Looking for Trim Trailing Space extension for JDeveloper 10

I'm looking for the Trim Trailing Space extension version 10.1.3.2.0, for JDeveloper 10.1.3.5. I've tried the normal "Check for Updates", but the zip file that it tries to download doesn't exist. The version I'm looking for is listed on the download page here: http://www.oracle.com/ocom/groups/public/@otn/documents/webcontent/130355.xml, but the download link for it is broken. (I've also tried installing the latest version for JDeveloper 11, but it won't seem to install.)
Does anyone know if older versions of the Trim Trailing Space extension are still available? If so, where can they be downloaded?

Rob,
I sent an email to Chris (the author of the extension) and he has now recreated the extension for the 10.1.3.5 version that you are looking for. He added it to his download page on the Google Code.

Sorry about all this, but it seems that playing videos in a lightbox window is the ultimate goal.
I have tried the You tube video in my FF and it works O/k except that it does not auto-start. You are correct about not working in IE, (although the documentation says it does!).
I have found another one that works in IE but the QuickTime part does not seem to work in FF, you can check this out yourself as it may be my settings.

(The note on website says that the theme they are using has an effect on compatibility, so this may also cause the problem in FF.)
After much digging around various websites and forums, mootools had a problem working with IE and the recommendation is to download the new version of mootools from: http://mootools.net/download

OLEDB Provider 8.1.7.3 trims trailing spaces

We are testing 8.1.7.3 for our client who has problem with 8.1.7.0 provider
We have discovered that 8.1.7.3 trims trailing spaces when passing parameters to stored procedures.
like in the following sample when calling procedure using ADO and setting parameter to anything like
AParameter.Value:='A2 ';
test table is populated with just 'A2' string - trailing spaces are lost.
It was working OK with version 8.1.7.0
Create table test(code VarChar2(30));
Create or replace procedure testProc(code VarChar2) as
begin
Insert Into Test(Code) Values(Code);
-- NULL;
end;

oh ... I forgot to say ..
when I run query under Enterprise Manager as
select * from Openquery (db, 'select * from table')
then it will show me a pop-up message

Looking for a high-contrast extension for Safari for Windows

First of all,what do we call them - extensions or plugins?
Is there an extension for Safari for Windows for high-contrast? I can't find one anywhere. Windows 7 is set to a HC theme. IE just follows suit. Chrome detected this, ad offered to install a theme.
Don't know why, but I still prefer Safari on my Win7 system. But really need HC. One that just inverts the colors would work, but one with several other options like the Chrome extension would be better.

Trim trailing spaces in Numbers '09

I have tried to use Trim to delete trailing spaces. Which it does, but then if I copy and paste the value of the cell with the trim formula, I get the original value with the trailing space.
I have a large messy spreadsheet with lots of cells with trailing spaces which makes using reference formulas harder for me since I can't find exact matches (due to the trailing spaces)
How do I copy the string without the trailing space?

If you copy/pasted that text from A2 into your post, the final character is not a space. I copy/pasted from your post to a table and the last character is code 160 (A0 hex) which looks like a space but is not. TRIM will not remove that.
Try this
=SUBSTITUTE(A2,CHAR(160),"")
If that removes other "spaces" in your string that you want to keep, try this instead
=TRIM(SUBSTITUTE(A2,CHAR(160)," "))

Is there a replacement for Lazarus (form recovery extension for Safari)?

I used to use Lazarus to save form content (e.g., when a poorly designed site's page validation flushes all the content after finding something to nitpick). After upgrading to Mavericks a few weeks ago, I noticed that Lazarus was no longer working. The developers site (http://getlazarus.com ) is still active (though the "contact us" form fails to accept any submissions), but there doesn't appear to have been an update to the extension for over a year.
Is there any other extension/trick for saving Safari form content (and repopulating it when returning to a form/field)?

I, too, was sad to see Lazarus break. It appears the developers abandoned it, and certainly aren't paying attention to Safari usage.

