Meta information displaying after generating output

Hello there,
My project files have many, many lines of meta data between
<head> and </head>. Certain documents are displaying
meta code ONLY after generating output and when viewed in Explorer.
I don't see the meta data showing when I view the doc files in
Design View or Preview mode.
The stray meta text that shows on both docs is the following:
Maintenance Menu>Setup Functions tab>Point">
I believe it is one of these lines of meta data:

For Future Reference:
There were some errors in my meta data. The problem-causing
meta text had html code for quotes instead of the symbol, ". This
seemed to have a snowball effect causing other lines of meta data
to become visible in a browser.
EXAMPLE OF INCORRECT META DATA:
<meta NAME=MS-HKWD CONTENT=""Purchase Orders&quot">
CORRECTED:
<meta NAME=MS-HKWD CONTENT=""Purchase Orders">
When I corrected it, and put the quote symbol in place of the
the quote tag, the meta data no longer shows in a browser.

Newly added pdfs will not display after generating primarly layout

RoboHelp X5. I'm replacing pdf files for a Help project
that's been in place for over a year. From the user's perspective
the files are accessed via a link when accessing Help. I removed
the link (a link to, let's say example.pdf rev A). I recreated the
link by pointing to the new pdf (example.pdf rev B). All my pdfs
are on my local drive under C:\Program Files\RoboHelp
Office\RoboHTML\<project name>. After updating the pdfs and
subsequently deleting the old pdfs several baggage files showed the
red X. I deleted these baggage files b/c they represented the old
files. After generating the primary layout none of the re-created
links worked. Only the links I didn't touch work. The working links
are also the only files that have a representation in the baggages
file folder. I tried adding baggage files but it doesn't work. My
PC is WXP SP2 w/Office 2007. I uninstalled RoboHelp (I didn't touch
the registries). Reloaded RoboHelp and noticed that Office 2007
wasn't listed. So I went to another PC that's never had RoboHelp
and runs WXP SP2 w/Office 2000. The installation went fine however
the same problem occurs. Also on either PC I can run the unused
files report which lists all the files I need (the ones I just
added). But I don't know how to make an unused file, used.

thanks. I actually followed those same steps yesterday (for
adding a baggage file). I was able to get the file to appear in the
baggage folder but after compiling, when I click on the link,
nothing happens. Whereas before I'd get the "cannot display
webpage" error.

RH11: Glossary and Index do not display in generated output

I am having such a tough time with RoboHelp. My current issue is the glossary and index not appearing in the generated output. They used to. However, yesterday I thought I should go in and clean out all the junk in my project, i.e. I had about 5 glossaries and 5 indexes because I was testing things out. I made sure I didn't delete the populated glossary and index, but by the end of the day, they were both gone. So, I located these again from a backup and imported them back into my current project. Everything is there...all my terms and definitions, the index and the links...blah blah. NOTE: Everything is there, but I was required to block it out due to privacy issues.
However, this is how it now displays when I generate: Why won't this populate?

I'm using IE 10, Version 10. And everything was working fine until I started deleting the extra glossaries and indexes I had in my project. I have been generating locally, then when I get to a point where I'm satisfied with my changes, I generate to the server. I wasn't having a problem with this until I deleted those files. Although I have imported the glossary and index back into the project, still nothing. Now, even if I pull up an older version of this same project, the glossary and index are now gone from that too. I'm assuming that everything must be linked, but I can't figure out what I'm missing. Generating to Chrome has the same issues. I had one of my developers look at it yesterday, and he thinks there is some file missing somewhere that RH11 needs to generate the glossary and index. What file would I be missing? The .glo and the HHK files are in the project. I really need to upload this for the client, so any help you can give me is much appreciated.
I read on one of the forums that I should have this ticked in the Optimization Settings for Responsive HTML: "Limit the scope of project styles only to topic contents". I did that and it caused all kinds of other issues.
On Monday I updated to RH 11.0.1 - would there be an issue with that? Is it a dll issue?

