Mail 5.3 I sent a message to a friend however, when viewing it I discovered several other past emails attached to it that I did not intend to send. I was wondering want I may of done wrong. Thanks for any replies.

I get several thousand emails a day and have no issues. Sounds like either the mail account in Mail is configured incorrectly or the Exchange Server (I'm assuming you meant Exchange Server and not Outlook Server) needs a software update or may have a setting that doesn't play well with other mail clients.

No I have my own iPhone iPad and MacBook so everything is set up on devices that are mine and as far as I know I never connected to anyone else's device and logged with my apple ID. But are you saying it is possible for someone to have obtained my apple ID and send an iMessage from their device with my contact information so it looks like it came directly from me? I have tried unchecking the "Automatically check for updates" in the Software Update control panel. Of course, then you have to remember to check manually periodically for security updates etc. So far, the annoying banners seem to have stopped, but maybe just because I have not waited long enough for them to come back.

Your first theory may be correct.
If you haven't already, change your password on your .mac account. That will stop any further action by the other fellow. Even if you can't tease out the detail of what happened exactly, you can at least fix the problem with the password change.
Also if you left on good terms, contact the new owner of the workMac and ask if s/he used your .mac account.

That's only for the iPhone 5. On the 4 and 4S, they can repair the back glass in store for $30. They will not replace the display on a 4 or 4S. They must replace the entire phone. Replacing the display on them requires disassembling the entire phone, which they will not do in store.

Have your brother create a contact in his phone for himself. Inside his own contact, have him add his phone number and his iCloud address.
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive Have your brother select both his phone number and email addresses where he would like to receive iMessages.

It sounds like you have assigned the primary click on the trackpad to something else, perhaps a gesture.
Use your mouse, login and then open the Trackpad preference pane and see how you have the interface configured.
Oh and you can have both the Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad powered up and working at the same time. No need to keep moving batteries around.

Mail 3.5 says sent 2 messages per single message I send

Just noticed, that for every message I send, Mail says 2 messages sent. Did not notice this before, but very disconcerting. I tried using CLAMXAV to search for a virus, but non found. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Discussions.
If you are using an IMAP account, this is often noticed and normal, as Mail communicates with the Sent folder on the server. If you open the full Activity monitoring window (Window in the menubar/Activity) I think you will see a fuller description of the transmissions.

I'm Lion 10.7.3 on iMac and I use Mail as my mail manager.
My ISP (access , mails) is "VOO".
At mail I am often "over quota" because the server VOO grants only 40M. I would like to address this problem. I contacted VOO but they tell me not to know and do not appear to increase capacity at the moment.
My idea was:
- All messages received at the server VOO would be automatically transferred to another address (eg ................. @me.com, my address icloud) whose capacity is much greater.
- But the problem is that nothing is planned at the server level VOO to perform this maneuver!
- Therefore, I turn to you to ask yourself the question, one of you has it you an idea, a suggestion, a solution?
Any suggestion is welcome.

Voo is imap of course and does not provide the possibility of forwarder mails to another address.
Since I use MAIL and I receive messages without any problems sent to me on my address icloud (............... @me.com) I think to ask all in my address book to send me on my address on icloud. Is it a good idea?
Could you tell me how much space I have in icloud? 40M is the highest in VOO.
