Market value

what can I sell a thinkpad t60 and t61, in excellent condition? (in italy)

I'd say 100-125 euros for the T60, depending on its condition and 150-175 for the T61 depending on slew of things (LCD resolution, intel vs. nVidia, condition)...
Good luck with the sale.
Cheers,
George

  • Valuation Procedure to calculate Fair Market Value

    Hi Treasury Experts,
In the Treasury Hedge Management component we are looking for a valuation procedure which can handle the calculation of the Fair Market Value of the financial transactions in line with the standard FAS133 accounting standard.
We have financial contracts that run over several months. From the contract start date to contract valuation date we need to value based on comparing the spot rate of the transaction against the close rate applicable at valuation date. We can use the Price Valuation Procedure for Forward Exchange Transaction with step 3000 (Rate Valuation Spot/Spot Hedge Accounting) to calculate this piece of the Fair Value.
We also need to include in the calculation of the Fair Value a component from the valuation date to the contract maturity date. This piece of the valuation is based on an interpolation of the interest rates over the remaining days of the contract (from valuation date to maturity date).
Can you advise if there is a valuation step or perhaps number of valuation steps that can be used to calculate the Fair Value of a financial contract in line with this requirement? That is to value the contract from inception date to valuation date based on comparing the PV at spot versus the PV at close rate and then to value the contract from valuation date to contract maturity date based on the PV by the interpolated interest rates over the remaining days of the contract?
    Thanks for your advice.
    Mik

  • Assets: provision for differences between APC and Market Value

    Hi,
my current client needs to make a provision with the difference between the APC and Market Value in some assets (buildings...).
Our idea is to use Valuation Area 02 in order to reflect those "Market Values" and create another Valuation Area = 02 - 01. With this area we will have the amount the we need to make the provision in GL.
I just wanted to know if FI-AA has anything that could make those provisions automatically. I have looked into help.sap.com, customizing etc... and I could not find anything.
Does anybody knows if there is a standard "provision function" for assets?
I think that we will need to develop an ABAP program for this requirement...
    Cheers

not solved but need to close it...

This is a very reputable online store selling new, used, and refurbished Macs and you should be able to get an idea. Note that their used Macs do not come with install media - make sure you point that out to your insurance by adding at least $29 US for the Snow Leopard install disk (plus the retail price for iWork and/or iLife if you had it).

  • Fixed Asset: market value

    Hi All!
Due to IAS we must post an special provision:
when the inmaterial fixed asset value market is minor than fixed asset net value we have to post a provision by depreciation (in order to reflect the possible loss when we sale it)
This provision does not affect the fixed asset countable net value. So that provision don't have post in 01 depreciation area. But:
1- when we sell the assets the provision must appear in the sale affecting to the benefit or loss.
2- I need to know the provision for each fixed assets. That's why we need SAP shows its in FI-AA area.
With the transactions under Manual Value Correction folder (fixed asset menu) the fixed asset net value is modified.
We've tried to implement a second area doesn’t affect to fixed
asset values from the 01 depreciation area and vice verse to post there this provision. But The system doesn’t allow that (message error number AC528)
    Do have more ideas?
    Thank You in advance

Hi Vijay, thank you for your answer but...
It seems that Transferred Reserves is used to sell a fixed asset and transfer the benefit to other asset (If I've undertood right)
I put an exemple to fix the question:
    I adquiered a fixed asset by 1.000 euros (a building) in 2005
    - Deprecation key: LIND (Str.-line) /  Use Life: 10 years
In 2007 my building on second hand house market is valuated in 500 euros (minor than fixed asset countable net value 800 euros).
So I must post a provision by depreciation by 300 euros. That post does'nt affect to fixed asset countable net value (is just a provision). My fixed asset countable net value is 800 euros.
In 2010 I sold my asset by 1.000 euros. My fixed asset countable net value is 500 euros. So my profit is 500 euros. Then I must to reverse the provision post in 2007 .
I need to post that provision related to fixed asset but without affect to asset net value, to reverse that in the asset sale.
    Thank You very much
    Francesc

