MDM CO not displaying iview in GP

Hi Gurus,
I am able to create a GP process with webDynrpo Java. But when i am including the MDM operations and session commands in my webDynpro code, i am getting an error in the log file saying "This session id is already existing. The webDynrpo Application must have been called using wrong session parameters".
In the front end, after i add the MDM operation, I am getting a blank iview.
If i remove the MDM session commands, I get the iview fine, but without the MDM functionalities.
Please provide youur inputs.

Hi Experts,
I created a page with 2colums and assigned same iview 4 times. When I saw the preview of the page it shows 4 iviews in a page. I assigned page to role and tested, page shows only 2 iviews in First column only. Second column iviews is not displaying.

Hi Srinivasu,
The property of the iview that i mentioned is "Cache Level", check check this is set to none.
And also you can check in the page in the page content section that all the iview added to it, have the check box visible selected.

Portal favorites not displaying the iview.

Hi Team,
We have a home role with a welcome page which is the first role to be displayed to every user logged in to portal.
Now we have enabled the option "Add to Portal favorites" to the portal objects. So when a report (BI / Bo report) is added to the portal favorites we are able to see the report added to the portal favorites iview. But when we try to access the report directly from portal favorites the link is navigating to the exact report path but not displaying the report instead it is displaying the welcome page of the HOME role.
When i try to add Identity management iview of the User admin to the portal favorites and try to aceess it from Portal favorites iview, it navigates to the identity management page but the welcome page is displayed instead of the identity management iview.
Can you please let me know a fix for this.

First Name is not displayed on Family Details IView in ESS

Dear All,
We are facing problem in Family Details Iview in ESS India. Here what happens is that on family Details Iview Last name and Birth Name is displayed. First Name is not displayed on the Iview.
I Checked in the Structure HCMT_BSP_PA_IN_R0021. The fields are present in the structure.
So pls can anybody help me out in this issue.

Firstly check no UI elements are hidden via Personalization (Ctrl and Right Mouse button) on user level or in the PCD preview at administrator level

BSP iview Pages not displaying since moved to QA?

Hi All,
We're using MSS 60.1.20 and ESS 50.4. We have created a number of custom BSP iviews and have grouped them on some custom pages. These work perfetly fine in DEV but once we transported them to QAS, they data is not being displayed. The iview titles are being displayed and the iviews are in the correct position but no data is being output on the iviews. I've checked the BSP in R/3 and is working perfectly fine.
If i preview the iviews individually (rather than previewing the page in it's entirity), they display perfectly fine.
So why do they not display when they're on the page? Is there some parameter that i'm missing?
What could be different between dev and qas?
This is a very strange problem and its holding us up in our testing and we're due to go live fairly soon, so any guidance would be most welcome.

there will be a expand/collapse on the top right corner,check whether it is expanded or not

How to not display expired contract on Web-UI in SRM-MDM ?

Hi,
Our business is as following:
the contract is published to SRM-MDM V3.0, but if contract is expired, when I select the content from catalog to create sc, then    this kind of contract should not display on catalog, how to do ?

    You are right , My case is not what you mean.
    I transfer valid contract from SRM to Mdm catalog, maybe after several months ,the contract is expired compare to today, I don't expect this kind of contract display on the catalog UI to mislead the user.
   Of course, I know how to prevent user to creat SC with selected expired contract by BADI, But I think that is not good idea.
   Actually , I can also solve this issue by development in SRM BADI and MDM , expired contract will not display in catalog, but that will make many changes compared with standar function.
   I wonder whether SAP have the better solution.

'Access is denied' error in ESS iViews & Page not displayed' thru. internet

Hi,
We are implementing ESS(Webdynpro)/MSS(Java).
We are in EP6 SP13.
We want to put our portal on internet through SSL.
I have installed SAP Webdispatcher and configured it to support SSL. SAP webdispatcher is installed on a DMZ machine(hostname: SAPROUTER).
webdispatcher ports:
http port: 80
https port: 8443
1) When i try to access the portal from the DMZ machine (where the webdispatcher is installed) using https://saprouter.domainname.net:8443/irj/portal, i am able to see all the iViews.. but, i am getting 'access is denied' error(in the status bar) when i try to click on any link in ESS iViews (for ex: working time, Employee search).. when i try to double click i am getting javascript:void(0)
2) When i try to access the portal through internet(https://<ipaddress>:8443/irj/portal), I get the logon page and after logging in... i am not able to see the ESS and Transaction iViews .. getting 'Page cannot be displayed' error.
When i am able to see the iViews in the DMZ machine.. why are they not being displayed when i access through internet??
Can any1 help me in this regard?? What am i missing ??

