Mails are not displayed after migration to new iMac
Hello!
Today I migrated the contents of my old office iMac (G4, MacOS 10.4.11) to my new one (new 20'', MacOS 10.5) via FireWire.
Unfortunately my mails are not displayed on my new Mac:
I can see all my mailboxes on the left side, but the window, that should show the mails themselves is empty. I already took a look into the /library/mail folder and all my mails seem to be there.
They are just not displayed.
I use mail on that Mac with only one POP account.
What could cause this behaviour?

I figured out niw, how to solve the problem:
After the migration go to the Userdirectory-> Library -> Mail and delete the files:
MessageRules.plist
MessageRules.plist.backup
MessageSorting.plist
MessageSorting.plist.backup
Then Mail works properly.
(The only thing ist, that all filer rules are gone.)

ITune songs not found after migrating to new iMac
My old iMac's graphics card broke. Luckily I have used Time Machine to back up to ann external HDD.
I used Migration Assistant to bring up the new iMac. However, I cannot find any songs in iTune. The songs can still be found in my iPhone though.
I also found that Time Machine has set up a new folder in the external HDD, so while the old backup files are still there, I cannot access it when I tried to restore it.
Need help.
Since this is a new, clean installation, I don't mind reinstalling the OS X, which I have done, if it helps.There is no Music folder.
Perhaps I should try to start from a clean slate again. Do you think it will make sense to wipe out all the data and re-install OSX, re-migrate? There will not be any lost data (compared to what I have now..)
When I re-installed OSX, I had to state a name. I chose the name on the previous computer, which led to a conflict when I tried to migrate. I had to choose another name for the new iMac. Could this have led to the inability to restore properly? (am I making sense?) -
New created values are not displaying after upload
Hi
I have created 2 key figures(Infoobject),4 new nodes and leafs(Hierarchy), to include the new logic at R/3 end as well as BW end.Every thing is fine even after doing full upload(repair).
When i execute the query the data is not populated in its respective infoobjects and hierarchy nodes and leafs.
Even 1 infoobject which is used for Counter value is not showing the counting as it's defined as aggregate to the info object Count and that included to ODS which is responsible for counting. after full upload it's not showing the counter values.
After full upload(Repair) all these entries are not displaying in the report against the data which is present at RSA3 level.
Can any one tell me how to make them available in the query even after data is uploaded / available in the bw.

You can´t see hierarchies in an infoprovider, so this is ok. A hierarchie is a part of an infoobject. But you say you have 2 new kefigures and they are not filled. I suppose you added both keyfigures to your DSO/Cube and to the datasource (in your source system). Have you extended the transformations between datasource <-> DSO and DSO <-> Cube too? Are the keyfigures correctly connected (in the transformations)? If yes, check your PSA after loading. Are the keyfigures filled here? If no, check the RSA3 in your source system. Are the fields for you keyfigures filled there?
Pls. check this all and tell us, what the result is.

On our ipad 2, after upgrading to iOS 7, the photo album is completely screwed, and the saved photos are not displaying correctly. How do we get our photos Back?
OK, tried the reset and it seems to have cleared up some problems; however, the picture problem remains.
Maybe there is something further we could do in settings? My wife uses the iPad as her constant companion and likes to take screen shots (pictures) of recipes and such. She keeps them in albums. Before the update to iOS 7 they all displayed correctly regardless of physical machine orientation. Now, post update, when in landscape mode, which she uses 99.9% of the time, her pics do do fully display. By physically rotating the machine, they will appear correctly. We have noticed that there is a new "function" in edit pics for "aspect ratio."
Should we be using this? If so, she'll have to edit a very large number of pics. So I'm wondering if we're missing some new setting. BTW- this display problem also occurs with pics taken with the camera as well. -
Images in mail are not shown after ios8 update
After update iOS8 the images attached in mails are not shown constantly, I configured my iPhone and iPad to show the images in mails but it is not working all time.
The issue is with photos sent from my ip cameras, these are showing for one mail and for other not.

