i want to display message one after the other
i have a code on a when-button-pressed
SET_APPLICATION_PROPERTY(CURSOR_STYLE, 'BUSY');
  MESSAGE('Inserting, please wait... ');
some inserts....
then i want display..
  MESSAGE('Updating, please wait... ');
  some updates...
then want to display...
  MESSAGE('Transferring, please wait... ');
  some code...
and finally i want to display...with an OK button...
  MESSAGE('File Generated');
SET_APPLICATION_PROPERTY(CURSOR_STYLE,'default');but whats happening is, the messages (Inserting..Updating..Transferring) gets displayed with an OK button on it..
despite i didn;t gave ACKNOWLEDGE with the message statement..and i have to press OK button everytime..
and the last message (File Generated) gets displayed on the status bar directly without prompting to press OK button.
how i desire is,the messages to be displayed one after the other routines (Inserting..Updating..Transferring)
without the OK button and the last message ('File Generated') should be displayed with the OK button..
please anyone what exactly has to be done..
ty.

Are you using two consecutive MESSAGE statements for displaying messages? If so, it would show them as alerts.
If these are single MESSAGE statements, then put CLEAR_MESSAGE before the MESSAGE statement and try. You may look the help for CLEAR_MESSAGE and SYNCHRONIZE built-ins.
SET_APPLICATION_PROPERTY(CURSOR_STYLE, 'BUSY');
  CLEAR_MESSAGE;
  MESSAGE('Inserting, please wait... ');
some inserts....
then i want display..
  CLEAR_MESSAGE;
  MESSAGE('Updating, please wait... ');
  some updates...
then want to display...
  CLEAR_MESSAGE;
  MESSAGE('Transferring, please wait... ');
  some code...
and finally i want to display...with an OK button...
  MESSAGE('File Generated');
  MESSAGE('File Generated');

  • Messages synchronization problem

    Hi,
    I would like to export messages from Nokia 6500 Slide but I’m not able to synchronize all messages with Nokia Ovi Suit. I’ve tested it on Windows XP/7 and by using Nokia PC Suite (again on Windows XP/7), but still some of my messages are missing. I’ve updated also phone’s firmware to latest version but nothing changed. After the update I lost messages but I was able to restore all of them from backup (which was made before update). So I used NbuReader and ABC Amber NBU Converter to retrieve the messages from nbu file, because messages have to be there otherwise I wouldn’t be able to restore all of them. Unfortunately again without success – both programs showed same messages count as Ovi Suit. So I decided to compare synchronized messages on PC with phone and found that some messages were not correctly parsed – part of the message was missing or two (or more) were joined together. So my guess is that messages are stored on phone in some incompatible format. I don’t understand how they could be correctly restored from backup but on the other hand synchronization in PC cannot parse them?
    Moreover I’ve also tried to send messages via Phone Switch option and retrieve them from the second phone (N95 8GB), but after 31 messages it has failed with notification: “Invalid format of message”.  Since then phones are not even possible to connect – always shows Bluetooth disconnected when I’m trying to retrieve messages again.
    Mine another attempt was to use Wammu for synchronization, but I wasn’t able to connect the phone to it.
    And now I have run out of options. I would be very grateful if anyone could help me resolve this issue…
    Miro

    Hi,
    Can you see those messages you have identified with Ovi Suite Device View (lower left corner in the Ovi Suite)?
    If yes, can you drag and drop them to Ovi Suite view ("All" on the left upper corner of Ovi Suite)?
    If drag and drop doesn't work what is the error message you receive?
    In case you are not able to see them in Ovi Suite they may have been corrupted. In that case I suggest you to join another threads (where the participants are focusing to device side issues) in Nokia Support Discussions. You can find them through Discussions Main Page.

  • XI message synchronization problems

    We are having a problem with XI that is related to timing of transmissions from a Legacy Mainframe system to our R/3 system. This is the scenario:
    Update 1 is transmitted from the mainframe at 1:00pm and contains an update for item “Y”. The update fails on the R/3 system due to a lock error so the XI system waits before trying to do the update again. Update 2 is transmitted at 1:05pm and contains an update which is also for item “Y” and the update is successful on the R/3 system. At 1:07pm Update #1 (that originally failed due to a lock on item “Y”) retries and it is successful. The result is that we have updates to item “Y” in R/3 that are out of sequence and in some instances puts item “Y” in an invalid state.
         I know we could resolve the problem by creating a serial queue but this is not an option because we have many updates for many items being transmitted via these queues. I need to know if there is a way for XI to know that item “Y” contains an update that was locked out (and is in a retry state) and to hold any additional updates for item “Y” until the first update is successful.

    Hi Ed,
    you could create a business process, which is receiving from Legacy Mainframe as long as no positive Acknowledgement came from last send message. That means you design a process where you receive (while 1 = 1) and send messages. If you receive a positive acknowledgement AND no other message is to be send, than stop the process.
    Of course a BP does not upgrade performance at all
    BTW: You should consider using EOIO...

