Looking for struts bean:write Equivalent function/ tag in jsf??

Hi to all,
I am quite new to jsf. Soi might be asking a stupid question.
I just wanna to know is there an equivalent tag or simple scriplet that can provide the same function as strut <bean:write>?

ok i am not a struts programmer but from a quick search i am assuming <bean:write> outputs in html the value of a property in your java bean?
if this is the case then you simply use
#{beanName.propertyName}
i.e
<h:outputText value="#{beanName.propertyName}"/>
note your bean will have to be registered in you facesContext as a managed bean to do this (where beanName is the name of your managedBean)
if bean:write doesn't do this sorry :) forget my answer

Looking for someone to write custom Premiere plug-in

I am looking to find a programmer with a working knowledge of writing plug-ins for Premiere to write a custom plug-in for Premiere CS5.
The plug-in is extremely simple. It will be a Video Effect that can be applied to a clip on the timeline. It has one control that slides the top half of the clip to the left and the bottom half of the clip to the right; by a user defined number of pixels. However the plug-in then needs some kind of global control that allows the user to change the functionality of ALL instances of the effect in the current sequence - so at a command they slide the ENTIRE image left or right, and not just the top/bottom half. This could even be implemented by writing 3 plug-ins and shutting down Premiere, substituting the plug-in file on disk and re-starting it.
The reason we want this is that it will enable us to handle changing the depth of stereoscopic 3D clips in a Cineform workflow.

Looking for volunteers to write application comparison articles

There are a number of "what's the best?", "easiest to configure", and "lightest", questions that come up frequently in the forums: Image viewer, PDF/document viewer, tiling window manager, floating window manager, desktop environment, text editor, IDE, web browser, terminal emulator, ETC. And while there's very good documentation on some of the individual pieces in the wiki, there isn't as much on comparisons between them.
In order to help keep the forums from an endless cycle of repetition, we're looking for volunteers to add some application comparison articles to the wiki. The entries don't need to be comprehensive on individual programs, and there should be every attempt made to not unnecessarily duplicate what's already been written. Basic information on things like keyboard friendliness, lightness, text and/or graphic mode, and the like is encouraged though.
We'd like to use this page as the starting point:

Don't use it for the comparisons themselves, but put a link to the articles under the correct category. The page is already good as it is, although it needs both more entries and to be linked to in the Archwiki Table of Contents for higher visibility (please).
Of course the articles are not for flame wars or opinions. It's a place where users can go to get a good general view of how apps stack up against each other.
Report back any progress made here.

Struts bean:write

hello all
i have a bean class having getter setter method in which one instance variable is java.lang.Integer type.
i have to render these elements on to web page using logic:iterate when we try to access java.lang.Integer type property of bean class then
bean:write gives error
please give me any solution we cant make that property as int type.......

Well, I'm not sure I completely understand.
What do you want to iterate over ? A collection ?
As for Integer, you have the intValue() method that returns an int whose value is the one of the Integer.

Looking for router/switch combo equivalent to RV325

Hello:
I will be working with the RV325 router frequently.
I am hoping to setup a router/switch combo similar to RV325 at home to practice.
However, I do not want to spend $400+ just for that purpose.
I knew that RV320 has a similar GUI of RV325.
Question:
Is there any other router/switch combo that shares similar GUI and function of RV325 but even cheaper than RV320?

The snmp-server ifindex persist command only applies to ifIndex values as you have seen. The indices of the cikePeerTable should be well-defined, but the internal index may change on a tunnel flap. The MIB documentation doesn't say that it would, but it is certainly possible. The index structure would look like:
1."10.1.1.1".1."10.1.1.2".1006
Where 1 is the local type, "10.1.1.1" is the local end IP address, 1 is the remote type, "10.1.1.2" is the remote end IP address, and 1006 is the internal peer index.
The cikeTunnelTable on the other hand uses a unique monotonically increasing index each time a tunnel is created (cikeTunIndex). You would need to walk the table and pull out the specific tunnel attributes to know if this was the tunnel you want to monitor.
The short answer is that you may need to script the collection of the table rows to dynamically regenerate your NMS configuration to continually monitor the interesting tunnels.

Looking for most Mac-compatible Multi-function

I've been using an HP OfficeJet 7410 as my multi-function, and while it worked fine with a PC, it has one large flaw when used with a Mac: scanning to a .pdf from the document feeder results in cutting off text at the bottom of the page. (Note: it doesn't do this when scanning from the glass - only from the feeder.)
I've tried all sorts of remedies, but none works, and I've started seeing posts on various forums in which Mac users complain about this, so it seems to be some sort of incompatibility.
Which leads me to seek advice in finding the best multi-function (print, copy, scan and fax) with document feeder, and duplex printing ... for use with a Mac. I don't do much photo printing - mostly text - but good photo quality would be nice to have.
Any advice?

What do you want it to be able to do with your mac? At this time there isn't really anything else. Motorolla has 2 that it worked with apple on but they are extremely limited. Other than that most phones will support music and such via simple drag and drop with USB connection.

CS_BOM_EXPLOSION :Looking for a general concept of function modules

As i am new to abap world,i have a few apprehensions regarding using a function module.I am being asked to use CS_BOM_EXPLOSION to explode BOM list.I searched at google,found some pretty links and this suited to my requirements as given under.However what is not clear to me is that up till now i believe EXPORTING is what result i get from function module and importing is what i pass to function module.In this and many other examples i found that values are itself assigned to EXPORTING while importing are internal tables (probably) assigned to some structures standard used.
In short i am not clear how to use this function module.Could someone help ?

when you call the function module, EXPORTING is what you pass to the function module and IMPORTING is what the function module returns, TABLES again maybe returned by the function module.
You will need to define table types to get the tables data from the Function module.
ex : it_sTBD type table of tbd.
you will need to define variable to get the IMPORTING data from the FM.

You can make use of the constructor of the backing bean or the @PostConstruct annotation if you want to use managed properties.

How to use bean write in struts html:text tag

but it gives same tag in the text box.how i can solve this.

better alternative: populate your formbean with your action and just have:

If you set the "instruction" property of your formBean in the action, the value will be automagically reflected here.

Looking for a program to assist me in making gift tags and such on my mac book pro

I am looking for a program to design gift tags and brochures for my business. I've seen a print shop program by borderbund. Does anyone have any expereience with this?

Have you tried a safe start by holding the shift key when you boot? If that works, and it can take a while to complete, see if a regular boot now works. If it does, you need to free up space on your hard drive.
If a safe boot doesn't work, you need to either boot from an OS X DVD or go into target disk mode to connect via firewire cable to another mac to free up space on your hard drive. You need 5GB min, with 10% to 15%, or more, better, for systems usage. If you have a backup, move some data files to it, erase them and empty the trash.

hi I want to nest the <bean:write tag into any other html tag
i.e.

You can't use custom tags as attributes to other tags.
The correct way to do this in struts would be to populate the action form as part of the action.