Palm Missing Localization Information Display after Mac OS 10.4.6 Update

Recently I installed the Mac OS 10.4.6 update after confirming that it should improve some minor issues with "Hot Synching".
Previously I could "Hot Synch" with my Palm Mac Desk Top software 4.2.1 and also with my PC with no issues. My Palm is using Palm OS 4.5, I believe.
Now I can still can "Hot Sync" on my Mac--with no issues. However, when I take the Palm out of the USB Cradle and try to access the Palm Display page with the featured icons, I get a very unusual error:
"Application can not be launched because it is missing localization info file xxx--enUS.prc."
I checked the Palm site and entered the error message and the response was returned that indicated "several applications with the Palm Tungsten T require overlay files to run properly. "Dialer, SMS, & WAP Browser" require and overlay "prc" file that determines which language the application displays on the device. If this "prc" file is missing, it will cause this message to be displayed."
I was instructed to install the "xxx_enUS.prc" using the Palm Install tool.
I installed all of the "xxx_enUS.prc" files on Disk 2 and have performed a "Hot Sync" again. A successful "Hot Synch" was performed.
The above message is still displayed on the Palm screen even after that successful "Hot Synch".
I can not use any of the screen icons to select any of the features or vprograms on the Palm.
The face buttons can be depressed but the selection from the Palm hand held icons with the stylus can not be accessed as the "missing localization info, ect" is displayed.
I have performed soft resets to no avail.
I still can not get this issues resolved.
Recently I instlled iSynch and the problems still occur.
Anyone out there have any suggestions.

When I do Command-I, I see that I have read/write access for the local drive - depending on the machine I am sitting at - and the other networkeded drives allow read only.
I guess the question is - how does the system know a user with the same username and password are actually the same person?

HTML doesn't display after generating the HTML files.

There don't seem to be any errors during the generation of the HTML help project, but when I view the results, the content doesn't display and the window displays the following:

This sounds like you are running the file on a networked drive. Read this link.http://www.grainge.org/pages/authoring/chm_mspatch/896358.htm. If not, can you post an image of what you are seeing.

Can you elaborate on what exactly configured and how and why? I fail to understand what exactly you did because in my company, we used the standard (up until now);that means UWL configuration file "com.sap.pct.erp.mss.tra".
And for the request-Form handling it has this action:

Display Originals for Background generated outputs

Hi,
can any one tell me how to see the display originals(It will opens a PDF file user saels later on-PDF format-Archiving configuration done) for the background generated output.
there is no problem with manully entered outputs, problem with background generated outputs.(giving HTTP 404 not found error) in EFT(electronic Funds transfer) issue
CMS destination is working fine.
Select output type in bussiness document>Further Data>Edit-->display originals.
we can see if archive configuration done for any output type

Making debug information display - more questions

Hi all - I work on a remote CF server and need debugging information displayed at all times. Unfortunately, I lost my dedicated IP address which could be plugged into the server, which gave me the privilege of seeing the information i need.
Earlier this week, I left a message on this forum related to this issue and was told to use <CFSetting ... to resolve the issue.
I've tried it and have not been able to see server variables and other debug information information.
Will this tag override the server variable "Enable Debugging" if that is set to "no"? (I suspect not, but no hurt in asking.)
Also, is there some way or some service that can take my new dynamic IP and resolve it to a static IP number? Right now, I use dynDns.com to resolve the issue, but this results in a domain name, and not a domain IP, which can be used in CF MX Administrator.
Note that this is how I have the tag setup.

Do I understand how this tag is supposed to work? I want to see all server information on every page. Does CFSetting only work when there is an error? Arrrrrrggggggg - I'm very needy right at the moment to resolve this issue.

As I replied in your earlier post, NO <cfsetting....> does not override the debug setting in the administrator.
If debugging is turned off in the administrator, ColdFusion does not generate ANY debugging data. This is a performance gain, and is often done on production servers.
For the <cfsetting....> tag to work. Debugging has to be turned on, AND you have to be connecting to the server with an IP that is allowed to see the debugging. If there are now IP's set in the filter, then ALL IPs can see the debugging output.
This is what many ISP's will do. They will turn on debugging and provide no IP filters so that every user will see the debugging output and leave up to the developers to use the <cfsetting....> tag to display or not display the output as desired.
To answer your second question. DNS is not going to help you. You need to provide an IP address, DNS is for providing an Domain Name to substitue for an IP address.
The only idea I could have, is if you could find a proxy service that would give you another IP address and then proxy that address to yours. But that sounds like a rather flaky option to me.

