simulate rule if it applies to your requirement. If not, replicate the standard then add the changes so it will be inclined to your requirement.

  • RSPPFPROCESS - mail not triggering for incorrectly processed PO

    Hi All,
I tried executing the RSPPFPROCESS by giving a variant but I am not able to get the details of any incorrectly processed purchase orders in the output.
The RSPPFPROCESS  program functions in such a way that if a PO is unsuccessfully processed, then on executing the RSPPFPROCESS program with status "Unsuccessfully Processed" a mail will be triggered to the creators whose POs were incorrectly processed.
But this is not happening in my case, the mail is not getting triggered at all.
    The variant details are:
    Application : BBP_PD
    Action Profile : BBP_PD_PO
    Action Definition : STANDARD_PO
    Promotion status : 2 (ie)incorrectly processed
    Processing type : MET
Time of Processing : Processing when saving document
The radio buttons: Ignore "Repeat" flag and Ignore "Generated Manually" flag are checked.
The check box "Number of Actions Outputted" is checked.
    Please help.
    Thanx in advance.
    Regards,
    Mary Catherine

    Hello Prasath,
Please check your configuration on ERP/ECC
side in transaction SWETYPV. Here you can enable or disable the
event type linkage for BUS2012 and for CL_SE_PUR_PO_WF_OUT or any
customer-specific business object related to Purchase Orders which might
be in use. If you disable the event linkage for CREATE and/or change
event, no message will be triggered upon PO creation.
If this is not sufficient for your business process the usual logic is
that all Purchase Order message are being sent out when the event
linkage is active (e.g. you want to send out only some of the message
types possible). In this case you might want to make use of BAdI
    PUR_SE_PO_INTERFACE_OUT_SELECT (enhancement spot / BAdI)."
    Enhancement Spot: PUR_SPOT_SE_PURCHASE_ORDER
    BAdI Definition:  PUR_SE_PO_INTERFACE_OUT_SELECT
    Interface:        IF_PUR_SE_PO_IF_OUT_SELECT
    BADI definition   PUR_APPL_SE_POCONF_IN_ASYN
Also in the standard, for the following messages
       PurchaseOrderChangedInformation_Out
       PurchaseOrderERPRequest_Out_V1
       PurchaseOrderERPConfirmation_Out
we are sending out these information as soon as a purchase Order is
created. We do not distinguish between the services all of them will be
    triggered.
    Hope this hepls

  • HT5381 i did a software update and now mail wont open at all

Help......my mail app is coming up with an error "You can't use this version of Mail with this version of Mac OS X".  Can I uninstall the update?

