Login credidentials and HandlerChain problem
hi, i have a problem with getting user who call a web service and logging soap message together.
i was getting a user with this code:
Logger log = LoggerFactory.getLogger("");
String login = "";
IUser user = UMFactory.getAuthenticator().getLoggedInUser();
login = user.getUniqueName();
log.info(login);
this code working with no problem when the basic http authentication was set.
problem begins with adding handlerChain annotation to web service class.
@HandlerChain(file = "LogMessage_handler.xml")
when i comment this annotation getting user working perfectly, but when the logging soap messages is turned on, web service is getting "guest" as user and http authentication is not working witch is the major problem because the webservice is available on internet. i want to logging inbount soap requests. but the no authentication is inadmissible.
can anyone help me?
I'm sorry. The XML file LogMessage_handler.xml
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

New Installation : Login Delays and Wifi Problems
Hey There,
I just a HP Pavilion DV2850ET laptop computer and decided to run Arch on it. But I have 2 major problems as for now. I'll be very pleased if I get over them.
1) When the kernel starts loading with vga=792 parameter on, 2 Arch Linux logo shows up instead of 1.. I don't think that this is normal.
2) I've installed all packages with the newest ISO image release: Archlinux-i686-2007.08-2.core.iso - It's installed without any problems. When the login prompt appears (that I'm going to write root to do the rest of the installation for a while) I can't write anything for about 10-15 seconds. After the 10-15 seconds of waiting, I can write whatever I want.. But this happens all the time and I have to wait everytime I open the computer. I thought that maybe this could be something related with the kernel installed so I upgraded to testing. But nothing changed. This is the most annoying part actually..
3) I have 07:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (rev 02) on the laptop. There are several modules for this card as far as I can see like: ipw3945, ipl3945, etc.. During the installation, I let hwdetect to fill modules part in rc.conf and it added these modules: sky2 iwl3945 snd-mixer-oss snd-pcm-oss snd-hwdep snd-page-alloc snd-pcm snd-timer snd snd-hda-intel soundcore - What are all these sound modules any way ? Are they really necessary ?
Here are lspci and dmesg outputs. I hope they help..

Login screen and scrolling problem
Macbook Pro 15" i7 from April 2010 here. Recently installed Lion, and I'm having 2 problems that I can't seem to find an explanation to:
1) Login screen
At the login screen, the screen brightness slowly goes down until it shuts off completely, then slowly comes back to life.
This repeats every 15-20 seconds.
2) Scrollpad issue
While scrolling up and down in my browser, it suddenly, unexpectedly registers a two-finger left/right swipe and the browser goes 'Back'.
I've -never- had this problem, thats why I doubt its my technique.
I'd appreciate it very much if anyone could shed some light onto these problems.I'm sorry. The XML file LogMessage_handler.xml

Export/import login server and user grup security
Hi,
I followed the instructions to export Login server, user group
security using the ssoexp.csh, secexp.csh. Then I imported the
login server, and user group security using the ssoimp.csh,
secimp.csh .
I then logged into Portal and check the users, all the users are
imported properly. However, I didn't see any group that are
supposed to be imported. Do I missing anything?
The syntax to run the secimp is as follows:
secimp.csh -s portal30 -p portal30 -o portal30 -m reuse -d
sec.dmp -c target_database
The import finished w/o error. How can I see the groups in the
new portal instance that I tried to import objects in?
I noticed that the wwsec_group$ in the source area is over 3000,
and in the target the count is only 10, which is the number of
group I have before the import. But during the export, I don't
see the wwsec_group$ table being exported, is that the problem?
P.S. versions are: 9iAS 1.0.2, portal version 3.0.9.8 on solaris.
Thanks;
Kelly. This question is best suited to the Oracle9iAS SSO and Portal Security forum.
Thanks -
Hello,
We are working on Macinthosh intel - Mac Pro Intel Xeon september 2007, with MacOs 10.7.3.
After trying to install the beta version of Photoshop CS6, we got serious problems.
- The CS5 Photoshop and Acrobat 9 is not working anymore.
When we want to "save as…", both application will crash.
When we do "save as weboptimized", un error says that the file already exists.
We did not manage to install the CS6 Photoshop beta neither.
I tried EVERYTHING supposed to do in other forums and in the adobe forums, like:
- latest version of AdobeApplication Manager
- Adobe cleaner tool
- Adobe support advisor
- cleaning manually everything on the disk which containes CS6
- Reparing Autorisation
- Trying to reinstall CS5 (but without issue
- trash prefs
- deactivate and reactivate PHotoshop
and some others…
When trying to "save as" or save as weboptimized…", the following errors appears:
The operation could not be completed.
An unexpected and unrecoverable problem has occurred. Photoshop will now exit.
When trying to "save as weboptimized" the following error appears:
A file or directory already exists with the same name.
When exporting or "save as" in Acrobat:
Acrobat is blocked, everything in the application menu is turned gray but there is not open window.
I have to exit with "esc+Alt+Command"
All this problems occured after installation of Photoshop Beta CS6, which could not be completed because of some more errors causing a licence conflict with CS5.
We were also trying the Adobe support advisor, we got the following error massage:

