Lotus Traveler meeting notification time is off on iOS 6

I had been leaving my time zone adjustment to manual to prevent messing up with Lotus calendar until last week. I had enough issues due to the wrong time zone that I finally caved in and let my iPhone automatically adjust the time zone wihle on the West Coast (I live on the East Coast)...
Everything looked fine last week while I was away until I returned to Philadelphia and now my calendar notifications are off by 3 hours (East Coast <> West Coast). To be specific, the meeting is set to start at 4 PM EST in the calendar whereas the notification I receive 30 min before the meeting says 1PM...
The time zone is still set to "Set Automatically: ON" (current time zone is NYC which is correct). help!

Invite from Lotus Traveler shows wrong time zone

Question: why is the time zone always showing as Hawaii on calendar entries sent using Lotus Traveler and which I accept on my iPad?
Here are the facts:
1. I am an iCloud user (on my personal iPad and Mac)
2. I access work emails/calendar on my work iPad using Lotus Traveler
3. I send an invite from my work calendar on my work iPad and accept the invite into an iCloud caldendar on my personal iPad.
Result: Invite shows correctly on my calendar on my personal iPad but when I open Calendar on my Mac, the invite will ALWAYS shows as "Hawaii" timezone.
I've tried all combinations of timezone support on/off etc. The problem also does not present itself if I accept the invite from Calendar on my Mac.
I've taken alook at the .ics file that is origanlly sent and the TZID is "GMT +10" format as opposed to "Australia/Sydney". If I look at the .ics file on my Mac, it as "Hawaii" as the TZID.
Do anyone have any ideas?
There are a few posts of similar issues from a few years ago, but the issue seems to have been resolved in previous OS versions.

I don't have an anwer to the previous in this thread but I believe a related question. I recently received two invites to meetings from a Lotus Notes v6 user. Each repeated weekly on a Tuesday for 10 weeks and one meeting followed the other. The first posted to iCal perfectly. The second posted a meeting on the Tuesday in the first week at the correct time. The first repeat however posted 24 hours later (not a week later) and then repeat weekly but on the Wednesday (not Tuesday) but at the correct time.
I have examined the ics script of both meetings. The only difference appears to be that the meeting that posted correctly had DTSTART and DTEND both on the same date (in Universal Time) where as the one that incorrectly posted the repeats the meetings spanned midnight in Universal Time. Are there any patches or ways to fix this. Can I edit the script and then re-post it to iCal so as to "trick" iCal into placing this on the correct day?

ICal resends email with meeting request every time I close meeting notification alert

After I upgraded to Yosemite issue with iCal appeared

Is there any way to turn off the ical feature whereby someone emails you a meeting date/time and it automatically goes on your iCal?

Is there any way to turn off the iCal feature whereby when someone emails you a meeting date/time and it automatically appears on your calendar? Once there they can't even be edited or deleted.

What version of the Mac OS are you running (Apple > About this Mac)?
You should be able to delete events in iCal as long as they are not from a "Subscription" calendar. Subscriptions show up on the left hand side of iCal under the "Subscription" category if you have any.
You can tell iCal to not check your mail program for invites by going and unchecking the box found in iCal > Preferences > Advanced > "Automatically retrieve..."

Lotus Traveler sync issue

Our company is syncing Lotus Notes emails, contacts via Lotus Traveler.
Time to time (ones a week) I have to switch off/on my iPhone 3GS as the push method stops to work.
I can still receive emails as soon as I open Mail app on the iPhone but company Contacts for instance are inaccessible until I restart my iPhone.
Anybody same experience? Solution?

Calendar Reminder Time Way Off - Set to 500, 600, or 700 minutes

I am syncing my calendar with my GroupWise calendar through the Desktop manager software and the usb connection. I totally wiped my curve back to factory defaults and everytime I sync my calendar the reminder time is always at 500 minutes or longer. I have the default reminder set to 5 minutes in the general optins. I want to be reminded 5 minutes before the appointment, not 500 or 600 or 700. I get reminders for appointments hours before they are going to happen. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? Please help. It is very annoying. Thanks.

I too am having this problem and it is a major one. The notifications are completly off by more than 500+ minutes. The reminder is supposed to be 10 minutes prior to the meeting.
I have pulled battery, problem is still here.
I have wiped the unit clean, problem is still here.
I checked the time zone, it is correct and the problem is still here.
I have had my IT people look at it, they can not figure it out and the problem is still here.
Please note I sync with Groupwise 8 using Desktop Manager version 5 and sync w/USB. Also, it is important to note that I have tried older versions on GW and DM but the problem remains. Help....