    !! WARNING !!
    about the September 2012
    "Security Update 2012-004"
If you've got "Mail.app" in a folder OTHER THAN the root "Applications" folder,
MOVE "MAIL.APP" TO THE APPLICATIONS FOLDER
    **BEFORE** INSTALLING THE "004" UPDATE!!
Because *IF* you use OSX's integrated Software Update app from the Apple menu to do the "004" updating, and *IF* your Mail.app is NOT in the Applications folder, then buddy, you've got some sitdown fixit time ahead of ya and/or some internet tie-up time downloading the "004" update file itself.
Been through it all, already.  In fact, just got done getting my Mail back up & running. And I tried everything short of attempting to unpacking my "Mail.pkg" receipt file using... whatever... even Pacifist couldn't get it out. So that fixit "Plan D" died quick. And I'm not savvy enough to use Terminal commands to do "Plan E," so that SUDO stuff was my brick wall.
So I compressed my entire "Mail" subdirectory that contain all my emails, for safekeeping during the required surgery, or whatever would work, leaving the original Mail directory where it was. In case something bad happened in all my fixit whatevers, the one thing I *didn't* want to cross paths with was a hosed Library -> Mail folder. Then I'd be pssd. But I can wipe out that ZIP now 'cause all's well now. After 6 hrs of downloading thru a mobile broadband hotspot running at only 14KB/sec speed due to my having gone over my T-Mobile hotspot plan's bandwidth amount (throttled-down after reaching the limit, tho not cut off completely. Kinda nice, but it's a huge speed drop).
I tried moving the two Mail.app versions around, compressing them & then trashing the original so they wouldn't be recognized, blabla, even booted my Mac in Safe Mode & reinstalled the "MacOSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) Update Combo.dmg" update file, which in the past has fixed many problems. But after restarting, not this one.
Like a dummy who ignored knowing better, I had my Mail.app in a folder other than the Applications folder, with only an alias to that being in the Applications folder. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. The updater don't see that as nuthin special or useful.
So if you've got, like I've got, "old" icons for Mail.app (v4.5) in your Finder toolbar & in your Dock that all point to "Mail.app v4.5" in whatever folder you've got that in, other than in the Applications folder (where Apple apparently REQUIRES that it be located, and ONLY there, at least for OSX updating purposes), then after you download & autorun that "004" updater using Software Update, NONE of your pre-existing Mail icons will work. And MOST aggravatingly, **NOR** will your brand-new "Mail.app v4.6" work that came out of the "004" updating installation.  So basically, your Mail.app's... all of 'em.... are hosed. But only if you run the "004" update without your "Mail.app v4.5" being located in your Applications folder and ONLY in your Applications folder. And duplicates of Mail.app, scattered around your HDD??  Always a problem with many Apple apps.... The Apple software engineers apparently like 'em to be in the Applications folder, and in ONLY there, and ONLY the latest version, and ONLY 1 single copy of each on your entire HDD. They just don't seem to stress that enough, it appears. Kind of an oversight for them to not emphasize that, IMO...
My recommendation for this particular September 2012 "004" update:
If you run Software Update, and if you see the "Security Update 2012-004" listed as available for download, UNCHECKMARK IT.  DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT USING SOFTWARE UPDATE !  Instead, download the actual update file itself.
Same thing, only a different way of doing it. Most importantly, you'll be skipping the auto-installation that Software Update performs.
AND you'll have that update file on your HDD for future fixits, should a nasty "unfixable" problem come up.
First, #1. Do a filename search for "Mail" (Option-Command-Spacebar). Scroll down to where the "Apps" are located in the list under the "Kind" column heading. First, find your Mail.app that's v4.5. Get that bugger into your Applications folder if it's not already there. Next, Trash all other "Mail.app" apps you see in that same list that you may have elsewhere on your HDD.
    #2. Go here: https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1586
And download the actual "004" DMG update file: "SecUpd2012-004.dmg"
And of course, it's a biggie.... 270MB... so watching grass grow may be involved here if you've got a slow connection (go to a MacDonalds & do it, like I shoulda done).
    3. After downloading, I'd recommend closing down all apps, emptying the Trash, and restarting.
Then, after restarting, run Disk Utility's "Repair Disk Permissions."
Then, doublecheck that the Mail.app version 4.5 is in your Applications folder.
THEN fire up & install "SecUpd2012-004.dmg."
    Reboot.
After the reboot, your Mail.app version 4.5 in the Applications folder will have become Mail.app version 4.6 in the Applications folder, and all will be well again.
And you can dump that zipped-up "Username -> Library -> Mail" folder then, too.
    Happy Mac'in!

Regarding my mail site, I placed all my family emails in a "family" folder.  Today it was gone.  How can I retrieve my family folder?

you should look in your applications folder to see if mail is still there. the dock icon is pointing to mail being in your applications folder. it has probably been moved or deleted for some reason from the app folder. do a spotlight search for your mail program. if it is still on your computer, move it back to the applications folder and when you click the question mark, it should see it is back and open. The email folder in your library shouldn't have to be touched. you need mail.app itself.

  • Mail not working at all

Ever since I installed Leopard, my Mail application has stopped working. I've had a friend walk me through my mail preferences, and they all seem fine, but when ever I go to Mail, it won't open up any window, it won't go to my me.com account, and it won't even quit. I have to Force Quit to get out of it. Of course, I can access my MobileMe via Safari or Firefox, but it would be nice to access it with Mail. Any ideas? Is there such a thing as a "reset" or reinstall of the Mail application only?

Thanks again for your response, Barry.
I bought the Leopard OS at the beginning of the year and installed it in March. Prior to that I was using the latest version of Tiger, which was running beautifully. I held off because I'd heard there'd be issues with the Pro Apps I use regularly when I install a new OS, so I waited till there was a lull in my work. At the time I was using AOL for emails and was transitioning to a mac.com account (which Apple was transitioning to me.com). In fact I've had other problems with Leopard in relation to my use of Final Cut Studio that I didn't have with Tiger, but the only problem I don't seem to have a solution for is this Mail issue.
So how do I go about going through the setup procedure for Mail?
Also, I do have an OSX 10.5.7 update ready to be installed, but usually I wait a few weeks or even a couple of months till I hear from friends and colleagues that the update isn't going to adversely affect the Pro Apps I use, because Apple often seems to jump the gun with their releases.
Sorry to be so longwinded, but with all that said, what do you recommend?

  • Mail crashed and lost all accounts

Mail just crashed, and whern I restated, it went back to defaults and all my accounts except .Mac have disappeared. My mailboxes are intact, except all mail in my inbox has disappeared. I know this info has to be on my HD somewhere, where do I find it and how do I get it back?

