Materials not in integration model

Something has happened in my R3/APO Development system where lots of Materials are not in any Integration Model.  They should be, and checking in our prod system they are.
I've de-activated and re-activated Int Models but to no avail.
How can I check/update materials to be part of an Integration Model?

For material master integration, the indicator in MARC table should be set properly. During the integration model activation if the MARC table is locked for some reason, this does not happen.
Pl. refer to the following reports
RAPOKZFX - Set APO indicator in MARC table after activation
RCIFIMAX - Consistency between integration models and MARC table
RCIFMTDE - Log the deactivated material masters
Hope this helps!

  • TVARV - Integration model.

    hi
we currently use TVARV entries for specifying the materials in the integration models ( to CIF to APO).  when we use a TVARV entry, we have a limitation of using only 500 entries at a times. so the number of materials in Integration Model  is restricted.
is there any way not to specify the materials in the integration model but during runtime.
    regards
    Joe

    Joe
Here is one way to solve the problem . Create a custom field in MARA . It will be a boolean field with values " " and some other non blank value say "Y" . For the materials that you like to transfer to APO , set the value of this custom field to "Y" .
You can enhance your integration model selection criteria and add fields to the IM selection. Add the custom field to the selection . Refer note 360723 . It explains how to add  fields to IM selection
Save a variant of the integration model with value for custom field = "Y" .  Now all you have to do on a daily basis is to go and set the custom field to Y for materials that you want to CIF to APO . This will make sure the materials get picked by the IM automatically.

  • EWM-ECC  CIF Integration model

    Hello All,
I want to tansfer data for plant, shipping point, customer and vendor from ERP to EWM.For this I have created Integration model. When I am trying to activate this I could not as I am getting message like'Queue for current initial data transfer is deregistered-Tgt System: APOCLNT800-Deregistered Queue' and hence Inbound queue blocked.
What could be the reason for this message. How to unblock this Inbound queqe?
    Thanks,
    Shailesh

    Hi  James,
Thanks. But this error is due to queue 'CFLD*  System is not activating integration model and showing error like this'Operation terminated due to error (queue CFLD*, target system APOCLNT800)'
In SMQR I could not find this queue to acivate ,I tried in SMQ1/SMQ2, but I could not find this queue.
Do I need to create this queue? I yes I am unkown T.code for this. Do you have any idea?
    Thanks,

  • Not able to include PM order type PM03 in integration model

    Hi Experts,
I am creating PM order in R/3 with order type PM03. But while creating the integration model for maintaince order, PM03 is not populating. and others I am getting like PM01, PM02 etc...
Please advise if I need to do some setting for the same.
    Thanks
    Hitesh

    Hi,
Request you to cross check whether the PM03 order type has the below two check box active  in IMG. 9 Tcode = OIOA
Open Item Management and Release Immediately.
PM03 order type with the above settings are getting reflected for me in my integration model.

  • Activtion of PPM Integration Model does not send any data to APO

    Hi all,
When I activate my PPM Integration Model, the activation finishs without any error, but no data is being tranfered to APO.
I do not get any error message to start looking for the problem.
    Thanks and regards,
    LHM

    Hi Luiz,
"no data is being transfered to APO" Which data are you looking for?? I am assuming youa re expecting a PPM to be created in APO.
    If so,
    1. Do you see any PPm in /sapapo/scc03?
    2. Check if the pre reqs. for creating PPM as in [Integration of Production Process Models|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm50/helpdata/en/8e/d4ef37e9a4ba6ee10000009b38f842/frameset.htm] are satisfied.
    3. make sure to check the inbound APO queue or outbound R/3 queue depending on what you are using.
    4. Also not the time of activation and check CFG1 in R/3 to see if you can get any clues.

  • PPM Integration Model Activation did not send delta change data

    Hi all,
I have an integration model of PPM's. I activated the PPM for the initial transfer.
When I create a new prod. version, I created a new version of the model for PPM, above the previous active one.
When I activated the new version of model, the system tried to send all data.
I supposed that the system would only send the changed data, because the previous model is active.
but the system sent all PPM's
    and it takes too long.
Would you please answer why does the system react like that and what must we do?
    Mehmet

    Hi
In order to check what is occuring, in your ERP system look at Table CIF_PPM_CHANGED, this will tell you the Material, Plant and Prod Vers of your PPM,s. It also has a field CHANGED to tell you if any changes have taken place and a field PROCESS, which should be set to "X" if the change has passed over to APO.
Check the values in your table to see if this has been set. It should only send the delta records where there is a value in CHANGED and PROCESS=" ".
Also check to ensure that people are not changing the Bills of Material or Routings etc, as this will also resend the PPM´s.

