MATNR in CCSS - Report Painter
All,
I would like adding new characteristic to table CCSS and use it in GRR2.
I added field MATNR (data element MATNR) to customer include CI_CC1Z and I activated the characteristic in my report libraries. And OK I can see Material as a characteristic in GRR1/GRR2.
But I don't know what should I do to report basic key figures like Costs or Quantity (in period) for my group of materials.
Now if I try to run my report I have error:
Message no. GR410 - "Characteristic MATNR cannot be combined with key figures"
So could You help me resolve this problem?
Hoverer, I found something like virtual characteristic which we can create using structure CI_CC1S, table T804C, and write exit in program SAPFK21R.
Do you know how to do it?

I read this note before, but I still don't know how to write a ABAP code.
I need information from table COEP like sum of qunatity or costs. I have this information for Cost Elements and Orders in CCSS but I don't have for Materials.

Orestis ChaitasI am designing the P&L report and I want to split my R&D expenses split down by Internal Orders. Since, I have not seen Internal order field in summary table of new GL..ie., FAGFLEXT table.
I want to know how this can be achieved in the same report in report painter.
I am talking this issue from Report Painter point of view where each report is based on library , which is defined per summary table.(ie., Library can refer to only one table....finding it odd to believe there is no join in reporting tool).....

Read Purchase data using Report painter with CCSS structure
Hi
I'm triying to set-up a simple Budget by material procedure using Rosurces defined as material and KP06 to plan Qty and Values.
All works fine.
Later I need to write a report for Compare Planned vaues and Effective values at material (resource) level.
Unfortunately resource can be used only for planning, so none Effective values is available in CO.
I thought to write a Report using Report painter and library 1VK (CCSS structure) for planned values and import from a LIS table the effective values (Ordered, Invoiced) directly from Puirchasing environment.
Is it possible by using exit or other tools, import LIS data into a CO Report painter program ???

I try to specify better my need.
I've defined using report painter a Z report using Report Painter.
Inside teh new Report, I can use a Customer key-figure which does'nt exist in the CCSS structure.
Is there any solution to Read data from other SAP tables and use these info into the report.
I'm not very frioendly with Set, Key-figures and variables, and I'd like to undestand if my needs can be solved using Report-painter.

Report Painter/Writer Display SKF and G/L expenses using CCSS table
Dear Experts,
I need to create Report painter/Writer report to display SKF and G/L expense line items for particular cost center in one report. I am using CCSS table while creating report.Please share your experiences how can i acheive the SKF and expensesd line items.I tried to create report selecting SKF and G/L account in rows with one option and another option is Cost element in one row and G/L account in column1.Both ways the i tried but system is not showing SKF details. By the way SKF is activated in CCSS table.

you can use 2 sections.
First section the cost element as rows, values in columns (ACtual, Target deviation,...)
2nd section the stat. key figures in rows, the quantities in columns (Actual, Plan, deviation,...)

Report Painter: How to add new(customer specific) field to CCSS table
Dear Experts,
We have requirement to display the orders based on Profit center or Profit center groups in report painter. So in report library(6O1), we want to add fieild PRCTR or any customer specific field(ZPRCTR) to CCSS table. Could you please let us know how to add field ?
or is possible to add customer specific field(ZPRCTR) in CCSS and link that field to Profit Cetner(PRCTR) and profit center group.

Custom fields in Report painter in CCSS table
Hello Experts,
I am in a processes of developing a report painter with custom fields in the selection screen.
The custom fields are available in PRPS table.
With hard difficulties I brought the custom fields in selection screen of the report painter.
I have added the fields in the structure CI_CC1S
Everything is fine. But if I enter a value in the custom field, the report is not fetching any data.
These custom fields are related to the WBS element.
For example if the value of the CUSTOM field is 'AAA', then I want to retrieve ony the WBS element which has 'AAA'.
Somewhere I am missing a procedure.
Could anyone suggest how to achieve this.

How to check what table is really used in a certain report painter.
For my case, I want to a report 1KSL-001 under 1VK library, and I can see this 1VK library is using table "CCSS", but CCSS acctually is not a table, its just a structure.
So, how to use what tables are used while running report 1KSL-001?

Project Report in Report Painter
Hi,
Need your help for one of my issue.
Current issue in the System / reqirment:
There is a project report in report painter-GR55 which used to provide planed / actual cost and planed / actual quantity of the project. Whenever we are trying to run the report for several years and periods there is no cumulative data displaying. E.g. if we want to execute the report for the range of 001 period/2009 fiscal year to 004 period/2010 fiscal year, system is displaying data of 2009 and 2010 for the period of 01 to 04 only and there is missing data for period from 05 till 12 in 2009
Root cause:
There is no field in table-CCSS for the fiscal year/ period (FISCPER field name). As per the OSS note-157720 this is standard behavior of report painter. SAP suggested to build new report group based on OSS note-157720.
Approach:
An an alternative we used table-RWCOOM as there is field fiscal year/period (FISCPER). The new report group is working fine except planed cost of the project as the planed cost of the service orders are added up to project planed cost. We found there is missing field name-Object indicator which will restrict planed cost of the service order flow into project for which planed cost of the service orders are added up to project cost plan. This field-object indicator is available in table-CCSS.
Looking for now to fix the issue:
Option-1
We are looking for any field similar to object indicator in table-RWCOOM which will restrict planed cost of service flow into Project
Option-2
Build new report based on OSS Note-157720.
Please advise for this issue.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. A small query i got here while building the auxilarry coloumns-2 and 3.
As per the Note (157720), in the auxilary coloumn-2 for the period we have to define period as 0 .....from period-1. Whereas my from period will be 1 and i can't provide from period-1 here
In same way for Auxilarry coloumn-3 period details as per the Note will be To period +1 ...17 whereas my to period will be 12 so i may not enter the details.
System will forbid if to period value is less than from period value.
Could you guide me on this.

