Logical ports - SRT Framework exception: Preconfiguration is invalid

Hi all,
I'm recreating logical ports in a test system which has been refreshed from live. We have 10 web services which are consumer proxies in SOAMANAGER. I'm clicking the create logical port button and providing the WSDL file details in the popup.
For 5 of them it worked ok; for the other 5 I got the error "SRT Framework exception: Preconfiguration is invalid".
I've searched but I can't find much useful help on this error. These are all services which were using in our live environment so I wouldn't expect any fundamental errors. Maybe there is some issue with those 5 WSDLs. We applied some service packs a couple of months ago so there may have been some changes since we last had to do this. I don't see anything useful on OSS.
Any ideas anyone?
Best regards,
Paul

Srinivas,
Thanks for the response. The consumer proxies (services we consume from other providers) don't seem to be listed in SICF. Just the web services which we expose. The same with the note you found, it's about publishing web services, not consuming them.
The URI's in the WDSLs are correct, and the fact that 5 have worked shows I have the right authorisations.
My investigations over the last few hours have suggested that it may be related to support packs. I created a very similar client proxy in SE80 in our development system and the configuration tab detail has changed a lot from one we did over a year ago. The old one had an operation profile node with 5 features. The new one created under SP20 also has an interface profile and a security profile with 2 features each.
I could delete the proxy and re-transport but this takes a lot of admin. I wonder if there's a way of refreshing these proxy configurations in the other test systems without a transport.
Best regards,
Paul

    hello,
I'd like to create a logical port to my web service but when I create this type of error:

    someone has an idea?
    thank you

    Hi,
Most probably your class YAIRPORT_CO_AIRPORT_SOAP was't automatically generated by SAP from the .wsdl file. If so, then you have to generate it from this file and then create the logical port. For this purpose, go to se80, display the function group there you want to add the class, right-click it and choose Create -> Web Service. Then on the following screens choose Service Consumer, Local File and specify the .wsdl file for the web service you want to use. Finally specify a Package, Prefix and Transport Request, activate the changes and you're done. Now you can create the Logical Port.
    Hope this helps,

  • SOAMANAGER SRT framework exception HTTP :

I have configured the web service in client 100 using SOAMANAGER. I am consuming services from non-sap system. Now, when I am trying to create the logical port in another client it gives error SRT Framework exception: HTTP: Current user does not have the required auth to access the HTTP destination. I have checked all roles are assigned related to web service admin. I am using the same WSDL URL, which I have used for client 100.Please help with solution ..

    HI,
First webservice is runtime entity so we have to create the webservice link in each client and server dependent .
    Ex:
if you creating web service in 100 client dev system. The service is only for 100 client dev system. So you cannot use this for 200 client dev system .
So we have to get the authorization by user level or system level assignment for web service.
Please get the SRT authorization for the user and i t will be resolved.

  • Error while creating logical port for Reporting

    Hi,
In one of the training materials for Duet Enterprise, i saw the steps for creating logical port for the consumer proxy /IWTNG/CO_PXY_RECORDS_REPOSITO.
When i am trying to create the logical port, i am getting an error saying,
" SRT Framework exception: Error in WSDL access: Exception occurred in communication framework:Error in HTTP Framework:500 Native SSL error
    https://<server:port>/_vti_bin/OBAFileReceiver.asmx?wsdl "
I would like to know is it really necessary to create this logical port for "Reporting Scenario" and is it not created automaticallly using the Installation Wizard??
And in case it has to be created, how to resolve this SRT framework exception?
    ~ Ramanath.

    Hi,
the consumer proxy  /IWTNG/CO_PXY_RECORDS_REPOSITO was used in Duet Enterprise SP01. Now with SP02 the consume proxy /IWTNG/CO_OBAFILE_RECEIVER_SOA is created.
However, the SSL error that you are getting looks a little strange (it does not mean that there is an error, but it is worth checking):
So can you go to SOAMANAGER -> Service Administration -> Single Service Configuration. In here select "Consumer Proxy" from the "Search by", Search Pattern "/IWTNG/CO_OBAFILE_RECEIVER_SOA" and Field: Both.
You should find one entry. Select it and click "Apply Selection".
Now go to the Configurations tab. Here you should see one Logical Port with name "LOGICALPORTFORREPORTING" with Creation Type "Manually Created". In fact this logical port was created by the Wizard.
Click on Display and scroll down again. Now in the "Additional Information" tab there is a string after HTTP Destination, e.g. 0050568E3F5A1ED096F22339C44BAF83.
Copy this value and go to your SAP GUI -> Transaction SM59.
Here click on Find/Search and search for this HTTP Destination. You should find one Type G RFC Destination that has the target host of your SharePoint server and the path prefix /_vti_bin/OBAFileReceiver.asmx.
Now you can test the service. Just click on Connection Test. The result should be a HTTP Response: 200.
If not, then something went wrong with the automatic configuration and we should take another look at it (for example maybe the SSL certificate from SharePoint that was imported by the Wizard is not valid)
    Regards,
    Holger.
PS. Don't use the "Ping Web Service" test from SOAMANGER -- unfortunately this is not working consistently.

  • Error in Logical port for Consumer proxy in SOAMANAGER

    HI Experts,
While creating Logical port for Consumer proxy in SOAMANAGER I am facing problem
"SRT Framework exception: Uninstantiated object "subject sidl service" in method IF_SRT_WSP_CONFIG_SIDL~CREATE_CLNT_CFG_FROM_WSDL_D of class CL_SRT_WSP_CONFIG_SIDL ".
    Kindly suggest.

