Maintaining table in Integration Directory

Hi,
I was trying to use value mapping for maintaining values in ID, but as the 2nd column has got repeating values , I am not able to form a value group. Please suggest what can I use for the same.
Eg :-   CompId --- 9916    CompCode 78
           CompId --- 9999    CompCode 78
The values are not being accepted in the value group as the agency and scheme are same. Please let me know how can I maintain a table in ID which can be used in ESR.
Thanks,
Neelansha

Hi Neelansha,
You have to do little work around here, your source values is common then to make them unique add some identifier in the begining  say X1 company ID and in table maintaine X1 company ID and value
and if your tagert values are common then  add some values at the end  say 9916 CompCode 78X1,9916 CompCode 78X2 etc.
and in the mapping afte the value mapping fucntion use the substring function to read till  9916 CompCode 78 and ignore last two characters.

  • ABAP Table for Integration Directory Objects

    Hi
Is there any ABAP table, which stores the runtime objects, communication channel, It's status, Service etc.
Where you can find out status of each channel and the channel type used within the ABAP stack in Data Dictionary table.
    Replies apprecriated.
    Swetank

    Hi Paresh,
To view the status of adapters you can use RWB.
You dont need to write an ABAP report for this purpose.
RWB->Component Monitoring->Click on Displaye with status "all".
    Then..click o Integration Server->Adapter Engine
click on 'Adapter monitoring' in the the 'Status' tab page of the window at the bottom of the screen.
This will launch a widow with status details of all the monitors.
    Hope this info helps you.

  • ** Not able to create Value Mapping Table in Integration Directory

    Hi friends,
I am not able to create value mapping entries like below in ID.
    Agency :    Computer1                Agency : Computer2
    Scheme:    Country                     Scheme: CountryCode
Value for Computer1                   Value for Computer2
    Australia                                     AU
    India                                           IN
    Austria                                       AU
Note that I have assigned the same country code 'AU' for the Countries 'Australia' & 'Austria'. But, when we assign 'AU' to 'Austria', the system asks question as below:
    Value mapping already exists
              Australia | AU
              Austria | AU
Do you want to delete it from the existing group and assign it to the current group instead?
                       Continue       Cancel
Though choose any of the option, I am not able to assign 'AU' to 'Austria'.
Friends, this is my requirement. How do we solve this ?
    Kindly help me.
    Kind Regards,
    Jeg P.

    Hi Koen,
I tried this. Its working fine now. Thanks for giving guidance to me. Then, I have another doubt. Suppose if we create 2 sets of VM table, (First Receiver will act as 2nd one how do we achieve this). For Ex:
    Set 1:
Source Agency: SYS1              Target Agency: SYS2
Source Scheme: CODE             Scheme : DEPT
             A                                            HR
             B                                            Accts
             C                                            Finance
    Set 2:
Source Agency: SYS2              Target Agency: SYS3
Source Scheme: DEPT             Scheme : GRADE
             HR                                             Second
             Accts                                          First
             Finance                                       First
In this case, I followed the same logic which you said, but I am not able to create. I think the main point is GUID here. If you have any idea, kindly tell me.

  • Source Tables for Integration Directory(Config)

I'm trying to identify all of the tables used in the configuration....So I can pull the data and help me generate a report on the configuration of our system, documenting each Configuration scenario from   thru all the Rvcr Dets and Interface Detu2026to  each receiver.
I'm identified some tables (Ex:SSRVCHANNEL or SSRVCHANNELATT).   But still see I'm missing pieces. (EX: where is Variable Substitution info stored or Interface Determination data)
Anyone out there able to shred some light in this area.
    Thanks.

Have you tried this search on the Java stack? I believe ID configurations would be stored more on Java stack.

  • Value Mapping - Mass replication and Integration Directory interface

    Hello all,
The following question is often approched in this forum but answer is never cleary provided. Thus I'm sorry to ask it again.
We are using Value Mapping mass data replication using special interface provided by XI. We can easily see results in cache using Cache Monitoring tool in RWB.
    My question is :
Is it possible to see and then to maintain such data (mass replicated) using Integration directory (Tools > Value Mapping menu)
In this menu, we don't see our loaded data.
    How to do this ?
    Thanks a lot.

    Hi Jean-Charles !
We also use VMR, and we find no way to access the cache data from  Integration Directory. I think that by design this is not possible.
Value Mapping Replication for Mass Data
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/2a/9d2891cc976549a9ad9f81e9b8db25/frameset.htm
You cannot display the replicated value mapping data in the Integration Directory user interface (see Displaying/Editing the Value Mapping Table) since the original runtime data is stored in the application from which the data is copied. The value mappings created in this way using the user interface of the Integration Directory are just one of many possible sources of data.

  • Basis: No service for system , client  in Integration Directory??