  • Error while passing prompt value in Column Formula

    Hi All,
I have created a dashboard and added a dashboard prompt on that with a presentation variable named "promptdyn" that is basically showing bank names.
Now i want to calculate the market value based on this prompt selection, so i edited the column formula as
    "WM FACT Sec"."MARKET VALUE" * EVALUATE('getBankBaseCurrencyValue(%2)' As Double,@{promptdyn},"Industry Type".INSTRUMENT_CCY)
But it is throwing this error:
    \nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred.
\nQSError: 22051] The argument number 1 is not referenced in this evaluate expression: getBankBaseCurrencyValue(%2). (HY000)
SQL Issued: SELECT "Industry Type".INDUSTRY_NAME, "Industry Type".INDUSTRY_TYPE, "WM FACT Sec"."MARKET VALUE" * EVALUATE('getBankBaseCurrencyValue(%2)' As Double,0,"Industry Type".INSTRUMENT_CCY) FROM WMAdHocReportingBMMSec
I don't know what is wrong here. Here i tried to pass the value of the prompt to the function.
Basically I have created a function in the database with two parameter as "bank name " and "Currency" and calling it with the help of evaluate function.
How could we store the prompt value and pass it to some other function?
Pls help me as it is urgent for me to solve.
    Thanks

    He Solved.
Just i missed out to write %1,%2 in the evaluate function.
But one thing i need to know that how can we store the value that is selected in a prompt say in dashboard prompt so that it can be used in query. Because i need to select a value first from the prompt and based on that i need to manipulate the values of the other request of the dashboard.
    Please Reply.
    Thanks

  • Fact column shows null values in report

    Hi Experts,
I have a requirement where i need to create report from a Dimension Dim1 and 2 Fact Tables Fact1, Fact2 with the columns as Dim1.State, Fact1.Price, Fact1.Source,Fact2.Market Value. The two fact tables are at different granularity, when i run the report it is issuing the query only from Fact 1 and putting NULL for the column from Fact 2. Can someone guide me on how to approach.
    Thanks,
    Chandrasekhar

Welcome to the magic world of content level.
You give yourself the answer to your issue: "the two fact tables are at different granularity" (95% of chances you are just on that case for your issue).

  • How to display Prompt values in Narrative

    Using 11.1.1.6.2
Within a dashboard page I have a table with a dimension hierarchy for organization. If you click a division it runs an action link to call a browser script (javascript in a text section on the dashboard) passing the division. If you expand the division and click a market it calls the same javascript function.
The Javascript function then uses Go Path to refresh an analysis within an iFrame on the dashboard page and passes either the Division value or the Market value.
The target analysis has two filters: Division is prompted and Market is prompted.
So after all that my question is how could I display the two passed values from the Go Path call in a narrative on the target analysis? Or I guess the alternative question is how to display the filter values on the narrative.
Sorry for the long explanation, but hopefully this makes sense.
Thanks for any help or suggestions.
    Brad

Use @n to include the results from the designated column in the narrative. For example, @1 inserts the results from the first column
Assuming you want to show the selected value for Division from prompt.
Add Division column in the report criteria and call it @1, where 1 is position of Division column
You may hide the Division column from report, if you dont have to show in the report

  • Value of Powerbook G4 Titanium W/cracked.....

Does anyone know the value of a PowerBook Titanium G4 that has a cracked screen? I wanted to sell mine the screen is cracked and I have it hooked up to a monitor, but I dont know what is the most I could sell it for. If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks
    ~KrYsTaL~

Hi, Krystal. Your Powerbook probably has value only to someone who's looking for spare parts. The cost of having a technician replace its screen is probably very close to its fair market value with a working screen; it may even exceed that value. Someone who already has (or knows where to find) an inexpensive good used screen to put on it and is willing to do so him- or herself will have a good idea how much it can be sold for afterward, and will only pay a pittance for the part of your PB that still works.
The fair market value of a Powerbook in any condition is determined on Ebay nowadays, so you might want to look through the listings of completed Tibook sales there. (Currently-active auction listings will tell you nothing useful, since the actual selling prices are often determined in the last few seconds of an auction.) Note that there were four different generations of Tibooks that have different market values today, and be aware of exactly which model you have, so you can look for sales of that same model.

