Mapping every row to an idoc with same header

hi,
i have record:
recordset 1..1
Header 1..1
Row      0..unbounded
i want to map it to :
idoc 0...unbounded
Header 1..1
Row     1..1
i want every row in source will create an idoc. every idoc will have same header but different row.
can u please explain how do i do that?
thanks,
Tomer

Hi,
Map row node with IDOC node. It will create an IDOC per row.
Now map header node with header node. Between the header nodes you have to create a User defined function commonlly named CopyPerValue:
public Void copyPerValue (String[] a, String []b, ResultList result, Container container){
for (int i=0; i<a.length; i++){
      result.addValue(b[0]);
You have to map row with a. And header with b.

  • Two idocs with same idoc number in idx5

    We are using an idoc to file scenario where idocs are bundled using bpm and posted to ftp. here the issue is we are getting two idocs with same idoc number in idx5. due to which the file in ftp is getting overwritten.
    Could anyone suggest me what to do in this regard.

    Hi,
    >>>check your sender system is sending same IDoc twice ?
    if you send the same IDOC twice they both get different numbers as IDOC number is taken from the IDOC num range
    unless you're able to send the same IDOC twice with the same IDOC num somehow

    Was that IDOC ended with status 53? If so then I donu2019t think if you could able to edit the segments and reprocess straight forward.
    If that IDOC has been ended with Error then just edit this IDOC(WE02>Double click on segment then from menu "Data record>change") now the status has been change to 69. then just reprocess with BD87.
    NOW, if your IDOC has ended with 53 and you want to edit this then a minute work-around we have to do. Like first change the IDOC status from 53 to 69 then do the same like for error one,
    Cheers

  • Idocs processing time between 2 idocs with same material

    Hi Gurus
    we are getting 2 idocs from other system with same material, first idoc is process successfully, second one is not processing and error throughing - material is currently processing by user WF BATCH. can we set time gap between 2 idocs for processing, where we need to do this?
    Thanks in Advance
    Ramki

    Hi Ramki,
    There is another option which you can consider with the help of an ABAPPER. Check if you can use the concept of enqueing.
    Ex: When the idoc comes in the SAP system and updates the material quantity in the sales order, it has to get in to the VA02 in order to do this. Now when another idoc is sent along with this simulataneously to update something in the same order, it fails as the order is open by the first idoc.
    In this case we write a check in the posting program and check if the order (Order number we get from the idoc) is open or enqued.
    If it is enqued then there is a delay by calling an event. This event triggers a job which has a certain delay inserted in it before running.
    Hope this helps..

  • RH11: Word export: Subchapters are generated with same heading as chapter above

    Dear community,
    when I export my RH project to word, RH generates for each chapter (that has any subchapters) an additional subchapter with the same heading as the chapter above. In the project as in the chm export, the chapter does have content (as I want). But not in the word export.Here the chapter is empty,its content is put into that new subchapter. Got me?
    You can see what is happening in the export dialog.
    So whats happening there, what do I wrong?
    Thanks for your support!

    Sorry, you did post an image.
    It looks like you have created a book with the same name as the first topic. In the document you should see a book called Ubersicht followed by a topic called Ubersicht.
    The document is following the structure you have defined. I think what you are wanting is that Ubersicht is not indented one level as shown. Use the Left arrow above.
    I also suspect you have the book in the online help set up to open the topic. Experiment with that unlinked.
    This is all covered in the pages on my site. It does take a little trial and error to get it working as you want but it will become obvious.
    Hope that solves it for you.

  • Query to insert a row in a table with same values except 1 field.

    Suppose I have a table with 100 columns(fields).
    I want to insert a row with 99 fileds being the same as previous ones except one fileld being different.
    The table doesn't have any constraints.
    Kindly suggest a query to solve the above purpose..

    And for much more lazy people, a desc of table is shorter to write. :-)
    Then copy & paste into any editor, then mode column to add a comma after every column name in one shot.Or have the system do it for you. Be lazy.
    SELECT Column_Name || ',' FROM User_Tab_Columns where Table_Name = '';
    Indeed, it can be converted to a script called desc(.sql)
    SELECT Column_Name || ',' FROM User_Tab_Columns where Table_Name = '&1' ORDER BY Column_Id;
    Then desc or @desc.

  • Possible to use both Front Row AND Media Central with same Apple Remote?

