Anyone know if "Step 3 - Return / Product return pending" can be tracked?

  • Mail in repair ipod nano

    For some stupid reason, (now I am regretting it), I decided to submit a repair request for my ipod nano that is out of warranty to get the broken screen repaired.  I went through their self service pages and entered the information including credit card info to pay for the service.  I selected the "Apple sends you a box and you use it to return the product to Apple" option.  When I received my confirmation email the instructions on it do not mention anything like "when you receive your box...", the way it reads to me is that I need to find a box to ship it in and then take it somewhere to be shipped.  I pasted the exact verbiage from the email below.  Has anyone had experience with this mail in repair service?  It has been 2 days, the option when I signed up says in "1 to 2 business days after you finalize this service request you will receive a box with instructions...", does anyone know if and when to expect it?  The confirmation email also mentions if they don't receive it within 10 business days, the repair will be canceled, does this mean I won't be charged or will Apple (since their terms say they don't give refunds) keep the money?  Of course the status page on the support site is totally worthless.
    Anyone have any ideas?

    How many time i have to wait when repair status says: "January 25, 2012: Product replacement pending" ???
    I'm from Venice(italy) and i've just shipped the ipod.
    The Status Repair says:
    Step 1 Request
    January 25, 2012: Product received     
    Shipped via UPS with tracking number ...
    Step 2 Service
    January 25, 2012: Issue identified
    Step 3 Return
    January 25, 2012: Product replacement pending

    They should have sent you a tracking number in another email.  If nothing else, give Apple support a call and get the tracking number that way.

  • Repair status at the depot

    It's been a month since the repair depot received my laptop. Well after a week had passed I called the depot to ask about the laptop repair status, but was told that there was (probably) a delay on parts delivery. This was something  could have assumed from the repair status website. After two weeks had passed, I called again. I got the same reply. After three weeks, I was told that the laptop had been officially put on hold for parts near the end of the second week. Then I was told that my case had been "escalated." Then I was told to call the next day (Monday) from 8am-8pm, when the depot was open so that I could talk to one of the representatives. However, it was only when I called (6pm) that I learned that the "case manager"'s shift was from 8am-5pm. So I waited til the next day to call. This person told me that my laptop had been sent to an "order desk," because the repairs on my laptop had taken too long they would supposedly search for an alternative. I was supposed to expect a call from these people one to two days later. (this was last week) 
    In the following one to two days later I got a call saying that the repair on the laptop would be finished by Tuesday.
    I just called today (Tuesday) to inquire into the repairs status, and was basically told that it is still waiting for parts. In other words, the situation hadn't changed one bit. When I asked to speak to the case manager, I was sent to an interactive voice response line instead.
    This repair is taking far too long for me to be finishing my schoolwork on time, and I have no idea as to whether my computer is really being repaired or not. In the past I have sent my laptop to the repair depot where they kept it for around a week and sent it back. They never actually fixed the problem and I'm afraid of what the outcome is going to be this time.

    After reading your post. I am in argeement with you. I am also in agreement with Bmurray, we are a user-to-user forum.
    I know you want to warn, however, here is a link for your to post your complaint and comments to Toshiba directly at the hightest level I could find.

  • IDOC Status, Tracking in SAP PI/PO Single Stack

    Hi All,
    My PO version: 7.4, SP4. I am not sure my questions below are still a limitation in current PI/PO single stack systems, and hence requesting your help for the same.
    1) Is there a way we can track outbound idocs in SAP PI/PO single stack similar to PI abap stack IDX5? ( Note:- I couldn't find any option in IDOC monitoring in single stack SAP PO 7.4, SP4)
    2) IDOC status is always 0 in SAP PO 7.4 single stack IDOC monitoring. I am not sure if this status is just specific to my PO system. Any setting needs to be applied?
    ps: Please post only relevant answers/solutions

  • Just received my 3th iPod from mail-in repair, and afraid to use it.

    I bought my iPod in june 2005. I remember having trouble putting music on it for the first time. After i had put some songs on it RealPlayer showed that there was memory taken, but didnt show any songs on it. I dont remember how, but i solved it and my iPod worked.
    Till september. I started it up with the apple symbol one time. And i got the language selection screen first, and then i saw that all my music was GONE! I took it back to the shop where i bought it (no apple store, just a random one). They tried to reset it, but they told me that it got stuck while trying. So they mailed in repaired it for me. And i got a new one that worked properly!
    But in november, it started to get stuck while playing songs, i reset my iPod with the menu and middle button every time it happened. It happened more and more, and in december i got the sad iPod symbol for th first time. But sometimes it worked again, so i listened to it for maybe 2 more weeks. In those 2 weeks i got the sad iPod symbol loads of times. And for the second time, all my music got deleted! (I looked this up on the apple support site, and that isn't supposed to happen all of a sudden!!!! So why does it happen to me TWO times????)
    After those two weeks I went to the support site and did everything there. reset it, format it, install the new software etc. No use.
    most of the times my computer got stuck when i attached my iPod to it.
    So i mailed in repaired that one too.
    Now I have a new one. But i dont want it to go sad and messed up again! What is wrong with me! why do all MY iPods break?
    I would very much like to know what I do wrong before i'm going to use my new iPod to make sure this one lasts!
    Can anyone help me? Is it my computer? Is it because i use RealPlayer? Or do i just attracted iPods with production failyers?