  • Error activating integration model in APO

    Hi,
I would like to have a solution to the folowing problem.
I've tried to activate integration models in ECC with transaction CFM2.
I've build several integration models for class, customer, masterdata and transaction data.
When I try to activate one of these integration models the system gives the next error message:
    outbound queue blocked
    Function/Q/SAPAPO/CIF_CBASE_INB
Text:        Reference product has not been classified
I would like to know what causes the problem and how to solve this problem.
I hope to receive an answer soon.
    Thanks for the help!
    kind regards,
    Marco

    Hi,
A program enhancement allows you to exclude the relationship between a product and a reference material from the transfer.
The prerequisite for this solution is that this "reference material for materials that can be packaged in the same way" is not required in SCM and is not relevant for the transfer.
    Procedure:
Start transaction SMOD. Display the components of enhancement CIFMAT01. On the following screen, double-click function module EXIT_SAPLCMAT_001 (user exit '001' of function group 'CMAT', program SAPLCMAT). In the program editor that appears, double-click include ZXCIFU01. You may have to create the inlcude again if necessary. Implement the system response you want in this include (follow the sample coding given below).
    Example:
    DATA: LS_MATKEYX TYPE  CIF_MATKYX.
    LOOP AT CT_CIF_MATKEYX INTO LS_MATKEYX.
      if link_to_RMATP_needed = 'X'.
        continue.
      endif.
       clear LS_MATKEYX-EXTRMATP.
       MODIFY CT_CIF_MATKEYX FROM LS_MATKEYX.
    ENDLOOP.

  • Regarding Integration Model to CIF from ECC to APO

    Hi ,
Please assist me in the following issues:
What will the impact if any material is ciffed twice or multiple times from ECC to APO through IM ...will it generate inconsistency ? if so, how we can avoid this ?
While I'm ciffing the material from ECC to APO through IM, the ' Find Master Data Object ' is showing certain number say 'X' but when I'm running CTM for it the explosion of BOM  of Master Data is showing less number of material than 'X'...in that case what might be the possible issue ?
While generating IM , can I club Sale Order, Sale Order Stock, Planned Order, Prodn order under same variant ? or ill it generate inconsistency ?
    TIA
    -Michael

    Hi Michael,
    1. It is not a problem. Is is quite common to CIF materials twice a days or even more. It shoul not generate inconsistencies.
    2. You could have more materials than materials bith BOM. In other words, maybe not all your materials have a BOM.
    3. Its recommended to have a separate integration model for your object.
Read this document with the Best Practices:
    https://websmp102.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000715082008E
Also, note that I was mentioned by Dog Boy, it is convinient asking single questions in your threads. This way you will find more responses.

  • Integration model activation

    Hi All
Goal : To activate the Integration model
Right now, we are working on quality systems (both ECC and APO). There is a Int.Model for masterdata from ECC to APO. The Integration model is not getting activated.
Reason: In APO under /sapapo/cq we have these line items "Base unit of measure for product X cannot be changed' (several hundreds of materials).
Looks like there is a mismatch of Units of measurement for the same product in ECC and APO. For now I am matching the Units of Measurements in both the systems, but its kind of cumbersome because there are several hundreds of materials in the queues.
Also, suprisingly there are some products whose Units of measurements *match* and are still in the line items (queues)
Is there any better way to address this and activate the Integration model?
    Thanks
    Pooja
Edited by: Pooja Challa on Sep 29, 2009 9:03 PM

    Hi Pooja,
It is not advisable to change the base unit of measure in R/3 for the materials which have been transferred to APO. But it may be necessary to change it in R/3. During that time SAP is kind enough to give the warning.
I am not sure how many materials are there in R/3 whose unit of measure has changed. If it is possible to find out using some kind of change document report then it will be good input to next step.
Next step would be to maintain new base unit of measure of the material in the R/3 system is created as an alternative unit of measure of the product in APO (transaction /SAPAPO/MAT1, 'Units of Measure' tab) so that the units can be converted in APO if necessary.
Since you only change the base unit of measure in an R/3 system in exceptional cases, it is assumed that you will subsequently change the change material manually in APO.
    Thanks and Best Regards, Manoj
PS: I would encourage you to have look at following notes:
Note 832595 - Product: Base unit of measure cannot be changed using CIF
Note 809596 - Product: Base unit of measure must not be changed

  • BOP selects products without an active ATP CIF integration model ?

    Hello experts,
while setting up a GATP BOP Process I'm realizing that BOP is not automatically restricting the products from the loaction to which have an active ATP CIF model.
    Example:
    Location: 1000
    Products: A, B, C
Product A is in APO for DP and SNP reasons and there is no ATP CIF model for A-1000 combination. Products B and C have been setup only for GATP reasons (but not for DP and SNP). If I run the BOP for entire location 1000 (product fiter = empty) it is picking all 3 products including product A and is rescheduling Sales orders for product A in location 1000 - although there is no GATP CIF model active.
Is this standard behaviour or do I miss anything here ? (I assumed that APO would never take a product into a BOP Filter which does not have an active and standing GATP integration model towards the ECC system.)
    Regards
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,
SAP documentation as in below URL
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm70/helpdata/en/9c/066f3928025a6ee10000000a114084/frameset.htm
states for filtering criteria in its pre-requisite . It appears that it only looks for materials filtered in BOP (i.e it does not look for materials meant for ATP check in its CIF).
However, let us wait for comments from experts.
    With regards,
    Mrinal

  • More than one CIF integration model possible for material?

