Mark for Redaction Missing

The 'Mark for Redaction' tool is missing from the Protection tools pane (I can only see Restrict Editing, Encrypt, More Protection and Remove Hidden Information). It is not a tool that I use often, but I have been able to see and use it in the past. I am using Adobe Acrobat XI version 11.0.10. Can anyone help?

Do you use Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Standard?

  • Mark for redaction utilities are not in my Tools

    I'm trying to a make redactions to a PDF and I don't believe the "mark for redaction" utilities are in my Tools.
    Is this a Mac Yosemite 10.10.2 issue?
    My trial expires in 2 days and if I can't redact there is no reason to buy the program. I have been doing this for over 7 years, but on a PC.
    Any suggestions

    Hi calw5594682,
    Do you mean 'Mark for redaction' option is missing under your tools pane?
    Please let me know what version of Acrobat are you using?

  • To find out the list of user profiles marked for deletion using powershell or C# for SharePoint 2010

    I have Disabled the MysiteCleanup timer Job and disabled few user profile accounts in AD.  Then in SharePoint user profile service, ran the User profile full synchronise job.
    I am able to find the marked for deletion records from the table (UserProfile_Full) in SQL server and also in the Manage User profile menu of the central admin under "Profile missing from import"
    view.  But  am not getting these records, If I execute the  below powershell command.
    $upa = Get-spserviceapplication -name 'User Profile Service Application'
    Set-SPProfileServiceApplication $upa -GetNonImportedObjects $true
    This command shows only the system account and not the accounts, which are marked for deletion .
    Please suggest how to get this result.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Yoga

    What result do you get hen use use type below in powershell

  • Vim-like window marking for any EWMH window manager

    This is really small and simple tool that runs in the background and lets you mark any window using any letter (a-z) and then jump back to it whenever you want. (Even if you're on a different desktop.)
    Right now, all you can do is assign a mark to a window and jump to it. I'll probably add another option that lets you bring a window to the current desktop.
    For example, while in Gmail press Super+m then hit 'g'. Browse to some other desktop, and when you want to check your mail press Super+' and then hit 'g'. So the idea is to have two keybindings; one for marking and one for jumping. After you've initiated one of the keybindings, window-marker expects one more letter to complete the command.
    The keybindings can be set on the command line.
    usage: window-marker [-h] [-m KEYBINDING] [-g KEYBINDING]
    Vim-like marks for windows.
    optional arguments:
      -h, --help            show this help message and exit
      -m KEYBINDING, --mark KEYBINDING
                            keybinding to add a mark (default: Mod4-m)
      -g KEYBINDING, --goto KEYBINDING
                            keybinding to goto a mark (default Mod4-apostrophe)
    Using window-marker is exactly like using marks in vim. Namely, by pressing
    the keybinding for "mark", window-marker then listens for one more letter
    (a-z) to be entered. Whichever letter is entered will now be associated with
    the active window.
    If you now want to go back to that window (even if you're
    on a different desktop), simply press the keybinding for "goto" and then enter
    the letter you used to mark the window.
    To set your own keybinding, please
    consult /usr/include/X11/keysymdef.h and the output of `xmodmap`. The `xev`
    program may also be useful.
    It's in the AUR.

  • Strange redaction issue with no color fill for redacted area

    I have it set for No Color in the redacted area fill color.  When I mark my redaction, choose apply redaction, the selected area is still shown.  When I save the file, exit, and then re-open, the redaction is gone like it is supposed to.  Now if I choose a redacted area fill color, mark my redaction and then apply, the color fill area works.  I have to redact many pages daily, and having to save and reopen to verify my work is very time consuming.  The weird thing is that it doesn't happen to every document that I'm working on.  I'm using Adobe 11.0.07.  Any solution greatly appreciated!  Thanks.

    That makes sense.  I guess the documents i was having trouble with were all scanned documents.  I never had troubles with any documents that haven't been scanned.  But on some parts of those scanned documents, which is all white background, the no color fill works, and some spots it doesn't.  I thought maybe you could see spots where it fills in white.  I will just use the white back ground.  Thanks.