    Hi Milan,
this kind of error occurs when there is no service and end point description in the WSDL of provider who's service you are trying to consume using Consumer Proxy.
Just open the provider's WSDL URL that you have given while creating Logical port for the consumer proxy   and check if service and end point exists there.
    Thanks

  • Error when generating logical port in SOAMANAGER

    Hi,

Does anyone know what the problem might be?
    Thans in advance.
    Kind regards,
    Amel Alic

    Hi,
I, by mistake, reported the same problem; however the problem is that I referenced the WSDL without endpoint (WSDL service name....). I took this URI from Servces Registry, but was wrong (altough on the SR there were a valid binding+endpoint).
I put the right IRU pointing to the compete Service COntract (with endpoint reference), and it worked.
If you did't solve the problem, try to opern on the browser the URI you are referring to, and see, at the end if it contains the endpoint like that:
    <wsdl:service name="zsMy2ndCodeFirstWebService">
      <wsdl:port name="zsMy2ndCodeFirstWebServiceBinding" binding="tns:zsMy2ndCodeFirstWebServiceBinding">
      <soap:address location="http://xyz:8000/sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/.....my service operation..." />
      </wsdl:port>
    </wsdl:service>
    Hope this help.

  • Error generating logical port in SOAMANAGER

    Hi,
When generating the logical port in SOAMANAGER transaction I get an error message 'SRT Framework exception: Uninstantiated object "subject sidl service" in method IF_SRT_WSP_CONFIG_SIDL~CREATE_CLNT_CFG_FROM_WSDL_D of class CL_SRT_WSP_CONFIG_SIDL'.

    Fernando.

    Hi,
go to SICF transaction under /sap/bc/srt/wsil path, test the service and look for service provider you want to consume.
you get 2 links then test for logical port.
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/media/uuid/20eb3174-41ab-2a10-a383-907faf60eed3
The link is constructed in the following way:
    http://<host_name>:<port>/sap/bc/srt/wsil?sap-client=<sy-mandt>
or you can use transaction SICF then navigate to node /sap/bc/srt/wsil
and press "Test service" from the context menu.
In case there is a Service Registry in your system landscape to which the provider system is connected the profile-based endpoints could be found in that Service Registry as well.

  • Unable to create logical port

    Dear All,
I have created a web service from a function module. I have also created a proxy for the web service.
Before creating the logical port, I am also including the same port name in the endpoint of the service.
My scenario is, I am creating and consuming the web service in the same server.
While creating the logical port, the error
SRT Framework exception: Uninstantiated object "subject sidl service" in method IF_SRT_WSP_CONFIG_SIDL~CREATE_CLNT_CFG_FROM_WSDL_D of class CL_SRT_WSP_CONFIG_SIDL

Can anyone help me out with this please?
    Regards,
    Prosenjit.
Edited by: prosenjit chaudhuri on Apr 30, 2009 4:39 PM

    Hi Prosenjit,
I have received the same error when creating a logical port.  I believe that the issue may be to do with the default PI WSDL containing two <wsdl:port> definitions, one for HTTP and one for HTTPS.  I saved the WSDL locally, removed the <wsdl:port> definition for HTTPS (as I am only using HTTP) and then generated the logical port successfully, without receiving the error message.
Please note that you must use the via File option, rather than via HTTP Access, as the HTTP version will still contain the two <wsdl:port> definitions.
Please also watch out for Note 1325092, which means the URL Access Path (on the Transport Settings tab) is not set correctly.  If this Note applies, you may need to copy the complete URL from the WSDL into this parameter if it is not set correctly.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers,
    Jon

Do you have any idea ?
Also, i was unable to use any Consumer Service directly ... I am not a Basis and don't understand what configuration needs to be done.
    Thank you very much.

    Hi,
Did you create consumer proxy for the service you like to consume ?
It looks like your WSDL and Consumer proxy are not the same ?
Or you could create Logical Port Manually, but it will fail on provider side because the message you are sending and the provider of the service are not the same.
    Manual Configuration
The system uses a user-specified binding URL to create a logical port. You need to specify a unique name for the logical port.

    Hi

I find the consumer proxy CO_KMCWS_REPOSITORY_FRAMEWORK
I then try to create the logical port.
    i use the wsdl
    http://<server>:<java_port>/RepositoryFrameworkWS/Config1?wsdl&
when i apply the settings i get an error.
SRT Framework exception: The WSDL document is not compatible with proxy class "CO_KMCWS_REPOSITORY_FRAMEWORK": "Operation(s)Missing setGlobalConfig, resetSessionStatistic, resetGlobalStatistic, getSessionStatistic,
I know the operation i want to use(findResources). But I don't know how to set it up.
    Can anyone help me ?
    Best Regards,
    Rasmus

    Hi Rasmus,
Please check the Service definition in the WSDL URL given for Logical Port creation is same as the Service definition in the proxy CO_KMCWS_REPOSITORY_FRAMEWORK. It seems to me that  some methods/ operations in th proxy could not be found in the Service definition in the WSDL URL.
Download the WSDL from the URL and open it using some tool and compare the Service definition with that of the proxy.

    Avishek.
