troubleshooting section in the docs shipped with sample on resolving this error.

  • Location of com.sap.aii.mapping.api on PI 7.1.

    Hello,
just tried to extract the above mentioned jar. file for development of java mappings on my local machine. I can find the jar on XI 3.0 in j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\com.sap.xi.services (as also described in some tutorials) however in release 7.1. it does not seem to be there. Has the path structure changed in the new release and where can I find the standard libraries on 7.1.?
