Mapping URI with physical location

Hi All
in my web service, i have one method called getBase() which returns a URI
eg: http:://myserver:7001/myapp/data
Using this URI my clients are going to upload some file, my intention is that when they upload that file, the file has to be stored in some location which should be configurable. i mean when they upload some file, it has to go to some location ( can be other machine also). but the URI looks same...where can i do this mapping?
how can this be done?
Plz help!!!
Thanks,

in a database

    - The iPod uses the location of a nerby or connected router to determine it location based on a database of routers and their location. It appears that the routers near y are not in Appl'es database.  As of yet, nobody here seems to know how to get routers added to the database.

  • Execute a mapping deployed with OWB 9.0.4 from SQL*Plus

    Hello,
    I could execute a mapping designed with OWB 9.0.3 from SQL*Plus with the next sentence:
    SQL> exec my_mapping.main;
    But now, with OWB 9.0.4, mappings are deployed as functions (in 9.0.3 were deployed as procedures) and they need parameters.
    Somebody know how I can execute deployed mappings with OWB 9.0.4 from SQL*Plus? I don't know the parameters I need to call a mapping.
    Thanks in advance,
    Pedro.

    Well, I've solved the problem with roles but
    I've executed the script called sqlplus_exec_template.sql and it fails at Stage 2 because the next sentence
    l_audit_execution_id := wb_rt_api_exec.open(l_task_type, l_task_name, l_location_name);
    returns me NULL.
    It is not clear the value that the variable called l_location_name have to stored. The script explain that this variable store the physical name of the
    location to which the task was deployed. I understand that this variable have to store the schema where the mapping was deployed. That's right?
    So I called the script in this manner:
    SQL> @sqlplus_exec_template OWBRUN904I OJBHT PLSQL MY_MAPPING "," "," ;
    where OWBRUN904I is the name of the Runtime Repository Schema, OJBHT is the
    schema where MY_MAPPING is deployed, PLSQL is the task type and MY_MAPPING is
    the name of the mapping I've designed.
    Can you tell me why the scripts fails?

    Pedro

  • Mapping Files to Physical Devices

    Hi
    I'm reading 9i Oracle Administrator guide and there is a topic called "Mapping Files to Physical Devices", I'm reading it but I don't understand in what situation it can be useful. Please if anybody can give me a simpler explanation.
    Thanks.

    OK What you mean is that, for example, I have four
    disks on my server and my tablespaces have several
    datafiles each. so the Oracle utility allow me to
    know exactly the disk where my data is store in order
    to analize disk contention.
    Am I ok?
    Thanks.Almost - I mean that you have 4 disks with some partitions say in solaris speak - if you aren't familiar with the names then d0 is the first disk and p0 the first partition on that disk and so on
    /dev/dsk/c1t0d0p0
    /dev/dsk/c1t0d0p1
    /dev/dsk/c1t0d1p0
    /dev/dsk/c1t0d2p0
    /dev/dsk/c1t0d2p1
    /dev/dsk/c1t0d2p2now your lvm has presented some of those disks to you as two mount points for oracle
    /dev/vg01/u01
    /dev/vg01/u02if you don't have an ability to map back to the device you won't know what physical devices the datafiles /dev/vg01/u01/oradata/orcl/system01.dbf and /dev/vg/u02/oradata/orcl/undotbs01.dbf are physically located on. It's this capacity that the FMON process activated by the FILE_MAPPING parameter gives you for certain LVMs.
    Me, I've mostly used SANs and map my /u01 /u02 filesystems to known mount points presented by my handy sysadmin, and she uses a complicated piece of software called excel to record what goes where!

Can I use the US Adobe site when in Ireland? Or will my physical location prevent me from doing so? 2. I am working for a not-for-profit organization. Is there a special pricing plan for non-profits, similar to the plans for students, small business, etc? Thanks for whatever help you can give me. (P.S. As a potential customer and past user of Adobe products for 15  years, I find it INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING that I cannot speak with any Adobe representative, but am continually re-routed instead to a public forum to get what I hope will be accurate information. Not good, Adobe. Your products are amazing. Your customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I don't mean that with disrespect, but as honest feedback.)

    Hi bookchic
    Thanks for your feedback.
    Non-profit pricing is available to eligible institutions via the VIP program which is sold by resellers - see Eligibility guide
    For details of resellers please check here: Adobe Platinum Partners – Value Incentive Plan
    If you wish to purchase an individual plan via Adobe.com the country of your Adobe ID will determine which site you order from.