I'm not familiar with fuse, but I found the action in line one of your third frame (on the main timeline) dubious, and a quick search lead me to try "portfolio._brightness = 0;" as first line (and I commented out the original line) that worked.
My quess is that whatever template or original file you've been modifing/adjusting used some kind of color-fade in at that point, and you somehow broke it.
To me it looks ok without it, but you let me know if you need further guesswork from me.

SAP Webdispatcher :Images are not displayed after using the URL filtering

I have installed the SAP webdispatcher 7.3 on Linux redhat 5.4 in front of the Portal 7.3.
I wanted to restrict the access just for the IRJ prefix so for this i used the parameter wdisp/permission_table = PermFile
with Permfile as follows:

The filtering is working well except that for IRJ the images are not displayed so i was using so i added the following line to disply the images to the logon page

but i still have the same issue for the irj page where no icons are displayed and i can do nothing.
The same issue also happened when using the icm/HTTP/auth_xx
Do you have an idea how to deal with this issue?

After checking the HTTP code of the irj page on IE, i foud the needed URL to permit so i modified the permision table and it works fine for the moement

OA_MEDIA images are not displayed after importing VO
My requirement is to add a custom check box to MES Operator page. In the process I extended CO, VO successfully and the check box functionality is working fine. But we found out that some images (coming from $OA_MEDIA) are not displayed. There are two image columns in the page. Images in one column are displayed while images in other aren't. Also what I have observed is, missing images are displayed until I run the VO import on server.
Any help would be appreciated.

Mail not opening after migration to new macbook pro

I recently transferred all of my files using migration assistant from a powerbook G4 to a Macbook Pro and now mail will not open. It will show up in the bar underneath the screen but it won't display anything and it won't quit. Anyone have any solutions?Without having to mess with plists, or messing with other arcane buried folders, this solution for me in migrating from a G4 to a Mini.

Simple. Move the ~/Library/Mail folder out and back in. Read the thread for the specific order. It's easy and save me tons of heartache. -
Report Headings are not displaying after moving request to production
Dear all
A request has been moved to production server for a new report from quality to production server.
First we moved the request from development to quality.
In quality server , the new report is executing successfully, but coming to production,
after moving the request successfully, the headings of the fields are not coming (displaying the database table fields).
I am not understanding why it is happening.
Can anyone suggest me, what to do for executing the report with specified headings for the columns

ERMS: Inbound mails are not displaying in Agent inbox from IC web
Hi Experts,
We are implementing ERMS solution.. in CRM 2007 system. I am not able find the inbound mails in Agent inbox. I have done the below settings..
1. Mail settings has done by BASIS team and whenever i sent a mail to ( cust@example) from my out look i can see the mail in SCOTT.
2. I have done the inbound distribution for the mail id customer@example to ERMS support2 BOR object
3. I have followed the rest of the steps from "ERMS_How_to_guide " document.Hope all the set up inplace according to the document.
Pleasse provide me some inputs what may be the reason for not displaying the e-mail in Agent inbox from IC web. Thanks

I have checked the org unit settings in CRM_ERMS_WF_CUST and its fine. I have checked the E-Mail work bench from IC_Manager role and i could find the mail which i have sent with the status 'In Que'. If i go inside by clicking the hyper link of the mail which is received into the inbox i could find the below mentioned log.....

IPhoto Not Responding after Migration to new MacBook
Gang,
I bought my wife a new White MacBook and I used the Migration Assistant to move her data from her old iBook. Everything went well except for iPhoto. When I opened it for the first time it started updating the photo library but it hangs at around 32 minutes remaining. In the activity monitor it goes red and says Not Responding. It has done this 4 time now even after reboots. Also, the photos did transfer over and can be seen in the Desktop/ScreenSaver Preference.
Any ideas how to get past this?

I have deleted the iPhoto Library and replaced it several times but each time when I open iPhoto on the new MacBook it wants to update the library and then after about 3 minutes it will hang. In the Activity Monitor the process turns red and reads (not responding).
This has been going on for two days now and it is the only thing I can not get working on her new MacBook.
On the old iBook iPhoto works just fine.
Any ideas???????

