Member field

Hello SDNs,
We have a requirement that the member has to be displayed in the identification tab of organisation category while creating the business partner
The same field is displaying for member category and not displaying for organisation category. I have checked all configuration settings and i coul not able to find out the relevant setting.
Can you please provide the inputs how to add field in the identification tab of organisation category while creating the business partner.
Thanks.

Hi KV,
member to displayed is photo ID you mean to say or what is member ID from your end.

  • It is possible select a member "field" editable/moveable with mouse?

    I have diferent editable "field" on the stage.
    If the "field" are only "editable" I can select every field with the mouse and write inside of it, but if I make them "editable/moveable" I can't select with the mouse any field but I can pass from one to other only with the key "TAB".
    Do you know if there is a way to select every "Member field" that I want with mouse and without "Tab" when every field is set to editable/moveable?
    Thank.

    Still not sure about your intention, but maybe:
    SQL> create or replace type test_obj as object

  • List View (filter) based on multiple fields

    Hello. I've created an infopath form where a Project Manager is able to name 12 project members in various departments using a people picker field for each project member field. Is there a way to filter the list so that it shows only
    the projects the individual project members are involved in based on whether he/she shows up in any of the 12 member fields? The members are not necessarily the ones creating the list item. I am limited to 10 filters in the view settings
    in the sharepoint list so that won't work. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
    Have a great weekend.
    Cory

    Hi Cory,
    I’m sorry, from that way you can filter by current user, but also can’t add more than 10 parameters. The only way to add
    more than 10 filters is to use xpath by check add xslt filtering, then click edit.
    I have a try on my server, please check the following steps.
    Create a parameter by click parameters.
    On the data view parameters dialog, click new parameter, name Param1. From parameter source, select server variable, set LOGON_USER as server available name. Then click ok.
    Go to filter, on filter criteria dialog, check add xslt filtering, then click edit.
    Add the following xslt code.
    [@people.title=$Param1 or @people1.title=$Param1 or @people2.title=$Param1 or @people3.title=$Param1 or @people4.title=$Param1
    or @people5.title=$Param1 or @people6.title=$Param1 or @people7.title=$Param1 or @people8.title=$Param1 or @people9.title=$Param1 or @people10.title=$Param1 or @people11.title=$Param1]

  • Cross Tab with Calculated Member Fails in BO Enterprise

    Hello,
    I have a report (Crystal Reports 2008)  that I created using a cross tab, with a calculated member field. This report runs fine on my desktop, but fails when published to Crystal Enterprise (Server 2008).
    When scheduled, the instance history states Crystal Reports: Print Engine Error
    When I remove the calculated member from the cross tab, it runs fine.
    Has anyone come across this and if so, how did you resolve it? I believe this is a brand new feature in Crystal Reports 2008 - is it not supposed within Enterprise?
    Thank you for your assistance.

    Root Cause: I had built my report in Crystal Reports 2008 on the latest Service Pack/Fix Packs (which addressed the issue of calculated member). My Crystal Reports SERVER 2008 was on a lower version.
    I opened a message with SAP support and they were unable to tell me how to apply service packs to my Server. They then pretty much abandoned my question, so below is what I came up with on my own to fix the issue.
    There are no specific service packs/ hot fixes for Crystal Reports SERVER 2008, so I had to:
    1) install Crystal Reports V0 on my CRS 2008 machine
    2)Install all Service Pack/Fix Packs available for Crystal Reports 2008 (even SP1, even though all SAP documentation tells you not to do this, it is required before you can install SP2)
    3) Reboot Server
    If you do the same thing as me, just a warning that installing the Crystal Reports SPs will break InfoView/CMC until you apply them all and re-boot.

    Hi,
    We have a need for a kodo-enhanced object to have a member field that
    should NOT be persisted in the database.
    I searched the docs several times but could not find the metadata to
    specify this option. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    We have a need for a kodo-enhanced object to have a member field that

    or make the field transient and it won't be persistent by default.

  • Issues with syndication of multi-valued tuple fields

    I'm trying to create a syndication map (using a schema) for a main table in MDM which includes a multi-multivalued tuple.  The map generates an internal error on execution when I have the tuple fields mapped but executes correctly when I leave them unmapped.  Has anybody else experienced this issue?

    Hi Lori,
    The Tuple syndication in MDM 7.1 works slightly differently than a normal lookup or Qualified mapping.
    While syndicating tuple fields we cannot map the lookup Tuple field  which acts as the linking field in the main table.
    However you can map the tuple member fields and MDM syndicator allows you to map and syndicate them.
    I have tried mapping and viewing the same and it works fine with me.
    Hope It Helped

  • AD query -- trouble with group.member list

    Hello,
    I'm attempting to create an AD query that filters for certain groups and all the members of those groups. I start with the groups table and filter to get the groups of interest. No problems so far.
    When I expand the group column to pick up the "member" column, I get group.member and the cell values have changed from "Record" to "List."  When I expand "List" I can tell I'm at the right level of granularity,
    because the number of rows has increased, and the group names are repeated for the number of members in a group. The problem is that the group.member field now shows "Record" again. I can't expand on it. And when I click on any of the "Record"
    links, I can see the individual's name.
    Any ideas on how I'm to get the name to show up in the full result set rather than needing to click on the "Record" link? Searching for "Power Query" with "record" has been...unhelpful (expectedly so).
    Thanks

    Gil,
    Thanks for the reply. I notice that in my query, displayName is null for all the records returned. I have been able to get the group name information from the sAMAccountName field, although I wonder if that is what is causing the issue when I attempt to
    expand.
    Here are more details on my query stages:
    The first stage is with the following query (I left the "GL" filter visible since by itself it's not confidential):
    let
        Source = ActiveDirectory.Domains(<domain>),
        <domain> = Source{[Domain=<domain>]}[#"Object Categories"],
        group1 = <domain>{[Category="group"]}[Objects],
        #"Expand securityPrincipal" = Table.ExpandRecordColumn(group1, "securityPrincipal", {"sAMAccountName"}, {"securityPrincipal.sAMAccountName"}),
        #"Filtered Rows" = Table.SelectRows(#"Expand securityPrincipal", each Text.StartsWith([securityPrincipal.sAMAccountName], "GL"))
    in
        #"Filtered Rows"
    The second stage (1st screenshot) is immediately after I expand the group column and select "member." I show the bottom view, too, which shows the three records associated with this list (the correct number of users in that AD group).
    When I "expand" group.member, it changes from List to Record and there is now one row for each user in a group. However, when I go to pick the displayName column from group.member, it gives me the message "No columns were found." Yet,
    when I select the group.member value, I can see in the view below that there is a displayName. (See 2nd screenshot.) Note that I filtered the records in the third screenshot to just a single group -- 3 records.
    Does this additional information help isolate what I might be experiencing?
    Here is the query to match the final screenshot:
    let
        Source = ActiveDirectory.Domains(<domain>),
        <domain> = Source{[Domain=<domain>]}[#"Object Categories"],
        group1 = <domain>{[Category="group"]}[Objects],
        #"Expand securityPrincipal" = Table.ExpandRecordColumn(group1, "securityPrincipal", {"sAMAccountName"}, {"securityPrincipal.sAMAccountName"}),
        #"Filtered Rows" = Table.SelectRows(#"Expand securityPrincipal", each Text.StartsWith([securityPrincipal.sAMAccountName], "GL")),
        #"Expand group" = Table.ExpandRecordColumn(#"Filtered Rows", "group", {"member"}, {"group.member"}),
        #"Expand group.member" = Table.ExpandListColumn(#"Expand group", "group.member"),
        #"Expand top" = Table.ExpandRecordColumn(#"Expand group.member", "top", {"name"}, {"top.name"}),
        #"Removed Columns" = Table.RemoveColumns(#"Expand top",{"msExchIMRecipient", "ciscoEcsbuUMAttributes", "posixGroup", "top.name", "msExchBaseClass",
    "msExchCustomAttributes", "mailRecipient"})
    in

  • Unable to map to ignore member for Essbase

    I have an FDM application, created in 9.3.1, which has Essbase as the target. I am able to map to leaf members, but unable to map to 'Ignore'. I get the following:
    Error: Error updating record.
    Detail: An invalid value was entered for the dimension (Entity)
    The 'Ignore Map Item' in Application Settings is set to "Ignore."
    Does anyone have any idea why this does not work? I've used targets of HFM and Essbase in the past without issue.
    Thank you for your help,

    The best way to handle this is while in the Mapping Tables, Doubl-click the Target Account (or target dimension member) field, place your mouse over the little sideways triangle and click "Browse For Target Value". If you can locate the "Ignore" in the member list then select and click the Update Grid but if you do not see the value then the Essbase metadata will have to be updated to include it.

