Thanks and kind regards

For numerical integration methods google for Runge-Kutta, Simpson
rule or predictor-corrector methods.
For symbolic integration methods google for 'CAS' (Computer Algebra
System) and be prepared for a can of slimey worms then ...

  • Image not showing in Abobe integrated with Java WebDynPro

    Hi All,
Image is not showing in Abobe integrated with Java WebDynPro.
    I did the following:
Added the image field in adobe form. in URL value set the value of context node binding. Binding set to none and size set to Use Original Size.
Then in script editor i wrote
    this.value.image.href = xfa.resolveNode(this.value.image.href).value;
at innitialize , javascript and client.
I can see the image from the same url context value if image field is created directly in WebDynPro View.
Can anyone suggest what is missing?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Nuzhat

Try changing your line of code for this one
    this.value.image.href = xfa.record.Images.URL;
Check that the url passed by scripting is correct with a messageBox for example.
You can also try assigning a hardcoded url at scripting level to check if its works.
    Best regards, Aldo.

  • Registration of Business system for the Integration Engine Java in the SLD issue

    Hi,
We have completed the installation of PI-AEX 7.4 SR1 then we ran the below wizards successfully.
    - Configuration Wizard: PI-AEX initial setup
    - Configuration Wizard: PI Self Test for AEX
However when we were Checking the AEX Configuration as per help.sap.com
Check the registration of a business system for the Integration Engine Java in the SLD:
        Enter https://<host>:<port>/sld .
Choose Start of the navigation path Business System Next navigation step Integration Engine Java <SID> Next navigation step Integration End of the navigation path.
The pipeline URL must be: http://<host_fully_qualified>:<port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?ximessage=true .
    More information: SAP Note 1435392
for us the Pipeline URL is as below
    http://<host_fully_qualified>:<port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet
and the rest " ?ximessage=true "  is not there.
Also we ran the below wizard
Configuration Wizard: PI Self Test for AEX
and it finished successfully without any issue.
Any Suggestions what could be missing.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
I found the below SAPNOTE which confirms that the Pipeline URL should be

  • APEX application integration into Java application

    Hello,
I'm working on a new APEX application and I would like to integrate that application into an existing Java application.
The integration should be invisible for the end-users. Our application will have the same look and feel as the Java application.
The existing menu of the Java app will be extended with a new link. This link will then call our application.
Visually I was thinking about using an Iframe to display the content of the APEX application inside the Java generated xHTML.
This is however not the biggest issue.
We are working in a secure context and we thus need to make sure that our APEX application doesn't create a backdoor on the
security mechanism provided by the Java app.
Some options have come to mind, but the one that look best is this:
We keep the java application as the single point of entry for our end-users and make sure that the apex application is "hidden".
We could do this by means of some re-routing code in the java application so that the incomming requests there are send to the correct server (java or apex).
Then we will need to capture the response of the APEX application and place it inside the Java generated xHTML. The combined content is then send to the client.
Or we could place a reverse proxy server that does this for us.
The goal is thus that we can rely on the existing java application to cover the security and the navigation structure.
    Any ideas on this ?
    How-to's or other options ?
    thanks & regards

  • Unable to Launch Integration Builder: Java Web Start problem

    Hi,
I am unable to launch the integration builder. I am using JDK 1.4.2_05. The java Web Start gives the following error:
Unsigned application requesting unrestricted access to system
    Unsigned resource: http://<XIHostName>:50000/rep/repository/aii_util_rb.jar
I have tried deleting the Java web start cache, and even reinstalling the JDK.
Can someone suggest a workaround this problem ?
    thanks,
    Manish

The Java Web Start cannot accept unsigned jars. If the jars are signed, it will ask in a dialog box if it should allow unrestricted access to this jar.
In my case, I upgraded XI SP0 to SP4, which included updating the Adapter Core, Adapter Framework, and the XI TOOLS to SP4.
On launching the Web start, it seemed that the jars were not getting signed. JWS cannot allow unsigned jars to the client.
    These jars are maintained in:
    \usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\directory_server\javaws\directory
I am having problems with my XI upgrade to SP4, and it is probably not signing the jars.
Do you know why this may be happening ...
    thanks,
    Manish

  • Adobe Form integration from java webdynpro to ABAP webdynpros

Developed an Interactive Forms in Web Dynpro for Java. I am trying to find a way to integrate this into ABAP webdynpros. Is it possible to do this. I found this article and it looks like it supports this.
Before the introduction of the XML-based interface, an ABAP Dictionary-based interface was created for a form during integration of the same. Such an interface, however, was not easily linked to the context of a Web Dynpro component. All the forms created from within the Web Dynpro context are not automatically equipped with an XML-based interface. In certain situations, however, it can be necessary to integrate an old form with a function module-based interface into a Web Dynpro application. The Web Dynpro runtime makes it possible, in principle, to display or print such a form within a Web Dynpro
application. In special cases, it is even possible to integrate a form of this type in an interactive mode
Any help on this is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Hi there
Not sure if you mean converting an Interactive form built for WD JAVA into a WD ABAP application
or just using Interactive forms in general with WD ABAP - certainly this it is possible to use Interactive
Forms in general with WD ABAP as HCM Processes and Forms is WD ABAP based and uses Adobe interactive forms
Perhaps the following articles will be of use

  • Using GAP math software with Java 1.4, possible?

