Marketplace Systemdata : No V6R1 possible

Hi together,
in the Marketplace, on administration the system data , it is not possible to change the OS Release to V6R1.
The highest entry is V5R4.
And on Field System is shown:  DB2/400A with Version 9.5 ???
Is this normal? Could the specialists please give the SAP people a hint.
best regards,
Carsten  Schulz

Hi Carsten - we opened an OSS Message in March after completing our V6R1 upgrade and asked the same two questions.  It was never answered.  Not sure what it will take to get those updated.  V6R1 has been approved for more than a year.

  • Downloading SAP XI Interface from Service Marketplace

    Hi all,
Please guide me on downloading a standard XI Interface (in my case <i><b>TreasuryDealNotification</b></i>) from SAP Marketplace ASAP.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Nilima J. Rodrigues

    Hi Nilma,
    >>Please guide me on downloading a standard XI Interface (in my case TreasuryDealNotification) from SAP Marketplace
It is not possible to download a single interface from service.sap.com
SAP provides standard content from many SAP products like (SRM, MDM etc..).
If you can tell us your SAP product that you wish to connect with XI, we can help you.

  • HR enhancement packs ECC 6 with Oracle

    Hi There!
I need some assistance to trying to find the EHP's for HR. i have downloaded the EA-HR and SAP HR support packs to level 35 to get it to the right level but i am having difficulties in trying to find the EHPs and EHP support packs. According to note 1061967 I can only get EHP stack 2 becuase for stack 3 the EHP support packs 4 to 7 are not available so i think its pointless getting stack 3.
I need to find the EHP HRSPs which i cannot find them and nor can i find the EHP SPs. I cannot find a oss note that references the location where to find them, i have searched marketplace in every way possible and used Solution Manager Maintenance Optimizer but it cannot find them. Can anyone please help me in trying to find them?
    your help is much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Mani

use MOPZ, choose old system and select upgrade and it should give option to select EHP's

  • Scientific number in member excel

    Hi,
How to avoid scientific format in the member excel. The length of ID is 15 so the id values are loaded in dimension id as below.I have tried formating the cell content to text, number. For a while it seems to have changed to proper format but when we close the session and reopen the dimension member excel the member id remain as it is. How to handle this in BPC?
    Any inputs?

    Regards

Yes I would think if you widen the column to a sufficient width whereby the scientific notication is not displayed, then if you format the column or cell range as text and save and process the dimension member sheet this shoud work.  If that is not the case, please open a customer message in the SAP Service Marketplace to report a possible bug.

Normally the conenction is built up by jco. My question is, because i haven´t got a login to the service marketplace,
is there any possibility to download and use jco for my test connection? I only try it for education.
    Thank you very much
    Bye

    Hi GLM,
i just used the example from the jco package,
which i downloaded from sap service marketplace.
(I have changed the sap poperties).
With the jco 2 it works perfect. Only with new one

  • SSO to Service Marketplace?

    Hello,
I installed an EP6 SP2 with SSO to our R/3, BW and CRM system with logon tickets, it works fine. Now I tryed to connect the SAP Service Marketplace with user mapping. I created a system from com.sap.portal.howtos.webapp.WebApplication and than an iview.
I filled in "URL Template": http://<Authentication>@service.sap.com/inbox
and "URL template fraction for user mapping": <MappedUser>:<MappedPassword>
It seems to work but I don't like the password in the URL. Is there any other possibility for this?
    Thanks in advance
    Anke

    Hi Anke,
    EP6 SP2 P?
I'm on P27, there this property exists.
    > Your are sure that the parameters
    > will be sended by POST, if I entered [...]
At least they should as far as the property is described. Don't have the time to check at the moment, sorry.
    Hope it helps nevertheless

  • Using ChaRM to register objects in Marketplace

    Hello,
We want to control what changes are done to SAP standard workbench objects, using ChaRM, so that for example every time a program needs to be registered to make customer modifications in the marketplace we can do it using a ticket from ChaRM.  Then we can have an approval process and a total traceability.
Is that possible?  Is there any alternative way to have that controlled in Solution Manager?
    I appreciate your comments.
    Regards
    Esteban

    Hi Prakhar,
Thanks for your answer.  However the issue is a bit different.  Customer found that they want to make a modification in a standard code because of business needs.  So, they need to access to the marketplace to register that object.  No incident was created in Service Desk, no notes from SAP.  We want to have a Change Request and a Change Document to control the modifications and registration of this object.  However I did not found any action in ChaRM Change Document that allows me to access marketplace and  keep track of this registration in the change document.
    Do you have any idea?
    Many thanks
    Esteban

  • Is it possible to install an app obtained via a MicroSD card or Bluetooth?