  • Cell definitions depending on value of free characteristic

    Hello,
I have the following requirement for one BEx query:
Depending on the value of a free characteristic (material), values in certain cells shall be shown or not. Values in these cells are usually calculated by cell definitions. When the user selects certain materials (e.g. A1, C3) during query navigation the values in those cells have to be 0, i.e. the values that are calculatd by cell definitions should not be shown.
When other materials are chosen by the user, those cells should show the calculated values.
I tried to create a replacement path formula variable in order to create a 0/1-switch (find out the value of the selected material and compare it with predefined materials (A1, C3)).
However, the value of a formula variable has to be a number. So that's no solution for my requirement.
Do you have any ideas how to solve this requirement? Note that there is no entry variable for material.
    Thanks in advance!
    Thomas

    Hi,
Make 3 restricted key figurs on market value restricting them with rating AAA, AA and A.
Lets say RKF1 for rating AAA
    RKF2 for rating AA and
    RKF3 for rating A.
Now you can use these 3 key figurs in your formula key figure which can simple be
    RKF10,4 + RKF20,3 + RKF3*0,2.
In this way you are already sure that only one of the RKF's will have a value and depending on the rating it will be multiplied with the value you have in your logic.
    Hope this helps.

  • Results of new key figure depending on value of characteristic

    Hi,
I have created a query with characteristic "Rating" and key figure "market value".
Char "Rating" has several values, e.g. AAA, AA, A, etc.
As next step I will create a key figure which should work out as follows:
If value of Rating is "AAA", then multiply the overall market value with 0,4,
if value of Rating is "AA", then multiply the overall market value with 0,3, ...
    How can I do so?

  • Value of my iMac

    Hi,
I would like to sell my iMac in order to buy a MacBook Pro. I would appreciate to have an idea of it's value. It's a 17 inch iMac with a PowerPC G4 processor of 800 MGhz. It has 768 Mb of SDRAM and a hard drive of 75 Gb. It's video card is a GeForce4 MX.
As I have never sold a computer before, and having absolutely no idea of how much a computer bought in 2001 and having the upper characteristics costs, could anyone tell me in what range it could be sold?
    Thank you in advance,
    Luc Pfister

    Bonjour Luc,
One way to find current market value on your iMac is to check completed listings on eBay.com for the same computer.. You will find the 'completed listings only' option under the advanced search link next to the search box on eBay's USA's main page. Click the 'completed listings' box and you can also refine your search using the pull down menu. I'm am not sure if eBay France has this search option, but it probably does; though, since eBay USA is much bigger, it will probably give you a better comparison picture..
That said, the last time I looked, which was about a year ago now, your system in perfect condition was getting anywhere between US $400 - $600 on eBay.com. Again, this was a year or so ago, before the G5 units flooded the market.

  • FG Valuation basis - Std Cost estimate or Net sale value whichever is less

    Dear SAP Experts,
    Query 1 -
Valuation of  Finished goods is done on basis of standard cost estimate (CK24) or Net sale value whichever is less
*Net sale value u2013 Net sales ( Sales value  minus Sales deductions)
Eg : Std cost estimate gives FG price as $100, whereas Net sale value price of FG $80,
now the client wants FG values should be at $80
Is there any standard way,  wherein SAP can capture whichever is less i.e standard cost estimate vs Net Sale Value
Pl let us know the options and which options would be ideal for query 1
Query 2 u2013 Can we use CRK1 and MR21 to manually change FG price whenever Net sale value is less than std cost estmate price?
u2022     In case the market value is less than the std cost estimate (CK11n) ,then Is this the approach to manually value FG price using  CRK1 & MR21.
u2022     What could be the impacts if we follow this approach
For Eg: Impact on prev months WIP, Scrap, stock returns etc
u2022     We simulated CRK1 & MR21 and MR21 entries are posted successfully, however following below warning is the message is showed when CRK1 is executed
Note u2013 Material Ledger is not active
    Warning Message
Deleting current standard cost estimates can cause inconsistencies. Your comments please
    Message no. CK669
    Diagnosis
u2022     If you delete a current standard cost estimate, the fields for the cost estimate are set to zero in the material master record. If you use the material ledger, the standard prices in the material ledger master data are also deleted when you delete the current standard cost estimate. The material master record for the material thus does no longer contains a current standard price from a standard cost estimate.
u2022     If you delete an active standard cost estimate, you can no longer determine scrap, work in process and variations for previous periods.
u2022     In certain countries, it is a legal requirement to maintain records of standard pricing. Therefore, you should check whether you are obliged by law to keep records of your standard cost estimates. Please also contact the relevant accounting and inventory management departments.

    Dear,
    Query 1;
The FG or SFG will be valuated at Standard Cost there is no provision to enter Net sale value
    Query 2:
Do not user CKR1 to delete Cost Estimate because it can bring lot of Descripenceies in CO, SAP do not recommend the same.
You can run the revaluation at the month end or revise your activity rates so that you standard price will be change accordingly and your inventory will be re valuated.
Hope it is clear, it not then please revert.
