Matching Long & Short Position in Futures

Hii Experts ,
We are working on Futures in SAP ECC6.. There is a function of Matching Long & Short Position in Sap ,The function generates matching business transactions to which the corresponding margin flows are assigned, which i got to know from help.sap.com.  & following is the link
http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_05/helpdata/EN/47/060cdb0d5e2ecbe10000000a11466f/frameset.htm
The problem is that i am not able to see this path in my SAP.
Please help  how this functionality can be used in SAP.??
thanks & regards
Saurabh Gupta

Hi,
...one hint regarding the usage of TPM91:
In customizing you need only "Open" Transaction Types, because the Matching-functionality cannot differentiate between open and close - you just have Buy/Sell Open (...no Buy/Sell Close) Transaction Types.

  • Upgrade to SCM7.0 DP info objects (Characteristics) long/short text issue

    Hi All,
    We have upgraded from SCM4x to SCM7.0. The info objects characteristics customized long and short text is not updated in SCM 7.0.
    Example: Info object 9ALOCNO standard long/short text is APO location. But in SCM4x they have changed to Plant. After upgrade this text is set to APO location, not the plant. Like this many chars text have been changed to SAP standard.
    When I try to change text of info object creates transport request.
    Is this standard behavour when we upgrade?
    Please share your thoughts and let me know for more information.
    Thanks,
    Sreeni

    Sreeni,
    With every upgrade the customization is lost. We will have to make a list of all customized objects and make the change again in the upgraded system.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks

  • BEx Filter text (long / short)?

    Hello,
    I have Cost Center which contains different long / short text.
    In Report it is no problem to display all in long text.
    Problem: When I make a pre-selection via a variable in BEx it will display short text.
    Is there a way where I can say to BW "show me the filter in long text"?

    Hi,go to InfoProvider maintainance -->Extras (from menu bar) >Structure Specific InfoObject Properties>Set 'Text type' to 'long' for your characteristic. activate infoprovider. log off and log into bex and check the result.

  • Long short short beep code then no boot when trying to reboot???

    I recently ran the recovery CD to get it back to factory condition and the same problems persisted (that I'll describe below) which indicates to me that there's some hardware issue. I've had the same issues before and after recovery was run.
    When I start it, it often starts just fine as long as it hasn't been on for at least an hour.  It seems to have memory management issues.  It hangs up, gets bogged down easily, hangs, crashes, etc.  It also seems to run hot.  There are quite a few programs that I was able to run when it was working well that it no longer tollerates.
    If I reboot after it's been running for a while It makes three beeps (Long short short).  The screen goes black, the hard drive spins a little, but that's it.  I have to turn it off for about an hour or two before it will actually start up at that point.  Keep in mind, it doesn't start out at 100% and deteriorate.  It starts out at about 40% of what it used to do and deteriorates from there.  In needs to be rebooted about once a day.
    Sometimes if it's hibernating, it will make the same beep code when I wake it up (Long short short) and most of the time it won't wake up from there.
    So, can anyone tell me what that beep code refers to?
    Has anyone else experienced similar problems?
    Does anyone know which part is bad and if it's worth trying to fix it?
    Thanks!

    I am having the same problem....i do believe its a memory problem..??

