Log in/out of finder using terminal

This is a rather odd one:
Is it possible to log out of one account and log in to another in the finder using terminal?

Assuming that you are exchanging passwordless keys in ssh, then the assumption account to account security is not a primary concern. If this is true, then you could use AppleScript to automate the change of user and then launch processes as that user. While crude:
Run this as user1 logged into the Finder:

That will activate Terminal, drop the text su user1 into the command prompt, commit the Enter key, wait a second, pass the user's password to stdin, and commit Enter key again. Then the final command is to send the string path to the application executable. That will launch the applications (Calculator shown above - replace with path the QT Broadcaster) and release the shell so you can do additional scripts as the alternate user.
By the way, have you looked into Podcast Producer? It sounds like you are doing more live streams so it may not be for you, but figured I'd ask.
