MENGE...ALV...STRUCTURE..BLANK

Hi folks,
     I  am using Reuse_ALV_list_display along with structure. In the structure for Menge field display i want BLANK space when quantity is ZERO.  Im getting 0.000 or 0 for ZERO, i want blank space to be displayed instead of zeros...I dont know what data element i can give so that in my structure i maintain MENGE field instead of quan datatype.
Thanks.

Hi!
Did you use fieldcat ?
If you use fieldcat. Do as following:
CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE'
    EXPORTING
      I_STRUCTURE_NAME = 'SPFLI'
    CHANGING
      CT_FIELDCAT      = GT_FIELDCAT.
  LOOP AT GT_FIELDCAT INTO GS_FIELDCAT .
    CASE GS_FIELDCAT-FIELDNAME .
      WHEN 'CARRID'.
          (Some properties was set here)
          GS_FIELDCAT-NO_ZERO   = 'X'. " Example
    END CASE.
END LOOP.
Then Zero field will display as blank.
Thanks & Regard!

  • Set Filter in ALV report, blank screen returned

    I have a standard ALV report (uses REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY).  The user has to be able to filter the results based on entries from certain columns.
    When I try to filter any columns other than a column with a date a blank screen is returned.
    This filtering problem only exists with the Single value field. I can filter the results in the "select ranges", "exclude values" and "exclude ranges" without any problems.
    Any suggestions?

  • Preview and Download in ALV report blank

    Dear All,
    I have a problem. When user preview and download to local save (txt, xls, etc) from report in ALV format, user get blank preview and blank file.
    I use 2 FM.
    1st i use FM REUSE_ALV_LIST_LAYOUT_INFO_GET to get fieldcat because user want to download after customize the layout (example default there are 5 field then user hide 2 field so only 3 field are displayed and downloaded).
    2nd I use FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY to display as ALV format. and user can download via download button default in ALV format.
    so, anyone.. could u help me ??

  • ALV returning blank output

    Hi all,
    I'm converting a report into ALV format. My problem over is that my ALV output is blank.
    FYI, I've checked on the internal table that I passed into the function 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY', there are 50 rows of data inside the internal table. Using the same internal table, I can even write out the report.
    Even when I try to pass it in for ALV output, everything is display nicely (title, column header, column size) except the content are 50 blank rows.
    Anyone can help? Thanks in advance!

    Hi all,
    I've changed the order of field catalog to be the same as list display order as well as all the field name to upper-case.
    The output I get even worse. It only show me title and a blank grey page.

  • ALV wrong (blank) Cell Color in Checkbox-Column

    I have several columns with checkboxes in an ALV. (Editor = Checkbox)
    The color is set with set_cell_design_fieldname( ).
    Some of the cells are set to invisible with set_visible_fieldname(  )
    For these cells the value for the cell design is cl_wd_abstr_master_table_col=>e_cell_design-standard.
    Some of these (invisible) cells are displayed with white color.
    Most of the cells are correctly displayed in light blue.
    Service-Pack level is 15. (SAP_BASIS)
    Thanks in advance
    Bernhard

    Valid values for Color are from 1 to 7. So in your Loop at IT_EKPO as you are assigning LD_Color with Sy-tabix value, the first 7 are getting different colors and the remaining 8,9,10 are getting default color as color value 8,9,10 are invalid. Check the below logic which would generate 1 to 7 for the sy-tabix value 1 to 10.
    LOOP AT IT_EKPO into wa_ekpo.
    LD_color = ( SY-TABIX - 1 ) mod 7 + 1.  " Returns 1 to 7 for different Sy-tabix values
    WA_CELLCOLOR-FNAME = 'EBELN'.
    WA_CELLCOLOR-COLOR-COL = LD_color.
    WA_CELLCOLOR-COLOR-INT = '1'.
    ..... " Existing logic
    ENDLOOP.

