Lumia 920 repair job still hasn't been found after...

I am trying to track my repair online and everytime I enter my details (postcode and repair ref) it gives me an error saying job isnt found.
I have definitely entered the correct details according to the repair ticket that was given to me. I have checked, double and triple checked that I was inputting correctly.
I was told by EE staff that I was likely to get the phone back within a week and this I now know was a complete exaggeration unless my case is an exception. I understand that the recent weather could be a factor but surely not to thiis extent.
Someone please help me with obtaining some information on what is happening

Generally network shops will only send phones away once a week or once every other week and often only get one delivery back each week. Depending on when you dropped it off and other factors like the weather it may still actually be sat there in the shop.
Unfortunately it's not an issue that can be dealt with through this forum. You should contact the EE store where you left it. If you want to contact Nokia you need to call the number on the link below:

Nokia themselves are usually quite quick for repairs based on my experience in the last few years but that was using their courier collection service or leaving at a care point.

    Now AS Java system will not have ITS . So entered solution manager ITS info.Then I got
    "with servers : server0 (running EM Core, Application Server Java)
    No setup or configuration steps performed yet"
    By the way I can't find  Diagnostics Administration --> Diagnostics System --> Self Check. Select your Solution and start a Self Check.Can you please explain it in detail.

    I started to install and configure Wily Introscope on one of my satellite
    system.
    I have one problem on some systems with the name of the server. The name of the satellite system is "hades" with lower letter. I installed the SMDagent on this hades system, this was installed successful (please see the [Agent Administration picture|http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/4707/agentadministration.jpg]). My problem is when I start to configure the agent for hades system on Managed Systems running Managed Systems, here I get "The SMD Agent 'Hades' hasn't

    letter for server name "hades". The server name is "hades" (with lower"h"), and this is the name in Agent Administration (please see the difference between ["Hades and hades|http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/4707/agentadministration.jpg]"), but in Setup Wizard the name of the server is "Hades"(upper "H"). Can you help me with this issue, because I am not able to
    continue because Agent is not available.
    I want to inform you that I ran SMSY_SETUP in to transfer all the SLD information to SMSY and this was successful transferred.
    Can you please tell me from where can come this server name with upper "H(ades)" . Only some systems have this problem, I configured another systems and those worked fine (the name of server was correctly (with lower characters).

    There are two possibities.
    1) You specified the SLD option when you installed the agent (I think this requires NW 7 SMD agent > ~14).
    - On SM system go to RCA work center, select Agent Administration, then Agent Candidates.  As long as you registered the agent in the same SLD as SM uses, it should be visible in the SLD view.  You need to associate the agent with this SM and supply connection information - there is a button for this, but you need to fill in a userid and password...
    The agent retrieves connection information (eventually) from SLD.
    2) You didn't register the agent in SLD or the agent needs special information to connect to managing SM.
    On OS level User smdadm (or DAAadm) there is a scripts directory
    /usr/sap/SMD/J##/script - SMD 7.0
    /usr/sap/DAA/SMDA##/script -- Diagnostic agent 7.1 or 7.2
    Run smdsetup.sh (.bat for windows) - no options gives all the possible sub commands.
    You need to specify info for "managingconf" sub command.
    If you provided wrong SLD connection information you can correct with this script too. (sldconf subcommand)
    You can also specify saprouter info...
    With supplied (correct) managing connection information, the agent should show up on the Agent Administration page.
    Note hostname is managing hostname, servername should be managed hostname.
    smdsetup managingconf      hostname:"sapms://<fqn>" port:"<MS httpPort>"
                                  [optional user:"<...>" pwd:"<...>" servername:"<...>"]
    smdsetup managingconf      hostname:"<fqn>" port:"<p4 port>"

    The first form uses load balancing the second doesn't.  The port in the second should be 5##04.
    Ckeck logs in work directory for error information (in case of typos, etc).  I think there may be a log in SMDAgent directory too.

    I've seen this question posted, but no answer provided. I'm trying to install Wily Introscope on a Java-only (Netweaver 7) system. The SMD software is installed and the agent is running. I can see in the log files that the Wily agent  has connected to the management console.
    I'm running EHP1 on the Solution Manager server.
    When I go to Introscope Agent - Detailed Selection   and select this server this message is displayed "Failed to connect to server: "server" - Please make sure SMD Agent is up and running"
    When I attempt to run the Diagnostic Setup Wizard. I get the following message "the SMD Agent "server" hasn't been found" 
    1.) I've stopped and started the SMD agent on the client serveral times - Does not fix the problem
    2.) I've restarted Solution Manager - does not fix problem
    Any idea how to trouble shoot this issue?

    Thanks for pointing me in the right direction - here are the steps to resolve this issue.
    In my case the problem was caused by dual entries  in smsy for the server. I had the hostname and a DNS u2013 cname u2013 for the server in smsy. This was confusing Solution Manager.
    1. Use SOLMAN_WORKCENTER
    2. GoTo      ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS  COMMON TASKS  ADMINISTRATION  AGENT ADMINISTRATION
        a. Right-click on the server with the problem and select  u201CRESET SERVER NAMEu201D
            i. The SMD agent will be disassociated with the server.  Restart the SMD agent on the server.
    3. Steps to reassign the server name
        a. Use SOLMAN_WORKCENTER
        b. GoTo     ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS  COMMON TASKS SETUP and CHECK  DIAGNOSTIC SETUP  DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS  UPGRADER
            i. Select the UPGRADE NOW button
        c. Once the UPGRADER tasks completes
        d. GoTo     ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS  COMMON TASKS SETUP and CHECK  DIAGNOSTIC SETUP MANAGED SYSTEMS  SETUP WIZARD
            i. Select the server
            ii. Reassign the SMD agent to this server
               1. The SMD agent will restart with the correct server name

    I have running SMD agent on the client (ServerNWD). I can see the alerts of this server in Solman rz20. Everithing fine.
    But when I enter to SMD to configure Diagnostic, this told me that "The SMD Agent 'ServerNWD' hasn't been found!".
    SMD is the only one service in Solution Manager that can't see the agent on ServerNWD.
    What can I do?

    I also have this error and I found hte solution in :
    1. https://service.sap.com/diagnostics
    2. Click on "Wily Introscope 8.0 Installation Guide" under "Installation and Configuration"
    3. In this guide - Read page 5 and page 38
    Did you add your user in users.xml and authorizations in domains.xml ?
    Do not forget that there is a direct link between the SMD Agent and both Wily IS Agent.
    When you configure SMD in Diagnostics Setup from SMD, if the SMD Agent in the managed system in not started,
    you cannot configure your Wily Host-Level Agent in Introscope Setup, which is a step of the Managed System Configuration
    of SOLMAN_SETUP.

    I have already upgrade the Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1 . I have a problem with my SMD  error The SMD Agent 'BASAPI02' hasn't been found!
    I want to setup E2E Root Cause Analysis for ERP 6.0 Stack Java system.
    So I configured SMSY, I've already installed SMD Agent in managed system successfully also.
    When I run the Diagnostics Setup -> Managed System -> Setup WIzard,
    in the Setup Parameter Step , it said that " No SMD Agent is currently available (ie not assigned). Please install an agent for BASAPI02 or unassign an existing agent in Agent Administration Why is that so ?
    In the Agent Administration ( DIagnostics Administration -> Managed SYstem -> Agent Administration) found that the agent is online.
    does anyone know why this happens and how to resolve

    The agent name registration or agent registration on it's own depends on the version of your diagnostics agent.
    From diagnostics agent 7.20 and higher if you have installed it using default connection setting in sapinst then you don't need to seperately register the diagnostics agent in the agent candidate management.
    Once the agent is known you should see it in the agent administration list. If you don't see the agent in the agent administration list it would mean it is not yet known and you have to go through the agent candidate management first.
    The server name assignment is normally done through the managed system setup. After selecting your SAP system to be configured and pushing the setup button you get a screen in which you have to fill in the hostname, user+pass and so on at the left side bar. On the right side you should see one or more lines that represent your SAP system.
    You have to expand that line and then select the appropriate agent from the list. After selecting the correct agent from the list your diagnostics agent will get the hostname assignment and you will be prompted to wait and refresh because the agent is then automatically restarted.

  • Feed still hasn't been approved - can't resubmit

    Hi there-
    I submitted a podcast to the iTunes store almost a month ago. I received confirmation that it would be reviewed, but never a follow-up. It hasn't been accepted and I haven't gotten any sort of rejection notification. I've tried resubmitting and am getting a message saying the feed has already been submitted. I've tried changing the title and link fields as iTunes support suggested, but I'm getting the same message and can't re-submit. The feed is working and valid.