I deleted the everything within the V2 folder inside Mail. But still got the message. I have also tried extracting a copy of Mail from a working backup and running it from my desktop but no luck either.I have tried reinstalling. Next I reinstalled xCode. Then I reinstalled iLife from a DVD. I reinstalled the developer tools. Nothing has helped yet.
The problem is that the variable _OBJC_CLASS_$_NSObject is missing from the /usr/lib/libobjc.A.dylib file.
I even reinstalled the /usr/lib/libobjc.A.dylib file from a backup when the Mail program worked but no luck.
How do we get a /usr/lib/libobjc.A.dylib file with the _OBJC_CLASS_$_NSObject variable?

Approvers are not displaying after Saving the SC and re opening SRM 7.0 PCW
Hi All,
We have implemented PCW SRM7.0 SC workflow, where we have implemented to ES - /SAPSRM/BD_WF_PROCESS & /SAPSRM/BD_WF_AGENTS ....
When we are saving any SC and re opening it further then it is not determining any approvers. when I debugged then found that Agents badi implementations are not getting triggered n Due to it no agents are showing up..
Can any one suggest any inputs on this.

Thank you for the comments. The problem was a erratic logic in a Z level of approval.
Here is what I done:
My requirement was to validate the total value of each line item of the SC and trigger a second step of approval if it exceeded a predefined amount. As you mentioned, the standard BRF's only consider total value of the SC and not the value per line item. I copied the Badi implementation of RR_MANAGER_OF_MANAGER as well since we needed the approver to be the manager of the previous approver level and in the method GET_AREA_TO ITEM_MAP I worked up the logic we needed. For the first level of approver additionally of the mentioned method i had to re-write the method get_responsible_approvers of a Z class ZCL_WF_AREA_MANAGER (Copy of /SAPSRM/CL_WF_AREA_MANAGER) to get the approver information of the ECC system and in the method GET_AREA_TO ITEM_MAP i split the area of responsibility according to the account assignment ( so it was 1 badi implementation for each level of approval).

TM doesn't see its backup after migrating to new iMac and restoring system.
TM doesn't see its backup even though it still exists on the HD. I just migrated to a new iMac. After using OS X disc to 'Restore System From Backup' with TM backup it was showing the latest backup attempt had failed. The same disk was highlighted under TM Preferences too. But once I reset it TM began to make a new backup under a new folder/computer name (adding a number to the end). Is there a way to make TM see the existing BU and continue on?

1) iMac6,1 (Late 2006) Intel 2.16 GHz Nvidia OS X 10.5.6
2) iMac8,1 (Early 2008) Intel 2.8 GHz ATI OS X 10.5.4
Perform final backup of iMac #1 with TM and SuperDuper!
Shut down and disconnect.
Hook up iMac #2 and power up.
After OS X intro select 'Transfer from another Mac' with Set Up Assistant (note: this was from the SD! backup).
Everything was selected for transfer; Users, Apps, Network,..etc. (I assumed it would update OS X too).
Transfer complete.
Restart.
Log in.*
* I have both Admin and User account. I noticed things weren't performance was off; log in was slow (Menu Bar items took longer to display, clock too), and generally overall apps,..etc seemed slow. Apps were asking for license and reg info too.
Second attempt (restore system from TM backup):
Startup from OS X 10.5.6 disc.
Erase HD with DU.
Select 'Restore System from Backup'.
Select TM backup.
After that completed, restart computer.
And that brings us to now. Well, sort of.
So what is the proper way to migrate as it were from between two different Intel iMac's? I have to assume I transfered over system files that caused a conflict with the new iMac's HW, correct? What can I do now? I've already performed new backups of both SD! and TM. I didn't think it mattered since either way the backups come from my old system. I'm guessing I should have updated OS X first on the new iMac and only selected User files, Apps, Network settings,.. etc., for transfer, or maybe installed apps fresh. I thought I was doing it correctly.
The new iMac still seems off with performance to me. I've tried performing multiple 'Repair Disk Permissions' too. There are about 32 differing permissions but DU doesn't seem able to repair them as they come up again and again. Here are some examples;

My final attempt to straighten this out is to install from OS X disc fresh (erase/install). Transfer only User files, Network settings, anything pertinent to my Users (email, browser, keychain,..),... and nothing else. Reinstall 3rd-Party Apps. I had to do this before after updating from Tiger to Leopard because it didn't take well.
Any help/insight appreciated.