    Hi All,
IDocs from SAP QA are not being sent to PI QA. I see error in SM58 in SAP QA as: No service for system , client  in Integration Directory.  Please dont jump to asnwers by looking at above error. I could fix that, but thats not the real problem.
    Because I have checked
    1) SLD home page ---> Technical Landscape --> Select Web AS ABAP --> Select the technical system --> Clients ---> Click on the client used as Business system --> Here look for the logical system is defined (No Problem here, as logical systems is defined).
    2) ID---> Click on Objects --> Service Without party/Party > Double click on business system>On the tright side--> Service --> Adapter specific Identifiers ---> Check IDoc Adpater, Logical System (No Problem here as I see Logical System).
But I can't find values R/3 System ID and Client under "IDoc Adapter and RFC Adapter". I think thats problem here, when I click on "Compare with SLD" in edit mode, values are not getting populated into R/3 System ID and Client. It makes think there is communication error from ID to SLD. How I do confirm if its the real problem?
    3) Checked Note 940313 - IDoc adapter: Error messages in SM58, No problem here
    4) Did SLDCHECK from PI QA, works fine, no problems here
Both PI DEV and PI QA pointing to the same SLD. When I send IDocs from SAP QA to PI DEV, everything works fine. I can't send IDoc from SAP QA to PI DEV (changed RFC des to point to PI QA, it shouldn't be a problem).
How do I find out if communication between PI QA - ID is workign fine with the SLD? Is there any other issue you can think of causing the above error?
    Thank You,
    Indrasena Janga

*I have trobleshooted  a similar issue. In my case also the tRFC failed with the error "No service for system SAP, client 400 in Integration Directory".There were 11 IDOCS associated with this tRFC and when I saw control record of first IDOC,in sender information ,the sender partner number was wrong.Instead of "SAPSID",it was found as just "SAP".Where as the remaining ten were maintained with correct sender partner number.remaining ten IDOCS were dependant on first one.

  • No service for system X client Y in the integration directory

    Hi guys and gurus,
I've struggling with the following case for a couple of months (!!) and still I can not make it. I have to say that I am coming from the MM modules but trying to set up a ICH demo by myself during my spare time.
I send an idoc from R/3 to XI using program RSMIPROACT and I get message <b>No service for system SAPR3I, client 800 in Integration directory</b>. Even though, idoc has status 03 (Outbox).
    - I have created a technical and business system.
    - Connections work properly in SM59
    - Port XIDOCPORT with RFC XIDCLNT100 maintained txn WE21
    - Partner XIDCLNT100 (LS) with Outbound parameter:
Idoc name - Port created. txn WE20.
    - IDX1 maintained in XI system.
    Is there something missing?
This is my first post but points rewarded if somebody takes me out of this hole.
    Thanks,

  • No business system in integration directory error...urgent pl

Scenario: SAP800 to SAP812 via XI3.0 Using Idocs and IDoc adopter.
When I create a business system for SAP800 and SAP812 in integration Directory, it is not visble in the Integration server where I configured the Idoc adopter and thus the Idoc_inbound_asychronous is throwing a error back to SAP800" No service for business system SAP800 in integration Directory".
What may be the problem? And Pl help in Debugging the creation of business system in Integration Directory...
    Thanks.

    Hi,
make sure that the logical system names are properly assigened to the business systems in the Directory. To to so double click one of your Business Systems and select the menu entry "Adapterspecific Identifiers".
If the logical system name is not maintained here, make sure that it is so in the SLD (check the clients of your technical system in the SLD).
Maintain them, if necessary, clear the SLD Cache in the Directory (Menu: Environment->Clear SLD..), go to the Adapterspecific Identifiers (in edit mode) and click the second button to load the data from the SLD.
    Did this fix the problem?

  • Change the SLD adress in Integration Directory

    Hello,
When I launch the SLD from the integration directory page I get an error and the host adress is not right.
Could you please show me how to change the host adress of the sld.
In order to access the integration directory page go to:
    http://<host>:<port>/dir
    Thanks

URL for SLD is maintained in Exchange Profile.
In exchange profile you will find the URL maintained for SLD in "Connections". You need to change below  parameters:
    com.sap.aii.connect.cr.name
    com.sap.aii.connect.cr.httpport
    com.sap.aii.connect.landscape.name
    com.sap.aii.connect.landscape.httpport

  • Unable to open Integration directory

    Hi,
I am trying to open Integration directory but getting an error. Its saying
    "Unable to launch Integration Directory".
    Can someone help?

    Hi,
I am including a list of possible solutions. There could be many reasons to this problem so i am giving you all possible solutions.
I think you need to clera your JWS cache. to do this, just open your Java Web Start, go to FILE-->PREFERENCES >Advanced> and select the option CLEAR APPLICATION FOLDER.
    or
I tried sldcheck transaction and found out that sld is not working .
When I go through system log user was locked which is used for sldaccess maintained in sldapicust transaction.
After unlocking same user , problem was resolved.
    or
    suggest you try installing j2sdk-1_4_2_09.