    A few weeks I bought the downloadable version of Fire Emblem, and in a few hours it said the order was in progress, so I waited. The e-mail with the code still has not come, and I have checked my paypal account to make sure everything went right.   • I know this has been asked multiple times but there still hasn't been an answer: my iTunes 10.2.2 will freeze my entire mac upon opening...

    ... and it's been doing this for a while. PLEASE, I need a solution. It started off (many moons ago) as occasional freezing when listening to music and then one day it froze and stayed frozen. So I restarted my computer and after that, iTunes was never the same. I deleted the version I had and downloaded the newest version. At first, it took a whole night (and by night I mean 12 hours or so) to put all my music back in iTunes and once that was done it would attempt to determine the gapless playback. After a while the number it would reach before it froze got smaller and smaller until it just stopped trying and froze my whole computer the minute I opened it. I mean, I can't click on ANYTHING once the iTunes icon stops bouncing. iTunes will pop up and then that's it for my computer. I tried leaving it alone for an extended period of time to see if it would unfreeze itself and it doesn't.
    PLEASE, I need a solution, as I'm sure many other people do as well. All I see are threads about similar issues with no solution handy. I've repaired disk permissions, I've deleted the little com.apple.iTunes whatever that I was supposed to delete (and it ALMOST helped but didn't really), I've reinstalled and reinstalled, and it gets so frustrating because nothing is working.

  • Lumia 920 - most backwardish experience ever

    I shall vent my anger at Nokia. 
    Recently broke my trusted E6 and having no time for contemplation went for top of line Lumia 920. 
    Trying to use the THING have been the most confusing experience i have ever had with any device/system in my life.
    xxx experience started instantly: No support for Ovi Suite, you can not sync your contacts unless you sign in to online account when phone is initalised. Ok, i got over it, mowing on.
    Trying to make first call - this device is not a phone! There is no T9 style dial !!! No speed dial !!! 
    Ok, found Rap dialler, but it is not native and WP8 asks for additional confirmation before allowing the call, which is displayed in upper left corner - most inconvenient for single handed use. And it does not show missed calls - so i have to keep separete apps on screen for making calls and looking and missed one. 
    Tried to configure home screen .. there is no switching of them, you have to slide, which is way more inconvenient too fast/slow and icons end not where intended. 
    UI is written for/by aliens. I still have not figured out the confusing behaviour of back button - when it closes application and when goes back. 
    Mowing on - No onscreen toggles for turning wireless, BT and sound on/off.
    Constantly missing calls because ringtone is turned off and it is not visible when on screen. Yes, there is TOGGLE (another app you download) which is far cry of what Symbian Belle had.
    The last one made my blood boil: you need the app to send contact details to someone!!! 
    I pulled broken E6 from drawer and brought to service center. I can't wait to have it fixed and back in business.
    You shall be warned - if you like E6 think twice before downgrading to new phone

    Unfortunately I cannot help you with the fact that Widowsphone is totally different to Symbian and there is a huge change when you switch. I personally switched from an N8 to a Lumia 800 and then to a Lumia 920 and 820. Like you I found it very strange at first but 18 months down the line, I have adapted and now find it different but easier to use than Symbian in many ways. There are things that still annoy me but I now work around them and there are features that I now cannot live without.
    Back to your gripes, I might be able to help with a few.
    T9  or Qwerty, you do get used to it. The word prediction on the 920 is very good once you get used to it.
    Missed calls and other notification are shown as icons on the lock screen and then as numbers on the tiles once you unlock.
    The homescreen unfortunately is the way the UI is. Need to talk to Microsoft about that but again, you do get used to it.
    For toggles, download an app called connectivity shortcuts.
    To send a contact, goto People>Tap on the contact you want to share>3 dots>share contact>tick>select the sharing method you wish to use.

    Hi all,
    I'm having an issue with my incoming calls, where it sounds to the caller as if the phone is ringing but my BT landline doesn't ring, and if I pick up the phone there is no caller there.
    My installation took place Friday 12 June (phone + BT Infinity). A few days before, I spoke to Virgin who said that BT hadn't requested the phone number from them and this would cause problems. I spoke to BT then but they assured me it was okay.
    When the engineer installed the line, he tested it and said that they number hadn't been ported across (if I plugged the handset into the old Virgin line it rang, but not on the new BT line) and that I needed to contact BT about this because he couldn't do anything from his side.
    Several days later it still hasn't been ported, and if I plug my phone into the old Virgin line, it rings there, not the new BT line.
    Outgoing calls and BT Infinity are fine.
    Can anyone help me out with this? I don't care too much about keeping the old number, but I do want to be able to receive incoming calls!