    Hello David.
What is your hard drive capacity and available free space?
As a firs step, check this link for system troubleshooting procedures and when doing so, follow all steps/instructions in the order provided:
    http://www.thexlab.com/faqs/repairprocess.html
When completed and with the Mail.app quit, using the Finder go to Home > Library > Mail. Copy the Mail folder and place the copy on the Desktop for backup purposes.
If you have limited free hard drive space - well less than 5GB available, do not place the copy of the Mail folder on the Desktop - this needs to be place on an external drive or anywhere else.
Using the Finder go to Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.mail.plist. Delete the com.apple.mail.plist file and empty the Trash.
Note: Deleting the com.apple.mail.plist file will require re-entering all email account information when relaunching Mail with the exception of your .Mac account.
Launch Mail and decline any prompt to import mailboxes.
After re-entering all other email account information the same as before, the Mail.app should rediscover the existing account named folders and mailboxes within the Mail folder at Home > Library > Mail.
After confirming all mailboxes were successfully rediscovered and all messages are available, you can delete the copy of the Mail folder.

The genius bar technicians can check your MBP for possible hardware problems and specific software issues that you may have.  The diagnosis will be free.  Any extensive repairs will not be free.
If you have minor software problems, you essentially will have to deal with them yourself.  Examine these two comprehensive documents for possible problem definition and solutions.  If you encounter problems that you are unable to cope with, start a new discussion and there will be persons willing to assist you in solving them.

  • Mail rules accidentally deleted all of my emails. How to restore?

    Alright, here goes.
I tried to set up af number of rules in my Mail application (just the standard one), that would delete some "subscribtion emails" that I never read anyways. And no, it's not spam.
BUT, I accidentally forgot to set the "any" criteria to "all", which means it all of a sudden deleted all mails with my email address as recipent. How can I restore them? They do NOT appear in my "Deleted messages"!
Also, is it really true that such a simple user mistake, can cause the user to lose highly important emails? I mean... It's like one click away from utter and permanent removal of the emails. If that's the case, I am really disappointed in Apple. I know I made a mistake, but forgetting to set "any" to "all" is something I feel anyone can do on accident, since it's on "any" as default. And it just applies the rule to the whole mailbox! I had no chance to stop it, and now my mails are gone. Important ones from the government, tax-mails, receipts... all just gone.
And no... I do not have a backup of those mails. I am without a time machine harddisk, and I honestly thought that deleted mails would appear in the "deleted mails" folder on iCloud, but they do not. The rules must have deleted those two, even though I have no idea why and how that should be possible.
And yes, the emails are gone from ALL of my devices, and not just the Mac... even iCloud.com does not have any trace that they even existed.
Please help, I know I haven't been smart about it, but permanently deleting such a large amount of emails, without warning or recovery method, simply should not be possible!
Any support is highly appreciated. I am looking at a world of s*** if I can't recover some of these important emails. Thank you in advance!
And here's a smiley, so you know that I am normally a very happy guy, and so you also know that I will be immensely joyful and appreciative of your help

Yeah, I don't think you should be disappointed with Apple. It's definitely not their fault. Only yours. Sorry to be frank, but "Any" and "All" conditionals are very obvious, and I have never made this mistake. I am not sure what you would want Apple to do to prevent this -- make an alert box come up saying "You are choosing Any which means when you do this your rule will apple to Any of the conditions you set". That would just annoy us other users that already understand what All and Any mean.
My point is that you should study the manuals and very good knowledge before you attempt at anything with your mac especially creating Mail Rules that will automatically delete emails.
You don't do backups which is also very strange and you should learn how to do them, as this is very important if anything happens to your computer at a later date, as you've just experienced.

  • Mail server automatically cc all email for user to other acct but group...