0x00007fff90a0db75 thread_start + 13Hi again,
We found the solution. I trie to give some details, if some other folks have a similar problem, perhaps they can find their solution with everything discussed in this topic.
All this was not working, after trying it several times:
Disk Utility> Repair Disk & Repair Permissions
Cocktail OSX (clear all caches)
Reboot and test
delete all printers
then look for a CS6 cleaner like http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
rebuild diskstructure and filestructure with several utilities like Techtool, Onyx.
We could not uninstall the complete Photoshop cs5 only, because in case of uninstalling the whole Mastercollection, this is much to much work to reinstall all of the extension from Dreamweaver which have to be activated and installed one by one.
What has been working is:
TRY a New User Account (to rule out User preference/settings) !!!
So this gave us un idea:
Compare the library of both USER-ACCOUNTS : "ALICE" and the new one we called "TEST".
Then we RENAMED the following folders in the /USER/LIBRARY: "Caches", "Recent Servers", "Saved Application State" and crated a new folder with the same name (we deleted it after, in case there will be some problems to restore the old ones)
We put all the INVISIBLE FILES and FOLDERS present in the USER folder which names are beginning with a .dot, like .filename (e.g.: ".adobe", ".bash_history", ".BridgeCache", etc.) into another folder which we are going to delete later on.
Finally we deleted all files "suspected" not to be there in the ALICE user account, in comparision to the TEST USER ACCOUNT.
And "miracle": Everything is working again, after 2 days of searching…
Thanks to everyone of you.
Best regards,

Reverts back to dark gray login screen and will not allow me to login
HI!
SPECS
Retina 15in.
16gb of memory
500 gb ssd.
OS - Mavericks
PROBLEM
I can boot up and login to my laptop - no problem. I have my login set up so that my user name appears and all I have to do is type my password.
The problem is when I try to wake my computer or disconnect it from my thunderbolt display. Sometimes, (more frequently as of late) when I wake my computer or disconnect it from my thunderbolt display my computer will revert back to a dark gray login screen and prompt me to put in my user name and password (First of all the login screen that comes up is different than the one that comes up when i boot up the laptop because it requests me to type in my user name). - once I type in my user name and password it will not let me log in. It will clear both the username and password fields and sit at this screen. At this point I am forced to restart my laptop and log back in. I never have any problems restarting and loging in right after booting up.
Any suggestions on how I can fix this? I do not think it is normal for it to just revert to the login screen and then not even accept my login information.
Thank you in advance for all and any help!First try a Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least Ten seconds... (But can take Longer)... until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.

3: If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try using the Steps in this article to force the device into Recovery Mode. -
How to pass login name and password
Hi all,
If this question has been asked before, please let me know, and I am sorry for duplicate the question raising.
I want to use the login name and password which are entered from the left frame(topic frame) in the right frame ( the content frame).
I have 3 jsp programs, "A.jsp" is for validate the login (name and password), "B.jsp" contains a form-submit to add the records to a database. "C.jsp" is the actual one which does the updating to the database.
Q1, how can I re-use the login name and password for "B.jsp" and "C.jsp"?
Q2, is there any security problem to do so?
your useful reply will give me a great help.

10.4.8 and color problems
I installed 10.4.8 and have the "blue" problem. I have isolated it to my account and can see when it happens during login, the background just changes to a funky color mapping as the login completes. I have disabled all my startup items, problem persists. How can I trace the startup of my account to identify what process is changing the color mapping. After my login completes I cannot get the display back to normal (display preferences/color does not change it)
Dual G5/Dual G4/MacBook Pro Mac OS X (10.4.8)Ok, for the last hour I have been working this issue and found my problem. I hope this helps others.
Delete the com.apple.universalaccess.plist found in ~/library/preferences folder
Brute force method was used. I created a preference2 folder and moved all the com.apple.*. plist into it, booted with the now smaller preferences and all worked. Then I moved 10 at a time back and loged out/in waiting for the problem to come back, when it did, I took an educated guess on the culprit (based on its name), moved it back out did the login out thing and the problem went away. Now I am not a plist guru, but there is an item named contrast in the plist with a value of 0.450000 and I suspect that is the problem.

