LWAPP APs not showing in CiscoWorks

I recently installed a new WiSM bundle and converted a group of Autonomous APs to LWAPP and now CiscoWorks does not see the APs. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

LWAPP APs don't run SNMP, so CiscoWorks can't talk to them. The informatino CW used to retrieve directly from the APs is now available through the controller. However, I'm not sure CW supports controllers yet.

WLC problem - Some LWAPP APs not working

Dear All,
Our WLC 4402 and 46 1130AG Access points in LWAPP mode have been working flawlesly for the past few years, but suddenly this week some access points have not been working (but the rest are fine). They are correctly registered on the WLC, but if anyone tries to connect they get an authentication failrue and the WLC logs the following. Nothing on the WLC has changed, the only thing that's changed on the network is a new firewall (the WIFI network is one of the subnets) but that shouldn't affect whether users can connect to the WIFI network. Anyone have any clues as to what's going on?

What kind of authentication i being used on SSID that the clients connect to? If RADIUS server is involved, can you verify if it shows any logs pointing to auth failure?
Run a debug client on the controller for one problem client and send it over.

Why are some aps not showing the ap picture it's just white

When I add an ap back on my sons ipod it is all white, there isn't a picture. Example Angry Birds shows up as the ap but the picture doesn't appear th box is white when we download aps the picture appears. Anyone know why this is happening.

In summary, the Classic has problems displaying photo's whose original resolution was above a certain size.
However you can display the via slideshow, i.e. press the play button rather than the centre button. You may want to change the slideshow transition settings though.
Hopefuly this will be fixed in the next firmware release.

702W APs out of box not showing on WLC

We have a 2504 WLC with existing 11 APs which are 3602-I.
We want to add 5x more 702w APs. I have installed the license on the 2504 WLC and that was fine.
I have added new APs mac to my dhcp server, so they get an IP now and I can telnet/ssh into them using their IP (and default Cisco username/password).
The problem is that they are not showing up on the WLC. I see on the APs ssh session that its running the (ap1g1-RCVK9W8-M), Version 15.2(4)JB5, image.
Can someone please explain how I can get the APs showing up on the WLC?

What code running on your WLC, it has to be 8.x to support this AP model. refer this

APS metrics page not showing all CPU's

I have installed BO 4.0 SP02 patch 11. I have seperated the CR
Scheduling service as a seperate job server form AJS.
My CR jobs are running fine however, I have 8 CPU on that machine but
in matrics page of Job server, it is showing
only 4 CPU. Why it is not showing all the 8 CPU?
does it mean that its limited to work for 4 CPU only.

Would it be possible that you have in fact 4 CPUs which are all dual cores?
So it's like you have 8 CPUs but in reality it's only 4 CPUs?

You need to sync the app to the iPod

Is the app compatible with your model iPod and iOS?
Are any Restrictions set that would prevent installing the app on your iPod? Settings>General>Restrictions
Do any apps no sync to the iPod?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Have you successfully synced aps to this iPod from this iTunes library before?

Ap not showing up in wlc

i have an AP that is not showing up in the wlc. when i place the WLC on a diffrent vlan to the WLC it shows up in the WLC but once it is placed on the same vlan to the WLC it dosnt show at all. the vlan the WLC on has spare IP's in DHCp so its not that. here is a log from wlc when that AP is not on the same Vlan:

client's are joinning up with the AP ( very odd??).
but once it is on the same vlan as the wlc it dosnt show up.

shows up on the switch for cdp but not on the wlc ( tested in diffrent vlans)
the ap is running
AIR-LAP1231G-A-K9
also the ap has an IP in the 1 vlan but when it goes to the 10 vlan ( the vlan with the wlc on it) in cdp neighbors it still have the ip from vlan 1