Back on April 2007, David_X answered this question:
How to have the mail server automatically cc all e-mail for user to other accounts, (gmail, hotmail, etc). Here is the old post that explains that:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=4357149&#4357149
What I did not catch at the time was if you setup a Group, one of three ways, the cc step no longer works. There is a fourth way but it is not practical. Creating local groups on individual Macs.
    *Group method 1 per David_X:*
Use edited group files on the server.
The following sends to members of groups but does not show all recipients in the received message...
    In /etc/postfix/aliases, add...
    groupname: :include:/path/to/groupname.txt
In a file called groupname.txt (using plaintext editor)...
    [email protected]
    [email protected]
    Reload aliases...
    sudo newaliases
    sudo postalias aliases
    sudo postfix reload
Mail sent to [email protected] gets passed to amavisd once, before then being relayed out for each individual recipient.
    *Group method 2 per David_X:*
    Make a user, e.g., "accounts"
In mail settings, select 'Forward' option and enter the group members' email addresses, comma separated e.g.,
    [email protected],[email protected]
This gets a bit 'long' for lots of members.
The email then gets sent to each of the people in this list.
*Group method 3 that I just discovered:*
Create a group in Workgroup Manager.
Drag the users you want in it.
    Save.
    Test sending to that group.
Best part, the group name shows up in Address Book if you have LDAP setup.
So I have setup all three. If I send an email to any type of group, they work.
    The problem:
If one of those members in the group also has a BCC setup to Gmail or any other outside email, they never get the e-mail copied out to the external account.
    Example:
I send an email to [email protected]. He gets the email there and also a copy at his Gmail account.
If I send an email to the Sales group that jsmith belongs to, he gets the email there but nothing at the Gmail account.
It looks like the mail server processes the "aliases" file and skips the "Recipient_bcc" file that handles the forwards.
Is there a way to have my cake and eat it too? David_X your thoughts also?
    Thanks everyone!

    Bump.
Short version. Sales guy has a Gmail account he wants his e-mail copied to also.
Send e-mail directly to his Xserve account, he gets it there and it gets sent on to his Gmail account.
Send an e-mail to the sales Group that he is a member of, he gets it there but it never gets sent out to the Gmail account.
    Ideas?

  • Mail Setup - Gmail - Show All - Local Folders - IMAP - Yosemite - Am I set up properly?

    Hi All
I recently moved to Yosemite on a recently acquired rMBP - and after a little fun setting up Mail I seem to be settled in. However whilst experiencing some Mail / Gmail issues (now sorted) I read how other people are setup - and I am now wondering if my setup is incorrect or rather 'not how it should be done'. I access my email via my rMBP and an iPhone using IMAP. I am currently set up thus:
    1) I have three mailboxes / email addresses provided by Virgin Media - these are actually Gmail accounts
    2) I have a series of folders / sub folders 'On My Mac' which is where I move / store my emails once dealt with that I want to keep
    3) I have the 'Show All Mail' label set to hide in Gmail - and 'Show in IMAP' for this label is unchecked
    4) I have the mailbox behaviour in Mail set thus for all accounts:
I have found using this setup I have no problems with duplicate messages in Mail or the Gmail portal that others seem to have experienced - and when I move messages to 'On My Mac' folders - or delete them in Mail they disappear from the Gmail inbox and are moved to Gmail's Bin / Trash in Mail as desired. Gmail is also keeping all of my sent mail on their servers. This way I am using a fraction of my Gmail storage space - hence plenty of space to carry on like this for some years. I backup my email locally - including the inboxes and sent mail which I assume are safe anyway on Gmail's servers.
Is this a suitable setup - am I missing something by doing it this way?
    Many thanks

    Hi Eric
Thanks for looking over my setup and allaying my concerns
I had wondered about setting up folders (labels on Gmail) to take the place of my folders 'On My Mac'. However having three different email addresses - and some mail from each of those going into the same local folder - I thought this could end up in a mess - unless it's possible to share a 'label' across email accounts...
I have around 3Gb in local folders - so plenty of room if I wanted to do that. I suppose it would give me access to those folders on my iPhone if it worked properly - and provide another backup online.
I guess I just wanted to keep it simple as I have seen plenty of people fighting to get Gmail / Mail talking properly.
    Thanks again.

  • SUS - MM Scenario: notification mail not sent to all Supplier Users

    Hi,
we're in a SUS-MM scenario and we publish Purchasing documents (PO and/or SAR) to SUS portal.
The notification mail for new published documents are sent only to the e-mail address of the Supplier (imported from SAP to SUS) which is in the SAP Supplier Master data. But if the Admin supplier creates other users for the supplier (F1 / F2 / F3), the notification mail for new published PO/SAR are not sent to the mail address of F1 / F2 / F3 users. Is it the standard behavior or is there some missing customizing setting missing?
Our customer wants that notification mail are sent to all the mail addresses of the Supplier Users.
Has someone had this kind of requirement? and, if it is not achievable via standard customizing, which could be the right solution to meet this requirement?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
This is a standard SAP process which SAP has provided,
The other way is to develop a custom program,
    1) Select the Supplier.
    2) Check the available contact persons of the Supplier.
    3) When a document is created in ECC (Hope you are in MM-SUS), select the list of contact persons for Supplier. (I assume need a RFC FM to develop to SUS)
    4) Send a e-mail to all users linked with this Supplier.
You can find the linked Contact persons in BP transaction and Table BUT000.
Please change the Status of the Issue once your problem solved, other will get benefitted. If possible post the soulution.
    Thank you,
    Anil