    It is showing 'Repair' status, as you are trying to make modifications to
    either 1) a standard object using Access Key or 2) a semi-standard object which will not ask  for a Access Key.
    In case 1 & 2, the object / application would be developed by SAP.
    In the 2nd case, you can do the customizing change provided you are sure that the application is used only for 1 purpose.
    If it is used across projects, then the changes you are making will be affecting other's outputs also.
    In that case, what you can do is copy the standard / semi-standard application and make the changes in your new custom application.
    In some cases you will have to make some customizing changes to direct the control to the custom application rather than standard application.
    It is always recommended to avoid any repairs being transported.
    While SAP applies any patches, your changes to the object might get overwritten.
    Please let us know if it answers your query.

    i had to call in for a mail in repair and after i did that my friend helped me fix the problem i was having and now my phone works fine .
    so i have to send my hpeon back and keep the replacement or can i just send the replacement phone back instead of mine?
    or should i call and cancel the whole thing

  • Can't check the repair status

    Hi,
    My iPhone 5S died last Saturday, it just doen't turn on or it's able to charge the battery. I took it to the Madrid's Apple Store Sol where they check the unit and gave me a paper with the repair details (to change the unit basically)
    That was 5 days ago and it's impossible to check the status on the web, it says something like "the system cannot provide a status".
    - I've called the Apple Care support number with no luck as they cannot access the status either
    - I've tried to contact on several ocasion and for several minutes ( I have even learnt that you are disconnected after 20 minutes on the call queue) no one is picking up the calls at the Apple Store.
    - Finally I've visited the Store and they could only tell me (after waiting for an hour) that the new phone had not arrived (although when I opened the repair they told me that it should take no more than 2-3 days)
    Is there any way to know how long is going to take them and the current status?

  • BPS - Status & Tracking

    Hello,
    I am using status & tracking for planning.
    I have configured the tracking as per the how to document, assigned users for each level, the time for planning etc.
    But the problem is even after the specified time the user is able to edit data although the the sheets should be locked.
    Also once any user is submitted the sheets, ideally it should get locked but still he can reopen it and work on the sheet.
    Probably I am missing something. Could anybody please tell what needs to be done for locking the sheets.

       We also had a similar situation and we realised that the following has to be done :
       Under STS Customisation (txn.: BPS_TC), you need to define the header characteristics (this is under the radio button - "Define header Chars forPlanning Session"). Here we had to define the Sub Plan and the Planning Round as selection criteris. What we experienced prior to providing this was that it was possible to change the budget/Plan figures even after the budget was approved. Providing this in the selection criteria helped in the "locking" of a Cost Center budget figures(STS uses the Sub Plan together with the Cost center for locking purposes)
       Try this if it works .

  • Shipping status tracking in B2B with out XSI

    Hi Gurus,
    We are implementing the the standard B2b application with ECC6.0 as the backend.
    We are not using XSI fuctionality in ECC to get the information of the shipping status.
    But they still get the the tracking number (VL02n) in to the ECC. Now We need to get this Information Into B2B shop for status tracking.
    Do we need to XSI to be enabled to bring the tracking Information into B2B?
    How can we do this with out XSI?
    Can we still use the tables TCAURL , TCAVAR with out creating the Express Delivery companny.
    If this need total customization can some one run me through the steps on how we can achive this.

    When you tracking number, I hope you mean the Airway Bill Number or Bill of Lading that is seen in transaction "Edit Delivery" vl02n.
    The display of the delivery number is a standard feature of the B2B Webshop. This will be displayed at the item level.
    However, the bill of lading to be displayed is not standard. There is development required in both, ABAP and JAVA (ISA) level.
    We had implemented this in CRM ISA, so we had to use a Custom FM (RFC) by using a standard BAPI to return the Airway Bill Number when it was provided the delivery number as the input.
    Further, the JAVA web page that displays the order status has to be modified to call your custom RFC.
    This is the basic path for the solution.
