Mismatch between ordered item and delivered item

Hi,
I am here as i got horrible experience with HP.
I orderd a desktop march 20th which was delivered may 6th.... far beyond the announced 14days.
When i received the box, i was not allowed to open the box to check the items. Once delivery team gone, i open the box, switched on the desktop and it was fine until i realized that 2 video ports were missing, including the VGA. Only the HDMI was present.
Fortunately i got a pdf print of the specifications, but the support despite of pictures and the pdf denies that two video ports were supposed to be delivered. It is implied i am lying to HP as the CURRENT description of the desktop mentions only one video port. who to believe? obviously not the customer.
What kind of services is it?

  • Mismatching between Order quantity and Delivered quantity

    Dear All,
SO is created with quantity 20, in MMBE stock is enough (22) but while doing delivery only 12 quntity is being confirmed. Cant able to delivered 20 quantity against this material, plant n sloc. I've checked in MD04 against the SO, it is fine with my order Q (20).  In schedule line, order Q is 20 but confirm Q is 12 shown.
Please do let me know what is the issue of this mismatching.
    Thanks,
    Swapnil

    Hi Swapneal,
If stock is enough in MMBE then also check, the stock is in unrestricted stock or not?
If it is ok then go to order VA02 --> Double click at your item --> Go to schedule lines tab page --> click at Edit (Menu) --> Click at "Item availabilty"
See the system is not confirm full quantity or not?
If not then put your order in V_RA and see the status.
    Hope it helps,

Hi It looks that the field status of the Order Type and GL Account field status is being mistmatching with each other. You can check the field status group given on GL Account and the fields status in Order Type.

  • Service Item and Delivered Item created by a kit (Lumf)

Is there a way to get a Delivered item - TAN and a Service Item TAD on one Order by entering a Kit Item LUMF
It creates the parent item as a TAP and both components as TAN.  I have the second component flagged as N non-stock in the BOM.
    Thanks
    Mark

It is not possible to get Service Item w/o delivery in to Invoice along with the the delivery item..unless the Service item is configured as item relevant to delivery.

  • Difference between booked items and requested items

    Hi Gurus,
I wanted to understand the difference between
Booking History - booked items – booked date
Booking History – requested items –booked date
The Series definition has the same definition given in the hint. I checked one of the below links for the same topic but couldn't get a full view.
Which series go to Actual_quantity in Standrad collections
Can any one let me know what the difference between booked items and requested items is? As I understand in OM, we have no differentiation. Do let me know
    Thanks
    DNP

    Hi
In normal circumstances, there is no difference between requested item vs. booked item. But if you're using Item Substitution, these could be different. For example, a customer may call to request item A but for multiple reasons it may be substituted by a different item (usually an upgrade with similar form, function etc).
Oracle APS supports this functionality out of box in order promising and ASCP where it can be done based on a pre-defined relationship based on availability etc.
Hope this answers your question, please feel free to let me know if I may help calrify further

We want to know this as we want to check feasibility of changing sales order and item no to maintenance contract no and line item no. ( Maintenance contract we have to pick from notification)
If anybody has any idea about this do let me know as this is urgent requirment.
    Effort will be rewarded.

    Hi Satish,
You mean Accounting assignment tab-->In Settlement rule details
If yes the order number which is coming in that field Sales order and for which sale order you are looking that details both are the same numbers(i.e Nothing but sales order number).
When you create sales order system will give number of the sales order the number will come in this place.
I hope it will help you,
    Regards,

  • MIGO-sales order number and line item not validated for 501E mvt in MIGO.

    Hi All,
In MIGO i am trying to post for 501E(specisl stock=order on hand) movement type, here i am entering the material and in the where TAb even if I enter wrong sales order number or wrong sales order line item number. the system allows to post .
its not validating the material against the sales order number and line item number that is entered to check whether that material really exists in that particular sales order or not.
is there a way to fix this?
    Thanks
    Mahendra

    hi
i dont think vvalidation is possibel
as the system dont know whaich material is assigned to which SO
as we r takeing the stock without PO
if u want to validate then system can validate the quantity that is also with use of some user exit
correct me if i am wrong

Differentiate between Items and Customer Items
pls try to give information about this

    Hi Joel,
Funny you mentioned it, because just today I was thinking about that, and I thought that if it will happen, I will rant you on your forum dereliction of duties. So it seems you’re off the hook now :)
Anyway, judging from the last 3.0/3.0.1 versions it seems like you are doing your other duties very well so I really don’t mind you keeping the lead.

  • SRM Local Purchase Order with both a standard line item and limit item...