  • Apple Cinema Display 23" - Blank Screen, "short-long-short" LED code

    Hello everyone.
    This sounds like something of an epidemic... My Apple Cinema 23" HD Display (bought Dec. 2007) hasn't been turning on after a power outage hit our area last week.
    The Computer and Display were OFF when the outage occurred. Everything was plugged into a surge suppressor. Everything ELSE plugged in to the suppressor is fine (including my Mac CPU)... but not the monitor.
    It’s not dead-dead…. It’s a blank screen but there IS a morse-code flash on the LED (short-long-short). According to Apple Support’s LED Translation, it SHOULD be something to do with the power adaptor. The adaptor IS correct… a 90 watt… but just in case I bought ANOTHER 90w adaptor brick. I plugged the monitor to the new brick. THE RESULT WAS THE SAME.
    I’ve tried power cycling, I’ve tried plugging it into different outlets, I’ve tried connecting to other computers. The same LED result remains.
    And, yes, of course, I’ve got no Apple Support, and from what I read in similar posts, outside-the-warranty repairs could hit around $400. I REFUSE!
    For now I have a Samsung monitor from Costco. It’s not bad, but it’s not the Apple monitor with its awesome color-fidelity.
    I've read some other posts with the same problem (LED blink code and all) elsewhere but haven't got a solid answer.
    I wonder… has anyone else incurring this same problem (with the same LED flashing deal) tried to use a 150-WATT adaptor brick? I would try this myself, but I’m currently financially unable (and personally unwilling) to throw more cash at this problem unless I know it’ll fix it.

    Hi all!
    As mentioned on the title of this topic *I HAD THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM* with my 23" Cinema Display...
    Before the failure, the monitor *WAS IN PERFECT CONDITION* (trust me when I comment this, my whole life is in front of a monitor)
    *THE PROBLEM SHOWED UP THE DAY I MOVED THE MONITOR TO AN OTHER OFFICE* (???). Please note that *I TOOK EXTRA CARE WHEN I MOVED THE MONITOR*, besides, when something costs around 1K you owe to.
    *I TRIED AN 150W ADAPTER ON IT AND WORKED FINE!!!* Just like before.
    But since *IT WAS UNDER GUARANTY* I sent it to the local distributor who eventually *REPLACED IT WITH A "NEW" ONE*, which after remarks from my side it turned out it wasn't "new" but re-manufactured by Apple (off course, he guarantied me the parts in it, where brand new and had 0 hours of usage).
    In my question to the technical representative of Apple *"WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY MONITOR"*, he answered me that *THE INVERTER WAS FAULT*.
    After that I questioned him *"WHY MY MONITOR MANAGED TO WORK WITH THE 150W ADAPTER?"*, he answered me that *THE EXTRA CHARGE OF THE 150W ADAPTER WAS ABLE TO "EXCITE" SUCCESSFULLY THE FAULTY INVERTER IN ORDER TO WORK* and that *IT WAS A MATTER OF MONTHS FOR THE MONITOR TO FAIL AGAIN*.
    That's my story... I hope it may help some of you... Personally I can't have an opinion on the matter, since I'm not a technician. The only thing on which I can comment is that *A 1K MONITOR SHOULD BE WAY MORE DURABLE AND TOLERANT WHEN YOU TRANSFER IT AROUND (if that cause the problem of course)*

  • HT2811 If the display flashed short long short could the power supply be bad?

    If the display flashed short long short could the power supply be bad?

    Hello,
    In order to determine what might be going on, I am going to need a little more information about your setup such as:
    -what version of the cFP drivers are you using?
    -where/what device are you outputting voltage to? at what voltage? how much current do those devices require?
    -could you explain further by what is meant by '[at] approximately 30 seconds, all channels on that PWM shut off'. Are the lights on the modules still illuminated when the system 'shuts off' or do they remain on?
    -Do you have another power supply you could try this with?
    -Does the power supply meet the specifications for use with this module per p. 4 and 5 of the FIELDPOINT AND SPECIFICATIONS™ OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FP-PWM-520 and cFP-PWM-520  Eight-Channel, 5 V...
    -Does the power supply continue to output 24VDC even after the 'shut down'?

  • HT2811 So, my cinema display is sending short long short...

    Okay, so my cinema display is sending short long short. That means I have a pwer supply probem, apparently.  But I have two screens and so can swap over the power supplies; the one giving the error message continues to err, so the fault is not with the power supply but with the screen itself, right?
    The screens having been working perfectly for years (five?). All I did was carry them between buildings. A static charge is a possible occurrence here in a dry part of China. The screen has working ports - the keyboard I am using is driven by the faulty screen (the screen procaliming a fault, really).
    What am I missing? I'm out of ideas - and, being China, help is a long way off.