  • ConvertToClob and byte order mark for UTF-8

    We are converting a blob to a clob. The blob contains the utf-8 byte representation (including the 3-byte byte order mark) of an xml-document. The clob is then passed as parameter to xmlparser.parseClob. This works when the database character set is AL32UTF8, but on a database with character set WE8ISO8859P1 the clob contains an '¿' before the '<'AL32UTF8');
    I would assume that the ConvertToClob function would understand the byte order mark for UTF-8 in the blob and not include any parts of it in the clob. The byte order mark for UTF-8 consists of the byte sequence EF BB BF. The last byte BF corresponds to the upside down question mark '¿' in ISO-8859-1. Too me, it seems as if ConvertToClob is not converting correctly.
    Am I missing something?
    code snippets:
    l_lang_context number := 1;
    dbms_lob.createtemporary(l_file_clob, TRUE);
    dbms_lob.convertToClob(l_file_clob, l_file_blob,l_file_size, l_dest_offset,
                                       l_src_offset, l_blob_csid, l_lang_context, l_warning);
    procedure fetch_xmldoc(p_xmlclob in out nocopy clob,
                                       o_xmldoc out xmldom.DOMDocument) is
    parser xmlparser.Parser;
    begin
      parser := xmlparser.newParser;
      xmlparser.parseClob(p => parser, doc => p_xmlclob);
      o_xmldoc := xmlparser.getDocument(parser);
      xmlparser.freeParser(parser);
    end;The database version is 10.2.0.3 on Solaris 10 x86_64

  • Crop marks for Center Cut in Title Safe?

    I have recently picked up Premiere Pro 5.5 after the whole Final Cut Pro X fiasco, and a feature I loved and used all the time in Final Cut Pro 7 which was missing in Final Cut Pro X was crop marks for Center Cut in the title safe. I often have to do HD Projects that are broadcast on 4:3 TV center cut, so you need to make all the graphics for the center cut for SD, and then leave safe space for the HD version.
    From what I can see I don't see these marks in Premiere Pro 5.5. Is there a place for feature requests for Premiere Pro, so I can put in a request as this is something that is really necessary in our production workflow.

    Well, PrPro's Titler has the Center Align for both Vertical & Horizontal, but for guides, etc., it is lacking.
    I use the tips in this ARTICLE to create alignment guides, as per my needs.
    I have been filing Feature Requests for years, and have also asked for many of the element Alignment functions from PS.
    Good luck,
    Hunt
    PS - I also create custom guides/grids for PiP, where I need to match the Scale & Position for the PiP footage.
    PPS - I assume that you have looked at Title & Action Safe marks, and they just do not do it for what you need.

  • Move file or mark for system move file - How?

    Hello,
    I finally bought Lightroom. Searching these posts I saw someone commenting about why a person would want to use LR to move a file. Seriously? Because I Want it to be a full on DAM solution. And the first mess I must de-tangle involves some years of very bad habits, both in iphoto and in my own head.
    Therefore, there is something that I don't think Lightroom can do yet but I would love to be found wrong. I don't think LR is much help in marking for the system to find later out side of LR, and then moving the files, right, wrong?
    I don't care if it marks the file in a way that the system can later find it and move it, or, if LR moves a selected file set already in LR. Either way what I am trying to do is organize correctly and that must mean moving found sets of files to where they belong.
    It seems like overkill to purchase iView just for this one task. Qpict is a lot cheaper than iView ($35 vs $199) and can move files around. I was just wondering though why LR cant yet do this? OR, am I wrong? Does anyone but me think this is important? Any others requesting this (LR is missing applescript support on the Mac side as well)
    Thanks
    David

