Lost registration code

So it seems that somehow my registration to Quicktime Pro has disappeared; my computer no longer recognizes it. I would prefer not to purchase it again. Does anyone know a quick and easy method to access my registration online? Thanks!

Log into your account at Apple's online store...
https://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?nnmm=a cct&mco=24A40BD0
You should find you Pro key there.......

  • Lost registration code for Logic Express 7

i got Logic Express a few months ago and cannot remember for the life of me what i did with the registration code so i can't even use the program. can you give me any advice on what to do? thanks much.

If you bought it from the Apple Store, they'd have records of the purchase, and could perhaps provide you with the proper numbers.

  • Lost registration code for Logic

    Hi I NEED HELP !!
I have Logic 6 and 8 on my G5 but I need to install it into my Macbook.
I've lost the registration (in recent house move) and I need to do this asap as I'm going to Copenhagen to write/produce at the weekend and I need to use my laptop for the work...
I know this is very basic ( and believe me I feel alittle stupid ) but what can I do?
I have the logic dongle still ... do I still need the registration number for it to work?
any help would be greatly appreciated !!
    Thank you

    Hi there,
Yes you need the LP8 serial number.
The XSkey is needed only if your Logic Studio(Logic Pro 8) is an upgrade from a previous version.
Call Apple Support ,with proof of purchase.

  • I lost my quicktime pro registration code

I already bought a quicktime 7 pro registration code twice.
My hard drive just crashed and I lost everything, including my registration code for quicktime 7 pro.
In the online store where you buy that code, you can login with your name and password, and you can see a history of your purchases, but only of the last 18 months. My purchase is a couple months older so I can't see it in my history.

Sorry, but Apple can no longer provide codes purchased more than 18 months ago. If you don't have a backup of either the email containing the code or the QuickTime preference files, then you'll have to purchase a key yet again, or find a third-party product that can do what you need.
    Regards.

  • Lost original registration code

I have only LiveType upgrade code. After transferring LiveType appl. to my new Mac Pro I can't use LiveType because the registration window won't accept upgrade registration code and requires original code which I don't have. How can I get it, how can I make LiveType work on my new MP?
    Milan

I would like for you to hear the whole story because the solution, that you might have, could be helpful to others.
My 2006-07 Mac Pro broke down and I bought top of the line new one. Being limited by 500GB SSD I decided to do clean install Aperture and FCS on the new MP from DVDs and put the HD from the old MP into the new MP. This way I would have two startup HDs in the new MP: SSD for work with new pictures and video, old HD with tens of thousands of pictures on Aperture and videos on FCP as needed. I figured I would have access to both from the new MP and could work on both programs on both HDs just by switching the startup discs in System prefs.
After installation of old HD on the new MP I also transferred some other applications from the old HD. The old HD sits now in the slot of the new MP next to the SSD. I could install some aps. straight without difficulties, some asked me for registration code which I had, and few like LiveType, Cocktail, which I have been using frequently, wouldn't accept the code. There is no way I can get the original code of LiveType because ten years ago the LiveType was bundled to FCP. Moreover, I lost the use of some aps. even in the old HD because, as you said, it was tied to the old computer's logic board. Both HDs in the new MP wouldn't accept the registration code.
My basic question is whether I did the transfer of files from the old MP to the new MP right and what should I do with situations like LiveType?

  • I have lost my registration code and I cannot find out how to get it back...