    You uhave to buy a 150 Watt power supply to make it work again. its a well known problem.

  • K7T Turbo Ver. 3 Long-Short-Short Beeps

    I am trying to put together a computer for friends for a christmas present.  I have hooked everything up and now I get three beeps when I start the computer:  LONG, SHORT, SHORT.  What does it mean?  How do I solve it?  The motherboard is an MSI K7T Turbo Version 3.
    Thanks,
    Josh

    I just want to know what the beeps mean.  Obviously it's an error message.  The monitor won't even power on and I"m guessing that the rest of the computer doesn't start up either.
    IT doesn't matter what the graphics card is because I"ve tried more than one.
    The CPU is a CPU that worked for well over a year with the motherboard.  The hard drive doesn't matter because it made the beeps regardless of whether or not the hard drive is plugged in.  The RAM is 128mb 133mhz and it was what was in the motherboard before when it all worked.
    Does anyone know what two short beeps and one long beep means???

  • IPhone no longer remembers position in track properly

    I'm seeing a couple of problems related to audio playback in OS 3.0. Playing audio in the iPod application doesn't properly remember where I stopped playing a track previously, and doesn't consistently show which track is currently playing. Both of these may be related to playing tracks at 2X speed, but I'm not sure that's always the case.
    I listen to a number of podcasts and sometimes speed through them at 2X speed. Sometimes when I'm doing this when the current track is finished playing the progress slider still shows that it is only half way through the track. Then, when the next track begins it still shows the old track information, although sometimes it eventually advances the display to the next track.
    In addition, almost always, when I try to continue playing later the iPod app no longer properly remembers where I left off. This seems to be related to the above problem in that it continues where the progress slider was last positioned, which, as I mentioned, isn't where the audio is actually.
    So, are others seeing this? Any workarounds?

    Apple, any update on this?
    I listen to long mp3s with the 'Remember Playback Postion' setting checked which are not updating correctly when I sync back to iTunes.

  • No longer remembers position in playlist

    I have had my First Gen iPod shuffle for about a year and a half, and for the most part everything still works dandy.
    However, it no longer remembers its position in a playlist or a song from the last time it was turned off. I have tried resetting the firmware (and doing this with different versions of iPod updater) but I still have the same problem. Other than that, the thing plays fine and updates with no problems. I just have had this very strange problem, and haven't found anyone who has had a similar problem who could help me out. This has unfortunately prevented me from using the shuffle for playing audiobooks (as I previously enjoyed doing).
    Has anyone else had this very odd problem, and know how to help me out? I'm running iTunes 6.0.5.20 (I can't run 7 on my machine) and iPod Shuffle firmware version 1.1.4.
    Any help would be greatly aprreciated. Thanks!
    Windows PC   Windows XP

    It's not a fix, but a workaround. Don't turn the shuffle off. When you want to stop listening for a while, pause the shuffle. After a period of time it will go to sleep and use a negligible amount of battery.
    To resume playing, press the Play/Pause button. The green LED will blink for 3-5 seconds while the shuffle wakes up, then press Play/Pause again.
    This is the way I use my shuffle, but I don't have any experience with audiobooks.
    Good luck