Its a hot topic I think,
Where facing the exact same problems.
When we logon LOCAL to the Portal the iview works. (Not true the internet / DMZ)
But when we logon true the webdispatcher we get the Portal Layout, so the dispatcher works.
But the WEBdynpro Iview gives the error -> Page not displayed'
And when we edit the file hosts on the pc of the client browser and fill in the hostname of the SAP Portal the Iview works..???
There are no ports closed on the firewall, everything is allowed.
Can anyone tell me of its necessary to edit the Web Dynpro Runtime Environment. Here are some settings for the WEBdispatcher but I cant get it working.
- sap.webdispatcher.host = Defines the host of a used Web Dispatcher
- sap.webdispatcher.port = Defines the port of a used Web Dispatcher
- sap.webdispatcher.protocol = Defines the protocol of a used Web Dispatcher

When I activate the trace on the webdispatcher
(D:webdispsapwebdisp.exe pf=D:webdispsapwebdisp.pfl -t 2)
In the Tracefile I can see that the webdispatcher resolves the SAP portal system. Thats was aleady confirmed by seeing the portal framework from the client. I think that the WEBdynpros have to be remote activated, or some addition settings in the webdispatcher.
If somebody get an idée I really would like to know it.

Problem URL-IView - is not display in the Portal Content Area

I have a problem. My URL-IView is not displayed in the Portal Content Area. The setting "launch in new window " is "display in Portal Content Area". What can I do that the URL -IVIiew is not display in a separate window.

Not displaying link under "you can also" of uwl iview

Hi All,
The tasks which are getting into the inbox of manager are from "Negotiable internal charge workflow" (from FI backend sys) . when the manager selects the task, the preview of the task is displaying in the details area. in the details area, by default "view history" is displaying under "you can also".
now my requirement is i want to add one more link under "you can also". If the manager clicks on the link, it must display the log of current workitem which must be triggered from backend with transaction FV53.
everything is set in the backend system and teh link is displaying in the backend too but in portal, it is not displaying. How can i configure in portal to display the link under "you can also".
pls post your answers. I posted this question earlier but didn't get any response for this.

Hi Vila,
That means ur requirement is to modify the UI of the UWL default view of ur itemtype(Task).
What u can do is that u download the uwl.xml file and add the new action as link.
Simply add this action into ur default view. Try putting it after the "view history" action.
Revert back in case of issues.

Data of customize BSP in Enterprise Portal is not displayed

Dear All,
I stuck on to find out the solution, in order to display FAQ list in BSP Enterprise Portal by using customer id to logon to Enterprise Portal, need your guide.
Let me explain:
It is customize/own develop BSP application, which is search FAQ (maintain in trxn: crmd_iia_faq) based on product. This is done by calling standard FAQ FM in BSP code, pass in product GUID to retrieve list of FAQs, and display FAQs list in the BSP page. Also, from the FAQ details, call standard Problem and Solution FM to get the details of Problems and Solutions, and then display Problems and Solution in another BSP page.
In the other words, this custom BSP application display data which is maintain in transaction code: COMMPR01, CRMD_IIA_FAQ, and IS01.
Setup in portal to display this iview/BSP application is done, because I manage to access the main BSP page in portal after logon with customer ID.
Difference result:
1.     Run BSP standalone in CRM:
When I execute/run/test this bsp application standalone in se80 after logon to sapgui by using customer id, bsp data is displayed, which is working fine.
2.     When I access/run this bsp through portal after logon portal with customer id, bsp data is not displayed, which is not working correctly.
Things that I had tried:
1.     customer user profile:
     Tried assign different profiles of customer id, my problem is not solved. I even add SAP_ALL profile to customer ID.
[Result] no BSP data is displayed.
2.     customer user role:
     standard role, SAP_PCC_CHANNELMANAGER (assign standard role to customer ID):
a.     Go to trxn code: CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C -> layout of UI (PCUI) -> Look for standard role in assignment of crm object method to role -> get a standard role which is relate to problem and solution: SAP_PCC_CHANNELMANAGER.
b.     Go to trxn code: CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C -> layout of UI (PCUI) -> Navigation (URL generation) -> assign portal role to single role -> SAP_PCC_CHANNELMANAGER is assigned to portal role: com.sap.pct.crm.channelmanager.
c.     Go to trxn code: SU01 -> add role, SAP_PCC_CHANNELMANAGER into customer ID.
d.     run the portal and access BSP application
[Result] no BSP data is displayed.
     Create new role, ZSAP_PCC_CHANNELMANAGER:
a.     go to trxn code: PFCG -> copy standard role, SAP_PCC_CHANNELMANAGER to customize role -> access authorization tab -> look for authorization for BSP applications -> change Application Scenario and View for UI display to *.
b.     Go to trxn code: CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C -> layout of UI (PCUI) -> Application/Layout -> add new entry to View, view named as Z_ESERVICE.
c.     Go to trxn code: CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C -> layout of UI (PCUI) -> add new entries into assignment of crm object method to role (copy SAP_PCC_CHANNELMANAGER).