  • All sub-folders in Mac Mail cannot synchronize with Exchange Server 2010

    Hi all,
    All sub-folders under Inbox in Mac Mail cannot be synchronized with Exchange Server 2010. There are 2GB messages size in Inbox folder and 500MB messages size under Inbox's sub-folders. All messages can be sent out and received and it can work in Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 normally. However, all messages in sub-folders cannot be synchronized (empty sub-folders).
    Does this problem relate to message synchronization order of Mac Mail with Exchange Server? Do all sub-folders messages be synchronized after synchronization complete of Inbox? The synchronization of sub-folders will not happen if the synchronization of Inbox does not complete, doesn't it?
    All messages synchronization is over internet. Can anybody help?
    Thanks a lot

    Hi,
    1.please check the mailbox send and receive quota for exchange 2013 migrated mailbox.
    2.Please check the email attributes of the exchange 2013 migrated mailbox because it seems to be a problem with that particular mailbox.
    3.Then do the message tracking and that would be the only way to find the where the send messages has gone.
    4.Please check and confirm you have an enough space on the disk where exchange queue database is residing.
    I think I need to create a receive connector in the 2013 to receive from 2010 ?
    No need ,by design  exchange 2013 cas server default frontend receive connector will be having an
    entire ipv4 and ipv6 segment and anonymous connection is checked by default.
    I think I also need to create a send and receive connector for 2013 users to each other?
    No need , an intra organisation send connector and the default receive connectors in exchange will be used
    for internal mail flow between the exchange 2013 users.
    Please reply me if you have any queries .

    The MI Server is a java only instance running on NW04 SPS13.
    MI 2.5 SPS13
    MI Client 2.5 SPS13
    Any ideas what the problem could be?

    Hi Bill,
      You must have an MI Server with an ABAP+Java Stack installation to use SAP Mobile Infrastructure. There is no way around it. The Java stack really just handles communication and some administration, but 99 percent of the functionality of MI exists on the ABAP Stack. Thats where all the logic is written, where the SyncBo's are created, where you monitor the data handling, its where your replica DB is..and the communication between the backend and the MI Server occurs through the ABAP Stack (rfc connection).
    Hope this helps,

  • Nokia Photos Synchronization Cancelled with n97

    Hi I tried the Synchronize function in Nokia Photos it starts to work then I get the error message "Synchronization Cancelled". Then I tried to synchronize using Ovi Office Suite but nothing seems to get transfered or changed.I am using the USB cable and Windows Vista anyone know how to reslove this

    You were lucky then..I've tried the following and nothing works:
    - Reinstall after full removal of Nokia Photos
    - Hard reset phone with no backup restored
    - Hard reset phone with an old backup restored
    - Reinstall of latest firmware with no backup restored
    - Reinstall of latest firmware with an old backup restored
    I've also tried this on an XP PC and Vista PC, both work intermittently for a while then nothing, I've also tried multiple N97's and they are the same.
    I've decided, primarily due to the lack of support from Nokia, that this is my last Nokia phone.  In my opinion, shoddy phone software and badly written PC software has caused no end of customer dissatisfaction and I'm not putting up with it anymore.
    Shame really, as the n97 had so much potential

  • EHS - Synchronization error when trying to generate WWI accident report

    Dear all,
    I have a problem with WWI accident reports. I have created an accident report template (from the example SOP template), released the template and assigned a generation variant to it. When I try to generate the accident report from CBIH82 Edit Incident/Accident Log, and select "Report Information System" from the menu, I can see the report tree and the report. When I click the report (paper and glass) icon, I see the "Maintain Object Keys" box. The "Person affect..." field is blank; though the input help icon is present, on clicking it, I get the message "No input help available". On clicking OK, I get the error message "Synchronization Failure. Please try to call WWI again."
    If anyone knows about this error, could you please enlighten me how to get out of it.
    I do not have a problem with the reports linked to specifications, like the MSDS. They are displayed correctly on clicking the report in the report tree.
    Thank you and Regards,
    Mohan.

    Hello Mohan,
    I am also getting this error with the WWI gen server when I try to see any report in CVD1 transaction.
    Though when I switched the WWI server from 'Service' to 'Console', the problem was solved. I am still working on it to get it working when I run the Gen server as 'Windows service' and not 'Console'. Let me know If you find any lead here.
    Thanks,

  • Message Status of Sent Messages Is Opened

    I have a an intermittent problem when I send messages.  Occasionally when I send a message from Outlook, the sent message synchronizes with my BB with a Message Status of "Openened".  The majority of the time, when I send a message from Outlook, it synchronizes with my BB with a Message Status of "Sent".  This seems to happen a lot when I am working in Offline mode in Outlook and then connect at a later time.
    The message status of "Sent" causes a problem becuase all of those messages show up in my Inbox and are not hidden.  It is like the old days again!
    Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this or how to change the message status of an "Opened" message to "Sent"?

    Unfortunately no.  No responses to my post and I haven't figured any way to avoid it yet.  I just set up a separate folder to file them in whenever it happens.

  • Synchronization completed with 13 errors.

