MAXL - Display Filter Row truncating filters

Using the Display Filter Row command in MAXL, the filter details are being truncated to a 20 character width column. How can I affect the output to widen this column??? Example output: application database filter area privilege ----------------------------------------------------------------------------+------------------- MyApp MyDb MyFilter @IDESCENDANTS("Acco no_access Hopefully this lines up in your display. The @IDescendants statement goes on many mor characters than is being spooled out. What am I missing? Thanks!

There is a MAXL shell command set column_width NN The default is 20. If you need 100 characters, the on the script line before your filter call, set column_width 100; when complete, you can set the width bac to 20 with set column_width default; THis command governs the output from the MAXL scripts.

It is looking like you are saving them as workbooks. It will be possible to maintain fliters if you save with the filters given by workbook properties, not by manual feeding.
let us know with clear expectation if you are not clear with it.

Displaying Filter Content in defined order

Now we will take two filter
In filter 1
   *If you double click the component it will show the properties -
>in general tab
   *mark the labels cells column z
   *INSERTION TYPE select label
   *DESTINATION cell A1
In filter 2
    *If you double click the component it will show the properties -
>in behaviour tab
SELECTED ITEM -->ITEM->select cell A1 (which is destination of filter 1
    *in in general tab
    *LABELS--->BIND THE COLUMN A
    *INSERTION TYPE--->row or filtered row
    *SOURCE---->BIND THE COLUMN B
    *DESTINATION---->A2
NOW DISPLAY THE A2 CELL Through spreadsheet or some component.....
Now hide the filter 2 by changing the colour .......

How to filter rows where multiple columns meet criteria, ignoring rows where only some columns meet criteria

Question: How do I filter rows out of a query where multiple columns are equal to a single question mark character?
Background: I'm using SQL 2008 R2. Furthermore, the part of my brain that helps me create less-than-simple queries hasn't been working for the last 4 days, apparently, and now I need help.
We have about 4,000 rows in a table. This data set was generated from an exported report, and many of the rows in the detail table were not actual data rows but were simply "header" rows. For those table rows, most of the columns have
a single question mark as the value.
Some of the detail rows have one or more question mark values, too, so it's important that these rows don't get filtered out.
When I include criteria like "WHERE col1 <> '?' AND col2 <> '?' AND col3 <> '?' AND col4 <> '?'", all rows with a question mark value for even a single one of those columns get filtered out. How do I filter out rows
where all columns 1-4 contain a question mark value?

How to Control the width of the Filter row in Table View

Hi !
I have a Table View with filter='application'. The filter works fine but I am not able to control the width of the columns of the tableview .
On filtering, if there are not items in the table view the columns shrink to the minum width....and it looks very odd.
Can you help me how to control the width of the Filter-Row in Table Veiw.

"FIXEDCOLUMN" did not help in the width of the column, but it just showed all the rows merged in the column.
I have a cloumn called "COUNTRY" and its width is set to "20". The Filter of the column "COUNTRY" is a dropdownlist whos value is update with new values.
On filtering if there is any row visible then the column width is adjusted to the maxmimum length of the dropdownlist ( this is because of the "EDIT" attribute in column definition ). But if there is no rows visiblel for the selected filter value then the filter row shrinks to the width = "20" and the dropdownlist is not visible completely.
Need to know how to control the width of the FILTER column.

Can't find FILTER CONDITION for filters or Function_Name for Functions

In the Data Warehouse 11gr1 views all_iv_xform...
I can't seem to find the Filter Conditions for filters and function name for functions that are called.
I have looked at the other views in the documentation for the API's but can't seem to find this information.
Any body have any ideas where this information is?

TO Display the row data as column in ALV

I'm using jdeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 with ADF 11g.
I have to display the values in jsf frm table where i'm using DislayCertDetailVO . In dis VO i'm having a column no.of certificaties .taking dis column value when i navigate to other page jsf by selecting a specific row. here i have to display the selected row in multiple times based on the no.of.certificates column value.
I want to display specific row to display multiple time to repeat same row in a table in jsf based on the value from bean or table in database.

Hi, Trying it once more to give more clarity of my scenario.
I have to navigate from 1 screen to the other by picking a given table record/row from the 1st screen. While displaying the record on the 2nd screen the catch is that, I have to display it as many times as the value in a cell of the selected record.
eg.
screen 1
col1 col2 col3
2 order1 item1
[next]
On clicking next it should look like
screen2
col1 col2 col3 col4
order1 item1
order1 item1
where col3 and col4 will be editable by the user and col1 is the value depends how many times i have repeat the row/record

The issue is caused by the order in which the parameters appear in the report data tab can be difference between our report execution and it failing. In other words, “Parameter2” is execution before parameter “A” due to this issue. We can adjust the parameter’s
order to solve the issue.
If “Parameter2” is parameter “A”, we cannot use that expression. Because fields cannot be used in report parameter expression, if we want to display the first value returned from a query as default value, we have to fill the “Specify values” text box with
the specific value in Default Values dialog box.

Input ready query and display only rows

I am trying to replicate scenario which is equivalent to creating manual layout in SEM-BPS with settings for layout category - Key Figures in Data columns, and rows defined individually. In this version it is possible to restrict certain rows as comparision only.
How can I acheive this using Input ready query? In my query I have created a strucure for Planning Items, but I am not able to show certain planning item selections as display only.
Any thoughts?

Can you please let me know what exactly you meant by set the input flag on the cell level? What settings I have to change to set the flag, do I have to use any formula? In my example I have three rows for Planning item row structure and I want only one row to be selected as display only row.

Currently I have created Web template with Signle Document. When executed it in the Portal it will come up with a "Save" and "Cancel" button of its own and can allowing me to capture comment here & Finally Click on SAVE button which was stored in Documents area in RSA1.

In query properties in BEx query designer you have to do settings to - Display document links
For metadata, master data, and InfoProvider data for a query, you can display links to Documents that you have created for these objects. If documents exist for these objects, the symbol appears next to these objects. If you click on this symbol, you jump to where the document is displayed on the Web.
Highlight the appropriate setting so that the document links for the desired document class are displayed. The document classes are oriented to the various categories of BW objects. InfoProvider data, metadata and master data.

How to display more rows in Master-detail form

I am working on APEX3.2.
I have a master-detail form. The detail form always display 15 rows. However, my customer wants the detail display all the rows. I tries to configure the Number of Rows in the report. It doesn't work. How do I do it?

Hi:
To increase number of rows displayed you have to set Number of Rows and pay attention to both Number of Rows (Item) and Maximum Row Count.
After that if didn't work, sign out or close the browser then open it again. Sometimes it keeps the value in current session.

Hello guys. I would like to display files by default by other filter than "by name". I can change the display filter once, but at the restart of Bridge, it displays still by name because it is the "default". How can i change this "default display" ? Thank you

My problem is quite simple but i can't solve it.
In Bridge, the display filter of the pictures/files is by default by name.
I want the files to be displayed by default by type, and not by name.
I tried to change this by changing this parameter in the upper right corner of the window (see below).
But when I close Bridge, and restart it, the display is again on "by name". It's a little boring to reset this at each start of Bridge.
