MAP calculations

Hi expert,
Here i am facing problem in MM01 am putting std.price of my end product 10(INR) & moving avg price =0 but as
per my client requriment they want MAP item wise details.Could you please advise me how to resolved this,there is any tcode
to get MAP item wise details because i am trying to using mc.1 or using table mwbd but user yet not satisfied.
If possible pl give me formula for MAP calcualtions.

For a material you can have both price control S and V only in case when material is split valuated.

Query regarding MAP Calculation Logic
Scenario:
*I have one material xyz
1. It is split valuated material,
2. Two valuation types with diff price control indicators
3. Batch Management is also activated on this material.*
Follwoing is the Material Master Accounting1 View :

This is not correct result as Total Values is 597801.00 only

This is correct result as Total Values is 610835 .00 only
So my query on above issue is :
1. How System is including 1 Qty of Std Price Control for MAP calculation?
As per my understanding MAP is only for Price Control V indicator Materials Stock
2. Whats the difference between these two report output from MM03 Accounting
   view?

hi Animesh,
For Split Valuated Material at header level Price control is always "V" i.e. Moving average price reagrdless of the Price control you have given for different valuation types.
Due to this you are getting these kind of results. Please visit the following link for more information

Moving Average Price Verification - How to verify the MAP calculation

Hello,
The material that we purchase are managed with the price control S. Therefore every Good entry and Good Issue is valuated at the standard price regarding the Balance sheet valuation.
At the End of the Month during the Month End closing, the MRN0 transcation is applied to identify the MAP unit price of a Material and this value is copied in the Tax Price 1 of the accounting view 2 (MBEW-BWPRS).
Afterwards, the transaction MRN9 is carried out to calculate the MAP adjustment to amend the Balance Sheet valuation in order to get the MAP valuation of the Material.
I know that way of the calulation of the MAP unit price based on the Good receipt and the Invoice receipt variance.
I have 2 issues regarding this process:
--> The MAP adjustment is recorded by valuation class whereas it would be helfull to have the recording of the MAP adjustment by Material
==> Do you know an other way to solve this issue
--> It's impossible to verify the MAP unit price calculation during the month
==> Do you know a SAP table (not the MBEWH, which is not usefull) which track for each stock movement (Good issue or good entry) the Total MAP value and Total quanity before the movement plus the MAP value and the quantity of the movement

Statistical forecasting....Input and Output at different levels? & MAD and MAPE calculations

Team,
Couple of questions on Statistical Forecasting...
1) Is it possible to have input and output KF at different planning levels?...
2) Is there anyway to see MAD and MAPE values for each Forecast run?

Hi Krishna,
#1 - The Inputs and Outputs should be at the same base planning level. Output should be a Stored KF. The input can be a calculated KF.
To achieve input and output at different plan levels, you can do something like this:
I/P KF1@PL1 (stored) Output: KF3@PL2
Create a Calculated KF: KF2@PL2 with calculation like SUM(KF1@PL1) and use this as input for StatFcst
#2 - The result of Fcst run MAD cannot be seen from Excel Client yet, we will address this in near release. If you are on-premise, you can see the results in table: sap.sop.sopfnd.catalogue::SOPFCS_FORECAST_RUNTIME_INFO_TAB

Impact of Negative Stock to MAP calculation

I have some query on the impact of Negative Stock to MAP price calculation.
If letu2019s say now I have 10 unit of stock A u2013
Stock qty = 10
Price/unit= RM10
Total stock value = RM100
Then, I goods issue 200 unit of stock A -
Stock qty = -190
Stock value = -RM1900
Then, I goods receipt 200 unit again at diff cost, & the accounting posting is :~
Dr Stock RM 2050
Cr GR/IR RM 3000
Dr Inv Adjustment RM 950
Just wondering How system calculate RM2050? Any idea? The MAP had now changed to RM15/ unit.

Then, I goods receipt 200 unit again at diff cost, & the accounting posting is

in the above case u have received the GRN with 15RM,
means the MAP is update with the new price,
and the difference 950 is also adjusted through inventory adjusted posting,

Calculation Field to be mapped to different data object's column name in Oracle BAM 12c

Hi,
I am having a challenge to enable drill down to 2nd level report by passing calculation field as parameter.
As an alternative, I am thinking to point calculation field to another data object’s column name and generate report so that I would be able to pass that as parameter to drilling report view.
Is there any way to map calculation field to different Data object’s column name? Thanks in advance.

1. Yes, you can.
SQL> create table ÜÝÞ( ßàá number(10));
Table created.
SQL> insert into ÜÝÞ values (10);
1 row created.1.1 and 1.2 and 2. You can choose UTF as your default character set. It allows the user of non-English characters in VARCHAR columns in your whole database. It is not per tablespace.

I have a 2nd gen iPod touch. Is it possible & how can or do I delete applications such as Nike + iPod, Game Center, Maps, Calculator, & other similar applications that I absolutely do not want or that I have major issues & prioblems using?

All the other apps can not be deleted but if you want to get rid of the icons go to setting>general>ristrictions>and disable the stuff that you want.

Input Parameter Mapping is not working in Sap HANA

Hi, We created on ANALYTICAL view(A) with Input Parameters, on top of Analytical view created one Calculation view(B) and mapped Calculation view input parameter with Analytical view input paramter and its working fine. Finally we created one more calculation view on top existing calculation view(B) and mapped with corresponding input parameters. Input parameter mapping is working fine in between A(analytical view) and --------> B (first Calc view) but input parameter mapping is not working properly in between B(first Calc View)-----------C(second Calc View). it is giving all data whatever is coming from Calc View B. Kindly help us to resolve this.