  • ALV - show blank cell if numeric value is zero

    Hi
    I have an ALV with serveral numeric and decimal fields.
    Is it possible without a lot of effort (like assigning a separate cell with the visibilty attribute for each cell) to hide the cell content if the value is zero instead of showing 0 or 0,00 and so on .
    Thanks
    Thomas

    I have a feeling that a cell variant or dynamic manipulation of visibility is going to be the correct answer.  The data type rules will always fire for the conversion exit on output.  You could maybe create a custom domain with its onw conversion exit but I would think that would actually lead to more work than just using hte cell variant/visibility property.

  • Explicit Search Helps Short-Dump in Editable ALV with included structure

    I have an editable ALV grid defined as follows:
      TYPES: BEGIN OF gs_outtab200.
        TYPES: row_indx(4)      TYPE n.
        TYPES: multipurp        TYPE c.
        INCLUDE structure zxrfwc_test.
      TYPES: end of gs_outtab200.
      DATA:
        gt_outtab200             TYPE TABLE OF gs_outtab200,
        wa_outtab200             TYPE gs_outtab200.
    The included structure zxrfwc_test has a component (field) which is defined with a data element that has an explicit search helps associated with it.
    I know that this search help is working properly because it works fine in the program's selection screen.
    But when I invoke the search help from within a column of the ALV itself, I get a short dump with a "GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED" error.
    I have done plenty of editable ALVs with search helps defined on the data elements and never encountered this problem.
    Am I hitting this problem because the zxrfwc_test structure is defined within the
    gs_outtab200 structure ??
    If not, what is causing this problem.  (Please note that I have set  ls_fcat-F4AVAILABL = 'X' in the fieldcat routine - this doesn't seem to help at all.)
    Please advise!!!!
    I'm really stuck on this one because it's always worked before when I'm not dealing with a dictionary structure that's included within a larger ALV structure.
    Thanks.

    Hi romanch,
    defining the field catalog you must reference all currency fields to the respective currency key field (type CUKY).
    <alv_fieldcat>-cfieldname         = 'HWAER'.
    This is sample for alv output of a currency field. The alv structure has a field HWAER which carries the currency key, e.g. USD or so.
    Obviously you do not provide a cutrrency key for your values. If they are initial (zero), ALV will not display them as 0,00 but leave the field empty if the reference too currency key is not established.
    If you define a DDIC structure for the ALV output this refernce is enforced. You can pass the DDIC structure name to the ALV and don not have to create the field catalog manually.
    Regards,
    Clemens

  • Field in alv

    Folks
    I have a requirement where i need to add a new field to FB03 transaction at item level. I found no user exit to add a new column. But when i look into the program it is nothing but an ALV report that displays the columns. Now i want to add a new field to the alv structure. How can i proceed to do this? Do i have to go for a mod to enhance the screen?
    The program name is sapmf05l- Include MF05LTOP_ALV
    Thanks in advace.

    Hi
    - Update the structure RFPOSX  and RFPOS using append structure where you insert your new fields by trx SE11.
    - Run the report RFPOSXEXTEND: this report'll update the structure RFPOSXEXT in order to the definition of RFPOSX, so it'll insert your new fields.
    - Trx SE37: create a copy of fm SAMPLE_INTERFACE_00001650, here insert the abap codes you need to fill your new fields.
    - Trx BF24: Create your product and set it as active.
    - Trx BF34: Assign the event 00001650 to your product and insert the name of your function module.
    U can use trx FIBF instead of BF24 and BF34.
    I don't remember, but I believe you have to run the report RFPOSXEXTEND in all enviroments.
    That's all.

  • ALV: How do I suppress repeating values and page breaks on printed output?

