Making the Asset field editable in MIGO

Hi,
I need a help in MIGO transaction. If you do a GR against a PO with type ACCOUNT ASSIGNMENT = A (asset), that is , if in EKPO table the record of that PO contains a value EKPO-KNTTP = A, in the MIGO screen you find a field "Asset", in the Genral TAB of line Item Data. Can please tell me how to make that field editable?

Hello Anid,
You need to make setting for the account assignment category "A" in the SPRO mode
SPRO -> Mat mangt -> Purchsing -> Account assignment - > Maintain account assignment categor
Select the line item with "A", click on Detail and flag mark "Acct assignment changable"

    Hi,
    The only way is put the "condition" in a calculated field. Create one more applet (clone of the read only applet). Make all the other fields read only at "applet level" and leave the one field as editable. Use the calculated field to toggle the cloned applet. Thats it. Any query revert back.

    If u want the high value of the select-option should be Mandatory  then try this:
    SELECT-OPTIONS: SO_FIELD .... OBLIGATORY.
    AT SELECT-SCREEN ON SO_FIELD.
    READ TABLE  SO_FILED WHERE HIGH = INITIAL.
    IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
    Error Message  " Error Message
    ENDIF.

  • Where is the Asset Field?  FS10N

    Hi Gurus,
    We just upgraded to ERP 6.0. 
    It appears SAP has decided to remove certain fields (Asset) from the transaction FS10N G/L Account Line Item Display Layout. 
    Please advise as to how to add the field Asset back to the G/L Account Linie Item Display Layout. 
    And if you know why it was removed, if you could provide that explanation as well, it would be greatly appreciated.

    We had this problem also when we migrated over to ECC6, refer to OSS note 215798,
    Solution
    To correct this inconsistency, carry out the following steps:
    1. The special field has to exist in table T021S. Check if this is the case by using the following path:
    Transaction SPRO -> Financial Accounting -> Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable -> Customer Accounts -> Line Items -> Display Line Items -> Define Additional Fields for Line Item Display.
    2. Using Transaction SE11, check whether the special field exists in structure RFPOSXEXT.'U_' is prefixed to actual field names, for example, U_EBELN.Provided that this field is missing, start program RFPOSXEXTEND using Transaction SE38.The program regenerates structure RFPOSXEXT and consequently eliminates the inconsistency.
    3. To eliminate the buffer inconsistency, execute report BALVBUFDEL with the option "Reset only EUINFO/LTEX" on all application servers.To execute the report without any risk, you must have at least the following Basis R/3 Support Packages in your system:
         4.6B R/3 SP20
         4.6C R/3 SP10
         4.6D R/3 SP03
                  Alternatively, you can implement Note 378021. This way the report is executed without selection screen and resets the entire ALV area of the shared buffer from all active application servers.

  • Making the ALV Non Editable on the Fly

    Dear All ,
    I have a one requirement inwhich i want to make the ALV grid Editable or non editable depending on a value of a perticular field in the Internal table.
    Eg. I have one internal table as IT_DATA with fields Customer number , Order NUmber Comments and Status.
    There are 10 records in this internal table out of which 5 has a status as 1 and 5 has a status as 0.
    Now i want to make the field Comments non editable if the value in the status is 1. If it is 0, i want to keep it as Editable.

  • Making GL Account field editable during Approval Process

    Hi Experts,
    We are in SRM 7.0 and using process controlled workflow.
    As a business requirent,we want the  GL account  field to be editable during the approval process i.e during approval process,approve wants to change the GL account in the shopping cart as the GL account may not be correctly entered.
    Is it possible to make the GL account field editable during approval process?if Yes,please share how it can be done.

    Level Type: There are 3 possible entries. Approval with completion, Approval and Automatic. Within
    a completion step the document can be changed by the approver if the u2018Changeableu2019 flag is set.
    Within the approval phase, the document can only be approved or rejected but not changed. It is not
    possible to mix the two phases of completion and approval. The completion phase is always before
    the approval phase. The automatic step is a final means of validating the approval process, and to
    verify that at least one step was returned without any error (example: event 0EV999). Depending on
    the task ID assigned to the automatic step, the document will then be either approved or rejected.

       you can make the field mandatory by using the screen modification ,
    path to follow
    Personnel Managment
               |...............Personeel administration
                                             |.....................customizing Procedure
                                                                           |..................screen modification
    and you can maintain the field values by using the IMG Path
    RupaPrasad.