Suppose I'm in an area where there is very little Wi-fi or other internet access (e.g. rural Papua New Guinea).
Or, an area where the internet is strictly controlled or monitored. So the Marketplace is not an option.
People around me are using their cheap cell phones to share photos via bluetooth, and music and videos via SD cards.
Question: can I also distribute an app via MicroSD card or Bluetooth?
I've tried this with some Java phones and found that installing an app from either of those sources is disallowed.
    What about on FirefoxOS?
The Firefox OS web site says you can update the OS from an SD card.
One of the FAQ's at http://www.ebay.com/itm/ZTE-OPEN-C-3G-Unlocked-Firefox-Smartphone-Cell-Phone-Dual-Core-GPS-WiFi-AT-T-/291243074570?pt=Cell_Phones&hash=item43cf70a40a suggests that you cannot install an app from an SD card, at least on a ZTE Open C.
But I'd like to get more of a horse's-mouth answer, if possible.
Is this something that Firefox OS leaves up to the discretion of each phone manufacturer?
Or is it considered such a security risk that Firefox OS will not allow it on any phone?
    Thanks,
    Lars

    Hi, huttarl!
Beyond the Firefox Marketplace, your options for distributing apps are unfortunately rather limited.
To my knowledge, Firefox OS does not support any Bluetooth/microSD card app installation. However, you can install an app to a phone by connecting the phone to a computer via USB cable. This is often used by developers but may suit your needs: [https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Using_the_App_Manager See this article on the Mozilla Developer Network].
I hope that helps! Please feel free to post back with more questions.

  • My marketplace has lost it's Layout! How can I fix the problem?

    Hi!
Somehow on 4th March 2015 I experienced a mixture of two problems already known in the forum:
    a) https://support.mozilla.org/de/questions/1039948
    b) https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1027288
First I was not able to get into FF Marketplace using the Marketplace App. It did not move on from the loading screen (so slightly different from b)) Marketplace worked fine when I used the browser like Ralph did suggest in a). Then I deleted the user data of the Marketplace-App in the Application manager. Since then I got into Markeplace again using the App, but Marketplace lost it's Layout. Using the Browser for accessing Marketplace works, but doesn't influence the app.
My phone is Alcatel One Touch Fire E. Firefox OS 1.3.0.0 The last app I updated was BibleZ.
I think resetting the phone could help. But instead of loosing all my data I would rather just use the browser to access marketplace. So could there be another possibility to solve the problem, so that I can use the Marketplace app again? When I had problems with displaying websites, I deleted the cookies and it worked again, but it is not possible in Marketplace app, is it?
    Thank's

    Thank's for your reply Ralph.
My Problem is solved now, because I updated to Firefeox OS 2.0. The Update was just recently released.

  • Is batch automation possible in lightroom?

I'm converting about 800 pictures from color to black and white for a bible study that will be printed . Ive tried several ways of converting using modes and techniques I found on other sites in photoshop but wasnt happy with results. These pictures are of landscapes and people. They all seemed either fuzzy or detail was lost so I decided to give Lightroom a try. I found lots of presets in the adobe marketplace for b & w conversion and wanted to know if batch automation was possible once I found one that I was happy with.

    WMMinistry wrote:
Which preset works best for black and white conversion of portraits?
That will depend on each image really, just experiment to find the one that works best for your purposes, it will depend on the file type as well - some are developed for raw and others for jpeg or tiff files. You can undo the application of a preset easily withe the usual undo command. Try testing on a Virtual Copy of one image.

  • Transaction between MS SQL 6.5 and Oracle 8.1.x possible?

              Hi all!
I'm rather new to BEA products. Our company (DaimlerChrysler subsidary) evaluates application server products and transaction monitors for a governmental customer in Germany.
Will it be possible only with WebLogic Server 6 to span 2 phase-commit-transactions between a lot of MS SQL 6.5 (SP5a) databases and one central Oracle 8i database?
Could somebody explain what components are necessary (on NT-SQL and NT-Oracle), i.e. where could I get an JDBC-XA-Adapter for
              SQL-Server 6.5?
Thanx a lot in advance ...

BEA is currently looking at producing an XA compliant driver for Microsoft
SQL Server. There may be other vendors in the marketplace who do, but we do
not. At the current time, this integration is not possible without getting
              a third party product.

Can I format the data to CXML format in Java? Are there standard API's to do this? Please let me know how should I procced with the coding?
Apart from formatting the output to CXML format, I have to also post this data to an external market place...How can I do this?
Please help me with relevant information. your help will be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Jessica Sam

It should be possible to format the data, yes. If there's a "standard API" it should be one that comes out of that SAP CRM thing, so look there.
As for "posting to an external marketplace", that's far too vague a concept to be able to answer. You should start by getting the specs about "how to post" from that marketplace.