    Dear Fellow Mac Users,
    I have just got a copy of Media Central as i want to use it to view movie files with due to its great codec support. however due to its slightly sluggish and cumbersome design i'd like to continue to use front row for my itunes and dvd needs. whatsmore i'd like to be able to command both programs when i want them using my apple remote. is this possible?
    Tim

    Yes. I do this right now - mainly using Media Central, and switching to Front Row if I have .mkv files to watch.
    What I do is since you hit "Menu" to load Front Row, I just went into MediaCentral's preferences and had "Play" launch MediaCentral. Once you are in one, it 'grabs' the remote commands, so you shouldn't have to worry about it loading the other program.

    the IDOC type should seem like this:
    header

    > detail
    but it seem that BDBP has not effect and the IDOC type seem like this:
    header
    detail
    i am trying to create the heirarchy so that the mapping in XI should be easier.
    could you help me please?
    what am i missing?

    hi Gaurav,
    this won't work as the structure of the idoc in the SAP system is different from what you suggest.
    so the SAP system won't recognize the heirarchy which i define the XSD.
    i want to change the heirarchy in the SAP System and when i import it to the PI i will have it and i won't need to do any changes to the XSD.

  • Idoc with XSLT Mapping ALE service error

    Hi all,
    I have the same problem with "converting to an ALE logical system".
    In this case I have a Business System without logical system name in the SLD. This information for the IDoc control record, like SNDPOR, I will map with a xslt mapping.
    In weblogs from Michael are the properties for the directory described.
    /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/09/01/xi-idoc-adapter--edidc40--demystified
    I selected in the comminication channel the last two check boxes, as described in SAP help.
    "Take Sender from Payload
    If you want to take the sender of the message from the payload and not from the configuration information in the Integration Directory, set this indicator.
    If you do not set the indicator, the information is taken from the configuration in the Integration Directory.
    Take Receiver from Payload
    If you want to take the receiver of the message from the payload and not from the configuration information in the Integration Directory, set this indicator.
    If you do not set the indicator, the information is taken from the configuration in the Integration Directory.
    If you set both of the above indicators, you do not require a heading mapping and do not need to set the alternative identifiers.
    However, you must ensure that the SNDPRN, SNDPRT, RCVPRN, and RCVPRT fields are set in the IDoc control record.
    Setting the senders and receivers of a message from the payload simplifies configuration and speeds up processing.
    If the sender and receiver are not set correctly in the payload, the resulting error is only visible in the receiving system. "
    In my XSLT-Mapping I set the appropriate Idoc fields:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
    <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
    <xsl:output method="xml"/>
    <xsl:preserve-space elements="*"/>
    <xsl:template match="DATEN">

    <RCVPRT>LS</RCVPRT>
    </EDI_DC40>
    <xsl:variable name="pid" select="substring(.,1,1)"/>
    But in the sxmb_moni the message is red with the error message :" converting to an ALE logical system"
    Have you any idea?
    With another interface I used a graphic Mapping and the same properties in the directory and it works.
    Bye

    Hi togehter,
    it works now, after cpa_cache and sxi_cache.

  • Mapping every record in a given message type to an IDoc

    Hi all,
    As per the requirement, I have a message type which stores a number of records from the database. The root node of the message type repeats as many times as the number of records. I need to map this message type to an IDoc with an IDoc created for each record. However, the pre-defined structure of IDoc has the root node occuring only once. Can the mapping of every record to an IDoc be acheived by using Message tab of the message mapping to have the IDoc occurence as 0..unbounded?
    Thanks,
    Amit

    Hi,
      In message mapping Change the occurence of the IDOC as 0 to unbounded in the Target message inside Messages Tab.
    Also change the occurrence of IDOC in the Interface mapping as 0 to unbounded.
    Thanks,
    Tiny

  • How to transfer one file to multi sap with same IDOC Type?

    Hi all!
    I need your help..
    My senario is tansfer one xml-file to multi-sap server
    with same IDOC type.
    IS it possible to transfer without BPM?
    I think that the way not using bpm is impossble,
    because the file is deleted by sender adapter.
    If I'm using BPM, how to design?
    I consider 'fork' or 'switch',
    but, I guess,
    Idoc is will be initialized by other branch at last step.
    I hope good information.
    Regards.

    Hi,
    you can create using BPM .
    IR
    you need to create source for one interface and trager for two differnent interfaces.
    suppose if you are doing message mapping in message tab source is one interface targer is multiple interface..so that source can map multiple interfaces...
    create the Interface mapping one source two are target interfaces.
    Create the Integration proces...
    First step is receive step next use the Transformation Step that means source message it will conver two targets...then use the Fork step Recever Determination step goes to the first Send step..
    again drag the another receiver determination and use tge send step..close the FORK step.
    regards,
    venu.

    is this possible using the graphical mapping?

    Hi Baheej,
    If in your input "E1CSKTM" segment always occurs twice than u can go with the above UDF mentioned by Chirag and also u need to take care that field (LTEXT) also always occurs.If the field does not occur always than you need to check it using exists functions.
    Andmoreover if the "E1CSKTM" segment does occur more than twice than u need to create a UDF where u need to pass the values alternatively.
    Please check the above details and let us know if any furthur enhancements are to be made.
    Thanks,
    Bhargav
