LSO WBT: learning progress time isn't saved for otype P (but works for US)

Hello,
We're noticing that the progress time of a web-based training isn't saved for a person (otype P). However, for a user (otype US), the time is saved correctly in table LSOLEARNING_C.
The number of completed learning objects is saved though, it seems the problem is only with the time (field TTIMECRS).
What could be the reason for this behaviour? Thanks!!

Hi Dave,
There is an authorization issue with the standard "LSO_CPLAYER" role. I am assuming you have assigned this role to the Content Player communication user. I also had the same issue. I did not have a luxury of time so the immediate fix for us was to assign additional authorization to the user id that resolved the issue.
The reason it works only when there is no pernr attached to the user id is that, in this specific situation the system uses the User Ids authorization to update the data in back-end. When the pernr is attached to the user id then the system uses the Content Player user id to update the data. While doing so if the standard role "LSO_CPLAYER" is assigned then due to the missing authorization it is able to update everything except the time. Please let me know if you require any further clarification or information on this.

  • Internet not working with Time Machine after power outage... but works when

My power went out and now the internet will not connect with the Time Machine. If I plug it directly into my mac book it works. Sometimes it takes a little bit to work when plugged straight in, but I can get it to work. However, when using the Time Machine, I can't get on at all.
I tried using the Airport Utility Set up and nothing worked -- and now it won't even recognize the time machine at all!
Any suggestions of what to do? All of my work is on the internet. I had no issues before the power went out.
    Thanks!!

    Hello,
Yes, I mean Time Capsule. I tried unplugging and plugging in several times. Nothing is working. Somehow I cannot even see the Time Capsule network as being there at all.
I've had the cable company come replace the cable modem, but the guy didn't really know anything beyond that. So I have a new modem that can work when the cable is plugged directly into my laptop but the whole functionality of the Time Capsule is down.
Please help! I need internet this fixed by tomorrow morning if possible.
    Greatly appreciate the help! Thanks!!!

  • Bug: Fill of a group setting isn't saved

If you have a create a group with at least one layer, then change the Fill of the group to anything other than 100%, that value isn't saved for the next time that you open that file. It remembers the opacity, paint type (pass through is default), and any style effects put on the layer, but it doesn't remember the Fill setting.
I checked it in CS5, and groups in CS5 didn't let you edit the Fill setting, so this is new in CS6. I made both psd and psb files with maximum file compatibility both on and off, and the Fill setting wasn't saved in all cases.
    I'm using windows 7 64bit.

    I'll second the original poster.
Just wanted to point out that I have observed the same behaviour in the Mac version of the software.

  • LSO Learning progress from content player

    Dear Experts,
In the Portal, the paticipant can view the Learning progress( this Learning progress is a consolidated display of the content) can this learning progress be shown unit wise or chapter wise in the table of contents. instead of the consolidated display,
    Please advice.
    Regards
    Rajeev

    Hey Ravi,
    Thanks for sharing your perspective.
After thinking further about the real estate question, I believe that, at least in the US, most instructional designers aim to present content at 800x600 pixel size.  This accounts for differing monitor sizes, etc.  If this is the case, then good instructional design (e.g. don't put too much content on a screen at once) should assure that content could be played in-line (in the BSP page).  Since the navigational controls are at the bottom, that wouldn't have any effect on width of the page and could also be accommodated.
I'm still of the opinion that SAP LSO (and all leading LMS systems) should evolve to presenting content in the base window.  Perhaps there are some extreme exceptions where the extra real estate would make a true difference.  In that case, perhaps the learner should be offered an LSO learner setting where they can choose to display content in-line or in a separate window....let them decide   Alternatively, one could offer the Training Administrator an infotype setting where they specify whether the content should be displayed in-line (default) versus in a separate popup (this could be used on an exception basis).

  • Time Interval isn't saved

    Hello,
The Time-interval on our BW system is set to an upper limit of year 2012. Since this is causing problems, I need to change this value to 9999. With transaction RSRHIERARCHYVIRT, on "General Settings"-tab, I enter 9999 and hit save. No error is generated, but it isn't saved: renewing the transaction shows 2012.
SU53 doesn't show any authorisation problems.
SAPNote 930521 looks like the problem, but our support pack is higher. The Support Package of the BW system SAPKW70018 and it was verified that the suggested correction is implemented.
The [Forum Thread|https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=930521] suggested that the value should be changed in ECC and transferred to BW. But again: the same problem arises in ECC (it doesn't save, but no error is generated and no authorisation problems occur).
But on a different BW system I can change the value in the RSRHIERARCHYVIRT. This system is on Support Package SAPKW70013.
    Any clues to the solution?