    Hi Gurus,
we want to have two different integration models (with non-overlapping selections) for materials to be able to have separate selections, but we cannot make it work.
When we create them the first time and then activate them, everything works fine: both models send their products to APO in the initial load. However, if there are changes in products in both models, when we generate and then activate one of the models, the changes in the other one are lost: the generation-activation of the second model does not send any product to APO even if there were any changes in the master data (and we see the ALE pointers as processed in the table)
Is there any workaround to solve this issue in a system without CIF pointers in BDCP2?? The ECC system is below the relevant releases and will not be upgraded in the near future.
We could not find any mention to an existing limitation on the number of models being one neither in OSS notes nor the help pages.
    thanks a lot,
    Pablo

    Pablo,
It is common to have multiple Integration Models for Materials.
I have never heard of transaction BDCP2.  I also have never seen the problem you describe.
I usually prefer not to use change pointers at all for Master data, such as Materials.  You can alter this behavior in CFC9, and instead use Business Transfer Events.  This means that all fields that are relevant for 'change transfer' to SCM will move across almost immediately after saving the changed material master.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm70/helpdata/EN/c8/cece3be9cd4432e10000000a11402f/frameset.htm
Also read the links contained in this page.
If you wish to actually perform a new 'initial load', then run the Integration model through program RIMODINI.  It may be a lengthy run.
As always, check first in your Qual system before committing to production.
    Best Regards,
    DB49

  • CIF Integration Model Enhancement

    Guys,
From ECC to APO, I want to send across all materials which are marked as Procurement Type "E" in the material master's MRP 2 view.
But standard CIF Integration model does not support to select materials with Procurement Type (in CFM1 Transaction there is no "Procurement Type" selection.)
Does anybody know how to create the field "Procurement Type" in the integration model, that means how to get an enhanced Integration Model which will contain customised fields.
    Thanks
    Kumar

It can be done- You can add a new selection option. However I would recommend not to disturb the Original CFM1 Screen.
Instead write a wrapper program which does the simple query and writes the values in the TVARVC Variables.
You can use the TVARVC variable in the CFM1 variant.
So Whenever you run the CFM1 in a batch job
You would have to run the WRAPPER PRogram as the first step and then the second step would be to run the CFM1.
Let me know If you need details of the wrapper program.

  • Integration model generation

    Hi,
We have a integration model for master data- Schedule lines and contracts. We have a background job that generates and activates the model. If I regenerate the model in CFM1, does it hurt anything for the job?
I think every time you generate a model, a new model will be generated right? Does this cause any discrepancy?
    Thanks.

There are two types of sending data to APO through CIF
    1) Sending only changes (Delta)
    2) Sending everything (Delta+ New creation).
Considering there are three materials which changed on a certain day then just activating the IM model will work perfectly fine.
If along with three materials there was also an addition of a brand new material in R/3 . Then only by generating the Integration model will not help .
You will have to delete the original IM and recreate the same IM by using variants then activate the IM. By doing so it will consider as a initial transfer and send all the three old materials and the brand new material changes to APO.
If you feel it is useful pelase reward points.
The reason behind this behaviour : When you try to activate already existing IModel, then it only activates those objects which are already been generated and present during the generation of the IM.
So if a new material is created you will need more than just to generate. You will have to delete the model, generate the model, activate the model.
    Thank You

  • System copy:integration models altered

    Hi SCM experts,
We have APO 4.1 connected to ECC system.Recently the QAS data is refreshed with PRD data and after that all CIF integration model variants in QAS are pointing to PRD system. There are more than 100 integration model variants and changing the logical system mnaualy to QAS client is taking long time.
Is there any standrad report or t.code by means of which we can do a mass maintenance of these integration model variants ?

    Hi deeparai,
You can change the name of logical system in ECC table CIF_IMOD. However, the integration models will not become active unless you generate them again (CFM1/2/3).
Hope this helps in reducing manual work.

  • CIF - Integration model name and APO application

    Hi Experts,
In the CFM1 Transaction, there are 3 mandatory inputs are Model name, Logical system and APO application.
Logical systems are customized in CFC1 transaction. I couldn't trace the model name and application creation.
What is the transaction to customize/Create the new Model name and APO application.
Hope this is very simple question to you and expect your soon.
    Thanks,
    Saravanan V

    Hi Somnath,
    Thanks for ur reply.
First I saved the selection as variant. But it was not updated in the IM table.
Then I tried to generate the model and now I can see the details when I use the F4 help.
So, to create a integration model need to generate the variant once.
    Thanks for the confirmation.
    Thanks,
