Mail via the postage stamp not working
HELP, my mail stopped working yesterday. I have 10.2.4 and have been using the "stamp" to receive and send mail successfully.
I have communicated with Verison (ISP) and changed my password and aligned all my settings accordignly in mail preferences. One odd thing in preferences however, is that at the toggle for the outgoing portion, it won't let me say just outgoing.verizon.net, but keeps adding on outgoing.verizon.net: my name. I go in to try to change the incoming side, and only with :my name will it it lt me do so. I go back to try to change it to just outgoing.verizon.net, and it erasas the data on the in the other "user name" and "password" dialogue boxes that appear after I click on the "options" button. Which then prevents me from being able to use it at all.
Thus there is something weird going between the toggle for outgoing.verizon.net. , and the dialogue boxes after I click on the "options" button. Please help if anyone can.
If you have successfully moved to iCloud your ability to send/receive email via the "postage stamp icon" (more commonly known as Apple's "Mail" application) will not disappear when MobileMe shuts down as you are already using iCloud.
RSS feeds are a feature of the Apple Mail application, not of iCloud or MobileMe. Nothing there will change.

Send mail in the portal does not work
Hi guys
I have a portal installation, where notification mails are not sent,
and I can't find the reason. If I try to send a mail via the "Send email"
on a users business card, I get the error: "The mail could not be
sent to the specified recipients".
I have created an email transport (JavaMailTransport), where I refer
to the preconfigured Exchange system (found in System Administration
System Configuration > Portal Content > Content Provided by SAP >
Collaboration > Exchange) and "localhost" as SMTP server. Then on the Internet
Information Server, we have set up a virtual smtp server.
From the trace file, I get:

please check all details and links given in Error: when trying "send To" in KM folder.
If nothing helps, additionally check if you can get some more exception information from the log viewer (stack trace). As Andreas suggested, if nothing helps or brings up a new idea, open an OSS message. In this case, please come back with the results.

I updated my Mac to Maver now i cannot retrive my mail from the "postagestamp" it tries to downlosd but Mail index has been damaged. Say it will repair itself next time I open mai.l B ut does not. Help!

Do you mean the red icon with a number in it on the postage stamp icon on your iMac?
If so that red flag with a number denotes the number of unread emails you have. If you have read them on your IPhone there is no need to flag them as unread on the postage stamp on the iMac.
I take it you get the emails on the iMac? -

Mail.app is one app and Thunderbird is an entirely distinct app. It has nothing in common with Mail.app other than it being just another mail program. It also won't just automatically replace your existing mail program. Just like mail.app you need to configure it's preferences for the desired mail server, account(s), etc.
I've never used Thunderbird but if it's a halfway civilized mail program then it should also give you the choice of leaving the mail on your server. So you could test it out without removing the mail on your server and Mail.app should be none the wiser. -
i can connect to internet and e mail via wi fi , however not out with these. I have just moved from i phone 3 to 4s is it the settings?
Let me see if I understand correctly, you can access the Internet and email when on wifi, however when not on wifi, none of this works? Is this correct? If so, do you have a data plan with your carrier? Do you have cellular data turned on in Settings? When you look at your carrier in the upper left corner, do you see a signal, carrier name, and then 3G, 4G or LTE displayed? Have you contacted your carrier about this?

Hi - I created a form in Adobe Livecycle and have a button on it to send the form via email. the button did not work and i looked online and saw where you could change it to a regular button and enter the email for it to go. it worked, but only for those with adobe pro. i could not get it to work with reader. is there a way i can make it work for reader?

I sent my WRT1900AC V1 to Linksys four days ago (Monday) via UPS with a RMA. Linksys paid the shipping and everything. The router is still in route, and it should arrive to their offices tomorrow. Once they receive the WRT1900 AC V1, they are going to send me an EA8500 as a replacement. But I have been reading the comments about the EA8500 here in the forum and it seems to have the same problems. I guess the firmware is extremely flawed in both routers (maybe it is almost the same code?). Anyway, I will try the EA8500 and I hope it works. I bought a temporary router from Walmart and I paid $35 for it. It is a Belink N600 DB. I can't believe that a $35 router is working a lot, lot, lot better than my previous $250 WRT1900AC router. Unbelievable. If the EA8500 doesn't work, I'm going to try and get my money back from Linksys, or contact The Consumerist or someone to get my money back and get a Nighthawk instead.

Exporting to Shutterfly problems