Can some one help me find out how to get my registration code back? I have been Googling many different places and I cannot seem to find a place to get it back. It would be much appreciated...
    Thanks,
    Nire Inicana

    Hi,
You can just register again to get the registration code for VS.
Or  you can find Visual Studio product keys using the Windows Registry:
    For 32 bit Windows:
    visual studio 2010
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VisualStudio\10.0\Registration\PIDKEY
    visual studio 2013
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VisualStudio\12.0\Registration\PIDKEY
    For 64 bit Windows:
    visual studio 2010:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\VisualStudio\10.0\Registration\PIDKEY
    visual studio 2013:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\VisualStudio\12.0\Registration\PIDKEY
    Notes:
Data is a GUID without dashes. Put a dash ( – ) after every 5 characters to convert to product key.
If PIDKEY value is empty try to look at the subfolders e.g.
                ...\Registration\1000.0x0000\PIDKEY
                  Or
                ...\Registration\2000.0x0000\PIDKEY

  • Can't locate QTpro registration code

    Hi there,
I recently made a QTpro purchase online but lost the details. Now, I want to find out the registration code again.
There's nothing under my 'software downloads' because I didn't download anything - they just sent me the reg-code via email for my existing QT7 player. My purchase invoice is there, but no reg code and nobody to contact for help ('cept you fine people).
    Suggestions appreciated.

The Downloadable Software Purchase History should still list QT Po purchases. I have three listed in mine, even though none of them involved a download.
If QT Pro is still working on any machine, you can see the registration number by selecting Registration from the QuickTime Player menu.

  • Recovering Quicktime Pro registration code

My computer crashed a couple months ago, and the replacement does not come with QT Pro, which I had bought years ago. I have lost my registration code, is there a way to recover it using my apple id? It seems to me that I shouldn't have to pay for it again if my computer crashed. Thanks!

Yes, absolutely it does. There is no QuickTime X Pro, at least not yet and Apple's not made any mention of one. QuickTime 7 Player can be installed for use with a Pro key to preserve those Pro features. If you're upgrading from Leopard and have QT 7 Pro already, the Player will be automatically moved to the Applications/Utilities folder and your Pro key carried across, or it can be installed separately. See:

  • Registration Codes/Keys for Apllications

Before I installed Leopard, I backed up my user folder, application folder, and systems folder from Tiger using Lacie software. I did a complete reinstall with Leopard. I have fix most of the problems with address book, ical, mail (minus the Hotmail issue), etc.... What I have not fixed is the application problems with Aperture and Adobe produces. I have copies of the Apps on the hard drive, but cannot open them or move them to computer. They copy but then don't open. Any ideas on how to get these to work?
I lost the registration codes for Aperture, Flickr Export, and Acrobat, so I cannot reinstall and make them work. Is there any way to pull the registration keys off the hard drive? Where would I find that in the Library?
    Thanks!

I lost the registration codes for Aperture, Flickr Export, and Acrobat, so I cannot reinstall and make them work. Is there any way to pull the registration keys off the hard drive?
Sorry but no. Such keys are kept encrypted in the preference files (or in some cases in the app itself) so that people can't pirate your serial numbers from your machine. If you've lost your serial numbers, you'll need to contact the developers and see if they'll reissue the codes. If you can provide your purchase receipts, they may be willing to do so for you.

  • Lost product code

I cleaned my hard drive, and when i started to reinstalled my Final Cut Express, i ralized that i lost my product code. Is there anyway i can possibley retrieve it.
    g5   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

Call Apple customer service. They may be able to help.
Also this is a good reason to keep a list of all your software serial/registration codes somewhere. I have a notebook where I keep all that info. You might want to give it a try. It's been a lifesaver for me quite a few times !

  • Lost Registratin Code

So here's the deal, I purchased iWork, but I'm in the military so I don't have the space required to save the the registration codes and such. (In retrospect, I wish I would scanned it). Anyways, I got a new internal hard drive and when I moved all the data over to the new drive, the program lost it's registration code. I still have the old internal drive and is now an external one, which the old iWork is on. Is there a way to find the registration code on the old hard drive, retrieve it from apple or get a new one?
If anyone has advice, please e-mail it to me at [email protected]

Since you still have the old drive, look in HD > Library > Preferences for the com.apple.iWork06.plist & copy it to the same place on the new drive. If it exists, you might also copy com.apple.iWork06.Installer.plist, but I'd try without. Note, these are in the main HD Library, not a user's library.