Getting Error in Report painter
Dear All ,
i am getting an error after i execute a report in report painter,
Getting the following errors,
Characteristic Ledger does not exist
Characteristic Record Type does not exist
Characteristic Ledger does not exist
Message no. GR655
Diagnosis
The characteristic must (message type E) or should (message type W) be addressed in the report definition. This means that a set must/should exist for the characteristic in the definition of the report rows, report columns, or report selection.
For performance reasons, it is important that you limit the value ranges of those key fields located at the start of the database key as much as possible.
Procedure
Define a set for this characteristic in the report.
Note
In Controlling (Table CCSS), different characteristics (cost center, order, project, etc.) are portrayed internally with a common technical characteristic, "Object". In reports, either a specific characteristic such as cost center must be used, or the characteristic "Object" must be used directly. If this is not the case, an error message appears saying that the "Object" characteristic is missing.

Report painter, Internal orders and profit center accounting
hi,
I want to do a report using data from internals orders (AUFNR) and profit center accounting (PRCTR).
I can make individual reports for internals orders (6O1, CCSS) and for profit center accounting (8a2, GPLCA) but I can't combinate data from internals orders and profit center accounting.
Is it possible make a report using report painter that show data of internals orders and profit center accounting.
All my internals orders have a profit center accounting.

Report Painter - How to identity statistical orders in a Cost Center Report
Hello,
currently I am in the process of building a cost center report based on reporting tabel CCSS.
This report should list all primary and secondary costs which are charged to a specific cost center/cost center group .
The cost center or cost center group is given in the general data selection.
All direct primary cost postings are identified in rows like this:
- Cost Element (SET): cost element group A1, A2,...Axx
- Business Transaction Type: COIN
All primary cost postings deriving from (real) internal orders are identified like this:
- Cost Element: 1 to 9999999999
- Business Transaction: KOAO
- Partner object number: 0 to 99999999
Now here is the problem:
The controlling department requests to identify all primary cost postings to the given cost center which have been postet to a statistical internal order at the same time. The most part of the primary costs have been directly postet to the cost center in the Additioanal Account Assignments. But some have been posted to the cost center and at the same time to a statistical internal order.
Looking into BSEG I can quickly identify these line items as they have a value in BSEG-KOSTL and BSEG-AUFNR.
How can I select these items in a report painter report?
I would like to separate all items whith connection to statistical int. orders from those with no connection to internal ordes.

You hints and remarks are very much appeciated.
My problem seems to be slightly more complicated than what I had expected.
All postings to the cost center/cost center group are actual postings. The cost center is the "real" cost element, there are no postings of value type 11 here.
Most postings have the cost center as the only cost element, but others additionally mention a statistical order.
My goal is to seperate those postings to the cost center [as (real) cost element] plus the statistical order from those with only the cost center.
I would also like to sort these postings by the order number.
I could easily write two reports:
One for the cost center and another one only for the statistical orders. The latter would use value type parameter 11 (as you proposed!). Unfortunately, I do not know all order numbers tied to the cost center. As table BSEG is not suitable for SAP Query, I run into deep problems here.
I know I have problem in the design of my report here and I would like to sort out, which options I have.
Is Report Painter a suitable tool for me here anyway?

Error in report painter with change versión

I have a problem with report painter. we are an upgrade from 4.7 to 6.0. The reports created in the previous version work correctly and show all data in columns, but in version 6.0, that is not equal to run the same reports they do not show all data. The reports are created using a library that feeds on the table CCSS, I tried creating a library and a report from scratch but still the error continues. Please if you can help me.HI
Please use the account group option in the report not the cost element option.

Situation is like this:
The customer has 3 different company codes which all use different currencies as local currency. They use only one controlling area (Euro).
100=EURO
200=DKK
300=SEK
The report painter report is for their administrative costs. what has gone wrong if i run the report for example all cost centers in company code 200 and cant see the total sum in DKK. I assume that the problem is because there are postings in different currencies.
Could someone tell me how to create a report which shows the total sum clearly in DKK even if there are postings in different currencies. I know that there is S_ALR_87005721 transaction where you can change the currency settings but no success. Plese tell me how to change the formula + any other comments warmly welcome. The postings included in report should be automatically translated to DKK on their posting day currency. There is a challenge for someone.
At the moment i have only one characteristic in Total definition (GRR2):

Your approach is correct, if you wish to display the data in another currency
then as you have described you will need to make a copy of the reports / forms (for
example create a custom form based on the current one) using transactions CJE1
and CJE4 then modify these custom forms by adding new columns for the value in
object currency and by deactivating the columns which refer to the values in controlling
area currency. You can create your own transaction codes for calling these custom
reports (based on the modified forms).
Regarding displaying the values in object currency SAP Note 1925431 provides further
information on this.

In a Report in ReportPainter, I have in the General Data Selection the following selected characteristics. They are:
