Lost Adapters in Adapter Monitor

Hi, buddies,
We've applied install guide SR1 and Release 3.0 SPS18.
But in our adapter monitor, there's two adapter engine, both of which contain only the "JPR adapter" with green status and no other adapters.
Anyone who can help us?
B'Rgds,

Hi YiNing
I hope you have updated the CPA cache after the upgrade to SP18. If not, then just do it now
Regards,
Gaurav

    When in XI no adapters are visible RWB  or you get the error "AE_DETAILS_GET_ERROR" I have several steps for this:
    <P>
    Check that all adapters are running in the Visual Administrator (under services)
    <P>
    Make sure the RFC's to the SLD (SAPSLDAPI) and Exchange profile (LCRSAPRFC) are maintaint correct in SM59.<BR>
    Check this also with transaction SLDcheck
    <P>
    Make sure the correct URL is maintaint in SXMB_ADM > Integration Engine configuration<BR>
    This should be like : http://hostname:80nr/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
    Check the settings with F7.
    <P>
    Check the users and passwords in the ExchangeProfile.<BR>
    <P>
    Check the users and passwords in SAP (check for locked users with RSUSR200).<BR>
    <P>
    Check the users and passwords in the SLD if this is a standalone (check for locked users).<BR>
    Try logging on with all XI users in the useradmin of the SLD (http://hostname:5nr00/useradmin)<BR>
    Sometimes a new password must be set. You can set it directly to the old password.<BR>
    <P>
    If there is a problem that not all XI components are shown in the SLD: see note 764176
    <P>
    If there is a problem between the function module SAI_AE_DETAILS_GET (line 241 adapaterType) and the SLD
    <P>
    (class browser > tab LD > XI Adapter Service : it shows AdapterType).<BR>
    In this case create a repair in the function module by editting it and transport it to the other XI  systems.
    <P>
    Restart XI
    <P>
    Perform a cache refresh:<BR>
       http://hostname:5nr00/CPACache/refresh?mode=full<BR>
       use the XIDIRUSER user
    <P>
       http://hostname:5nr00/rwb/rtc?op=init<BR>
       use the XIRWBUSER user
    <P>
       SAP transaction SXI_CACHE > start complete cache refresh (shift F6)<BR>
    <P>
    Sometimes a restart of the service SAP XI AF messaging is nessesary.<BR>
    You can perform this restart via the Visual Administrator<BR>
    <P>
    If all does not work: check if the content is up to date.<BR>
    Sometimes after a patchlevel upgrade, the XI basis content is forgotten.<BR>
    Importing the XI Content for Software Component Version SAP Basis 6.40 SR1:<BR>

    Choose the file XI3_0_SAP_BASIS_6.40_<PATCHNR>_00.tpz<BR>
    Import the file
    <P>
    Check if the XI services in SICF are active.<BR>
    Activate them with : SE38 > RSXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES<BR>

  • JMS Adapter not appearing in Adapter Monitor, How to Fix ?

    JMS Adapter not appearing in Adapter Monitor screen when choosing "Only Installed and Started Adapters" option. What need to do to install and start the JMS adapter.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    Only JMS adapter is not seen in the adapter monitor or other adapters are not listed in the same.
    Have you checked whether the JMS drivers are installed on XI or not?
    First would be to deploy drivers for JMS scenarios - https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/3867a582-0401-0010-6cbf-9644e49f1a10

  • Non central adapter engine & adapter monitoring

    Hi ,
    we installed PI7.0 sp12,and can we see all the available adapter as a list in RWB and adapter monitoring if adapter engine installed as non central?
    And we will see Adapter engine under Integration server if AE is centran and under non-central adapter engine if AE is non central ,right?
    thank you,
    Babu

    I could see both Communication Channel monitoring as well as Adapter monitoring.
    but once I click adapter monitoring I could see only JPR but not any other adapters.if I click CC monitoring there are no CC cos we havent created any yet.
    I am asking like,if we see only JPR in adapter monitoring not any other adapter ,is that a error while doing the installation and configurations? or is that ok?
    thank you for your reply.