    levelbest,
    If I understand your question, you've got many images in iPhoto that you want to reorganize and import into Lr. Is that the issue?
    If so, there are various ways to tackle it. One easy way is to create the new folders as you go.
    On your Desktop, make a new folder (Shift-Cmd-N). Name it "For Lr Import."
    Now open iPhoto. Scroll back to your first image in iPhoto. Let's say it's from the year 2000. Select that first image plus the photos you want to group with it. Maybe they are all shots of Niagara Falls. Export only those photos (full-size) to that Desktop folder you just made: "For Lr Import."
    Now switch to Lightroom. Go to File: Import Photos (or Shift-Cmd-I). In the window that opens, navigate to Desktop>For Lr Import. Select all the photos in that folder (click on the the first and then Cmd-A), and click Choose.
    That window will close and the Lr Import dialog will open. Your choices here will depend on what kind of files you're working with - jpeg or raw, and what you want to do with them. The options are easy to figure out. This method works faster if you choose a "move" option rather than a "copy" option because it will move the images out of the desktop folder and into whatever folder you create for them. "Copy" leaves them sitting in that Desktop folder, and you've gotta clear 'em out manually before the next export/import -- an extra step each time.
    So here's one way to go (in the Lr Import dialog):
    Under File Handling, select "Move Photos to a new location and import."
    Under Move To, navigate to Pictures. Create a new folder. Name it Photos 2000. Inside that folder, create another new folder. Name it Niagara Falls.
    Under Organize, select By Date and pick a date format.
    Don't miss taking advantage of the backup option. Check the "Backup To" box and create a similar hierarchy on a different drive. You could call the top-level folder Photo Originals.
    Now you've created a hierarchy you can continue using with each export from iPhoto. Just keep adding folders to Photos 2000 until you exhaust that year. Then create Photos 2001 the same way. All your photos will eventually be organized by year>topic>date (or however you set up the hierarchy).
    If you are converting raw to dng during import, the process is the same. You can use the backup function to preserve your raw files.
    Good luck,
    Jack

  • Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion

    Windows 7 Pro laptop will not connect to corporate domain. Multiple identical twin laptops have no problem.
    Best suggestion so far has been to leave the domain and rejoin it, BUT the relevant buttons are grayed out and the comment says "Note: The identification of the computer cannot be changed because:- The Workstation service is not running. Open the Services
    snap-in (services.msc) to ensure it is running and set its Startup Type as "Automatic"."
    In services.msc the Workstation service is already set to Automatic but is not started. When I try to start it manually the response is "Windows could not start the Workstation service on Local Computer." and then "Error 1075: The dependency service does
    not exist or has been marked for deletion."
    Rebooting gets me nowhere.
    In all other respects that laptop appears fine and can connect to the Internet, but NOT to the network. I have brought it and a twin laptop home to try on my domestic network and get the same results.
    Any ideas, please?

    Hi,
    Let us go to services.msc and navigate to Network Store Interface Service. Please check whether this service has been set to Automatic and turned on.

  • How do I tell if a user profile is marked for deletion?

    This is likely a question with a simple answer, but searching through Google and here hasn't helped.
    How do I tell if a user profile has been marked for deletion?
    Will it appear in the "Manager User Profiles" area of the User Profile Service Application management?
    Do I need to look somewhere else?
    This is probably obvious, and I just have looking disease, but your assistance is most appreciated!

    As Paul said you can see that on UP admin page. also you can use powershell to get the list of all use in powershell.

  • Mark for delete for BP in CRM

    Dear Sir,
    We still use CRM 5.0, If I would like to mark for delete the business partner, how to mark for delete for BP in CRM??
    And which table and field name to store for the mark for delete for business partner in CRM/
    Please kindly advise.
    Thnak you and best regards,
    Vimol

    Hello!
    It's not supported to delete Business Partners in CRM (Web- or PC-UI). You can just flag obsolete or redundant Business Partners for archiving.
    However there is the transaction BUPA_DEL you can use in order to delete BPs.

  • Is there a workaround for the missing global track chords?

    Is there a workaround for the missing global track chords?  i.e. will Apple loops follow the chord progression in a track?

    I found sort of a work around.  I still have Logic Pro 9.  It turns out that if you go into global tracks, analyze the chords then go back to logic pro x the chord progression is preserved.  So the information is preserved there just seems no way to create it in X.

  • HT1926 I keep getting the following message after attempting to download and install the latest update for iTunes: missing MSVCR80.dll.  error 7 (windows error 126)

    I keep getting the following message after attempting to download and install the latest update for iTunes: missing MSVCR80.dll.  error 7 (windows error 126). Anyone else having this issue? How do I get iTunes back in working order?

    Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
    Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
    Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
    Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
    The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
    Please note:
    Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.
