Missing connection view in IDE, NullPointerException occuring

Hi there,
after starting the SQLDeveloper the Connection-View on the left side of the screen does not appear although it is activated in the options. When i try to open the database connection item in the preferences i do receive the following exception.

I can install another version of the developer but i need my old connections! How can i export them, are they stored in some xml file?

Do you have the old SQL Developer with the connections working? If so select the Connections node, right mouse click for the context menu and export the definitions. Then in the new build, use the same action to import your connections.

I am trying to implement use of transaction MM11/MM12/MM13, but I noticed that when I go to create or change material records I do not get the same mm views when I use MM01/MM02. (ex. i am missing classification view when trying to use mm11). I also do not get any of the custom fields that my company added to the material master? Any ideas where in IMG I can correct this?

if the material type of the material concerned is configured for value updating you need to have an accounting view. The system does not know what to do with the price difference from MIRO without getting a price determination parameter for material ledger from the accounting view.

actually I just found what is the problem, if I choose the Halo effect in the Title navigator (sorry if the words are not exactly it, mine is in French so I translate) I do not have the "show the polices" in the upper left corner of the viewer, but if I choose another one like a lateral effect, it appears and I can modify the polices and colors of my title. Go figure?!
I spent maybe 2 hours trying to understand that, well I think it is a glitch, but maybe just on the French version, I don't know.

It just says not connected, and as soon as it bails to menu, it connects again and will play for another minute before doing the same thing all over again.

Missing Query Views

Hi,
We are randomly missing query views in our production system across many dataproviders. This was not done manually by any user ie deleting views. Frequency of the missing views can be once in 40 - 50 days and hundreds of views get deleted from the system. We do not have any jobs performed in the background process for deletion.
In our SQL cache we noticed the class "CL_RSZ_WWW_DB_INTERFACE" with the statement "DELETE FROM RSZVIEW WHERE VIEWID = "A0 AND OBJVERS = :A1# but not able to locate where it originated from because of missing log and trace file information for the activity.
SAP at this point not able to confirm what would have caused to delete the views randomly from the system. We are still investigating and trying to find whether bookmark reorganization or deletion can cause the views to be deleted because of bugs in the system.
Is there any one in the community faced the similar kind of issues.

We have experienced the same problem and checked for any program that may have caused this.
After some investigation we have found out that by running the FM RRMX_WORKBOOKS_DELETE without the parameter for OBJECT_VERSION, ALL views in the system were deleted, even though you have specified a Workbook ID.
Please check whether you have run this program.

Hi, it sounds like you are running into a known issue with a mobile app using the spark textinput (assuming its mobile as you are referring to piping and pushing views)

Missing connection of Material in Plant to Material Ledger

Hi,
We encountered an error when doing GR for PO without Account assignment.
Error: Missing connection of Material in plant to the material ledger.
Issue: Not able to post goods receipt for materials for particular Plant D059 with HIBE material type for purchase order without account assignment.
Materials were setup before value update selected for HIBE material type for plant X and hence price determination was blank in Material master.
client was unable to create purchase requisition for these materials andfound value update was not selected for this material type for this plant.
Later when value update was selected for HIBE for Plant X, Goods receipt cannot be posted with reference to PO without account assignment. But able to do MIGO-GR for account assigned Purchase orders.
After value updating for this material type for this plant X, purchase requisitions and orders were created but unable to do goods receipt for PO without account assignment. Goods receipt can be posted
for Purchase orders with account assignment.
Now we are unable to do change price determination for material attachedto HIBE material type.
Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

Again Thanks for the immediate reply.
As I have mentioned earlier, when the stock update was done for this material type, the material was created and it didnt have any value in ML Act and Price determination.
Material ledger was activated to production.
when the client found they were not able to create PR with account assignment, then value update was selected for this material type.
Now there is a problem in Goods receipt for PO without account assignment.
Whereas there is no problem in GR for PO with account assignment.
I cannot do now CKMM also since the present price determination is a mandatory field and blank is no accepted.
Please help.

It's all about setting up what ever version of windows you have running on your pc to share the printer. If you still get stuck post in a windows forum for help.

Can not connect to BW IDES with JCo

I am trying to test out the JCo and preparing for coming project, however, the simple java program I created always gives me exception while trying to connect to IDES server
Here is the exception I got
com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)
I am 100% sure the user name and password is CORRECT, and SAP Logon to the same server works fine.
I also tested the same code (with different server configuration) on other BW system (non-IDES), which works perfectly fine.
Tried to search the forum and didn't get any clear solution.
The only matter I concerned is Java is not active on the (IDES) application server.
So does JCo supports connect to BW IDES system? Is java required to be activated on server so that JCo can connect to?

I faced similar issue few months ago and I able to resolve it. I have just changed the password to uppercase of the user and i got connected to the SAP Backend system via JCO.
Say for example if you are entering the password: root
change this to : ROOT
This thread was explining the same issue, and they resolved it.

Whenever I log into icloud.com
Using what version of which browser?
iCloud.com requires Safari 6 or later, Firefox 22 or later, or Google Chrome 28 or later. Have you tried all of those?
If you have, have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies?
For the first tine since 1989 I'm thinking about buying a PC.
You'd have exactly the same problems on an 8 year old PC too. It's a bit unreasonable to expect such an old Mac to continue to be compatible as software is constantly updated.
Saying that, I'm still able to access iCloud.com successfully in Safari v5.0.6 on a PowerPC Mac running Mac OS X 10.5.8, so the problem you're having is likely to be a browser issue, not something inherently wrong with the computer.
Since all this crap started, Mail won't download my Mac.com or me.com email.
The iCloud.com website is totally unconnected to Mail's ability to download email via IMAP. Have you checked the mail server settings are correctly setup and up-to-date?