    Good day, everyone!
    First, I've done a LOT of searching trying to find the answer to my question, but I'm not finding an answer.  If this has already been answered and you can point me to a URL, I would appreciate it.
    Here's my issue:  I have a rather simple ALV report.  It has the columns of Person ID, Personnel Number, For Period, In Period, and Amount.  I sort by Person ID and Personnel Number, and if the value repeats on the next line of the report, I want to suppress it (make it blank).
    I thought the answer was in the following code, where I set the GROUP attribute to asterisk:
      CLEAR sortcat_ln.
      sortcat_ln-spos      = '1'.
      sortcat_ln-fieldname = 'PERSONID_EXT'.
      sortcat_ln-up        = c_true.
      sortcat_ln-group     = '*'.
      APPEND sortcat_ln TO sortcat.
      CLEAR sortcat_ln.
      sortcat_ln-spos      = '2'.
      sortcat_ln-fieldname = 'PERNR'.
      sortcat_ln-up        = c_true.
      sortcat_ln-group     = '*'.
      APPEND sortcat_ln TO sortcat.
    It looks PERFECT on the screen -- the values are suppressed if they repeat, and everything appears together on one screen.  However, when I print the report, two things happen:  1) The values repeat on each row, even if they are the same, and 2) I get a page break after each Person ID / Personnel Number combination.
    I now realize that I can't use the GROUP attribute.  Is there some other way in ALV to blank these repeating values and keep all the rows together on one page, rather than page breaking after each value change?
    Thanks!
    Dave

    Hi
    Same requirement i had before, when i try to print preview. the output of the grid display is in grouping is ok, but when i print preview or print it doesnt cater the grouping and page breaks, so what i did i modify the internal table use in alv , after hitting the print preview/print with the format desired by the user. you can do that in user-command. see code below
    FORM user_command USING r_ucomm TYPE syucomm
                            rs_selfield TYPE slis_selfield.
      DATA lt_sort TYPE lvc_t_sort.
      CASE r_ucomm.
        WHEN '&RNT_PREV' OR '&RNT'.
          t_final_x[] = t_final[].
          PERFORM clear_redundant.
          PERFORM set_sort_criteria USING lt_sort.
        WHEN '&F03' OR '&PRINT_BACK_PREVIEW'.
          t_final[] = t_final_x[].
        WHEN OTHERS.
      ENDCASE.
    ENDFORM.                    "user_command

  • Infospoke BADI -- no change in structure?

    Hello Experts,
    We have three fields in: rsbo > edit infospoke INF1> transform
    1) Source structure
    2) Target structure
    3) Addin Implementation.
    -- I want to create a BADI and do not want to change the structure. But set some values in another table when INF1 is run.
    -- Wondering if it is still possible to use BADI in this situation.
    -- So can i leave the target structure blank or repeat it with the source structure itself.
    Thanks,
    Sweatha

    You need to fill it with the source structure in the definition and move the fields in your implementation (probably by move-corresponding). Otherwise you're free to fill as many other database tables as you like.
    Best regards

  • DrillDown in ALV for fixed values of domains

    Hi,
    i want to create an ALV Grid with an structure that has data elements with domains containing fixed values.
    As far as i know, in Table Controls and other dynpro fields refering to such domains, the drilldown function is automatically available.
    In an ALV-Grid the values are available with the F4-Button.
    Ok, you can select a value, but the value is shown in the grid is the fixed value not the short text of the value like it is in Table Controls. What I did is to implement an conversion exit to show the short text in the grid, but I am not really satisfied.
    What I ask you: Is there a possability to show a field of the ALV-Structure with drilldown functionality automatically, when the domain has fixed values?
    Thanks in Advance
    Michael

    Hi Michael,
    I think I have found the solution to your problem. When you call the method SET_DROP_DOWN_TABLE of the ALV Grid, you can see that there are two tables parameters (both of which are optional).
    You can use the second tables parameter to give the short text of your field-value.
    Consider the following code snippet.
    ==========================
    data : lt_dropdown_with_alias type LVC_T_DRAL,
           ls_dropdown_with_alias type LVC_S_DRAL.
    ls_dropdown_with_alias-handle = '1'.
    ls_dropdown_with_alias-int_value = 'T'.
    ls_dropdown_with_alias-value = 'True'.
    append ls_dropdown_with_alias to lt_dropdown_with_alias.
    ls_dropdown_with_alias-handle = '1'.
    ls_dropdown_with_alias-int_value = 'F'.
    ls_dropdown_with_alias-value = 'False'.
    append ls_dropdown_with_alias to lt_dropdown_with_alias.
    call method ALV_GRID->set_drop_down_table
                exporting IT_DROP_DOWN_ALIAS = lt_dropdown_with_alias.
    ==========================
    Obviously, <b>int_value</b> is the internal value and <b>value</b> is the text that you want to be displayed.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Anand Mandalika.
    P.S. I'm almost certain that this code will work. If it does, please do reward the points.