Why are deleted user accounts showing up in login window and fast user switching menu?
There are several old user accounts, just test accounts when I was studying for ACSA that I deleted, which continue to show up in the login window and the fast user switcher menu. I deleted them before upgrading to Lion (I think it was before). The accounts do not exsist in the /Users folder, nor even the /Users/Deleated Users folder. Additionally they do not show up in the list of users in System Preferences. Can anyone give some advice on how to remove these "ghost" accounts from the login window and drop down menu?
Thanks
dcHi. Thanks for the link. Sorry it took me a while to get to this, the problem is not a show stopper, so to speak, so tried your advice when I had the time. Unfortunatly it did not work. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

After I type in my login details and press "enter" on a website, Firefox freezes for around half minute. This has gone on for around 5 months. I've tried disabling add-ons to my Firefox but they don't seem to affect this problem. My version is 17.0.1.
How do I combat this problem? Many thanks in advance.Provide the website name.
'''Try the Firefox Safe Mode''' to see how it works there. The Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.''
''(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)''
* You can open the Firefox 4.0+ Safe Mode by holding the '''Shift''' key when you use the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
* Or use the Help menu item and click on the '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' menu item while Firefox is running.
''Don't select anything right now, just use "'Start in Safe Mode"''
''To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the Firefox shortcut (without the Shift key) to open it again.''
'''''If it is good in the Firefox Safe Mode''''', your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one.
Please follow the [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article for that.

HT5129 i forgot my mobileMe login name and password
How can I retrieve my mobilMe login name and password ? I forgot them. I guess my login name was an email, but I still don't remember it
So why is it that if MobleMe is discontinues that I am getting MobileMe error when I try to sync my contacts? This message comes up that I have 350 contacts that will be deleted. I don't know how it came to that conclusion but I do not want to delete them. Click on the ? in the warning box up pops the mobileme signin to continue. It seems that if MobileMe has been discontinued this type of behavior should also be discontinued. Maybe that's why people continue to have trouble with trying to access Mobileme... because that is where the Mac system is directing them??? Still haven't solved my sync problem.

Trying to pass Login username and password from a non-Oracle Form
I have a form that I am trying to use to pass a login username and password to an Oracle form. The problem is I know Oracle 10g web reports can take login parameters in a URL, but I can't seem to figure out how to encode/hide it and have Oracle read it. I want to be able to hide the username and password (obviously for security) and I also want to be able to pass special characters... does anyone have suggestions? It seems even in Oracle forms there are some issues passing login info because I have built in parameter forms... I have given myself quite a headache either way! We are trying to upgrade from an old, old version of forms and reports and are trying to use as much orginal code as possible. It all works if I pass plain text user name and password... any help would be sooooo appreciated. By the way on the Oracle side I am still pretty much an infant developer... please talk slow and use simple words... ;-p
Thanks again for any help!
Va...asking me to enter username and password on a non-secured website, or else thy will destroy my account. Is it legit ?
It is definitely a scam. Delete it immediately.

KODI/XBMC auto run and script problems?
I started a project a couple weeks ago to build a htpc using xbmc/kodi. I wanted to be able to play retro and steam games. So I've installed emulationstation and steam. Now comes the tricky part (for me anyways), writing bash scripts to access the programs through Advanced Program Launcher. Once I finally got that set up, I set the computer to login automatically and to auto run kodi. And here's where the issue happens. Normally when I run the simple script below, it closes kodi, and opens the program (so only one program is running at a time). However if I try to access the program from the auto-run instance of kodi, it doesn't close kodi before running. Instead, it opens the program and then opens another version of kodi. So if I press alt-tab it shows "kodi/emulationstation/kodi", so I have 3 programs open instead of 1 and trying to close any of them starts a cycle of new instances opening that causes a crash....
#bin/bash
killall -9 kodi.bin
emulationstation
kodi &
So since everything runs fine when I start kodi by hand (icon and terminal), I'm assuming the problem is the way I'm auto starting the program? I've used the autostart section under the LXsession configuration, trying @kodi and @lxterminal -e kodi but both produce the same problem. Is there another/better way to autostart a program that I can do this? Or do you guys think it's an issue with the script?
Thank in advance!!
I'm running Arch 64 bit with the LXDE desktop. How do you autostart kodi ? By enabling the service ?
In that case killing kodi would make it restart. -