  • Basic text field info

    I'm trying to use a text field to get basic numerical user input (the user types the size of a sphere in mm, which is used in a behavior to set the radius of a 3d model resource).
    I can't figure out how to reference the text they input.  I made it editable, tried member("field").text, but I can't figure out how to do it.  Can someone point me in the right direction?  Thanks.

    So what #type of member does your sprite implement? Alter the sprite number to suit:
    put sprite(1).member.type:
    -- #flashComponent

    Thanks John,
    Can you provide some more information that would help resolve this issue.
    It could be that the mapping rules we use during the translation need tobe
    adjusted.
    Specifically, what were the following ND property values you had for the
    field in question:
    ND Datafield property "ColumnDataType"
    ND Datafield property "ColumnDataTypeText"
    ND Datafield property "NativeType"
    ND Datafield property "NativeTypeText"
    You see, during the translation we had to choose to map from the originalND
    type information to a corresponding java or java.sql type.
    We were not certain whether to favor ND's "ColumnDataType" or ND's
    "NativeType" value.
    We came up with rules based on mapping ND's ColumnDataType. Those rulesare
    detailed in the attachment.

    Hey Guys,
    I've run across a problem retrieving Doubles back from an Oracle
    Database. The field is defined as a Number. When we converted the
    program from NetD, it was created with return values of Double. What
    is returned is not the correct value. For example, in the table the
    value is 123456, when I do a getInternalID(), it is returning 2.0. I
    am working on a work around, but I thought that I would post this

  • Applets and memory not being released by Java Plug-in

    Hi.
    I am experiencing a strange memory-management behavior of the Java Plug-in with Java Applets. The Java Plug-in seems not to release memory allocated for non-static member variables of the applet-derived class upon destroy() of the applet itself.
    I have built a simple "TestMemory" applet, which allocates a 55-megabytes byte array upon init(). The byte array is a non-static member of the applet-derived class. With the standard Java Plug In configuration (64 MB of max JVM heap space), this applet executes correctly the first time, but it throws an OutOfMemoryException when pressing the "Reload / Refresh" browser button or if pressing the "Back" and then the "Forward" browser buttons. In my opionion, this is not an expected behavior. When the applet is destroyed, the non-static byte array member should be automatically invalidated and recollected. Isn't it?
    Here is the complete applet code:
    // ===================================================
    import java.awt.*;
    import javax.swing.*;
    public class TestMemory extends JApplet
      private JLabel label = null;
      private byte[] testArray = null;
      // Construct the applet
      public TestMemory()
      // Initialize the applet
      public void init()
        try
          // Initialize the applet's GUI
          guiInit();
          // Instantiate a 55 MB array
          // WARNING: with the standard Java Plug-in configuration (i.e., 64 MB of
          // max JVM heap space) the following line of code runs fine the FIRST time the
          // applet is executed. Then, if I press the "Back" button on the web browser,
          // then press "Forward", an OutOfMemoryException is thrown. The same result
          // is obtained by pressing the "Reload / Refresh" browser button.
          // NOTE: the OutOfMemoryException is not thrown if I add "testArray = null;"
          // to the destroy() applet method.
          testArray = new byte[55 * 1024 * 1024];
          // Do something on the array...
          for (int i = 0; i < testArray.length; i++)
            testArray[i] = 1;
          System.out.println("Test Array Initialized!");
        catch (Exception e)
          e.printStackTrace();
      // Component initialization
      private void guiInit() throws Exception
        setSize(new Dimension(400, 300));
        getContentPane().setLayout(new BorderLayout());
        label = new JLabel("Test Memory Applet");
        getContentPane().add(label, BorderLayout.CENTER);
      // Start the applet
      public void start()
        // Do nothing
      // Stop the applet
      public void stop()
        // Do nothing
      // Destroy the applet
      public void destroy()
        // If the line below is uncommented, the OutOfMemoryException is NOT thrown
        // testArray = null;
      //Get Applet information
      public String getAppletInfo()
        return "Test Memory Applet";
    // ===================================================Everything works fine if I set the byte array to "null" upon destroy(), but does this mean that I have to manually set to null all applet's member variables upon destroy()? I believe this should not be a requirement for non-static members...
    I am able to reproduce this problem on the following PC configurations:
    * Windows XP, both JRE v1.6.0 and JRE v1.5.0_11, both with MSIE and with Firefox
    * Linux (Sun Java Desktop), JRE v1.6.0, Mozilla browser
    * Mac OS X v10.4, JRE v1.5.0_06, Safari browser
    Your comments would be really appreciated.
    Thank you in advance for your feedback.
    Regards,
    Marco.