Blackberry Travel Calendar sync times wrong

I am having a problem with the automatic calendar sync in the Blackberry Travel app. Some of my flights are sync'd at incorrect times but others (even within the same itinerary!) sync correctly. One flight was booked on the Air Canada website and the itinerary was automatically uploaded to BB Travel from the email. The other flight was booked by a travel agent and the itinerary was also uploaded automatically. In both cases, the departure and arrival times were off for 1 flight of the 4 in the same itinerary! Any idea what I can do to fix?

How do I get rid of Lotus Traveler Mail icon (E71)...

I recently upgraded the firmware in my E71. Now when I open up my Messaging, there is a Lotus Traveler Mail entry with a question mark icon beside it. It appears that Traveler mail is no longer included in the latest version but the icon remains. My phone software version is 510.21.009.
There are several discussions on how to remove Traveler Mail on this forum (using X-plore to reveal .sis hidden files) but these fixes don't work with the new firmware version.
BTW - entering *#7370# is not an option for me . . .

went back into Muse, redid it several times till it took, reuploaded the
file to FTP
so far it's OK.

Are you unable to uninstall it from the app manager in the main settings menu? How about long pressing the app in the app drawer and dragging up to the notification bar? Does the app have a phone admin property checked in Settings-Security-Phone administrators? Sometimes, if it does, apps will not uninstall until unchecked.

Lotus Traveler Address Encoding for Apple Devices Problems with Z10

we have problems with the Lotus Traveler Address Encoding for Apple Devices IBM Notes and Domino wiki
We are running Traveler 9.0 with BES 10.1 and 10.1.0.2354 on the Z10.
When composing a new mail addresses from our Domino NAB are shown like this: [email protected] instead of the name. It seems to me that name search is first looking to the Internet address field in the Domino NAB. In our case this field is empty (and cannot be filled with an address). If the field is empty, the User name or the Short name field seems to be used. This fields are filled with Domino like names like John Doe/City/Company. The Traveler Server will convert these names (see link above) and the Device (Z10) should only show the common name instead of the converted name.
This is not working on our Z10s. The converted name is always shown like [email protected] and you don't know the real name.
Is the problem known? Any workarounds?
Edit: Further investigations have shown that the conversion works if you use an address in the mailbox the first time. If you use it later again, it is coming unconverted from the address chache. Also if you perform a remote search from the contacts app the converted name instead of the common name is shown.

While your idevices still having apps downloaded by the old Apple ID, Apple Store will ask you for the old Apple ID and password to updated them. But, if you delete all apps downloaded by the old Apple ID, then download again by the new Apple ID, Apple Store will not ask you anymore for the old one.

App notifies even though Notification Center is OFF

On iOS 5.0, I have the New York Times app assigned to the "not in Notification Center" group in Settings (that is, its Notification Center on/off swtich is OFF). Nevertheless, I just received a notification from the New York Times app, complete with annoying sound. So, is it really necessary to turn off all the notification settings for an app, such as sound and badges, to suppress notifications, even though the app has been removed from the Notification Center?
If so, what is the purpose of an app's Notification Center on/off switch?

However now I kinda have the opposite problem. In the daytime (when my ipad sound is turned on) I don't get any notification sounds. LOL! So problem is solved but another one has appeared instead. I have a Smart cover if that's at all relevant....

I need for my work the Lotus Traveler, this app is one of the reason that I bought a Nokia E7, and now with the Belle I missing it.

I am having problem as clrc10. Before updating I had no problems connecting to my BT hub with wi fi. But after updating I can not connect and when I do (no one is going to believe me on this)all my wireless connections in the house drops but I can not get internet on my phone.. It says its connected but no data being received or sent. First my understanding was the hub is not working. BT has replaced my hub, I am still having the same problem. I have tried it with other wireless networks as well with no success.
I have re-installed Belle few times to see if the problem gets resolved. I am having the same problems.

What I am ultimately wanting to do is make more room on my computer by backing up all of my files onto the external hard drive and then deleting them off of my computer. However, neededing to be able to retrieve them from the external hard drive later down the road.
From what I have read and am trying to understand, is that I probably shouldn't have used time machine. I need to use the external hard drive like a basic flash drive where I can put things on and get things off without having it automatically update through time machine everytime I connect it to my computer.
Not tech savvy at all and barely understand basics. I need very simple and easy to understand explanations.

Many 100s of millions of hours of lost work and data are lost each year due to this single common false security. This is an unnatural disaster that can avoid by making all data redundant and then redundant again. If you let a $60 additional redundant hard drive and 3 hours of copying stand between you and years of work, then you've made a fundamental mistake countless 1000s of people each year have come to regret.