Moving average price calculation logic of material with Price Control "S"

Dear Gurus,
As you know that there is a Moving price and standard price icon in the material master.
I want to understand the calculation logic of the moving average price of the materials having price control "S"
How the system calculates the MAP for standard price materials? The receipt from the process order I suppose is valuated at the process order cost after settlement, but if the issue has hapened for the material does the system recalculate the issue price also?
Below is the sample process order receipt and issue scenario:
Receipt from process order 161000000223
300 kg and GR at standard cost value is Rs 5892
Issue to process order 162000000294
250 kg and GI at standard cost value is Rs 4910.
Thus the balance at period end is 50 kg and balance at standard cost value is Rs 982.
Here in process order 161000000223 the actual cost is 10 Rs. Then how will the system calculate the MAP?

One of them will work depending upon your version and support pack
Expected MAP calculation ( As with price control V)
= ((Qty before transaction*MAP + Transaction Qty * transaction
Price)) / quantity after transaction
New Method ( when price control is S)
= Old MAP + (Price Variance w.r.t Standard Price/Qty after transaction)

Update COGS, if MAP is Zero

Dear All,
MAP of Material (MM03-> Accounting View) is Zero, for which you have created the Sales Order. If the price is Zero, we passing weighted avg price to VPRS condition type in sales order using pricing routine( business requirement)but at the time of PGI, system is not generating any accounting document i.e. (COGS).
Please suggests, how to update the COGS in this case.

Cost Center is already mapped.
If moving avg price in zero, accounting document will not generate, this is the Standard behavior of the system. My scenario is, I have manually calculated MAP is available. But when do PGI, how to map calculated moving avg price, so that accounting document will get generate.

Iphone 6 + iOS 8 problems. Halp!

I own an iPhone 6 + 64gb. It was installed with iOS 8 and worked fine for a small period of time.
But, unexpectedly, landscape mode stopped working for the iPhone settings menu, the weather app and the home screen and some others apps.
Videos still work in landscape and so do messages, notes, photos, calendar, Maps, calculator, contacts, etc. So the problem seems to be a bit random.
I add that I did not leave the orientation lock button on.
The view I chose when I first powered my iPhone is zoomed and it hasn't been changed ever since. (so in a nutshell, landscape mode worked fine and now it's not)
I installed iOS 8.0.2 and it didn't solve the issue.
Apart from that, I used to have tabs in Safari just below the search / URL bar (like on an iPad)... I could switch easily by tapping the tab I wanted but now they're gone.
Finally, I used a save from my iPhone 4 so I managed to keep 4 years' worth of messages. But unfortunately, these messages can't be searched for in Spotlight. Only the new ones I sent and received with my iPhone 6+. Is that normal?
I feel like Apple is starting to act like MS and is using their customers as beta testers.
Can anyone help ?

Apparently the Messages search has been fixed...
Still having troubles with some apps which won't use landscape mode when they should but overall iOS 8.1 has received noticeable improvements

Material valuation based on Invoice price

Dear SAPERS,
Please provide some help regarding one of my clients requirement.
My client wants to calculate the material cost or price based on FIFO invoice price at the time of Issuing materials from store to any consumption.(instead of standard or MAP calculation)
Ex. Material ABC is procured in two different purchase orders from different vendors or may be same member.
those quantties and price are
P.O.No. 1
Quantity 10
Invoice price is Rs. 10 each
P.O. No. 2
Quantity 5
Invoice price is Rs. 12 each
At the time of issue till fist 10 Nos the accounts should be updated with price Rs. 10, after 10Nos the accounts should be updated with price Rs.12 each.

Unable to check text messages or missed phone calls on 4s

everytime i try to check my text messages it goes to a blank screen and then back to the main screen. In addition I cannot check my email.
i am also trying to delete an app and it will not delete. Pls help!

The answer to your first problem-the app sometimes crashes if you tap the hyperlink to the messages or mail app when you recieve a notification. i know this happens to me all the time when using my iphone 4s. the solution is to launch the app after you have tried tapping the notification and it crashes.
second problem-what is the name of the application you are trying to delete. if it is a native apple app, such as passbook, maps, calculator, or photos, you will not be able to delete from the home screen unfortunetaly.

Demand planning Forecast errors and KPI to store results of error

I have following requirement: keep traceabilitity of hypothesis and forecast error results of former mass process .
In comparison tool, we can compare the result of last interactive forecast run but our requirement is to store those result for KPI purpose.
Is it possible without extra development ? ( built not yet done, we are in design phase)

If we want to extarct standard statistical forecast errors( like MAD, MAPE) calculated in the interactive or batch runs of statistical forecasting , then, to my understanding, development is required. A short detail is given below:
We need to develop macros for calculation of Univariate forecast erros : MAD and MAPE. New planning book and data views may be required to becreated Some extra Key figures also will be needed ,used for storing the values.
The macros runs can be run through batch jobs.These calculated forecast errors of MAD and MAPE then can be compared with the system calculated MAD and MAPE during interactive / batch runs.
The error data can be extracted and stored in the infocubes.
Please check and confirm.

Metadata Integrator

I have problems to get the Metadata Integrator work properly. When I'm doing a lineage analysis from a report in the Management Console I got the error message "Unable to retrieve columns from Data Services".
Data Services 3.1 is running on a Win 2003 server and BOE XIR2 SP2 on another Win 2003 server. I have installed the Metadata Integrator component on the BOE server and it's executing without any problems.
Anyoney who have seen the error message before?

you will get this message if there is some problem with getting the details of column from Dataservices Repositroy for the filed/column used in the Report
is the column mapping calculated successfully for the repository ?
is it happening for lineage of one report or for all the reports ?
if you know the table and datastore from which the columns are coming for this report, try checking the lineage for that table from the Datastore, or other report where this column could be used