Prevent generating output

I have an invoice batch process that is run for a range of invoices, but I want to prevent the invoice from being displayed if the invoice amount = 0.
Currently I am using <?if:INVOICE_AMOUNT!=0 or INVOICE_AMOUNT!=''?> at the top of the page followed by <?start:body?> after the header and <?for-each@section:G_PROJECT_HDR?> to separate the invoices for each project. When I run the process, the invoices with an amount of 0 or null are generating a blank page. I want it to skip the 0 invoices and only generate output for those that have an amount.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried adding the 'for-each' clause at the top of the template, but it is still generating a blank page for the 0 dollar invoices, or where INVOICE_AMOUNT doesn't exist.
I used <?for-each:G_PROJECT_HDR[INVOICE_AMOUNT!=0 or not(INVOICE_AMOUNT)]?> but that caused it to not display the data on the page.

Access DC Meta Information at Runtime (SAP AS CE 7.1)

Hello,
is it possible (e.g. for a session bean) to access its DC meta information at runtime? I.e. does the AS provide a means to query information like which dependencies my ear DC has? The only way I'm currently seeing is to manually parse the generated SAP_MANIFEST file.
Something like Eclipse provides for its plug-ins. Some kind of DC registry.

Not able to generate output in CSV(EXCEL) format

XML Publisher report is giving me an error when the Preview Format is 'EXCEL'. When I keep the Preview Format as 'PDF', the concurrent program is running successfully and the PDF output is getting generated. But for EXCEL outputs, I am getting the following error :

Unable to generate output. No data found in PRM

Hi all,
I am not able to see CPU Utilization and overall CPU Utilization report in PRM eventhough I have loaded Kernel reader (simple) module. System is running over 48 hours. There should be data for these reports.
But it keep prompting me following error message:

Help reqd to display the form output without print preview

Hi all,
I did one gate pass form and i want to view the form in my selection screen or output screen(just in monitor) as a display by giving one t-code.
i.e, we can view the form thru Print preview...the same preview, i want to display after i give my parameter in the selection screen.
For example.ZGPOUT if i enter as a t-code.
it should ask my Gate Pass number in the Selection screen...if its right then my Form will come out to the display screen. (instead of going by Print method).,
Pls post ur comment and reply me with examples,if possible.

Simply put a parameter statement .
for example.
parameters : vbeln type vbrk-vbeln .
when u ll execute.U ll get the selection screen asking u for the perticular parameter,U input that and execute.U ll get the output as print preview.In the above query i ll input vbeln and ll get the o/p.Similarly u enter Ur getpass no and u ll get the printpreiview as o/p.

Input file should be deleted only after the output file is successful.

Could you pleas solve the below issue.
In a file to file scenario, the input file will be picked from a directory location and after processing output file will be placed in the output directory location specified in the receiver communication channel.
In the sender communication channel for the scenario mentioned above, if the processing mode is given as delete, the input file will be delete as soon as the file was successfully read by the adapter, but this will not ensure that the file processing is complete and the output file is being created.
If we have a scenario in such as way that the input file should be deleted from the input folder only if the complete process is successful and the output is generated. how can we achieve this functionality?.
And one more thing if we got the successful output the output file should be placed in one folder. and the if the output file is having errors it should be placed in other folder.

In Receiver communication channel I have used the below command in Run Operating System
.And I have kept the processing mode of sender communication channel as test.
cmd.exe: /C "del /Leela/test.xml"
You are running the comman line program configured in the receiver File Adapter,but in command line you mentioned the Sender File Folder , So i guess it's not getting processed.
Try this:
Try to run the command line in the Sender File Adapter Side
"Place this in " --> Run OS Command After Message Processing.
Hope this would work and get in parrallel with u r requirement.

Problem in displaying Alv grid output using oops........

hi,
i have two problems in displaying ALV grid output Using Oops.
1) How to modify the fieldcatalog after we getting a field catalog using general FM.
2) initialy it is displaying 13 fields but there are 63 fields .
eventhough we chage the layout to 63 fields it is displaying only 13 fields , these 13 fields may be different based on our selection but count of displayed fileds are same . how can display 63 fields at a time .

You can chnage using below code:
loop at gt_fieldcat.
if <gt_fieldcat-field_name> = 'FIELDNAME'.
endif.
modify gt_fieldcat.
clear gt_fieldcat.
endloop.
Make sure that all the field should not have no_out = 'X' and tech = 'X'.