  • No Adapter in DIR , in Adapter-Monitor only JPR - No Adaptermetadata

    Hi all,
    I have installed NW70, SR3 with Usage Type PI.
    The installation went fine so far. At the beginning I had some Cache Refresh Problems which are solved right now.
    I have run the initial admin task in the NWA for postinstallation of Usage Type PI.
    My Problem now:
    When creating a Communication Channel in Dir, while selecting an Adapter Type
    I get the selection window with Headline select adaptermetadata and the list is empty. It says Reults for Componentversions: "No results found".
    I cannot select any adapter.
    The same is when going into RWB -> Component Monitoring -> Adapter Engine <SID>
    I get everything in green status for the "Self-Test". When going to "Adapter Monitoring" I see only the red flagged (typical) JPR. But no adapter available, nothing in the list at all.
    I opened the VA -> Server -> Services -> Deploy and selected "Applications" at the bottom. So I see all the partially started in blue and red. I do see several adapters here e.g. sap.com/com.sap.aii.adapter.jms.app or sap.com/com.sap.aii.adapter.mail.app.
    When stopping the application sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.app, all adapter applications are going into status unavailable. When restarting sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.app the adapter are starting too.
    Within the SLD I have tried to check wether there is under "Technical Systems" ->Type of Technical System: Exchange infrastructure" the right entry, and I do see "Adapter Engine on <SID>.<Host>" beside a Domain-Entry, the Dir, the Rep, the Integration Server and the RWB. This seems (for me) to be OK.
    How can I get the adapters running, what thing do i missed?
    Kind regards J. Hopmann
    What do i have to do to get the adapter

    You need to import SAP BASIS Software Component Version into Integration Repository.
    Hi,
    Refer your configuration guid for this, the file can also be get from service market place.
    You can download it from service market place.
    https://websmp205.sap-ag.de/~form/handler?_APP=00200682500000001943&_EVENT=SEARCH&HIDE=&SEARCH_SPAT=X&SEARCH_BPAT=X&SEARCH_CD=X&SEARCH_P=X&SEARCH_PV=X&SEARCH_C=X&SEARCH_CV=X&SEARCH_TA=&SEARCH_V=&HIDE_EXPERT_SEARCH=X&SEARCH_MAX_RESULT=20
    In Search Term Enter "SAP BASIS <version>".
    Now click on XI CONTENT SAP_BASIS 7.00 -
    > Database independent -
    > SAPBASIS<version>.ZIP Just save this file on your machine and unzip it.
    Now put this in the import directory: \usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\import\
    In IR, TOOLS ---> Import design objects and import it.

  • XI Adapter Monitoring

    Hi,
    We are using two XI servers in the landscape. We are using XI Adapter communication in between of two XI servers. In this case how to monitor the XI adapter.
    Already I monitored the communication channel monitoring in component monitoring. But, it shows zero messages. Please provide the navigation to monitor the XI Adapter.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    1 ) Runtime Workbench
    The Runtime Workbench has the following new functions:
    a) Component monitoring: Communication channel monitor
    In component monitoring, you can use the new communication channel monitor to call information about the status of your communication channels and the corresponding adapters. You can also administrate your communication channels.Unlike the adapter monitor, the communication channel monitor also provides current runtime information about the communication channels of individual adapters, as long as they are registered for communication channel monitoring.
    To monitor adapters that do not provide runtime information to communication channel monitoring, continue to use the adapter monitor.
    b) Message monitoring
    Bulk messages are now displayed in the message list for Integration Engines. The corresponding individual messages are displayed in the message list for Adapter Engines
    c) Performance monitoring
    The advanced search now includes the sender/receiver criteria Agency and Scheme. However, you can still use the selection filters that you have created and saved, since the two new criteria are handled as not specified when such filters are loaded.
    The input help for all available sender/receiver criteria now has an additional entry <empty>. This allows you to specify attributes explicitly as "empty".

  • Adapter monitoring with central SLD!

    Hi ,
    we have central SLD in our landscape(different host from XI server),and our basis guys installed PI7.0 SP12.And AE is local as I can see under Integration server.
    I can see JPR in adapter in adapter monitoring.
    I have question here!
    should it needs to show all the list of adapters (FILE,JDBC,JMS,SOAP etc)in adapter monitoring in RWB?does it vary,if sld is central or local ?
    what is the ideal way.
    thank you,
    babu

    <i>where the adapter engine should appear in RWB under integration server or under non central adapter engine if we have installed central AE and central SLD?</i>
    Under Component monitoring -> Integration server -> Adapter Engine
    <i>and it has show all the adapters when we install central AE and with central SLD when we furthur click the show all adapters?</i>
    As i mentioned above, u may view all the adapters after clicking
    Adapter Engine -> Adapter Monitoring
    <i>or is it changed since PI 7.0 to cummunication channel monitoring and no adapter monitoring?</i>
    Yes. Now the monitoring of adapters r much intensively done by Communication Channel Monitoring
    Regards,
    Prateek

  • Adapter Monitoring is now part of Channel Monitoring ??

    Hello ,
    After recent upgrade to SP17 i am getting this message while trying to access adapter monitoring ? what does this mean ?