  • How to call labview DLL from C#, passing char, char[], float[], long, short

    Hi,
    I'm having trouble calling labview dll from C# to perform certain function.
    The function supposed to return the values in the float Analysis[] array. However, when I execute it it only returns zero values.
    It seems that some parameters are not properly passed to the dll.
    Below is the function in the header file:
    void __stdcall Optical_Center(char FileDirectory[], long ImagePtr,
        short int Height, short int Width, char ReadFromFile, float Analysis[],
        long lenAnalysis);
    and my corresponding dll import in c#:
    [DllImport(@"SMIA.dll", CharSet = CharSet.Ansi)]
            public static extern void Optical_Center([MarshalAs(UnmanagedType.LPStr)]string FileDirectory, long ImagePtr,
                short Height, short Width,char  ReadFromFile, IntPtr Analysis,
                long lenAnalysis);
    string str = @"C:\SMIA.raw";
    int len = 3;
    long m_lenAnalysis = 3;
    long m_ImagePtr = 0;
    short m_Height = 2464;
    short m_Width = 3280;
    IntPtr m_PtrArray = Marshal.AllocHGlobal(len * Marshal.SizeOf(typeof(float)));
    char m_ReadFromFile = '1';
    Optical_Center(str,m_ImagePtr,m_Height,m_Width,m_ReadFromFile,m_PtrArray,m_lenAnalysis);
    float[] m_Analysis = new float[len];
    Marshal.Copy(m_PtrArray, floatArray,0,len);
    Marshal.FreeHGlobal(m_PtrArray);
    string printstr = "";
    for (int i=0; i<len; i++)
        printstr = printstr + floatArray[i].ToString() + "\n";
    MessageBox.Show(printstr);
    Appreciate if anyone can help, thanks.

    I was just about to post the header file of the DLL, when
    I noticed that there's a function called LVDLLStatus.
    This little thingie turned out to be a rather handy tool.
    With that function I found that in the DLL I had a problem
    with another function that prevented the DLL to be correctly
    loaded.
    This other function in the DLL is for generating digital output
    and it worked as it should, when tested from LV.
    Anyway if someone is interested, I got it working by using
    the LoadLibrary and GetProcAddress function, as in the
    source code thatI posted earlier.
    I will investigate what is wrong with that digital output, and
    post into a another thread if I have problems with that.

  • Change My Home Directory Name to Match My Short Name

    Somewhere in the process of Migration and Setup Assistant accross 3 computers, I need to change my home folder name to match my shortname. It is getting a little confusing to have two short "names."
    My home folder is - admin
    My short name is - bobbyv
    I would like tho change my home folder to bobbyv
    The admin account as you can guess is root, i have two other accounts, one that is admin and one that is not. I know about the advanced options in the accounts preference pane, but I do not want to change in without knowing what I'm doing because I do not want to have an empty and clean new home folder, my data is important.
    Thanks everyone.

    Changing the short name is possible, but it is rather involved. Search for "change short name" on this site. It's easiest to create a new account and then transfer your data to that account.

  • Make photo modest by adding shirt and longer shorts please (edit photo help)

    So I can use this photo on facebook can someone please make this a modest photo? Maybe put a shirt on me to cover my stomach and make my shorts a little longer ??? (shorts a little above the knee) (my back and arm showing is okay) If you can try and help me I appreciate it I really love this picture and want to put it on my facebook!!  Its a dark photo but I will use a filter to brighten it up after edits are made!
    Thanks a lot !
    Liz

    Let me get this straight:
    You are posting in a forum populated mostly by professional Photoshop users and are asking them to paint clothing on your body for free?    I suppose you'll want the visible parts of your glasses removed as well.
    You can make this an easier job for whoever tackles it by posing in exactly the same pose with your desired clothing so it can be cut out and placed on your other shot.  The background would be irrelevant. You also need to edit the photo ("brighten it") before anyone works on it.
    And you want to modify this image to post it somewhere it will be seen mostly by Catholic nuns, Mennonites and/or Conservative Muslims?
    Hard to decide which of the two is the more bizarre proposition.

  • Legacy media - 'match previous' zoom/position settings?

    I have a lot of .jpg's for technical
    illustration that have (for example) a diagram and a second .jpg of the same image but with a callout
    (arrow or whatever) inserted.
    I know how I can do this with layers now - but I'd like to reuse the old drawings.
    To do that if I need to 'zoom/pan' I'd like to put the .jpg's in sequence and 'match previous clip' (I think that's what another NLE calls it).
    For now I have been reading the position and zoom numbers and then re-entering them for the next selection.  A pain ALMOST enough to
    use Illustrator/Photoshop to recreate the callouts.  But not quite.
    Is there the equivalent of the 'match previous' function?

    That works perfectly!  Thanks.