    Hi All,
    This is my first time I have setup WebTools and I seem to be having some issues. I have been through the e-learning and all documents I could get my hands on but still am having issues.
    I run the syncronisation in the sync manager and it completes with the message "Synchronization completed with 13 errors." I think these errors are minor and only effect the opportunities object. However, when accessing the website administration section, I cannot seem to access any of the information that should be syncronising from the database. I cannot browse any customer information / sales order details or anything else. I am pretty sure it is something simple I have missed but I am a bit lost.
    I am currently just running the software in a demo environment and connecting to SBODemoUK database. Any help would be greatly appreciated, maybe a checklist of things to make sure I have not left out?
    Regards
    Gareth

    Hi Bryce,
    The errors are as follows:
    "SBOOpportunity - SBO ContactPerson (OCPR) 16 does not correspond to a NetPoint Users.UserID.
       at NetPoint.SynchSBO.SBOObjects.SBOOpportunity.SBOToNetPoint(SBOQueueObject qData)
       at NetPoint.SynchSBO.SynchObjectBase.Synch()"
    At this stage I am not too concerned if I cannot view my opportunities via the web, I am more concerned that I cannot view any of my information via the web. The information seems to synch because the records are in the Web database. How should I browse to view these records? When I try to enter a sales order via the web, I cannot view any of the BP's that should be in the system.
    Regards
    Gareth

  • Synchronization Error Redemption is not installed.

    I have recently installed Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 in its 64 bit version on my computer (Windows 7 professional, Service Pack 1). When trying to synchronize my BlackBerry (Bold 9900) I am getting the following message:
    Synchronization Error Redemption is not installed.
    I am running on the BB OS 7.1 Bundle 2807; the BlackBerry Desktop Software is version is 7.1.0.14, released 07 March 2013 (Bundle 42).
    Running the 32-bit version of Office does not produce the error message.
    My provider is T-online, they called me and told me that they can’t help.

    Hi and Welcome to the Community!
    Here is a KB that discusses that error:
    KB31987 "Synchronization Error Redemption is not installed." occurs when synchronizing organizer data
    Unfortunately, it contains nothing more useful than recognition by BB that the problem exists, but no workarounds or solutions are offered. However, I do notice that it states to be applicable to earlier Desktop Software versions...
    In any event, I suggest this thread:
    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Desktop-Software-for-PC/Cleanly-quot-Starting-Over-quot-with-...
    It starts with a process for cleanly starting over, and there is some discussion, and there is also a post (15) with links to older Desktop Software versions, if those are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work...but it has worked for many to resolve issues they are having.

  • Synchronization Error FF2B2649

    I have a Curve 8320 running on software v4.5.0.81.  It has always synchronized flawlessly with my HP EliteBook 8530p.  But today I get this message:  "Synchronization Error!  Record with specified Id (FF2B2649) not found."
    Help!  How do I fix this?  I need my laptop and phone to work together and right now, that sure is not happening!

    Hi and Welcome to the Community!
    Try changing your view, in Outlook, of your calendar to a tabular view. Then you can sort by start date and see what's going on. Sorted that way, it's likely the first or the last record that is the problem.
    Good luck!

  • Error while deleting values of characteristic /1FB/COMPANY/Company (RFC des

    Dear all,
    I am trying to synchronize Company master data between local BCS system and SAP BW with UGMD_BATCH_SYNC program. In the synchronization mode, Full Synschronization (Write and Delete) was selected.
    However, I receive the following error message when executing the program:
    Error while deleting values of characteristic /1FB/COMPANY/Company (RFC destination )
    Message no. UGMD077
    Diagnosis
    When writing or deleting values of characteristic /1FB/COMPANY/Company errors occurred in the system with RFC destination . As the changes have already been defined in the local storage location this results in the master data being asynchronous between the local and remote storage location.
    System Response
    Processing is continued.
    Procedure
    Carry out a manual synchronization of the master data later using report UGMD_BATCH_SYNC. You can find additional information there under Application Help.
    FYI, RFC Destination for my data basis is left blank.
    What may causes this error and how to resolve it?
    Thank you.

    Hi MontyBurns,
    May I know what settings that I need to check in UGMDSYNC program? As far as I can tell, there is only one parameter that we need to specify in the program i.e. Field Name. As I am trying to synchronize from BCS to BW, I have chosen the followings settings:
    Source = LOCAL
    Target = ALLBW
    All,
    Interesting thing that I notice after executing the UGMDSYNC program is the following message:
    Synchronize/Display Variances Between Systems
         The compound dependencies for the attributes or texts are not defined
         uniformly in the systems investigated.
         Example:
         Texts are defined as language-specific in the local systems and as
         language-independent in remote systems (for example BW systems). The
         same can apply for other compounds such as version or time dependencies.
    System Response
         The display of differences between the systems will be affected. A
         manual synchronization will not be completely successful.
    Procedure
         1.  Ensure that the dependencies for the attributes and texts are the
             same in all systems.
         2.  Start the synchronization process again.
    Procedure for System Administration
    I can check the attributes and texts in BW via RSD1 by specifying InfoObject = 0COMPANY and checking the Master data/texts and Attribute tabs. But how do I check similar settings in BCS Workbench? I can't determine whether the Company text is language-dependent or not simply by displaying specific Company from Process View > Master Data > Consolidation Units > Company.
    Thanks.