  • Mapping problem with compressed key update record

    Hi, could you please advise?
    I'm getting the following problem:
    About a week ago replicat abened with "Error in mapping" error. I found in discard file some record looking like:
    filed1 = NULL
    field2 =
    field3 =
    field4 =
    field5 =
    datefield = -04-09 00:00:00
    field6 =
    field8 =
    field9 = NULL
    field10 =
    Where filed9 = @GETENV("GGHEADER", "COMMITTIMESTAM"), field10 = = @GETENV("GGHEADER", "COMMITTIMESTAM"), others are table fields mapped by USEDEFAULTS
    So I got Mapping problem with compressed key update record at 2012-06-01 15:44
    I guess I need to mention that extract failed in 5 minuts before it with: VAM function VAMRead returned unexpected result: error 600 - VAM Client Report <[CFileInfo::Read] Timeout expired after 10 retries with 1000 ms delay, waiting to read transaction log or backup files. To increase the number of retries, use SETENV (GGS_CacheRetryCount = n) in Extract parameter file. To control retry delay time, use SETENV (GGS_CacheRetryDelay = n). handle: 0000000000000398 ReadFile GetLastError:997 Wait GetLastError:997>.
    I don't know if it has ther same source as data corruption, could you tell me if it is?
    Well, I created new extract, starting 2012-06-01 15:30 to check if there was something with extract at the time, but got the same error.
    If I run extract beging at 15:52 it starts and works.
    But well, I got another one today. Data didn't look that bad, but yet one column came with null value:( And I'm using it as a key column, so I got Mapping problem with compressed key update record again:(
    I'm replicating from SQL Server 2008 to Oracle 11g.
    I'm actually using NOCOMPRESSUPDATES in Extract.
    CDC is enabled for all tables replicated. The only thing is that it is enabled not by ADD TRANDATA command, but by SQL Server sys.sp_cdc_enable_table, does it matter?
    Could you please advise why does it happen?

    Well, the problem begins somewhere in extract or before extract, may be in transaction log, I don't know:(

  • Hyperlink - The physical location in the page

    When I export the A PDF file, how do I know the physical location of the hyperlink in the output page (coordinates)
    I need to export from Indesign
    - Hyperlink physical location (# page & XY coordinates)
    TIA

    I guess I'm misunderstanding the question, then.
    I don't quite understand what you're trying to accomplish with this task. How does Excel factor into this? What value is it to have a report of x and y coordinates for an Acrobat page? This sounds like something you'd need for html coding, not a print document. If so, the pages should be exported as html pages, not Acrobat pdf files, from your original. I only ask because I have a feeling you might be creating way more work or expense for yourself than you need to be. The more information you can provide, the better advice you'll probably get.
    If you need a report of x and y coordinates, I'm thinking Acrobat is the wrong application. It's not really a web design app. I don't have Dreamweaver here at my office, but I seem to remember that all that information is available if you open your pages in Dreamweaver, and there may be a way of extracting a report with just what you need. You might try asking your question on the Dreamweaver forum, if that's the route that makes more sense for what you're trying to do.

  • Kernel panic in paticular physical location only

    overview: Mac always crashes with kernel panic in particular physical location, but everywhere else it has never crashed.
    In an office I recently visited, my Macbook Pro exhibited this behaviour:
    when starting up, it crashed with a kernel panic (curtain falls, asks to reboot in various languages). If start up in safe mode, then it works fine. Starting up in single user mode and running fsck reported no problems. Starting up from system DVD and running disk tools repair also reports no problems. But normal startup still fails in same way. I then did a new OS install from DVD and problem persisted then as well.
    note that machine is using bootcamp, and I could successfully boot into Windows in the above location.
    In every other physical location I have tried, the laptop behaves normally. I cannot replicate the above behaviour anywhere else; but at the above location, it will always crash.
    In the said location the computer will crash with no physical connection to anything: no power, no network cable, no peripherals.
    The only thing that might be regarded as odd about the above location that I could find, is that there were a number of wireless networks visible, around 10 or 12.
    Could it be that the mere presense of the wireless networks is causing the kernel panic?
    Macbook Pro Intel Core 2 duo   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    thanks for your post
    More likely that the wireless router you are
    connecting to in that location doesn't have an
    upgraded firmware. Mind you, there is an upgraded
    software for the MacBook Pro wireless which may
    help:
    http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/airportupdate20
    06002.html
    i don't know what wireless networks were there. It is possible there was an apple router but unlikely
    If that does not help, run the hardware test that
    came with your machine:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303081
    yes, that is something I haven't yet done, but will be doing tonight
    ANd if that does not help, call AppleCare:

    already contacted them to let them know

  • Physical location of hyperlinked files when generating printed documentation from webhelp project

    Hi,
    I produce webhelp and the customers have requested that printed documentation is also generated from my help project so that they can have an electronic/paper version.
    I have several hyperlinks in the help project, to PDF/Word files, and have found that in the printed documentation, when you click on the hyperlink, it is trying to find the document in the physical location from which the help project was created. This means that the hyperlinked documents only open on my PC because I own the physical location. Other users, particuarly our customers, end up with an error message because it is trying to find a location they do not have access to.
    Does anybody know a solution to this please?