    Hi Marco,
    my guess as to why JPI would keep references around, if it does keep them, is that it propably is an implementation side effect. A lot of things are cached in the name of performance and it is easy to leave things laying around in your cache. Maybe the page with the associated images/applets is kept in the browser cache untill the browser needs some memory and if the browser memory manager is not co-operating with the JPI/JVM memory manager the browser is not out of memory, thus not releasing its caches but the JVM may be out of memory. Thus the browser indirectly keeps the reference that it realy does not need. This reference could be inderect through some 'applet context' or what ever the browser uses to interact with JPI, don't realy know any of these details, just imaging what must/could be going on there. Browser are amazingly complicated beast.
    This behaviour that you are observing, weather the origin is something like I speculated or not, is not nice but I would not expect it to be fixed even if you filed a bug report. I guess we are left with relleasing all significatn memory structures in destroy. A simple way to code this is not to store anything in the member fields of the applet but in a separate class; then one has to do is to null that one reference from the applet to that class in the destroy method and everything will be relased when necessary. This way it is not easy to forget to release things.
    Hey, here is a simple, imaginary, way in which the browser could cause this problem:
    The browser, of course needs a reference to the applet, call it m_Applet here. Presume the following helper function:
    Applet instantiateAndInit(Class appletClass) {
    Applet applet=appletClass.newInstance();
    applet.init();
    return applet;
    When the browser sees the applet tag it instantiates and inits the new applet as follows:
    m_Applet=instantiateAndInit(appletClass);
    As you can readily see, the second time the instantiation occurs, the m_Applet holds the reference to the old applet until after the new instance is created and initlized. This would not cause a memory leak but would require that twice the memory needed by the applet would be required to prevent OutOfMemory.I guess it is not fair to call this sort of thing a bug but it is questionable design.In real life this is propably not this blatant, but could happen You could try, if you like, by allocating less than 32 Megs in your init. If you then do not run out of memory it is an indication that there are at most two instances of your applet around and thus it could well be someting like I've speculated here.

  • View Objects with Union Queries--trouble with primary keys

    Hi,
    I'm working with JDev 11.1.1.3 and am trying to do a couple of things (without success--yet). I am trying to create a master-detail relationship that displays the existing data in a set of 3 tables and later I will be creating forms for inserting and updating.
    The table structure is like this:
    Table: Member
    Field: MemberIdx (PK)
    Field: Data
    Table: CfgPartner
    Field: MemberIdx (PK)
    Field: DocType (PK)
    Field: DocRevision (PK)
    Field: OtherData
    Table: CfgB2BPartner
    Field: MemberIdx (PK)
    Field: DocType (PK)
    Field: DocRevision (PK)
    Field: B2BData
    I have a View Object for the master table (Member). And I have created a 2nd View Object that is a union of the other two tables. There is some data in CfgPartner that doesn't have a matching record in CfgB2BPartner and vice versa. My thinking is that the two tables are related and I would like them to display within the same table on the ADF page.
    My 2nd View Object has this query:
    SELECT CfgPartner.MEMBERIDX,
    CfgPartner.DOCTYPE,
    CfgPartner.DOCREVISION,
    CfgPartner.OTHERDATA,
    CfgB2bpartner.B2BDATA
    FROM CFG_PARTNER CfgPartner, CFG_B2BPARTNER CfgB2bpartner
    WHERE CfgPartner.MEMBERIDX=CfgB2bpartner.MEMBERIDX(+)
    and CfgPartner.DOCTYPE=CfgB2bpartner.DOCTYPE(+)
    and CfgPartner.DOCREVISION=CfgB2bpartner.DOCREVISION(+)
    UNION
    SELECT CfgB2bpartner.MEMBERIDX AS MEMBERIDX1,
    CfgB2bpartner.DOCTYPE AS DOCTYPE1,
    CfgB2bpartner.DOCREVISION AS DOCREVISION1,
    CfgPartner.OTHERDATA,
    CfgB2bpartner.B2BDATA
    FROM CFG_PARTNER CfgPartner, CFG_B2BPARTNER CfgB2bpartner
    WHERE CfgB2bpartner.MEMBERIDX=CfgPartner.MEMBERIDX(+)
    and CfgB2bpartner.DOCTYPE=CfgPartner.DOCTYPE(+)
    and CfgB2bpartner.DOCREVISION=CfgPartner.DOCREVISION(+)
    ORDER BY MEMBERIDX,DOCTYPE,DOCREVISION
    The query is valid and runs fine in the database. However, the error I'm getting in the app module makes it sound like I don't have my primary keys set up correctly. Here is the error: (oracle.jbo.PersistenceException) JBO-26028: View object testCfgPtnrCfgB2BPtnr does not include a primary key attribute Memberidx of entity base CfgB2bpartner.
    In the View Object it shows the attributes Memberidx, Doctype, Docrevision, Memberidx1, Doctype1, and Docrevision1 all as key attributes. The only strange thing I see is the Entity Usage for Memberidx1, Doctype1, and Docrevision1 are all empty and the info column says "Transient".
    Any help would be appreciated.
    -Steve