  • Adapter Monitoring with CCMS

    Hi,
    is there anybody who already set up an adapter monitoring  with CCMS using the alert framework of Runtime Workbench ?
    Background:
    When using the existing MTE's in CCMS (J2EE Monitor Templates - All Systems - <SID> - J2EE Applications - SAP XI Adapter Engine) only rare monitoring information related to XI messages are posted.
    What I would like to see are information about the adapters provided in the logfiles of each adapter.
    For example as soon there's a permission problem for a directory in File Adapter an alert in CCMS should be raised.
    I already checked SAP notes 870232, 913858 and 824039.
    Any feedback appreciated.
    Cheers,
      Juergen

    Hi,
      You can configure the CCMS as per the following two blogs,
    Part 1: /people/sap.user72/blog/2005/11/24/xi-configuring-ccms-monitoring-for-xi-part-i
    Part 2: /people/sap.user72/blog/2005/12/05/xi-grmg-customizing-for-xi-ccms-heartbeat-monitoring-part-ii
    Configure the Alert Framework with the below Blog as reference,
    /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/09/09/xi-alerts--step-by-step
    Then forward the Alerts created in the CCMS to Alert Frame work, the required steps are given in the below help links.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/3f/567ddea69d3d4c93a6aedabd08899e/frameset.htm
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/30/62e77b2f4865488a866d4103923a93/frameset.htm
    Then any alerts that gets generated in CCMS can be passed to the Alert Category kept configured in the Alert Framework.
    Hope this helps you

  • Communication channels not shown in adapter monitoring

    Hello everybody,
    we got several communication channels running on the same file-adapter.
    But in adapter monitoring only ONE communication channels is shown.
    The other communication channels are not shown although we expected them at least with an error.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks a lot
    Regards Mario

    Hi,
    I think, you have chosen the selection criteria only for the Correct one in the Page.. Check with All information in adapter monitoring screen.
    Following will be looked once you don't have any adapters are visible..
    Check SAP BASIS Content is imported in the IR or not.
    Check this thread also-

  • Lost the power adapter.

    Hi,
    I've lost my power adapter(ultracompact) that came with iphone 3G. However I have an old apple USB power adapter that I used for charging my ipods. When I checked the online apple store I saw that there are two different power adapters. The bigger one, which I use for charging the ipods, is not said to be compatible with iphone 3G although it is for 1st generation iphone 1st generation. Is it still possible to use the older adapter or do I have to pay for new one? Thanks.

    You can still use the charger if it is USB. If you find the other one though, Apple is starting the ultracompact USB exchange program on Friday. If you have an old one that came with an iphone 3g, you can bring it in with your iphone and they will exchange it for free. They are doing this because some of the metal tongs have gotten stuck in electrecal outlets.

  • Cannot display Adapter Service in Adapter Monitor - XI Runtime Workbench

    Dear Experts,
    I have already done the system copy XI 3.0 from Win Server 2003 32bit to WIn Server 2003 64bit.
    I have also done the post activities in NW AS ABAP system copy and NW AS JAVA system copy.
    I have a problem now,
    I cannot display the adapter service in SAP XI Runtime Workbench ( http://jktbtr-sap01:50000/rwb/index.jsp )
    Tree Domain -> Integration Server  -> Adapter Engine jktbtr-sap01
    Button Adapter Monitoring.
    In the previous source system I can see all the adapter service : BC, File, JDBC, JMS, JPR, Mail , RFC, SOAP, XI.
    But in the target system, I just found JPR with red light.
    What configuration should I set to register and start those adapter services in target system?
    Regards,
    Adhi

    can u check whether u are able to see the list of adapters in communication channel. when u select the adapters.

  • Problems in adapter monitoring

    Hi all,
    We have a problem when we try to see the list of adapters in the adapter monitoring. It is showing only JPR adapter and the names of all the other adapters are missing.
    But we were getting the names of all adapters when we are trying to configure the adapter in the communication channel. We are working on a newly installed XI.
    Can anybody help me in this.
    Thanks in advance,
    Divija

    Hi Michal,
    We have already imported the .tpz file of SAP Basis 6.40 but still we are unable to find any adapters under the Adapter monitoring.
    When we click Adapter Monitoring, we only get JPR with a red status.  Also on clicking the JPR node, the SLD access is also having red status.  The error message is pasted hereunder:-
    Error getting JPR configuration from SLD. Exception: No entity of class SAP_BusinessSystem for XIT.SystemHome.itcxi1 found

    Kindly suggest how to get all the adapters displayed under Adapter Monitoring.  Thanks in advance.

  • Adapter monitor namespaces

    Hi everyone,
    when viewing the Adapter-Monitor i get a list of namespaces for each host i am exploring. Now i was wondering where this list of namespaces is exactly gathered from. I understand that it is connected to the deployed adapters but where is the list actually been taken from. For example: to remove a namespace from the list, is it enough to remove the namespace from the Software component version in the Integration Repository ???

    Hi Frederic
    Each adapter is listed under the namespace in which its Adapter Metadata are defined in the Integration Repository.
    Removing a namespace from its Software Component Version in the IR would indeed remove it from the adapter monitor, but it would also remove your ability to configure adapters of that type
