Hi All,
I need to make a Z* table has modifiable in production thru Sm30 , it says "Client 100 has status 'not modifiable', Actually the user needs to make some changes directly in prod. which is possible for other tables but not for this.
Please advice...

Hi,
At first , you should put the MANDT in your table, this is client number.
2nd, in tab"Delivery and Maintainance" , the delevery class choose "C" and data browser/Table view Maint choose "Display/Maintain allowed".
3rd, In Util->Table main generator, set the recording routine to "no, or user,recording routine".
That's all.

how do we make the table content in CRM and Mobile in sync.?

Hi Nattawat,
There is a concept known as CDB(consolidated database).
Whenever you create/change something in CRM a BDOC gets generated. This BDOC gets stored in CDB in mobile sales scenario and then from CDB the data goes to the mobile clients.
Here you will have to enable the CDB. I guess we can do it from the SPRO configuration. Take inputs from functional guys here.
You will have to create the mobile clients as sites and then define Publication, subscription from Admin Console. The transaction is SMOEAC.

How to make the 'TABLE' ui element to stretch to a determined height?

I have one problem, i don't know how to resolve it. Can anybody help me, thanks in advance.
The requirement is :
In the View, i have 2 UI elements, one table and one Format-text.
The "TABLE" will be used to display the records of one DB which has 100 records in total. The "Format-Text" will be used to display some comment which is determined before. "TABLE" is placed above of the "Format-Text".
Take it simple, i provide the height of the "Format-Text" UI element is 100px.
Okay. Now, we need the height of our webdynpro should be stretched to 100% vertically of our monitor. That is too say:
      (1). If the height of our monitor is '500px', the "TABLE" ui element should be streched to 400px vertically (500px - 100px)
             If the 400px can not hold the '100 rows', then the 'TABLE' can be scrolled.
      (2). If the height of our monitor is '1000px', the "TABLE" ui element should be streched to 900px vertically (1000px - 100px)
             If the 900px is higher than "100 rows", then the left height should be placed with 'Empty rows' of table.
Can anybody be familiar with these requirement?

It seems one good solution, especially for the "2nd case" (if the height of total records of DB is larger than the height of the table UI element , now we can use one "Scrollable transparent container " to encapsule the "Table UI element" ). Ya, you also mentioned that : it will bring the adverse reaction that i will loose the "Header" of "Table" while scrolling. Thanks for your consideration of the dimensions of this problem.
However, About the the "1st case"(If the height of total records of DB is short than the height of the table UI element..). I should add "Empty rows" to the "Table" dynamically, even i also can not know how many rows should i add...
first i can measure the height of the "Monitor"; Second i cannot know the height of "one row" of "Table".

How do I make the table better aligned in dream weaver?

In the actual application the table seems to aligned, it also works fine in the internet explorer browser but in firefox the lines are not how it appears in the program. There is a lot of space, etc...

How can I import data using .dmp into the table which has more columns then in import

I am building the history for warehouse purpose on Oracle 8i database and want to use the old import (.dmp) files (from oracle 7.3.4) to import data but the underlying table is having few more columns which are not in my old DMP file .. how can I import the data into these altered tables while using the same *.imp files .
Any solutions ?

That is the most obvious solution .. but think of the case when my operational database which is the source of my data is undergoing changes every quarter i.e after every 3 months there are some changes on underlying table structures which means structures of my import files will always be different after evry quarter .. you can imagine the number of temporary import structures I need to create .. can't there be a solution wherein I can write an SQL over the import file to read the data in required format ..

Can I make the table in Numbers automatically add new rows as I go?

I am working on a list of expenses with a total at the bottom but when I run out of rows, it doesn't add them in like Excel would. I am missing something?

If I understand what your problem is, you have something like
=SUM(A1:A5) for the sum, and when you add a new row to the bottom row (before the SUM), the formula doesn't change. It's still =SUM(A1:A5) even though now you have A6. So now you have a row which is "orphaned." This happens even when you have a footer row.
Use this instead:
=SUM(A)
That way when you add rows, the new rows will always be included in the sum. The footer row will not be included.
You can also use names. Like
=SUM(Sales) instead of the Column letter, if you have "Use header cell names as references" checked in preferences.
A new row will automatically be added above the footer row if you hit Return or Enter twice.