  • Homogeneous System Copy - Installation of Database Instance not possible...

I try to create a SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SR3 Portal based on a homogeneous SAP System Copy. Therefore I already installed in a first step (first option within SAPINST for installing a target system of a system copy) the Central Services Instance successfully on a machine. In the next step I'd like to create the Database Instance with SAPINST but I cannot choose the DB instance that I already created based on a restore within the new DB server (MS SQL 2008 Cluster installation). I can only choose the local machine for using a DB instance but there is no MS SQL Server installed!
Do I have to start SAPINST on the DB server itself which is not possible/allowed (due to operating/organization reasons)?
Is there any SAPINST parameter which I have to use for telling SAPINST that the DB is located on a different server?!?
    The documentation just says:
The target system is installed using the exports from the source system.
Choose the installation services exactly in the order they appear. For more information, see the MS SQL Server installation guide for your SAP system at http://service.sap.com/installnw70.
On the SAPinst screen SAP SystemDatabase make sure to select Homogeneous System Copy (MS SQL Server-specific: Detach/Attach or Backup).
    Thanks for supporting and Regards,
    Claudio Schmidt

    OK, SAP Note 1076022 says:
SAP installation packages on SAP Service Marketplace
On March 27, 2008, SAP released the Netweaver installation package SR3, which supports SQL Server 2008 (R2). Note 1152240 discusses the details and lists some restrictions. Make sure you carefully read Note 1152240 and use a recent enough installation master DVD.
    SAP Note 1152240 says:
If you want to perform a system copy of an SAP system that is based on SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SR3 on SQL Server 2008 (R2), you cannot use the Installation Master and Kernel DVD that you received from SAP or downloaded from SAP Service Marketplace (SMP). Instead, you have to do the following:
    - Patch your runtime libraries as described in SAP note 684106
    - Use a modified Installation Master DVD. For more information, see section "IV Creating a modified Installation Master DVD".
    - Use a modified Kernel DVD. For more information about how to create a modified kernel DVD, see SAP note 1480785.
What problem is fixed by using the modified Installation Master DVD? Is it possible to install the DB part on a server apart of the local machine where SAPINST is run (my initial question/problem I want do resolve)?

  • ECATT: Dynamic target system for pattern REF possible?

    Hello
I am using eCATT on a Solution Manager (NetWeaver 700). I have to run the test scripts on several different SAP systems.
Therefore, I would like to know whether it is possible to set the target system within the pattern <b>REF </b>(<i>executes another eCATT test script, either on local or remote system</i>) <b><i>dynamically</i></b>?
Definite proof that this is <b>not </b>possible is also welcome.
I am aware that I can replace the REF pattern by a corresponding ABAP...ENDABAP coding, e.g.:
    FUN ( BAPI_USER_EXISTENCE_CHECK , BAPI_USER_EXISTENCE_CHECK_1, <target_system> ).
    Replace by:
    ld_rfcdest = id_rfcdest.
    ABAP.
      CLEAR: ls_return.
      CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_USER_EXISTENCE_CHECK'
        DESTINATION ld_rfcdest
        EXPORTING
          username = id_username
        IMPORTING
          return      = ls_return.
" NOTE: Not necessary to handle RFC exceptions -> done by eCATT framework
    ENDABAP.
    " evaluate ls_return...
However, I would prefer - if possible - to use the REF pattern.

    Hello
In case you may need this functionality here is (one possible) solution.
The testscript <b>ZUS_SDN_ECATT_DYNAMIC_TARGET</b> calls testscript ZUS_SDN_LOGICAL_SYSTEM_GET dynamically on different target systems.
    Testscript ZUS_SDN_ECATT_DYNAMIC_TARGET:
    *ECSC     Test Script
    *ECTD     Test Data Container
    *ECSD     System Data Container
    *ECTC     Test Configuration
    ls_execute = is_execute.
    ABAP.
      APPEND ls_execute TO lt_execute.
    ENDABAP.
    et_execute = lt_execute.
    FUN ( ECATT_EXECUTE , ECATT_EXECUTE_1 ).
    CHEVAR( &EXCEPTION = ' ' ).
    EXIT( &EXCEPTION <> ' ' ).
    **FUN ( ECATT_LOG_DISPLAY , ECATT_LOG_DISPLAY_1 ).
The funny part of this script is the <b>FUN </b>pattern where I call function module <b>ECATT_EXECUTE</b> which is used to execute testscripts (or test configurations). As IMPORTING parameter we have a structure <b>START_PROFIL </b>where we can set the <b>SYSTEMDATA</b> (container) and the <b>TARGETSYSTEM</b>.
Hopefully I will find the time to explain this testscript and its possible use and implications in more detail in a blog.
    Regards,
      Uwe