This can be installed via any Safari extension that can inject userscripts into webpages, like the old "NinjaKit" or the new "Javascript Blocker."

Looking for an AIR Native Extension for iOS that will allow / disable access to certain apps

Error While creating a rule for trimming spaces

Hi All,
Please can you tell me the correct syntax for trimming the Spaces from the beginning of the word.
I tried like this but it is giving error as below:
BEGIN RETURN
ltrim($SPACES_TRIM, '');
END
ERROR: The return statement is expected to return a conditional value: found type<VARCHAR>. (COR-10622)

Hi Deepak,
when you create validation rules they always have to return TRUE or FALSE conditions. (A record can pass or fail your expression.
So your expression above returns a VARCHAR string, as you can read in the User guide, you are replacing leading nothing '' at the beginning of your string $SPACES_TRIM.
You need to understand basic concept for validation rule expressions and use of functions.
There are lots of great product tutorials here on the SCN, that describe scope, features and functionalities of Information Steward, so you got a understanding of what you can do with IS.

All AIR extensions for dreamweaver lead to nowhere.

A few weeks ago I installed a new copy of cs5 web pro and went to download the air extension for dreamweaver. I have found several links but it appears that someone running the adobe site had decided to redirect any URL with AIR in it to the new air developer site. unfortunatly there is no place on that site that links to the mxp file for the adobe air extension for dreamweaver... Can someone fix it so we developers that have paid BIG bucks for this product can download the extension? its pretty poor management to break a link in a product to a website. You guys should have a set of LINKs that ar on a NO TOUCH lis for your web host management team.

Looking for JDeveloper extension for RTD External Rule Editor

In Section "17.2.4.1 Construct" in the document http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E28389_01/bi.1111/e16630/external_objects.htm it is mentioned :
4. In the Project Technologies tab, move RTD ADF to the Selected column, then click Next
This technology is available on installing the extension for RTD External Rule Editor. (Refer Section 17.2.2.1 External Rule Editor and External Rule Editor Client)
But I can't find this extension anywhere - not even the exact name of the extension.
If anybody has installed this or has this extension, would you please share.

How to create JDeveloper Extension for new Projects ??

I want to create a JDeveloper Extension for creating new project with following: (11gR2)
1. Maven Support
2. pre-defined dependencies in pom.xml
3. pre-defined project feature (e.g. ADF Business Components)
4. pre-defined Custom Base classes for ADF Business Componets
Are there any documents / samples that i can reference ?!

Some of these can be added declaratively using the template_hook in the extension.xml file and defining an application and project template. Others will need to be added directly.
1. Add Maven Support
This can be added declaratively, as technology in the project template hook.
2. pre-defined dependencies in pom.xml
This is going to need to be added to your project after it's created.
3. pre-defined project feature (e.g. ADF Business Components)
Same as Maven support.
4. pre-defined Custom Base classes for ADF Business Componets
You should be able to use the library hook for this, but I'm not quite clear on what this means.
Here is an example template-hook that describes the creation of a Maven Application and the Maven Project that will be included with it. The <template-hook> element is placed inside the <triggers> section of the extension.xml file in 11gR2 (this won't work in 11gR1). This template-hook is what makes the Maven Application item show up in the New Gallery. Take a look at how that New Maven Application process works, and then look over this example. The <technologyKey> setting what adds the features to your application/project. In the example below, the Maven feature is being added to the project. The technologyKey for ADF Business Components is "ADFbc"
The commented out lines below are either just comments, or they are optional elements for the project and application template hooks. It's pretty obvious which is which.

Not quite sure what you are looking to do with the last item. If it's libraries that you're looking to add, you can take a look into the <libraries> hook.

Opening a file for write access [trailing spaces required]

Hi,
i am opening a file for write access using:
OPEN DATASET W_FILENAME FOR OUTPUT IN TEXT MODE.
However, when i perform transfer W_LINE to W_FILENAME, trailing spaces in W_LINE are trimmed off automatically. I have tried various methods without success.
Appreciate if help can be offered. Thank You~