  • Since installing Yosemite, my iMac isn't saving Notification preferences.

Since installing Yosemite, my iMac isn't saving Notification preferences. I know it's an issue, because I've seen it in other forums. Any help?

Here are the instructions I got from AppleCare from an Apple Engineer. I'm not sure if the fix was specifically for my machine or if it'll work for someone else. Follow at your own risk.
    1. Open the Library folder in your Home folder.
    2. In the Library folder, open the Application Support folder.
    3. Locate the folder named NotificationCenter. Drag this folder to the desktop.
    4. Next, open the Terminal application.
Copy and paste each line of these commands into the Terminal window, in order. Press return after each line:
    cd `getconf DARWIN_USER_DIR`
    rm -rf com.apple.notificationcenter
    killall usernoted; killall NotificationCenter
    5. Close the Terminal app.
    6. Restart your computer.
The notification preference changes won't stick until you restart a 2nd time after this.

  • Firefox isn't saving my tabs

I need to start off with the warning that I have no clue what I'm doing and the work I've done so far was based on other people's advice or information I found on MozillaZine. This problem started after I downloaded the latest version of Firefox.
So... Firefox isn't saving my tabs and I think I know why, but I'm not 100% sure. (I have it saved that I want to restore my previous session whenever I open Firefox.) I went to about:config and went to look for browser.sessionstore.enabled to see if that was messed up, but the file wasn't even there. Obviously, I'm assuming that's the problem. If anyone could tell me if it sounds like I'm on the right track that would be great.

The pref [http://kb.mozillazine.org/browser.sessionstore.enabled browser.sessionstore.enabled] is no longer used in Firefox 3.5 and later (bug 449596).
Remove that pref if you still have it via the right-click context menu and choose Reset.
Check that Session Restore is enabled.
You can look at the 'browser.sessionstore' prefs on the '''about:config''' page and reset prefs that show as bold (user set).
    http://kb.mozillazine.org/browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo
    http://kb.mozillazine.org/browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo
    http://kb.mozillazine.org/browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash
If you use [[Clear Recent History]] in Firefox 3.5/6 or [[Clearing private data|Clear Private Data]] in Firefox 3 to clear the 'Browsing History' when Firefox is closed then restoring tabs from the last session (e.g. "Save & Quit" or "Show my windows and tabs from last time") doesn't work.

  • Capture time is not saved into JPG file! (LR 2.0)

    Hi,
I have this JPG file with no EXIF data whatsoever but I know it's capture time so I went to Metadata » Edit Capture Time and changed the capture time. Now, on Lightroom in the Library module, I can see the capture time there and then I save the metadata with Metadata » Save Metadata to File. However, when I check the file on Windows Explorer, the capture time (or date taken as named by Windows) is not specified at all.
Why isn't the "Save Metadata do File" working correctly?

    @William Porter
I don't have that box checked but it shouldn't matter because I'm not talking about exporting new files to update the metadata. I'm talking about updating the files metadata within the files that are already added to the library.
    @Richard Earney
That option was already checked from the beginning but it's not helping. That's exactly why I don't understand why this is not working.
Maybe a bug on LR 2.0 Final?

Does iCloud save voicemail messages from my iphone 5 when I back up? More specifically, I am trying to access messages from my now deceased father that were in my deleted voicemail folder at the time I last saved, that have since been cleared.

The iCloud backup includes visual voicemail messages.  I'm not sure if it includes the deleted ones or not, but I would assume it does.

Your Apple ID isn't enabled for iTunes Connect. Learn More
Clicking on the link takes me to the front page of apple support which is not very helpful.
I have an enrolled enterprise Dev account - or at least I think I do as the moneys gone out but apple isn't communicating on the process at all.
ITunes account is verified - twice.
Last Apple Dev took six weeks to get processed - this one is taking at least as long.
    Any ideas what next.
NZ Support number asks for an extention and then says beep when you put it in - no go there.
Australian desk is theoretically open but keep getting - this support center is closed messages.
Singapore is a generic help desk - not Apple Dev support.
And now, despite clicking on Dev support it asks me what device I want support for - Well Duh !!! None. Apple Support - oxy moron.

    Hey Syed Hassan,
Thanks for the question. iTunes Connect is a service for developers and content providers to manage the content they have offered on the iTunes Store. If this is indeed what you are attempting to do, you’ll want to get started with the online application:

    - Try another cable. Some 5G iPods were shipped with Lightning cable that were either initially defective or failed after short use.
    - Try another charging source
    - Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