In SRM is it standard that you can create a local purchase order from the sourcing cockpit that contains a mix of limit items and standard items?
I know this can be done in R/3.

    Paul,
I am a functional/business person, and we are running SRM550 in extended classic, linking to ERP backed.
From our business point of view it makes little sense to mix a limit item with one or more standard catalog item. SAP standard SRM 550 actually stops our users from doing this.
For those who are not aware of the differences I will elaborate.
A standard item is either from a Free Text entry process with the process being completed by a professional purchaser or a catalog item either internal to SRM, or maybe from an external website.
Limit orders are value based and are mostly used for the payment of Utility bills, or for services. We don't use services at all.
In our business we use limit orders for an Electricity Bill for example.
When the user confirms a limit order the quantity should always be 1 and the user enters the value of the item.
The Invoice entry team then needs to match the Invoice to the GR line.  It's at this point that if you have Limit items and standard items mixed our invoice entry team could run into problems.
We are aware that it is not recommended practice for Limit orders to have GR and if you can avoid this step then you should.  Unfortunately our operating model insist on everything being confirmed and in the case of limit orders this can cause us invoice blocking issues.
Limit orders are normally set up to run for a full FY so the addition of standard catalog items to a limit order makes little or no business sense.
If a user added two limit items to a shopping cart for the same supplier our system would produce two PO's for the supplier to use.
We actually avoid transmitting Limit order details to our suppliers as this would indicate the maxiumum value they could invoice us for, businesses just don't do that.  We just send them the PO number and description of the item. This provides them with a PO Ref number to puton their invoices.
As we are still running SRM 550 maybe someone with SRM 7 knowledge would care to expand on this analysis?
    Hope this helps?
    Allen
PS We don't use the Sourcing Cockpit, just read your earlier response

  • Pick list date must be between order date and cancellation date

    Hi all
    A client gets this error:
Pick list date must be between order date and cancellation date Message[173-89]
The date is between that range.
What else could be the reason for it.
    Thanks

    Hi
Since the message you received is very user friendly - date must be between....
I guess you have two situation
    1.Either operation is incorrect
    - Create a similar scenario in  your test environment
    -Are you receiving same error
-Test with only one item so far
    -Check what is the result
2 . You probably need to upgrade your patch level
It might be coming from Application error
    Hope this helpls

  • Difference between ordered by and sorted by?

    hi,
Can any1 tell me wats the actual difference between ordered by and sorted by???

Generally speaking, when talking math, one talks about an "ordering" in some set of values. Usually one doesn't actually place them in order; the order is already there, implicit in the values. When talking computer science, one talks about "sorting" because the values may be in a sequence which violates the desired order, and you have to sort the sequence to match the order. "Sorting" isn't as relevant in math because there is no sense of the items being out of sequence when the order is established.
So "order" describes the ideal (which mathematicians care about).
"Sort" describes the practical, the activity needed to make the real match the ideal (which computer sciences care about).
That's my intuitive feeling on it, anyway.

  • Unable to display the Kit Items and component Items in XML Publisher

we have created an Order with Kit Items, when we Pick Release the Order it is not printing Kit Items as it is Oracle standard functionality. We customized the Pick Slip RDF to display Kit Items.
when we run the XML Publisher version of Pick Slip report, it is displaying component Items on one page and Kit Items on another page without header information.
How can we display Kit Items and Component Items on single page instead of 2 pages?
Please give us suggestions to implement this in XML Publisher.
    Thanks&Regards,
    Suresh.

    Suresh
I dont know anything about the Pick Slip template so am unable to help without more information.
If there are enough kit items to fill more than one page then w/o reducing the font size you'll have to put up with the items spilling to a second page

  • Doubt about report FBL5N of screen field:Open items and Cleared items

    hi
i know the report FBL5N is use DDF LDB and the report work flow is BSID->BKFP->BSEG
but i don't know to differentiate Open Items and Cleared items in this report.
Open items and Cleared items stand for a field flag in these table (BSID,BKFP,BSEG )? if true the field is?
or they must be calc in program ? if true what about calc rules?
    waiting for help! thank you!

    Hi,
Here is the difference in Open Items and Cleared Items.
In FI first the document is Open (when it is posted) so the entry is made in table BSID. Once the document is cleared, it will move from BSID to BSAD. And for Cleared item you will see Clearing Document no and Clearing date values updated (these are blank when the item is open).
The only difference in Open and Cleared is via Clearing Document and Clearing Date. If the values are present, it means document is cleared.
    Hope this helps.