  • Can CDC enabled database DIFF backups be RESTORED while maintaining the CDC integrity?

We tried restoring FULL + subsequent DIFF backups of a CDC enabled database to a different SQL server and found that the CDC integrity is not being maintained. We did RESTORE the databases with the KEEP_CDC option.
Can someone please guide us on how to successfully restore the CDC enabled database backups(FULL + DIFF) while maintaining the CDC integrity?
Note: SQL Server Version: SQL Server 2012 SP1 CU2

    Hi YoungBreeze,
Based on your description, I make a test on my computer.
Firstly, I create a database named ‘sqldbpool’ , then enable the
Change Data Capture (CDC) feature and take full+ differential backups of the database. Below are the scripts I used.
    -- Create database sqldbpool
    CREATE DATABASE [sqldbpool] ON PRIMARY
    ( NAME = N'SQLDBPool', FILENAME = N'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\DATA\SQLDBPool.mdf' , SIZE = 5120KB ,
    MAXSIZE = UNLIMITED, FILEGROWTH = 1024KB )
    LOG ON
    ( NAME = N'SQLDBPool_log', FILENAME = N'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\DATA\SQLDBPool_log.LDF' , SIZE = 3840KB ,
    MAXSIZE = 2048GB , FILEGROWTH = 10%)
    GO
    use sqldbpool;
    go
    -- creating table
    create table Customer
custID int constraint PK_Employee primary key Identity(1,1)
    ,custName varchar(20)
    --Enabling CDC on SQLDBPool database
    USE SQLDBPool
    GO
    EXEC sys.sp_cdc_enable_db
    --Enabling CDC on Customer table
    USE SQLDBPool
    GO
    EXEC sys.sp_cdc_enable_table
    @source_schema = N'dbo',
    @source_name = N'Customer',
    @role_name = NULL
    GO
    --Inserting values in customer table
    insert into Customer values('jugal'),('shah')
-- Querying CDC table to get the changes
    select * from cdc.dbo_customer_CT
    --Taking full database backup
backup database sqldbpool to disk = 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Backup\sqldbpool.bak'
    insert into Customer values('111'),('222')
-- Querying CDC table to get the changes
    select * from cdc.dbo_customer_CT
    --Taking differential database backup
BACKUP DATABASE sqldbpool TO DISK = 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Backup\sqldbpooldif.bak' WITH DIFFERENTIAL
    GO
Secondly, I restore the ‘sqldbpool’ database  in a different SQL Server instance with the following scripts. After the restoration, everything works as expected and the database maintains the CDC integrity.
    Use master
    Go
    --restore full database backup
    restore database sqldbpool from disk = 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Backup\sqldbpool.bak' with keep_cdc
Restore Database sqldbpool From Disk = 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Backup\sqldbpool.bak'
With Move 'SQLDBPool' To 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\DATA\SQLDBPool.mdf',
    Move 'SQLDBPool_log' To 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\DATA\SQLDBPool_log.LDF',
    Replace,
    NoRecovery;
    Go
    --restore differential database backup
    restore database sqldbpool from disk = 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Backup\sqldbpooldif.bak' with keep_cdc
--add the Capture and Cleanup jobs
    Use sqldbpool
    exec sys.sp_cdc_add_job 'capture'
    GO
    exec sys.sp_cdc_add_job 'cleanup'
    GO
    insert into Customer values('TEST'),('TEST1')
-- Querying CDC table to get the changes
    select * from cdc.dbo_customer_CT
When we restore a CDC enabled database, we need to note that the CDC feature is available only on the Enterprise, Developer, and Evaluation editions of SQL Server. And we need to add the Capture and Cleanup agent jobs after restoring the database.

  • Refresh System Data in Integration Directory PI 7.11

    Hey,
I have setup a new technical system and a business system in SLD, but now I still can't find it in Integration Directory.
I knew from the later PI Version, that there was an option to transfer SLD data to integration directory, but now I can't find it
    anymore.
    Can anybody help?
    Thanks!
    Michael

Tools (or right-click in ID) --> Assign Business System --> follow the wizard...it will assign the business system from SLD to ID

  • Creating business services in integration directory

    Hi
When business services are created in integration directory - these business services are not tied back to entries in the SLD - i.e we can create entries for business services directly in integration directory without having to import them from SLD.
Now, when we migrate - from Dev environment to other landscapes - my understanding is that these business service entries are going to be migrated with the same names -and no transport target entries / validations is made during the target system import time - which happens in case of business systems having entries in SLD....
Could anybody out there - clarify these thoughts about business service entries
Thanks in advance - for your time .

    Hi Madhu,
If you want to create a communication component for a business system from the System Landscape Directory (SLD), choose the Business System menu option. In the wizard, select a business system from the SLD and create a communication component for it in the Integration Directory.
