Mandatory is checked when exiting radio groups, but not text fields?

I have a form with many questions, and most all of them are required. When tabbing out or otherwise exiting a radio group, the user gets warned if they did not select an item. When tabbing out of a text field, nothing happens. The user does get warned about the empty text fields if they try to submit the form.

The following is a very basic/general script used to check/test if a field's value is null after the user exits out of the field. Note that it will not prevent the user from submitting the form, however, it seems you are covering that "validation" via other means (i.e. field property).

Hmmm... I seem to have found the plist file that is doing it. I was looking at /Library/Application\ Support/Apple/Remote\ Desktop/ before... looks like /Library/Preferences/com.apple.ARDAgent.plist is the culprit.
This plist is a binary, so I had to use plutil to convert to xml in order to make it human readable. I wonder if I can just hack this file up a bit and re-deploy it to each machine. Or I wonder if it would re-build if I simply remove it from each client. I will need to test to find out, seeing as though the task servers are listed in it, probably not a good idea to remove it all the way.

Issue is the text field below these items is not big enough. When I make it bigger, like in "A" it gets bigger but then overlaps the text in "B" and I can't move the text. Someone else created this form and I have no idea what A, B and C are but they are not Text Fields. They are just static text of some sort and I can't do anything with it.

Try making the subform that contains your fields flowed, this will allow them to not overlap, but you will probably have to add some margins (or some 'spacer' subforms) to get the appearance you had.

Go to settings/music/volume limit tap on that. Make sure it is set to OFF and when you tap it that the slider is at max

Linking a radio button to a text field in a pdf form

Forgive my ignorance but does anyone know how to link a radio button to a text field in an Acobat pdf form?
I have a series of 4 radio buttons. If you click on one of them I would like to activate a text field which you then have to fill in. In addition it would be good to have it so that if you don't click on the radio button you're not able to fill in the associated text box.
I am a designer not a programmer so I don't know much about javascript. Can anyone help?

You might want to look at Hiding and Showing Form Fields by Thom Parker. You might also want to clear the text field when the radio button changes.

The third text field is blank, and I would like for the radio button next to it greyed out (user can't click on it) since the text field is blank. Is this possible to achieve? I'm assuming I'll have to use javascript, but what would the code be and would it be entered in the javascript editor for the text field or the radio button?

Can you choose to block phone calls but not texts from a number?

So I have searched all over the place and have not found an answer. I am sure someone has blocked me from calling them because when I try to call them I recieve this message: "Welcome to Verizon Wireless. The number you were trying to reach has calling restrictions which has prevented the completion of your call."However I am wondering if they can still receieve my texts. I have sent two and they both show that they have been delivered on my phone and they both also show up on my online bill as having been sent from me and recieved to the number that I am pretty sure has blocked me. Does Verizon allow someone to block just phone calls but not text messages? Or if you block a number from calling does that mean texting from that same number is automatically blocked as well (or is it two seperate processes)? I understand it may look like it has been sent on my end, but I am wondering, since I never got a "message failed" indicator or anything else telling me they never got it, if they were able to receive and read the 2 messages? We both are Verizon customers by the way. Thanks!!!

IMessage only can send text with photo but not text only

How come my iMessage can only sent text with photo but not text only. While entered text the send button is blue and gray.the button could become blue and white when only photo was being inserted. My iPad 2 iOS version 5.0.1.

ITunes crashes on exit when iPod is connected, but not otherwise?

I had this problem ever since I installed iTunes 7...
It occoured as soon as I installed the new verison while still using my old 4gb first gen. iPod nano.
Now I just recently bought a new second generation nano, and still have the same problem.
And the issue is, Whenever I close iTunes while my iPod is connected (but not being updated), i get the message that "iTunes.exe has preformed an illegal operation and will be closed".
Though I just noticed that if I disconnect the iPod before closing itunes, it closes fine and normally.
I Have tried to solve it by following toturials for uninstalling both just iTunes, and iTunes + QuickTime at the same time, and preform separate installations after cleaning the temp. folder and restarting. None of it has helped me solve the problem
-And I have lived with ifor a while, but it is getting really annoying if I am sititng on my computer and jsut close iTunes, without disonnecting my iPod, to run another program using sound or a lot of system resources. And thne each time get the error-message that "iTunes preformed an illegal operation and..."
Anytihng that can be done? -I run NO plugins for the record, and the iPod is connected by USB cable (seeing it is a Nano)
Anything anyne can suggest that I'd do, then please tell.

Hi, Im sorry just to add on to this discussion but I couldnt figure out how to start a new discussion and I am going mad! I have a new ipod because my last one was stolen and I have plugged it in and my PC wont recognise it. I think that is because my old ipod is the only one my computer will accept. Can that be right? It said the hardware device had been detected and then it said that it was troubled and it simply did not work. Now it is plugged in and not at all recognised in my computer anywhere. Can any one help this clueless girl who simply wants to listen to music again?

Entourage has a function where you can create a group but check a box that says "do not show addresses when sending to group". I want to be able to send email to my HOA, but not have everyone show up and not use bcc if possible. Is there a way to do this?

Profile issue in export workflow when PS is editor but not within Ap

Aperture is with me on my MBP (with Elements as the external editor). My place of work is not graphics related, so it doesn't have Ap but does have PS CS8, which I've used happily for a long time, for their needs and I can use it for mine as well. So I can't use PS as the internal editor, which is OK, it's just the way it goes. I'm fine with exporting 16 bit TIFFs, using PS for all the things I can't do in Ap, and then creating 8 bit TIFFs for whoever I'm sending the images to, who will use them for the gamut of uses, both print and web, but I'm not in the loop after I hand them off. The images do not then go back into Aperture, they're archived separately.
What is the best way to workflow the color profiles in doing this? Images come RAW off a Pentax K10D and into Aperture for conversion and color and exposure, then into the pixel editor. I work in and save a set in 16 bit RGB and then hand off a set in 8 bit sRGB. Here's my problem: When I work within Aperture and Elements (internally), everything works as planned, and when I check the images but I send them they're correct in how they look and the profile as listed. But I'm not getting the same results when I export out to PS from Ap, do the same routine and check. Sometimes there is no assigned profile, and sometimes if I then assign sRGB the image goes from looking right to wrong, so I can't ignore the issue : ) No doubt it's from the external editor only being able to make one blanket profile assumption at a time, either working or exporting.
I understand that Aperture uses its own color space, wider than both. Am I correct in trying to stay RGB and then converting to sRGB? How do I achieve proper profile workflow when using Aperture and exporting to PS externally? Thanks very much for direction in this. Searches have gotten me info about what results I likely want, but not quite how to get them in this situation.