2x5760 running 3.6.0
mse appliance running 8.0.110.0
prime infra in VM running 2.2
ap - 3702I / E
problem:
wireless clients not showing on the prime floor maps.
what have done so far:
wlc synced with mse thru nmsp - check
wlc added to prime - check
mse added to prime - check
mse synced with wlc thru prime - check
all aps positioned on the maps - check
CAS enabled on mse - check
NTP configured to wlc , mse and prime - check
check time all synced
nmsp status in mse - active

troubleshooting done so far:
deleted then added mse on prime then resynced to wlc
reconfigured nmsp on wlc and resynced again with mse
rebooted mse - no avail
rebooted prime - no avail
reboot wlc - not an option coz theres a lot of users =)

Vlan and SSID not showing in AP Web Interface

We have a couple of APs that do not show the Vlans and SSIDs through the AP web interface. If you go to the SSID manager page in web interface, the page comes up but does not show any of the SSIDs configured. The same goes for Services - Vlan. That page comes up but does not show any Vlans configured. If you telnet to the APs, you see the listed mssid and all the SSID interfaces. The SSIDs on the APs are functional and working. This just makes it difficult to use the web interface for these APs. I have tried to compare running configs on APs where web interface is not showing this and on APs that it is showing but cannot see any differences.

Unsupported things are never documented. You can't possibly list all browsers that you don't support.
But if it's not mentionned clearly as supported then it means "it might work but we never tested with it".
Let us know how it goes with the 12.4.21

Lwapp 1242ag doesnt show mesh

I'm using a wlan controller with 1242ag converted to lwapp, i'm trying to enable 5.8 but when i change the from local to bridge the lwapp disapear from controler. Someone told me that the firmware does not support mesh !
I'm folowing the 4402 wlan manual at page 641

ITunes does not show up on apple tv 1st gen.

i have a 1st gen apple tv with the 160 gig HD. recently, it will not show the itunes site. Under teh movies tab there are my movies and trailers and that's it. Does anyone know how to get the itunes store back on apple tv?

My downloaded text sounds do not show up under the sounds tab in settings after installing 8.1.1. can someone help me please?

i downloaded a couple text tones and since installing 8.1.1, they will not show up under the sounds tab. in fact, they do not show up in my recent purchases on itunes, but when i go to buy them again, it says that i have already bought this tone. This was happening to me too but only for some of my songs. I have a mac so I dunno about PCs, but for most of my ringtones I had to create an ACC version in itunes to make them short enough then turn that into a m4r and those all worked fine. But if the song was already short enough and I didn't create an ACC version and just turned the original into a m4r, then it wouldn't appear in my itunes.
so if you're on a mac:
1. go to get info, options, pick when you want the song to start and end.
     Has to be pretty short to work, 30 second or less is good
     if it's already short enough that's fine
2. right click and click 'create ACC version'
     a copy with the length you put in will appear, drag that into a folder or whatever and just type in m4r where m4a would be
     still make an ACC version even if it's the right length
Hopefully this helps someone else.

Internet Streams in Playlists do not show up on Apple TV

I use the following setup:
- Apple TV MD199LL/A (Software 6.0.1) just updated to the latest
- iTunes 11.1.3 for Windows (from a Windows 7 x64)
- iTunes 11.1.3 for MAC (from a Apple MacBook Pro x64, Maverix)
Homesharing is turned on both computers
From both machines I share pictures, videos and music.
All photos, videos and music files are getting displayed on the Apple TV menu, and can be played.
All iTunes playlists from both machines are getting displazed on the Apple TV
BUT!
If a internet stream is added to a playlist, this entry does not show on the Apple TV menu.
If the playlist contains only internet streams the Apple TV menu says "There are no songs in this library"
If I hit the play key on my remote, it will randomly play the first stream in the playlist (not realy reproducable pattern)
I can play those streams in iTunes and send it via AirPlay without problems,
Can anyone help me with this and tell me what I'm doing wrong?

You can only view that rental on the iPad. For it to show up it has to be rented directly on ATV or through a computer and streamed via home sharing
