Master recipe not pickedup automatically

Hi all,
While creating process order the Master Recipe is not picked up in the master data tab....BOM and PV no are shown but not the Master Recipe...Is there any customization for picking up Mater Recipe automatically in process order....????
Regards,
Joseph.

Dear
Goto COR4-Select Order Type and plant-Double Click -Look at Master Recipe Selection set up -It should be set to Master Reciepe Selection ( Autmocatically ) not manually .
Re-set this and check with a process order creation in COR1

  • Batch master record not created automatically during Goods Receive

    Hi,
When Goods Receipt is performed in central ERP, the batch master records will be auto created. However, if we turn on the decentralize warehouse management functionality, we observed that the batch master records are no longer be auto created during GR. Is this a known SAP bug? Is there any user exits available?
    Tracy

    Hi Tracy.
Can you just confirm the process...
Inbound delivery created in ERP and replicated to Decentral - With Batch?
Decentral puts batch into warehouse and post GR back to ERP
ERP receipt posted but batch master not updated.
What values are not updated in ERP or is it the entire record?. Within the IDOC transfer settings of ERP you can enable/disable certain IDOC field which prevent update (HUM etc). This may be the issue
Let me know some more information

  • Master recipes operations not getting transfered in SNP PDS to APO from R3

    Hello APO Gurus,
I am trying to transfer SNP PDS for master receipes from R3 to APO.
    Issue description::
The operation is not getting transfered correctly , some system default operation "010 generated Operation (from Planned Delive)" is getting generated in APO, also activity and resource capacity is not getting transfered. This situation exist for one plant 1000, for other plant 1100 the SNP PDS created correctly.
    i have following points:
    1. Is there some customizing setting missing on R3 or APO side  for plant 1000 tbefore SNP PDS transfer
    2. What need to be checked on master recipes data in R3,
i have checked on below points
    1. FG Materials and all the Component Material to be in APO in a Active Integration Model.
    2. BOM & Routing and Production Version setup correctly.
    3. The Routing Operations have to Relevant to 'SCHEDULING'.
    4. Try deleting the existing Integration model for materials & re-create new IM & activate.
Please help me to send SNP PDS correctly to APO to take heuristic run.

    Hi,
It is good that you have given your already checked points.
Please check the following things also and try to retransfer the PDS.
    1. Check your resource in ECC, whether you have maintained the Process formula.
    2. Check you have maintained some values in Master Recipe for processing time
    3. Check whether the resource has been transferred for your plant 1000 to APO and an active IM exists.
    4. Also check the type of the resource transferred to APO. It should be a single-mixed/ multi-mixed or bucket resource.
Hope this will help you to solve the issue.

  • Payment Terms on PO Header is not coming automatically from vendor master

    Hi Experts,
I have two plants maintained as vendors in my system. Both have payment terms maintained in the Vendor master (Purchasing as well as Payment Transaction view) but when I create POs (all with the same document type), for one of the vendors, payment terms is being populated automatically on PO header whereas for the other vendor, it does not pupulate automatically.
I am wondering if there is any other setting controlling this payment term apart from the Vendor master Payment Term.
    Please guide.
    Thanks.

These plants are under different companty codes. We have custom document type ZNB for the PO. Do I need to check something in Purchasing Info Record or if any other thing setting controlling it.
Both the vendor masters have the payment terms maintained exactly the same. But, still I am facing the issue.
    Thanks.

  • Is it Necessary to create production version if  using master recipe

    our industry Process industry
we are using Master recipe for Production
is it necessary to create production version

    Hi Krishna,
Production version is essential to mantain if you have a PP-PI industry scenario.
However, if you have not mantained it, you can still create a process order. Process order first searches for the production version (automatically/ manually) depending on the configuration settings.
If you have not mantained it, system would throw a SAP standard information message, "Material XXXXX: Production Version not mantained".
If system is not able to select valid master recipe / version.  it would look for default values for operation in the master recipe settings and would try to create a operation.

Method for Selecting Alternative Bills of Material
Indicator determining the selection of the alternative BOM when requirements are exploded in material requirements planning.
    Use
With Selection by order quantity, the system chooses the alternative BOM into whose lot size range the order quantity falls. The lot size range and area of validity of the BOM apply.
With Selection by explosion date, the system chooses the alternative BOM into whose area of validity the date falls according to the setting BOM via dates.
With Selection by production version, the system chooses the alternative BOM defined in the valid production version. The lot size range and area of validity of the production version apply.
With Selection only by production version, the system chooses the alternative BOM defined in the valid production version. The lot size range and area of validity of the production version apply.
If no production version is found, no production orders or process orders can be created.

    Zhang Ming-an

When you are manually refreshing the snapshot as scott/tiger, and your database link was defined with a 'connect to/identified by ' clause, your login credentials will be scott/tiger. When the refresh happens from the job queue, it does not use those credentials, It uses some default set. What you should probably do is:
    1. create public database link Oracle using 'server1';
    2. as scott/tiger, create database link Oracle connect to scott identified by tiger;
    3. your automatic refresh should work now.

