Mapping Number Problem
HI all,
i create my project on OWB 10 and after i deploy it on OWB 11gR2 and everything works good, despite of the external tables data don't show numbers with comma, my flat file (csv) has data like ( 123,43) and i don't find in the external table any data which is decimal ,how i can fix this .

Basically it tells you to create a VARCHAR2 column for the numbers and to format in a view/ETL logic that uses the external table.
CREATE VIEW v_exttable2 AS
SELECT field1, TO_NUMBER(field2) field2, field3
FROM exttable2
Now, a select from v_exttable2 loads the data but depends on what NLS_SESSION_PARAMETERS you have set:
* when NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS is set in your session to '.,' then you can load data that contains dots as decimal separator.
* when NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS is set in your session to ',.' then you can load data that contains commas as decimal separator.

Aperture 2 install - serial number problem
Disclaimer: I'm pretty good on a pc. Absolutely terrible on Mac, never had so many problems with tech :/
So...I have my serial number from the back of the Aperture 2 "Installing your software" booklet. Checked that I'm entering "I's" not "1's." Got dashed between the sequences. Capslock on etc. Searched forum, quite a few posts on serial number problems. None matched.
Enter serial number. Second window pops up stating I've entered an upgrade serial number (I only have the expired trial version of Aperture installed), and requesting my "serial number."
I'm lost now. Checked my original docs, there's nothing on Aperture trial version. Fired up the trial and I see what looks like a license key (to Apple, not me) on the launch screen. That's not accepted by Aperture 2.

There is a tiny label on the bottom edge of the box. Mine says "Aperture 2.0 Retail". The tiny label on my box for Final Cut Express 4 says "Final Cut Express 4.0 UPG". Does yours not say "UPG" on that little label? If not, you should be able to return it for the full version (plus pay the difference, of course). If it does say "UPG" you might be out of luck as most open software can't be returned. -

I downloaded first the trial version of Photoshop, after 30 days finished but the icon still remained.
Now, when purchased a creative suite 4 Designe premium, installed, all programs are fine, just the photoshop not working, asking for serial number but when I type the right numbers, doesn`t accept.
What can I do? any idea?
to uninstall the photoshop and install again?

I have tried to install both of them lots of times but in each case I receive the same in my XE.bat file:

Have checked OS 1387 error at Microsoft Support and as possible cause of the problem they give as follows:
This issue can occur if the environment has a disjointed namespace (i.e. the domain has different NetBIOS and DNS names). For example, assume that the domain has a NetBIOS name of "domain.com" and a DNS name of "domain-old.com." When users are added in the Windows UI, they are displayed in the format of domain\ComputerName. However, you notice in the error log that there was an attempt to add a computer account in the format of domain-old\ComputerName. (System Center 2012 R2 Data Protection Manager install fails and generates ID: 4323: "A member could not be added")
Tried to find out my DNS name, but it is impossible because I don't have any domain installed and my machine is not connected to it. Some other blog (Install Oracle 11gR2 on Windows) advices to work with adding my computer account to some non-real windows domain (just for the purpose of resolving the network) as well and reinstall the database then. If I undestand it right I need minimum 2 machines for this. But I own just one, where the server is based and thought that is enough to run the database... no idea .. -
Unable to interpret u3030u0081@ as a number - problem

We've got problem with BPMs which use graphical (java) mapping. In SXI_MONITOR such processes have "Message being sent" status. In process engine workflow log it stops at mapping step with "In process" status. Technical details show that there is a tRFC call which fails with "Unable to interpret 〰@ as a number.". This is also visible in ST22. BPM without mapping works without any problems. Test mapping in integration repository works fine.
Has anyone got any ideas?

Have you tested your mapping using the actual source message that caused the error in BPM?
From the BPE monitor copy-n-paste the actual message into the Interface Mapping test tool.

IPhoto 8.1 Garmin Oregon 550t map display problem
I am trying to view photos captured by a Garmin Oregon 550t in iPhoto. The locations shown on the map are wrong.
Further investigation of the previously reported problem with iPhoto 8.1 displaying incorrect location information in the map display reveals that the EXIF information captured by the Oregon 550t is unusual in that it captures the longitude as a large number of seconds with 0 minutes. e.g. Longitude: W 105° 0' 810.000116 as reported by EXIF Viewer.
This unusual format seems to throw off iPhoto.
Aperture interprets the data correctly reporting Longitude 105º 13' 30.000" W.