  • Phone bar hasn't been lifted

    I'm away for work in Sweden at the moment and my phone got a Bar put on it. I have payed the outstanding allowance and am now in credit on my account but the bar still hasn't been lifted

    The bar could of been lifted but because your not in the UK you do not know if you have a roaming issue or the bar hadn't been lifted. 
    Please read this though.
    Buying a bundle doesn't mean that your device will work aborad you need to make sure roaming is enabled on your account.
    If you have a EE extra plan you still need to make sure roaming is enable on your account your plan only gives you free/cheaper calls when abroad.
    If your wanting to enable roaming on your account there could be a deposit to pay if you haven't had the device for about 6 months.
    Unless you have paid the deposit then roaming is not enabled on your account.
    You need to activate roaming on your account by calling 150 from your device or from a landline 01707 315000 before you leave the UK.
    But you can still do this if you are abroad.
    If you have had the device/contract for 6 months or over you can login to your online account and turn on roaming yourself
    Manage this device>Usage controls>Roaming abroad - Allow and Call abroad and turn it on. If the option is not there you need to call
    It can take 24 hours to activate
    If you had this device/contract for under 6 months you need to call customer services on +44 7953 966250 from a landline.
    Once you have activated roaming you can then use this link to see what cost there is and what bundles you can have.

  • Lumia 920: Still trying to figure out what the pro...

    Aside from being very upset about Nokia's not allowing updates for the unbranded 920s, I'm still trying to figure out what the problem is with my camera...
    I had nearly a perfect working phone one and a half week ago. Even though the battery didn't last well and heated up somehow and there are gliches with some apps, the phone and its original apps worked without problem. Once the battery died in the middle of the night but I thought that it was because I didn't plug the charger well enough, it's a little loose anyway. I read about the freezes and restarts in different forums and was wondering what people were talking about, since I didn't have any such kind of problems. I felt myself being lucky.
    Then I got some app updates (Nokia drive+ and a few others), and ever since then my camera hasn't worked properly. When I open the camera app or click the camera button nine out of ten times it just goes back to the home screen or else it freeze the phone. I have tried soft resets and restarts but they mostly don't work, or they might work long enough to take a couple of photos and then stop working, or otherwise it freeze the phone and need to soft reset it. There is no pattens as to when it works and when it doesn't. I have also tried to uninstall some apps but it seemed to have no effect on the condition of the phone. Every app that utilizes the camera won't work ( camera won't work but other functions work), flashlight app won't work.
    Today I decided to hard reset the phone. It's surprisingly easy procedure that took less than 10 min. I did my first hard reset and chose to use my phone's backup files from Skydrive and it went fine, except it didn't do anything to the camera, i.e. it didn't work. My second hard reset I chose to "start from clean table" (or something of such) without any apps installed, and also disabled the automatic update but it didn't do anything either, no working camera. I did the same procedure once more just in case I did something wrong, but it didn't work. The fourth hard reset I restored from Skydrive to have (mostly) everything in order. No working camera either but almost everything else works now.
    It puzzles me. I'd though that if the reason of camera not working is some app updates then start from the clean table would have resloved it. Even after hard reset using camera at the very first possible chance didn't succeed: it worked for a very short moment before it froze the phone, just like before resetting. If I can keep myself from touching the camera the phone itself works (aside from maybe once or twice restartd itself, very rarely anyway). Now I have a phone with a camera I can't use and I don't have a clue what the problem is. I don't think that there are hardware problems because the camera *worked*, and I don't believe that software updates can break it hardware-wise. I have thought of changing it but who can promise that I'll get a phone that works better. Probably I should wait for Microsoft's/Nokia's updates, it just feels like they never come...

    Sorry to hear you are having such a rough time with your 920. In this case, it might be best to take your phone back to your point of purchase and ask for a replacement, and if they are being less than helpful, to take it to your local Nokia Care point instead: http://nokia.com/support
    I can certainly empathise with you, as a lot of the issues you describe are apparently fixed by the Portico update by Microsoft that was released yesterday to AT&T and Rogers devices but not the rest of the Lumia Windows Phone 8 range unfortunately. Bit of a wait, but hopefully not too long until the update hits.