b.     go to trxn code: PFCG -> open existing customize role -> access Authorization tab -> click on "change authorization" button -> search existing Application scenario -> add '' inside (also try with certain standard scenario which is relate to product, FAQ, solution, problem) -> search existing view for UI display -> add "".
a.     run the portal and access BSP application
[Result] no BSP data is displayed.
Questions:
1.     Is my problem related to role setup of customer ID? If yes, can guide me how to create authorization, which is related to product, FAQ, problem, and solution, to customer ID?
2.     Is it possible that my problem cause by missing/wrong portal role setup or wrong mapping between CRM role to Portal Role? If yes, can guide me how to check authorization of customer ID in portal, which is related to product, FAQ, problem, and solution?
3.     Any other reason that cause this problem?

If you know the BSP application name, then you can check this on /SE80 and get the bsp component details.

Portal application not displaying correctly with frame size 125% in IE

Dear Expert,
We are facing issue in Portal (7.0) like, when I open the application "Products Coatings" in myWorkspace with Internet Explorer
display size 100% the frame "xyz" is displayed correctly:But When I open the application "Product Coatings" in myWorkspace with Internet Explorer display size 125% the same frame is NOT displayed correctly.
Someone can help me in closing this issue..

Pages are not displaying properly

Hi
I am using EP 7.0 SP 7.0. Some of the pages (like new ivew creartion page, Identity management page under User Administration etc.) are not displaying properly. The background is showing totally white and only the buttons and text are visible.
Though these pages were working fine before.
Is there any configuration change which is causing this?
Any suggestion ??????

Hi,
SAP recommends to use fully qualified domain names, when using the portal.
For example, to enter into the portal use "http://machine_name.company_name.com/irj/portal., instead of "http://machine_name/irj/portal".
Failing to do so may lead to inconsistency in communication on client side between the page and iViews.

Pls Help! My content does not display!!

The customised content i have cretaed does not display.
I created an URL iview. I created a page and added the iview to the pager. I then cretaed a role, within the role editor i created a folder(Test) and then added the page to the role. I assigned myself the role.
Opened up a new session, Test does not exists in the navigation bar.
How do i get it to display ?

You must make either the role, or the folder that you've created inside of it, an entry point.
When you are looking at your role in the editor (where you add pages, iviews etc to your role) you will see on the right hand side of the page some propeties. Select 'Show All' and then change 'Entry Point = No' to 'Entry Point = Yes'. Or you can select your folder, press the 'Properties' button, now the properties on the right hand side are for the folder inside the role, not the role. Here you can make the folder the entry point if you like.
Everything inside an entry point is visible, whether or not it's own 'Entry Point' property is selected as 'Yes'. This means that if you make the role and 'Entry Point' everything that you add to the role will be visible.

Workflow Not displaying in Data Manager once it is launched ...

I am experiencing a strange problem in Data Manager Workflow Tab. I am using MDM 5.5 SP6.
While importing records either Iby using import Manager OR Import server, workflow is triggered and we can see the workflow in the workflow tab with status 'Unlaunched' and once it is launched it is not displaying any other steps and it disappears after completes the workflow. But all the steps in the workflow completed successfully. Workflow tab is empty for Status = ALL.
This was working fine until few days back.
Anyone experience this issue?

I think it may be because you are using wrong user to check this.
Try to login into Data manager through Workflow Owner User ID.. it should display All workflow jobs there, even completed ones also. and Status = ALL should work there.
The workflow owner has special privileges and visibility. The owner of a workflow is the only user who can see in its task queue for every instance of every step that is available to or received by every other user. I think, other users will see tasks only if it is step is available for them or in received status.
Check and revert with the result.

Drag & Relate Icon not displayed

While I am doing drag and relate scenario, the Drag & Relate Icon displayed in the iView's Preview. But when i logged into my portal it is not displayed?
After assigning the Super admin role, then it is displayed.Please let me know whether the Super admin role is required or else any other role to be assigned instead of Super admin role??

Hi Senthil,
The user viewing the iview should ve the permission "full control " and "end user" for the system and iview. I guess for the super admin, the permissions are given correctly. Thats why you are able to get the Icon displayed.
Instead of assinging permissions to the role, set permissions for users.