  • ALV: how to disable editable cell and F4 in certain rows only.

    I am building a table maintenance front-end with an ALV grid using OOP concept.  Certain fields are editable and also have customised search helps assigned to them in the ALV structure defined for the grid. What I want is where I have identified an entry in my database table as being locked by another user, I want to grey the line out on the ALV grid so that the entry cannot be edited and not have f4 input whilst this entry is locked by another user.
    I can grey the line out or disable F4 but not both at the same time.  If I disable the cells of the row concerned using MC_STYLE_DISABLED, the F4 is still active and will change the contents of the cell concerned via the data_changed event method in CL_GUI_ALV_GRID.
    I have used MC_STYLE_DISABLED where I have declared  a layout in my table similiar to this:
    DATA: BEGIN OF OUTPUT OCCURS 0,
    FIELD1,
    FIELD2,
    STYLE TYPE LVC_T_STYL,
    LOCK TYPE C.
    END OF OUTPUT.
    DATA: ls_celltab TYPE lvc_s_styl.
    * Where lock identified, field LOCK set to 'X'.
    LOOP AT OUTPUT where lock = 'X'.
    ls_celltab-fieldname = 'FIELD1'.
    ls_celltab-style = cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_style_disabled.
    APPEND ls_celltab TO OUTPUT-STYLE.
    ls_celltab-fieldname = 'FIELD2'.
    ls_celltab-style = cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_style_disabled.
    APPEND ls_celltab TO OUTPUT-STYLE.
    ENDIF.
    append OUTPUT.
    I have tried adding MC_STYLE_F4_NO to field LS_CELLTAB-STYLE2 but this does not do both actions atthe same time.
    Can anyone suggest what I might be doing wrong or an alternative way around this?
    Many thanks
    Regards
    Larissa

    As I have explained, I have fields that are editable AND are F4 enabled.  What I want is for certain rows of the ALV that I do not want any procesing to occur to make all fields in that row not available for input AND not f4 enabled.  I read a lock using a lock object.  If the entry in my ALV matches the key locked in the lock object, I want that line to be in display mode only in the ALV with no F4 help being able to be called.  It happens on the grid frontend when I press enter and have checked if any of my entries in my ALV are already locked by another user. The code is too long to post here. I can disbale the editable fields using MC_STYLE_DISABLED as described above but then the little drop down to enable F4 input is still visible against the field.
    I have got round it by calling the f4 in event HANDLE_ON_F4 to not go via the search help and set er_event_data->m_event_handled = c_yes so that the F4 hit list does not appear, but I want to get rid of the drop down marker in that field in that instance.
    Hope this is a little clearer now.

  • ALV - How to set selected rows into internal table

    Hi all,
    I am tying to set with an 'X' flag the selected rows in my ALV using an internal table that contains all rows showed.
    More exactly I have tried to follow these steps.
    1) I have added the filed SEL (type SEL) to my ALV structure zrt_bo_slabsend and I defined my internal table in this way
         DATA: gt_report TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF zrt_bo_slabsend,
                    gw_report TYPE zrt_bo_slabsend.
    2) I have set gw_layo-box_fname = 'SEL' to gw_layo (ALV layout)
    Pressing the "delete button" that I have insert on the top of the ALV, I intercept correctly my user command and I call a form (named "delete_lines") where I have this abap code
    FORM delete_lines.
        DATA: l_subrc          LIKE sy-subrc,
            lw_grid_settings LIKE lvc_s_glay.
    gw_layo-box_fname         = 'SEL'.
                                     "set field name to store row selection
      gw_layo-edit              = 'X'. "makes whole ALV table editable
      gw_layo-zebra             = 'X'.
    gv_repid = sy-repid.
      call function 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY_LVC'
      exporting
          i_callback_program       = gv_repid

    I'd like to select many rows in my ALV report, than by pressing the delete button I'd like to see a refresh of my ALV, without the selected rows. I want to save it only at the end of my action, only by pressing the save button.
    Any suggestion about the abap code will be well appreciated.
    Thanks in advance for your kind help.