    Hello all,
i work at a tech university and a Prof. has the following question:
Some of his students want to use a free math software package called GAP with their diploma work. Question is: Can they use the GAP package with Java 1.4 Math Class and how does one interact between using GAP and Java 1.4?
If anyone can help, i would be much obliged.
    Thank you.
    Raymund

There does not seem to be any such capability, based on the articles in the GAP forum. You might want to look at this article which mentions a means of using Maple and GAP from Java programs.

  • Integrating SAP Java Connector with SAP XI

    Hi XI experts
We are about to integrate our SAP ERP2004 system with a new WMS system.  The vendors of the WMS system normally integrates with ERP directly through SAP Java Connector, but we would like to put SAP XI between the two systems so we have good way of monitoring the messages beeing sent.
I would like to make a synchronous test scenario where we send a ARTMAS idoc from SAP to XI which sends it to the WMS. After WMS system receives the ARTMAS Idoc it sends an acknowledgement back to XI which passes it on to SAP.
The integration would then look like this:
SAP ERP <-> SAP XI <-> WMS (Jco)
Is this scenario possible? And if so, how would you suggest to set it up?
I was thinking of using the RFC adapter to connect to the Java Connector of WMS, but am not sure if this is the right approach or how it should be set up.
Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated.
    Best Regards
    Chris

I have made a setup like this:
    SAP <-> XI <-> WMS
    The Scenario is like this:
SAP sends an ARTMAS03 idoc to XI which maps it directly to the same ARTMAS03 idoc structure (need a few changes in the future so thats why im not using IDOC tunnelling) then it uses a RFC receiver adapter to connect to our SAP gateway, where the WMS is registrered through JCO.
When I first sent the idoc, i got a "RfcAFWException: failed to read funtionname from XML document: missing namespace declaration(2)" then after reading Q23 in note 730870, I used the RFCNormalizer xslt to change the namespace to a "urn:sap-com:document:sap:rfc:fuctions" instead of the "urn:sap-com:document:sap:idoc:messages". The error is now "functiontemplate from repository was <null>".
As far as i can see the error is because the metadata repository defined in the RFC adapter cant find the function module that normally would be in the root of a RFC-XML. But I dont know how I can send an Idoc through the rfc adapter to the gateway then. Anyone got some ideas?
    Thanks
    Chris

  • Error launching integration repository (Java)

    Hi,
When trying to launch the integration repository side (within the explorer), I get a poup requesting a network password to a scheme. I am not sure what to enter after clicking on the No button, the box pops up saying that it is checking for latest version.
Any ideas, I can not get into the repository.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
It seems to be a problem with the Browser proxy setting that Java web start is picking up by default.
go to preferernces and set the proxy to none.
Proxy has to been set none in Java web start not in IE.
    Also
Your browser settings might be restricting you to access web start every time and asking for your authorization before it logs on. Try to access your XI Server from some other machine and check that are you still getting the same issue:
To access XI Server use this path:
    http://<xiserver name of IP Address>:<J2EE port number>/rep/start/index.jsp
You can check proxy settings in : Open Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet options -> Go to Connections tab -> Lan Settings.
    Thanks

  • JavaFX: looks great, but why not integrated in Java?

I browsed some JavaFX tutorials, read some articles and played with JavaFXPad. JavaFx looks great!
I did this because I heard about this new scripting language with tight Java integration. JavaFXPad and some others tools using JavaFx are written in Java. So why do we need a separate JavaFX interpreter/tool? I hoped to write some nice JavaFXScripts and just call them on all our computers that already have the Java 1.6 JRE installed.
Or is JavaFX just bleeding edge and is planned to be integrated in future JREs?

    > 3rd party external "virtual machine".
Didn't bother read the link, did you? Don't bother answering that. I know you didn't because the very first sentence on the very first page tells you that Groovy is built for the JVM.
Oh, and regards to "third party external"...
    http://www.jcp.org/en/jsr/results?id=2490
    > Perhaps some day JavaFX Script will find its way into the JRE ...
Groovy's already there. Groovy scripts are compiled to bytecode and run on the JVM. I recommend actually reading the link. You might accidentally learn something. ;o)

  • BPM Integration with Java webdynpro

    Hi All,
I am new in BPM forum . I want to integrate one JWD DC to anather JWD (Java webdynpro) so i need to pass one value to anather Dc using BPM .
    My Scenario is..
I want to pass one unique value from one component (person who is created the  unique value l) to anther component (to fetch that value from second level in portal ) and showing in Portal work flow  task as LEAVE Request or approval scenario .
    Thanks
    Sudhir

    Hi Sudhir,
from your explanations it is not completely clear which of the following scenarios applies to you:
    1) Both WebDynpro Components are connected to each other via WebDynpro Component dependencies. This would mean that a user is able to directly navigate from one to the other. A BPM process is not involved at all. In this case, you might consider to use WebDynpro context mapping or passing an URL parameter.
    2) Each WebDynpro Component is assigned to a dedicated BPM Task which again is integrated into a BPM process. Users would open the WebDynpro Components as Tasks from the UWL without a direct navigation between the components. In this case, you have to use a process context and context mapping in BPM to transfer the value between the WebDynpro components.
    Best regards,
    Stefan
