Mail Feature Request: "Change spellcheck language" button

Hello
I am writing Emails in three different languages and find it very tedious in Mail to change the language of the spellcheck. For people living in the English speaking part of the world it is probably a feature not so often used, but in other parts of the world this might be different. Changing language once or twice is not so bad, but if you do it five times a day it really starts bugging you the way it works in Mail now.
I really wish Mail had a button somewhere where you could change the language with a simple mouse click. At least as an option to add to the button layout. Or as a submenu in the context click where you can choose the spellcheck language.

[Feature request] Changing the y-limit directly in a graph

Hi,
in the GUI, when using graphs, you can usually click on the ymin and ymax and change the values. This is not possible if LV decides to change which ticks on the axes are labeled.
It would be nice if the behaviour was consistent.

Change spellcheck language on Pages on Ipad

It has been discussed already, but there doesn't seem to be an answer regarding how to change the language for spellcheck on Pages on the Ipad? The only answer I have encountered is that you have to changel the whole Language setting in the whole Ipad, but that is really unpractical. Is Pages planning to fix this, is there already a new Pages version with this fixed? Ideally, we should be able to change the language within our document so you could easily make documents in different languages! Thanks if anybody can help me alittle here! Luis, from Mexico.

Feature Request: Changing the CS6 language to default English if owning a localized version.

So I own a de_DE localized version of CS6 Master, but I'd love to use it in English. I understand, that being able to change languages is a licensing concern and that it would be a little more complex to implent a "Change language" function to CS6.
But what I though about is: every application within the creative suite is based on an English version, just translated to another localization.
So why not being able to switch between localized language and default English? No matter which language I bought...
So you wouldn't have to implenent an in example "German to French" licensing/translation function, but only being able to disable the localizations through the whole suite. How about that?

am not using a Hebrew OS, but I am using an OS that has French
support. I actually tried this test on 8.6 and 8.5.1 and I was not
able to reproduce this issue.
To describe what I am doing in further detail:
When
you are in "French mode" indicated by an "FR in the Windows XP toolbar
below, you can predict what characters will appear when you press on
different keys. In other words, when I have FR on my toolbar and press
"w" on my French keyboard I get a "Char" value ASCII 119.
I
then press Alt+Shift to switch the keyboard to english which is then
"confirmed" by an EN in the Windows XP toolbar.
Pressing
the same W key of my French Keyboard will then give me a "Char" value
ASCII 122. Therefore I am not seeing this behavior because I am getting
the expected value from that key based on the OS' language setting.
What you are describing seems to be
more of Windows issue rather than a LabVIEW related issue, and I
highly doubt that it should only occur with Hebrew and not with other
languages. One
thing to note is that if you switch between different applications on a
Windows XP PC with many regional settings configured, the keyboard
setting seems to follow the application for the most part. Perhaps a
specific version of a Windows update has fixed a behavior where the
keyboard gets switched at some point within the same application (in
this case different LabVIEW windows).

Feature Request: Change Style - Style Set (word like)

I'm learning to use pages and there is a feature in word that I miss a lot.
It's the Change Style - Style Set
I want to change all the styles of my document, using the templates that I have installed in my machine, in a coherent way. In word I can do it with a button click. I really don't know how it is possible in Pages.

In Word there is something akin to the CSS style sheet, but not as comprehensive.
It lets you have stylesheet sets where the color, fonts, and various style elements can be swapped over for complete documents.
It is a nice idea but not complete, and typically for Microsoft, the examples they offer are ugly.
Pages could usefully rip this off and improve on it. That would make Pages '12 or '20 a truely great and useful upgrade.

Change spellchecker language, not keyboard

On an iPad can one change the spell checker language, independantly of the keyboard layout? This is particularly relevant if using a Bluetooth keyboard (as the mapping cannot be changed).

I am using an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard with French layout and wish to type in English. The problem is that if I select "French" as the keyboard layout then, the spell checking is in French (and means auto-correction makes for a French word being entered) or, by selecting "English" as the keyboard layout then the spell checking is in English but the keys are not mapped the same way. This means, fir example, that hitting the "y" key on the Bluetooth keyboard will enter a "z" onto the iPad.

Feature request: refresh app server button

I would like to put in for a button, next to "restart server" that would basically have the effect of touching (updating timestamp) on the nitrox-application.xml file that jboss sees. That has the effect of forcing jboss to reloan the webapp without having to restart all of jboss (slow).
I am doing this now by simply adding whitespace in the xml file and saving it.

Feature request -- change tooltip font size

The tooltip font size is rather small for those of us needing reading glasses or with limited vision. At the very least the tooltip font size should be changeable under the "Accessability" options. Anyone know a way to work around this? External script? Plug-in?