  • Dynamic ALV Grid is not displaying !!

    Hi all,
      I am trying to create dynamic alv grids and upto five levels(five grids) out put is displaying fine without any problem. But when I try to display the 6th grid, the program is going into infinite loop and getting timed out. Even I tried to increse the height of the grid even though it is not displaying.
    Please correct me if any thing is wrong in below code.
    *1st Level grid
    IF <table1> IS ASSIGNED AND <table1> IS NOT INITIAL.
       CREATE OBJECT ob_split1
           EXPORTING
             parent      = ob_custom
             orientation = cl_gui_easy_splitter_container=>orientation_vertical.
        PERFORM set_split_height USING ob_split1  '20'.
        CREATE OBJECT ob_grid1
          EXPORTING
            i_parent = ob_split1->top_left_container.
    ELSE.
        CREATE OBJECT ob_split1
           EXPORTING
             parent      = ob_custom
             orientation = cl_gui_easy_splitter_container=>orientation_vertical.
        PERFORM set_split_height USING ob_split1  '0'.
    ENDIF.
    *2nd Level grid
    IF <table2> IS ASSIGNED AND <table2> IS NOT INITIAL.
       CREATE OBJECT ob_split2
           EXPORTING
             parent      = ob_split1->bottom_right_container
             orientation = cl_gui_easy_splitter_container=>orientation_vertical.
          PERFORM set_split_height USING ob_split2   '20'.
        CREATE OBJECT ob_grid2
          EXPORTING
            i_parent = ob_split2->top_left_container.
      ELSE.
         CREATE OBJECT ob_split2
            EXPORTING
              parent      = ob_split1->bottom_right_container
              orientation = cl_gui_easy_splitter_container=>orientation_vertical.
         PERFORM set_split_height USING ob_split2    '0'.
      ENDIF.
    (Created 3rd,4th,5th same like above).
    *6th Level grid
    IF <table6> IS ASSIGNED AND <table6> IS NOT INITIAL.
    CREATE OBJECT ob_split6
           EXPORTING
             parent      = ob_split5->bottom_right_container
             orientation = cl_gui_easy_splitter_container=>orientation_vertical.
         PERFORM set_split_height USING ob_split6  '20'.
         CREATE OBJECT ob_grid6
           EXPORTING
             i_parent = ob_split6->top_left_container.
      ELSE.
         CREATE OBJECT ob_split6
           EXPORTING
             parent      = ob_split5->bottom_right_container
             orientation = cl_gui_easy_splitter_container=>orientation_vertical.
         PERFORM set_split_height USING ob_split6  '0'.
      ENDIF.
    Appreciated your reply. Please let me know for additional info.
    Thanks,

    Hi romanch,
    defining the field catalog you must reference all currency fields to the respective currency key field (type CUKY).

  • Doubt in hiding columns in ALV list

    Hi Experts ,
                          I am working on block ALV list . I need to hide certain columns  in the list based on condition . For example : ALV structure has fields such MATNR    MEINS    MBRSH   MTART
    For a particular material if  ITAB-MEINS EQ C_SPACE . Then the column - MEINS should be hidden for particular material record.
    Could anyone suggest me code for this logic .
    Thanks ,
    Kumaran.C

    Hi Rajnesh ,
                           Thanks for that reply , But one doubt .
    Should we have to loop the ITAB before creating the feildcatalog ?
    say for ex :
    loop at itab.
    if itab-meins eq c_space.
      fieldcatalog-fieldname = 'MEINS'.
      fieldcatalog-selfield_m = 'UOM'.
      fieldcatalog-col_pos    = 3.
      fieldcatalog-no_out     = 'MEINS'.
    append fieldcatalog from fieldcatalog.
    end if.
    endloop.
    is this the way to code the above logic , pls explain .
    Thanks,
    Kumaran.C