What version of iPhoto '09 do you have (8.1 is the latest) - some earlier versions had some issues with some types of GPS data - I've not seen any such issues since 8.0.3 (I think)

Personal number problem in the Custom HCM Process
We developed custom ESS-MSS application using Webdynpro ABAP and SAP HCM is backend for employees,Managers and HR data.
User A has custom ess role and standard ess(Webdynpro java ESS-MSS business package)
First time in the Custom ess role Employee(User A) try to change the personal information it is giving error
"Process Zxxx only useful if personnel number is specified"
If the Same Employee(User A) clicks the Standard ESS role and Come back to the custom ESS role and try to change the Employee
information the HCM process is working
After Clicking Std ESS role and Come back to the Custom ESS role the error does not exist.

We have mapped the user for the employee at PA30 trans through communication info 105 and sub 0001
The iview, does not give any error
if we execute
1.Standard Employee self service
2.then running our custom role and hence custom iview
In the appintegrated iview, we are calling asr_process_execute (WD ABAP standard application) with the parameter
Process=Zxxx&GET_PERNR=X&PERNR_MEM_ID=ESS01
We found thatthere was an entry for this user at table "indx" when we execute Standard Employee self service.
Also,
If the table "INDX" has an entry for the user, then our custom iview runs with out any error, since the value for the
MEMID= ESS01 exists.
Apart from mapping the user through comm info type 105, what we shoud do to have an entry for this user at table "INDX"

House Bank number problem with BSP import

I have a problem when i import an bank statement that i get an error that the house banknumber is not the same as in de import file. I believe the problem is that in de house bank definition in SAP there are dots (.) between the housebank number like 12.56.58.789 and in the import file on row :25 there are no dots between the number 125658789. Does anybody know how to solve this problem ? i tried something with the add-on format definition and find out that the field "AccountInfo" need some changes.
The expression that is used in the bfp file is (?<=:25:)[^\r\n]*(?=\r\n)

The rule for importing data from a bank statement is that house bank account defined in B1 and the data filled into account number field should match bit by bit. So in your case there are two options:
1. change the account number definition in B1 to remove all the dots.
2. if that's impossible, you have to change the BFP file via Format Definition add-on to insert the dots into the pure digit series. that could be done by assigning a mapping method to the account number field.
use concat() function and substring() function together. about the usage of the function ,you can refer to the online help of the tool.

One as many node function takes 3 inputs, first is the source value second is the Howmany times the source value should repeat and third one is where the context should change, here 2nd and 3rd input count should same, otherwise it shows an exception.

I've got a MBP running Mtn Lion. Messages will not bring up, nor can I add my iPhone's cell number to my Messages account.
My iPhone is running iOS 5.1.1.
Having said that, my wife's iPhone, running iOS 6.0.1 is showing up as the default number on my Messages account. Apparently when an iPhone is running iOS 6, it will show up as a possible phone number for Messages...
Messages has a bit of double-speak associated with this problem. The Messages help pages indicate that the phone numbers that show up are those associated with the Apple ID (but they don't on my system). However, I've read (and darned if I can't find the text again, now), that an iPhone running iOS 6 will show up as a number for the Apple ID...
I've tried adding my phone number to the "add email address" field (per another thread's solution), but this hasn't worked for me...
So, short of upgrading my iPhone's iOS (which I'd rather not do until the iOS 6 maps fiasco has been remedied, or Google Maps is available as an app, again), is anyone aware of a fix to this problem...
Any thoughts?!?!

To get the Mac App Messages and an iPhone to get the iPhone Number into Message as a Send and Receive item you have to be on OS X 10.8.2 and iOS 6 at least.
At iOS 5.1.1 the Message App on the iPhone will only "sync" the iMessages sent to the iPhone that were sent to the Apple ID.
The iPhone Number's Messages will not sync to the Messages app on the Mac.
iMessages sent to the iPhone Number therefore tend to be "private" from the syncing that is going on with iMessages to the Apple ID
Apple uses the word "sync" but "Display on all devices" is a more accurate description as what you do with the iMessage on one device does not show up on others.
You will have noticed that on the iPhone in Settings > Messages that the "Receive at" has become Send and Receive and includes the iPhone Number.
This is replicated to some extent in the Messages version 7.0.1 (At the OS X 10.8.2 update) with the iPhone Number(s) being a Send From option in the drop down at the bottom.