    Hi,
    I think that to achieve this you need to suround it with another "select from" statement and create alias for the columns
    I created a test with the departments table (assuming that they are two different tables with different attributes) just to see that it works.
    SELECT DEPID1,DEPID2,DEPNAME1,DEPNAME2
    FROM(
    SELECT Departments1.DEPARTMENT_ID AS DEPID1,
               NULL as DEPID2,
           Departments1.DEPARTMENT_NAME AS DEPNAME1,
              NULL as DEPNAME2
    FROM DEPARTMENTS Departments1
    UNION
    SELECT Departments2.DEPARTMENT_ID AS DEPID2,
              NULL as DEPID1,
           Departments2.DEPARTMENT_NAME AS DEPNAME2,
             NULL as DEPNAME1
    FROM DEPARTMENTS Departments2)The resulting VO will have 4 attributes and you can set the primary key to be (DEPID1,DEPID2)
    If your 2 tables have common columns then these columns can have the same alias
    If you have any problems let me know :)

  • How to find out the customer exit name

    Hi Friends:
    I've an include ZCAXXI_USEREXIT_F05. How can I find that in which exit this include is present. Is there any table? Also where from I can find the name of the project once I find the exit name.
    Suitable points will be rewarded.
    Regards:
    Gaurav

    Hi,
    Go to se38 and give your include name. Click on where used list (CTrlshiftf3). Then you will get the main program. From the main program you will get the function module exit.
    If you know the exit name then follow the below steps to get the project:
    Go to se11>enetr 'Modsap' table name>give your function module eg EXIT_SAPLCOZF_001 in the member field then you will get the Enhancement i.e COZF0001 For that.
    Then Go to se11-->modact -->here in memeber field enter COZF0001 then you will get the project name(if a project is there for that enhancement)
    Reward points if useful.
    Regards,
    Soumya.

  • Validation errors in FDM

    Hi
    In FDQM, i have give the source and targets for mapping of a custom dimension.
    One of the source is getting calculated using FDM scripts as based on the data, it generates the metadata member at source.
    I can see a proper import happening and the script generating the required result.
    But while validating it shows an error. Even though the member is present in MAPS, it shows it as unmapped.
    If i use the "FIX" option in validation, i still end up getting the same error message (in addition the dimension member field now shows some additional characters!)
    Any one has faced this issue with FDM before?
    RegardS

    Re write the script and the issue got solved...... seems some charaters had entered in the FDM script

  • Data load errors in Essbase

    I am attempting to load our data pulled from our HFM application into Essbase. I keep getting "data value encountered before all dimensions selected" error. I have checked the load file line by line and the rule everything lines up correctly from the file to the rule. We have recently migrated our Planning application to 3.3.1 of Planning and Essbase 6.5.4. We have loaded data before in this new system but for some reason I can't get this to load. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. thanks,Eleasha

    Is every dimension in the OUTLINE represented in the data file? If not, do the unrepresented dimensions have a member specified in the headers?If every dimension is represented, do the data fields come AFTER the member fields?