  • Personalizing the PERWSHRG form by making the supervisor field mandatory

    I need to make the Supervisor field on the Assignment screen of the PERWSHRG form mandatory. There are many employees in our oracle system without a supervisor. I need to force the user to capture a supervisor whenever an employee is queried without a supervisor.
    When an employee is queried i can make the supervisor field manadatory (yellow) on the assignment screen. But somehow oracle still alllows the user to save and then exit the record without having to enter a supervisor. Almost like the madantory field is not enforced
    my current setup is
    Condition:
    Trigger Event: WHEN-NEW-ITEM-INSTANCE
    Trigger object: PERSON.LAST_NAME
    Condition: :PERSON.LAST_NAME is not null and
    :ASSGT.SUPERVISOR_ NAME is null

    At the time of personalizing the assignment form it may not work perporly as you expected because the record is created as soon as the employee record is saved on the enter and matain form. That's you are facing problem and try to do it in other way around.
    1) when validate record.
    2) Call a function or procedure to show error message if the user do not pass any value.
    and the last option is try to built a USER HOOK to validate the same.

       iam  calling  a RFC  and it is a Custom  and not
    a pre-defined 
           and  now i need to show some data  of the  table 
         in the pop-up window   in the input fields  and all this
            fields should be readonly .  there are about  30 
           input fields and it difficult to make each and every input
    field  as readonly  ,  is there any alternative  that allows
      me too make the all the input fields readonly.

    Even I tried the same but not successful. Because your container will not have Readonly propert so only way is to do it is doing for each and every element. for this also two ways are there.
    1. directly set the readonly property of each and every element in Layout tab or
    2. create a context variable of type boolean and map it to the readonly property of the UI.

  • Making certain DIR fields editable even when the DIR is in locked status(S)

    Is it possible to make certain fields in the DIR editable even though the DIR status is locked (S)?
    I guess it can't be done through customising. We've made a suggestion that the users should change the status so that the document will become editable again.
    But they would like to edit certain fields, i.e. description and lab/office only. The rest of the fields and data should remain locked. Can this be achieved through a user-exit somehow?

    Dear Kenneth,
    as far as I know this is not working because due to the locked status type the field are disabled by the system. So to avoid this the whole checking logic would have to be changed.

  • Making the comments field Required in the Workitem

    Hello,
    I have a GP Application wherein the initiator fills out a form which goes to the Approver using Visual Approval Callable Object.........now when the approver opens the workitem he sees the information entered by the initiator and a comments field at the bottom......we want to make this field required for them.......how can we achieve this.....while creation of the Visual Approval Callable Object i see the comments as a output parameter with the 'Is Required' checkbox option....but it is disabled and does not allow you to select it......Please help...

    Standard Visual Approval CO doesnt work like that.
    Either you can create your own CO.
    OR
    i can suggest you as follows, but it is making little complicated process.
    1. Create one Action with Business Logic callable object, which will check for Comment EQ space or not and have 2 different states.
    a. If Comments is blank, Go back to Approval Action
    b. If Comments is entered, Proceed for further actions.
    2. Set this action as target for Approval Action.

    For the time being, "incoterms" field in XD01 (Create customer) for the domestic customers is mandatory. On the other hand, I want to make it non-mandatory. How can I do it?

    Select the account grp and enter.
    Double click sale data
    Double click Billing
    make incoterms optional

    You can do this by maintaining trasaction variant in SHD0. You would have options to make a field display only, required entry, optional entry, supress.

    In the SAP Reference IMG, you can create transaction variants. Choose Basis Components -> Application Personalization -> Tailoring of Application Transactions -> Configure Transaction-Related Display Values for Fields (Transaction SHD0). Transaction variants allow you to preset values for fields in a transaction, set field attributes, or hide entire screens.
    To execute a transaction variant, you define a variant transaction using the Transaction Maintenance transaction (SE93).
    Once you have entered a transaction code and short description, choose transaction type Transaction with variant (Variant transaction).
    To define a variant, enter the name of the transaction and the name of the variant. You can then use the new transaction code to start the special variant of the transaction.

    It is not possile to do it.
    Each action is assigned the three status indicators STAT1 (customer defined), STAT2 (employment), STAT3 (special payment) in the customizing system.
    When a personnel action record is created, the system automatically fills the Customer defined, Employment and Special payment fields if the action affects the employee's status.
    The first record of the Actions infotype is assigned the status specified in the customizing system. All other records
    have the same status indicator as the new personnel action if this is not BLANK in the customizing system.
    have the same status indicator as the previous record if this is BLANK in the customizing system.
    This applies to all three indicators.
    Can you let  us know the business need or requirement to do it??