Goods receipt MB01 with serial number problem
Dear MM Experts,
Iam a PM Consultant and this problem faced me while doing goods receipt from external maintenance order so i will appreciate any help regarding this issue,
In serial number profiles i did the stock check indicator to give an error message if there were incosistinces in stock data,
now this is the scenario:
after doing an external maintenance order and creating a PO with reference to the maintenance order PR, and also entering the specified serial number in the PO:
1) Goods Issuing: i used MB1B with movement type 541 and as the serial number already exist and not wrong so it didnt show any error messages and by checking the stock data in MMBE the material was in stock provided to vendor.
2) Goods Receipt: when using MB01 with movement type 101 and when entering the serial number of the material it gives an error message ALTHOUGH it is the same serial number issued and the same serial number in the PO
This is the error message :
Stock data of serial number G081 not suitable for movement
Message no. IO231
Diagnosis
The current stock information for the serial number G081 contradicts the stock information of the movement to be posted. The following stock information is valid for the document and the serial number: Batch Number Stock data Serial data C2
Only the first different field for the stock data/serial data is assigned. However, further data may also be inconsistent. To determine whether this is the case, you can start an analysis.
System Response
Two system responses are possible (set using Customizing): If the case of an error occurring, the assignment of the serial number to this posting procedure is not possible. In the case of a warning, you can, if necessary, transfer the notification.
Procedure
Assign a serial number which corresponds in your stock information to the stock data of the posting. You can display the serial numbers which can be used using Select serial numbers.

A possibility to fix serial number status is by running the report RISTEQ07 in SE38 transaction. Please run this report as mentioned in the SAP Note 316868 (point 2).
While running the report please consider following points:
The report does not set any locks on the records to be corrected, in other words, the report should only then be executed in the correction mode if the master records (within the client) are not being used in another (changing) access.
During the search for inconsistent serial numbers, the system assumes that the stock segment is correct and the existence indicator might be incorrect.
In the correction mode, the existence indicator is adjusted (depending on the existence of the stock segment).
The report provides a test option (LP_TEST); if this option is active, the system only checks whether inconsistencies exist. Corrections are only carried out if the test mode is deactivated. Option LP_EXTD for the enhanced check should remain deactivated for the first run. In particular, if no inconsistency is recognized, the run should be repeated with the activated option.
Another possibility is to create/post a physical inventory document for the affected material and serial number.
Determine which material serial number is really on stock (physically on stock). You can do this, by either analyzing the history of each Serial Number or by carrying out a physical inventory.
Before posting the Physical Inventory the stock validation of the serial number profile of the material has to be switched off in OIS2 transaction (if it is switched on).
When you do this, you will get a Pop-up, please read the long text and execute the report RISERNR9 which is mentioned there.
After executing this report the inventory can be posted. When this is done please switch stock validation on again and execute report RISERNR9 again.
Perform this inconsistency correction only when you are sure that no one else is working on the system otherwise it could lead to more inconsistencies while the stock validation is switched off. Check SAP Note 612132 for further details.
In another words, you have to:
Create a physical inventory in MI01 transaction;
Enter a counted quantity in MI04 transaction;
Define each serial number to each qty on stock.

Maps Location Problems - PLEASE HELP
I have an 8 Gb iphone with firmware 1.1.4 and am trying to use the maps location feature. it will not work unless i turn my WiFi off and then try to locate and once i have been located i can turn WiFi back on and get a more accurate location. even if i am not connected to WiFi but i still have the WiFi feature turned on it will not work. please help
I recall this post before. Were you the same one that posted it? The Google map location function seems to be the problem here, and it could be an issue with the application. Did you try the troubleshooting steps in order, power off/on, reset, restore? If you did and that doesn't seem to fix it, then I suggest a trip to the Apple Store Genius bar. I also find it interesting that once you get a location, that turning on the WiFi gets it more accurate. I've not seen that. The location goes out and gets its information from a webserver. If there is an issue connecting to their database, I don't know that you would get an error message. I think I posted the name of the server before, I just can't remember it now. There is a way to update location information with that service, it is posted on their webpage. I know I have the location saved on my desktop, it's is just that I'm away from home right now on my laptop. I'll see if I can find it for you.

Serial number problem upgrading from Tryout and 5.1 to 5.5 CS Standard

Long one...!
I bought a new iMac and CS5.5 Design Standard. Installed it. Didn't have my education serial at the time so ran as trial. All good.
Received serial from Adobe. Put it in and Indesign was OK with it and upgraded to 5.5, but others stayed as Tryouts. Reinstalled, same problem.
Contacted Adobe who said the serial was for Windows. After much messing around they issued another serial. Put it in. It changed when I put the disk in to try and reload. (Last four digit box changes itself to XXX). Other two packages went from Tryout to 5.1.
Uninstalled whole package and reinstalled using the code Adobe Support gave me. Indesign back as 5.5 but other two still only 5.1
Why might this be?

When I inserted the disk it came up with the serial loaded as ...............7313-xxx
Deleted all and reinstalled, IT! changed my code as above to ...............6201 and all seemed promising….... etc.!Have you bothered to do any research at all? Not every app was upgrade to 5.5. Those that weren’t will next be upgraded to CS6.