    The problem with links inside PDF / Word files is that you have no control over where the files reside. Therefore you can't specify a path that will work as it depends on the physical file's location. What you could do is publish the PDFs / Word files to an online location that are accessible by a URL.

  • Db_file parameter change in oracle 8i with physical standby configured

    i have oracle 8i (8.1.7) with physical standby configured.
    i need to change the db_file parameter value. kindly check the below steps are correct? Thanks.
    1. alter database backup controlfile to trace;
    2. edit the init.ora file as db_file=<new value> (after backing up the existing pfile)
    3. edit the create control file statement in udump -- max datafile (and also remove the first line startup nomount)
    4. shutdown immediate;
    5. startup pfile ='file name';
    6. in sqlplus run the create control file statement;
    7. alter database backup controfl file for standby;
    8. move the standby control file to standby db server
    9. shutdown immediate in standby
    10. copy the pfile and edit the new values
    11. startup mount pfile='new pfile' (in standby)
    12. recover control file <location> from rman
    13. start the recovering of standby.
    Thanks,
    Raman.

    Just change the db_files value to some higher value in the init.ora file and restart the database. With this you can create more datafiles no need to create control file.

  • User Photo physical location in Who Is Who iView

    Hi ,
    Could you please let me know where will be the user photo physical location after uploading with Who Is Who iView.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    from UserPhotoService class I can see method getPhoto, where:
    public InputStream getPhoto(String uniqueID, String type)  {
    IUser user = getReadOnlyUser(uniqueID);
    byte photo[] = user.getBinaryAttribute("com.sap.ip.collaboration.ume", "photo" + type);
    return new ByteArrayInputStream(photo);
    So I would assume, that the photo is uploaded into the UME.

  • WCS Error - Position of Map Conflicts with Parent

    Hello All -
    I have a large scale drawing of a floor plan for a building.  I have added it to my campus and started adding APs.  When I saw the prediciton model, I realized I had forgotten to properly scale the drawing.  When I attempt to scale it, I get an error message stating:
    "Error:The given Width, Height or the position of Map conflicts with the parent(Building or Campus) Width 846.2 and Length 655.3. Please increase the size of the parent(Building or Campus) through the edit page and/or make sure Map is positioned correctly within parent through map edit page."
    I really don't know how to fix that.  I have increased the size of the building to match the 846.2/655.3, but then the box showing the building is HUGE on my campus map (Google Earth shot) and I still get the error.
    Regards,
    Scott

    Ok, so I was trying to size the building to EXACTLY what the error was specifying for the required new size, and it MUST be larger than the dimensions of the largest floor.  I made it a bit bigger, and now things look good.  However, the green square around the building on the campus map is HUGE and way out of proportion for my campus Google Earth map.  How do I fix that since the size of that square represents the size of the building?  Do I artificially make my Google Earth map larger?  If I do that, you will hardly see the pinpoints for the locations on the Google Earth map.
    Thanks,
    Scott

  • Logical Column Mapping to Multiple Physical?

    I am "learning" OBIEE still and a consultant today showed me something that totally blew my mind
    In the OBIEE Admin tool (in verson 10) there are 3 layers displayed. The physical, business management and presentation layer.
    I was under the impression that columns would be "mapped" one to one from each layer
    The consultant proved me wrong and showed me that in fact, when making a logical column that you can have it "map" to two physical column names
    Since every minute with the consultant is $$$ I tried to google around to find out why and how is this so but havent been able to find anything
    Could someone explain to me why this would be done?
    For example I have the logical column named "Home Faculty" and it is mapped to two physical columns "Faculty Short Desc" & "Main Faculty"
    How would OBIEE know which one to use when?
    Or does it simply "merge" the data between the two columns into one?

    In this case equi join.
    When you are using OBIEE try to see wrt fact table with Table 1 and 2 and follow as I suggest earlier.
    When you use Fact,Table 1 and 2
    Physical Layer Joins would be like:
    Fact join with Table 1
    Fact join with Table 2
    In BMM I can make 3 tables
    Like
    Fact
    dim 1
    dim 2
    Other case would be
    Physical Layer Joins would be like:
    Fact join with Table 1
    Fact join with Table 2
    Table 1's A1,A2 equals Table 2's A1,A2
    In BMM I can make 2 tables
    Like
    Fact
    dim sourcing 1 and 2
    a) 1 mapping with 2
    b) dim with LTS 1 and 2
    Hope this helps
    If I made it more confuse ;) send me email with US mobile# will call you back
    If helps mark

  • Where are the users startup items physically located?

    Hi all
    I messed around with my login items as I had a startup problem (very slow startup). I 've deleted the Microsoft AU Deamon, now I want to reinstall it from a backup - but where is the thing???
    Where are the users login items physically located?
    Thanks

    Where are the users login items physically located?
    The physical login item process could be located any where. Your ~/Library/Preferences/loginwindow.plist initiates login applications or processes.