Feature Request: intuative live preview button

Every singe ******* time.
I click "Live Preview" only to see the message, "Open an HTML file in order to launch live preview," because I happen to have a CSS or JS file selected.
I'd love to have the app be a little smarter and make an educated guess about which HTML I'd like to preview. Is there's only 1 HTML at the root? Show that. Have I already previewed an HTML during this same session? Show that. If not, then tell me I'm an idiot.

Feature Request: MW1 Wireless Headset Pro - Make Button configuarable

Hi Sony Support,
I'm using the MW1 in combination with my Xperia V and I'm pretty happy with it besides one thing which is actually really annoying. The round button next to the display diconnects the current call on short press or puts it on hold on a long button press.
I would rather like to use that button for mute/unmute as I'm stuck in a lot of conference calls and it would save me a lot of trouble when I could mute or unmute myself from the headset. Without this option I'm force to take out my my phone and do it there which is pretty inconvinient especially if you use the phone "on the go" running over an airport or to a train.
With my cabled headset the button on the mike just toggles mute/unmute, so switching between both when the battery is out I'm disconnecting a lot by accident :smileywink:
I looked for some mail to send a feature request but didn't find any so I'll try my luck here.
I would love to see an option to reconfigure the buttons behavior, like a software on the phone where I could select one of the following options for
- short press: Disconnect, Re-dial last inbound/outbound number, toggle Mute/Unmute
- double short press: Disconnect, Re-dial last inbound/outbound number, toggle Mute/Unmute
- long press: Disconnect, Re-dial last inbound/outbound number, toggle Mute/Unmute

Hi, can I also ask for old very nice feature to be returned to the current version of the software (0.1.E and above). Back in version 0.1.D.. and below you do not need to select media source (SD Card selection) when you need to listen or view media from the phone. I am using Xperia Arc S. Before when you press play in the phone it automatically switches the MW1 and you can hear the audio from the phone without manual intervention. When there is music currently playing from MW1's sd card, it automatically pause the playback then you can hear the audio from the phone then when you are through with the media on the phone, MW1 automatically resume playing from the SD Card. The feature is very convinient it do not need for me to install SMS notification apps. You can even hear the keyboard clicks if its not configured to be silent.
Many of us are looking for this feature when it is taken out during the introduction of the update.

Feature request - 'shadow' settings for changing locked VM settings

I have a possible idea for you that I know I would find helpful. I understand that certain VM settings can't be changed while the VM is running. I would love to be able to make the change so that next time the VM restarts, it can first have those settings
changed for me before starting up again. That way, I could make the change (although it would tell me it couldn't be changed right now), and schedule the computer to restart sometime overnight, so that I don't have to either a) get up at 3am to do it manually
or b)work out what powershell command to run which would shut the machine down, make the changes, then start it up again - and hope that I'd done it correctly :-)
I hope this is a useful feature request. Generally very happy with all the improvements you keep making, thanks.

I like that as a feature for those who manage via GUI. It would be possible to create script to accomplish the same thing and then schedule the script for execution later. But for GUI users, it makes sense to me.
I think the forums would be a good place for putting feature suggestions. It could easily be a Sticky post that would always appear at the top of the forum. Anyone with an idea for a new feature could add a post to the Stickey post, and
Microsoft PM's could just read that Sticky post from time to time. And, the built in Vote capability would allow other forum readers/contributors the ability to vote on it if they like it. It would be a useful Sticky post on any product forum.

I see there were several missteps both by the reps and yourself in your post. First you should have insisted on returning the phone within the 14 day return policy period. Second which Samsung Galaxy mini model did you purchase? The S3 mini or the S4 mini? Did you do any research prior to deciding on this device. The reps at that time deflected the easiest course of action, by trying to get you to replace the phone under insurance instead of returning the phone. The Early Edge payment option requires the current phone on the line using the early Edge must be returned to Verizon Wireless. Did you once considered going to a third party site like Swappa to purchase a gently used device for your daughter?

Changing Preferred Language leaves Mail.app's FLAGS menu showing the last non-English language

After changing the System's Preferred Language to FRANCAIS, then back again to BRITISH ENGLISH, I've found that the FLAGS menu of MAIL.APP will not change back to ENGLISH.
e.g.
- I change the Preferred Language setting to FRANCAIS,
- I restart Mail.app.
- I change the Preferred Language setting to BRITISH ENGLISH
- I restart Mail.app.
The Flags menu is still in FRANCAIS. Every other menu is using the correct language
- I then change the Preferred Language to ESPANOL
- I restart Mail.app
- I change the Preferred Language setting to BRITISH ENGLISH
The Flags Menu is now in ESPANOL.
It seems I can change the FLAGS menu to anything other than ENGLISH or BRITISH ENGLISH.
Rebooting between changes and/or leaving Mail.app open or closed seems to make no difference.
It's quite annoying as I make extensive use of keyboard shortcuts to flag emails....!
Any clues?

I should point out that every other menu is changing correctly to reflect the Preferred Language. It is just the FLAGS menu that is not changing to english.