  • Excise Invoice Not creating automatically

    Hello!
while doing Billing document using VLO1N,Excise invoice is not creating for a particular material. I checked Material Master for this particular item.I compared the Material Master for the item which is creating Excise Invoice automatically and the for the item Excise Invoice not creating automatically. Every thing is same for both the items but the excise invoice is creating automatically for one material and same Excise invoice is not creating automatically for another item.I don't know where is the exact problem is.could anyone tell me why the Excise Invoice is not creating for the particular item.
    -M.Suba

Excise Invoice creation depends on Customizatoin of Excise group which is specific to Plant.
    Check Customization settings-
IMG: Logistics General - Tax on Goods movements - INDIA - Basic Settings - Maintain Excise Group,
select your excise group & choose details,
You will observe, check box " Excise Invoice during Billing" in 'Outgoing Excise Invoice' section. This check box should be marked.
Note: To create Billing documents - Tx :VF01 is used , not VL01N ( this is for Creating Outbound Delivery document)

    Hi Kailash,
    What is mean by
I want to create master recipe without material, i have created the same.
    What's the reason behind it.
    Regarding error CO636,
    - Check your BOM of that 500000010 might be components are missing over here.
    or
    - might be From to To lot size of BOM is not match with your Process order qty.
    or
    - Also check Valid From to To Date of your BOM.

  • Mass creation of BOM and Master Recipe for Plants

My client wants to do Mass BOM creation and Mass Master Recipe Creation from a Generic BOM and Generic Master Recipe for all 10 Plants by just a click of button.
He does not want to use copy function using CSO1 or C201, and do for plants 'one by one'. He finds it very time-consuming. He wants to copy for all ten plants all at once. Please advice how this can be accomplished in the best possible manner, and if by standard SAP.
    Thanks,

  • Creation of Process Order without assigning master recipe

    Hi,
I want to create a process order without having default master recipe for the given material or default operation for the given order type. I want the user to select the master recipe manually in process order. We do not want to use production version also.
We can define the default operation for the order type (OPJG) so that we can create a process order. I do not want a default operation in the process order but the user should select a valid master recipe. If we have default operation in the process order, it serves no purpose as it is never used anywhere.
Is there any way we can achieve this?

  • SD: Condition record not getting automatically determined

    Hi,
Condition record not getting automatically determined for a condition type for which following access is maintained.
The access has table containing following fields:
    Sales Organisation
    Distribution Channel
    Division
    Sales Document type
    Sales Document No.
    Material no.
    Following is the scenario:
A sales order is created  for Project Systems attach a WBS element to the line item .
With respect to the above created sales order a Billing request ( a sales doc. type which is different than the above sales order). When the billing request is created materials appearing in the line item will be different.Different materials will appear in the billing request because of the DIP profile maintained.
The prerequisite is that before creating billing request the sales employee has to maintain condition master record with above access. The condition record will combine sales organisation, distribution channel, division, sales document type ,
sales document number ( the 1st refered sales order)
    and the material are different
than the ones maintained in the 1st sales order.
This will enable in getting billing request generated without manual intervention in pricing for other materials for which condition records have been maintained as stated above.
Following is the error message we get
    ===================================
" Inactive        X   Inactive via formulae of incorrect "
    Thanks

As I know, thats just a warning message(if its a std one).
    Ignore it and save.
Check your pricing date of the document. For execution it should be similar or after valid-from date maintain in condition record.
But, you need not create a condition record. Simply change the existing one combination of your desire. But, this warning will come there also for your combination.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Item category is set as Credit active - but credit master is not updated

    Dear Gurus,
I am having an item category to which the credit active indicator is checked.
For my sales document type - we have set Automatic credit check (Static/Dynamic).
But, if I create a sale order with this item category - it is not updating the credit master sheet.
Whereas, if I change the credit check control settings assigned to sales documents type to SIMPLE CREDIT CHECK - it is updating the credit master sheet.
Could you please let know - why the system is not updating the credit master sheet if the AUTOMATIC CREDIT CHECK is set to the sales document type?
    Please clarify.
    Thank you,
    Venkatesh

    Hi
    Kindly check the below
1.Check the risk category  in the t coded FD32
    2. Check the t code OVA8 for the combination of credit control area risk category credit groupo
    3. check the sub total "A" maintained against the condition type in the pricing procedure
    4. check the  tcode OVAD

  • The prices are not coming automatically

    Hi gurus,
In batch determination.  When i am creating a sales order the batch number is coming automatically.  But the thing is the prices are not coming automatically.  what could be the reason.  Even though i maintained the prices conditon records in vch1 but the system not picking up automatically.  Please give the solution.  It is urgent
    Thanks & Regards
    cheers

    Hi,
Batch valuation is possible with the std functionality.
It will allow to valuate each batch saperately.
    More information,

    Valuation for a Single Batch
    Use
You use valuation for a single batch if you want to separate costs for externally processed batches from costs for internally processed batches, and if you want to keep the price and value of each individual batch in inventory management on a value basis.
    Integration
Valuation for a single batch is carried out using separate values, just as partial stocks for a material are distinguished according to origin, for example. In valuation for a single batch, a separate characteristic category is created for each batch (batch number = characteristic category).
Valuation for a single batch is a special kind of valuation type for batches.
Prerequisites :To work with valuation for a single batch, you must choose valuation for a single batch (indicator X in the standard system) as substance characteristic type in the material master record.
    regards,
    Siddharth.