Population of Tables modifiable in PROD

All,
I am attempting to identify all tables/views that could be directly modified in a Productive client via Table Maintenance (for audit purposes).
Scenario:
- We are running ECC6
- We keep Client Customizing (SCC4) locked 99% of the time, so I am only interested in Table Maintenance via SM30 type transactions, not via Table Browser (SE16 type transactions).
- I am not considering security in this question, please assume there are users with S_TABU_DIS(02, *), S_TABU_CLI, SM30, and various Maintenance Dialogs.
Guidance:
For several years I have relied on the following guidance to identify tables that can be modified via Table Maintenance with Customizing Locked in PRD:
1) The Maintenance Flag must be set to "X" for the table in DD02L, field MAINFLAG.
2) The Delivery Class of the table must be A, L, E, S, W. (in other words it must not be a Customizing type table which would have Delivery class C or G)
3) There must be a Maintenance Dialog generated for the table. I identify these by looking in TSTCP (Parameter Transactions Table) and identifying all T-Codes that are a parameter of SM30 or SM31. The table that can be modified is listed after VIEWNAME=.
Results:
After performing the analysis above, I identified 284 tables in our environment that are modifiable; however, after meeting with various analysts I have determined that there are tables they modify every day that do not show up as being modifiable in my analysis! Many of the exception tables are custom, but not all. I observed as they clearly went to SM30, entered the table name, hit Maintain, and made changes/saved. I have looked at 10 of these tables and noticed they all have one thing in common: based on my analysis, I don't think they have a Maintenance Dialog generated. Why are they able to maintain a table via SM30 without a Maintenance Dialog being generated? Or, am I reading something wrong in TSTCP, perhaps? I validated that the tables in question are not set as Current Settings.
Example 1
I watched table/view V_T511P be modified in PROD. It has its Maintenance Flag set to X (as expected), it is of Delivery Class <blank> (not expected), but there is no entry in TSTCP for anything related to \*511\*.
Example 2
I watched table ZHDIVISION be modified in PROD. It has its Maintenance Flag set to X (as expected), it is of Delivery Class A (as expected), but there is not entry in TSTCP for anything related to \*ZHDIVISION\*.
Questions:
1) What is wrong in my analysis such that it is not identifying all Tables/Views that can be modified in PROD while Client Customizing is locked?
2) I am also aware tables can be flagged as Current Settings which can always be maintained (posting periods, currency translations, etc.). I am able to see this flag via SE54 for specific tables but is there a way for me to get a complete list of all Tables/Views that are flagged as Current Settings?

Using this method, you will get only the objects for which the transaction code is created. For example the view 'V_T511P" doesn't have any transaction code associated with it.

when you try to select the attributes of the table that has to be populated
you may have to right click on the rootuicontainer and select apply template and select table
and select the attributes from the node that has to be populated in the table and click next
and you can find the attributes name and textview which is by default that would be shown inthe table
instead you can change the textview and select from the dropdown select the linktoaction and linktourl
and or you can go other way as add a new column to the table and select buttons to the table .
and for each each row and on click of the button you can call the RFC .

Table that has the hier text names and the corresponding hier ID

Would anyone happen to know the table that has the hier name text as it appears from the infoObject level and the corresponding Internal hierarchy ID (unique ID) for data element RSHIEID. I would want ot be bale to match the text name o f the hier to the hier ID.

Trying to make it simpler taking the 0material hierarchy note that the 0material has been loaded with 3 different hierarchies:
fields in the H table:
HIEID - 434FLR9O6DX0XXJS3CLIYZODD (Refers to the particular hierarchy as mentioned I have 3 hierarchies loaded to 0Material)
OBJVERS - Active and so on
NODEID - 4 digit internal number of the hierarchy
These are the Keys that identifies the hierarchy uniquely in my case the 1st hierarchy.
Now if you want to find the nodes then based on the example above I will take the hierarchy id ie 434FLR9O6DX0XXJS3CLIYZODD for the field HIEID that would give me all the nodes of this hierarchy
Note: the HIEID for a particular hierarchy can be found from the HEADER info

Does table load make the view INVALID

Hi All,
One of our jobs failed due to an INVALID view. When I check the view and last_ddl_time, it has a time stamp, which is recent than the the job failure. I have also checkd the base table. One of the table partition has same time stamp for last_ddl_time as the view. Looks like the partition has been exchanged or some othe DDL ran on that partition. But table structure was not altered (no columns added, no renaming of the columns). My question by anmy chance adding a partition/partition exchnage/loading a partition makes the views on the table INVALID?? What could be the reason to this?

Why, when I make a table in a Thunderbird message, does it now make everything within the table larger, even though it doesn't look like that on my computer?

I have been using Thunderbird to send e-mail newsletters to members of an organization I work for. To do that, I have been using tables to make a coherent looking newsletter. Suddenly, sometime recently in an update or something, ALL OF THE TEXT that is inside the table comes out larger when it is sent. So all my formatting goes to hell. Anything that is OUTSIDE a table, however, looks the same as when I typed it, so it isn't the general formatting of Thunderbird. I have to save everything as a draft (several times, usually) just to try to get it to look right.
I am including two screenshots to illustrate what I mean. The first, called "compose.jpg" shows how I had to adjust the font size to make the tables work as I had intended. This is what I see when I am composing an email newsletter, not the larger font that appears once the email is saved. The second, called "draft.jpg" shows how this same (exact) email looks when it is saved or sent. (This one is saved as a draft.) Notice that the text at the bottom of the message has NOT been enlarged because it is outside the table.

No, the signature is not the issue, it is only an example of the issue. Compare the text size in the "compose" image with that in the "draft" image. For whatever reason, text placed in a table is magnified to be much larger than what I see when I compose it. But ONLY in a table. This means that I must juggle the size of the text after I prepare an e-mail newsletter (using tables for formatting) or it won't look like I expect it to.
This only began to happen sometime late last fall, which is why I wonder if it came as a by-product of some update. What I would like is to be able to specify that the text size I enter in the table remains that size when the email with the table is sent, preferably as a permanent specification, and not necessary every time I do one of these.
