Missing FM radio?...

Hi... Am I the only one whose phone does not have an FM radio application? My HTC Incredible 2 had one and I've seen other phones that have them, I thought it was pretty standard to have in a phone, but now I'm realizing that the Galaxy S III is missing one and it's disappointed me in other fields too. Does anyone know how I can get the FM radio app? (Not one from the Play Store, I hate those).

FM radio is hardware not software. The phone would have to have the proper radio for FM. And no it's hardly standard.

Missing "upgrade" radio button in MOPZ

Hello.
I've created a maintenance optimizer transaction in MOPZ for a BW 3.5, with the aim of selecting the support packages to be included in the Upgrade to BI 7.0 EHP2 .
The system is registered in SMSY as SAP NETWEAVER product, Product Version SAP NETWEAVER 04, with Application Server ABAP and Business Intelligence (relevant) flagged as main instances.
When I proceed with the selection in MOPZ, I can choose the Logical component, and then I get the screen for finding download files.
However only the Maintenance radio button is available, no upgrade.
Doing the same for a 4.7 R/3 , I can see both the Maintenance and the Upgrade button.
Any idea why the upgrade button is missing for the BW 3.5?
Any sugegstion for fixing the issue?

hello there,
upgrade to Netweaver 7 EHP2 is offered as of Solution Manager 7 EHP1 SP22. If you are running any lower Support Package level, then you get no option to upgrade Netweaver systems.

Missing iTunes radio station?

I noticed today that my favorite iTunes Radio station, Dream Pop, is missing. Did they do away with some stations? My wife and I purchased a lot of songs we've heard on that station.

Ladies of the'80s disappeared for me too. I thought maybe that I accidentally deleted it, so I searched through iTunes Radio to add it back to my favorites and I could not locate. I even tried searching via Google, unfortunately when I clicked on the link, it said that the station was unavailable.
Please bring back Ladies of the'80s!

Missing iTunes Radio Custom Stations

I noticed that after rebooting my iPhone all of my custom iTunes Radio Stations where gone. I was thinking they would come back but just now after rebooting my Mac they are also gone from iTunes as well.
Clicking the + next to My Stations does nothing until I click somewhere else then it will flash a pop up window then go away.
Is something bigger going on here?

I was able to add a new My Station today. My old stations along with all me play more like this choices are still missing. I'll have to rebuild a few weeks of customizations.
Still wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

Missing UKW Radio App

Hello,
I have done a factory reset via pc companion. After that the UKW Radio App is missing. The App is listed in menue "all apps" but the size is 0 byte. Is there a possibility to download and install the app again?

As it's a system app the only thing I can think of is to either perform another factory reset or try performing a system repair as this will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone
Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process
If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

Missing iunes Radio slection for "Americana"

I just started iTunes (7.2(59)) radio and noticed that the "americana" selection disappeared! I usually use that to access "Margaritaville Radio". Just puzzeled - has this jsut diappeared?

I just went to check. It was listed but as soon as I clicked the disclosure triangle it disappeared. It looks like the category current doesn't exist.
Looking at the Margaritaville web site, it's not available in any form that can be played in iTunes. It's only available as Sirius satellite radio, Windows Media Player and Real Player.

ITunes Radio jumping through songs and not playing

What the heck is going on with iTunes raddio!!! It flashes through songs rapidally and then won't play! My regular purchased playlists work fine. It's only iTunes radio.

I'm having this problem as well. I used to listen to iTunes radio at work frequently. But the past few months or so, it simply fast scrolls through songs (on any station). I'm lucky if I get one song to play and then the scrolling starts. I do not have this problem with my WiFi at home, so I suspect it has something to do with the WiFi at work. Just wondering if anyone found any settings to change or a workaround to the issue?
I agree with sounds_good; I wish Apple would find a solution with a future iOS update as I miss iTunes radio while at work!
And I find it odd that Pandora has never been problematic like iTunes radio is...

HTC One M8 FM Radio; where is it?

Just received my new M8. all reviews say it has an FM radio App as the M7 does (one of my favorite features). The FM Radio App is listed under Settings-> App Management but there is no FM radio app in the launcher. I can find an executable named FMRadioService using a file manager (ES File Manager) but I cannot actually get an FM tuner to run. I have contacted HTC about this as well but have no answer.

I contacted VZW about the missing FM radio on the M8 and the first rep knew nothing about it. I was transferred to someone else who told me what I already knew "the fm radio feature wont work on VZW M8s". Verizon did the same thing on the M7 and IMO it boils down to profit. VZW disables the app and encourages customers to use an app. The FM radio apps all have one thing in common, they use data. Since VZW sells data it only makes sense that they would disable features that would enable them to make more $.
After dealing with this on the M7 and now the M8 I finally decided to fire off a complaint to the BBB. I know this wont really accomplish anything but it did generate a complaint case and I just got a call from some VZW rep claiming to be calling from the "executive offices" of VZW. This rep told me that Verizon tested the FM radio feature and decided that the result was poor. I called ** on that and explained that I've personally seen the FM radio being used on phones with AT&T and the experience was far from poor. It works flawlessly.
I know that the chances of VZW enabling this feature are slim to none but maybe if enough people complain they will change their policy.

Zen Micro - Radio function has disappear

I recently upgraded the Firmware on my Zen Micro 5gb. Now the radio function is missing from the menu. ?

I've also experienced exactly the same problem with my Zen Micro. I have been emailing Creative support to see if they can help finding a solution or fix in getting it back but everything they suggested don't seem to work =(

ITunes Radio quickly scrolling songs and not playing any music

On both a iPhone 4 and 4S when a station is played it just scrolls through all of the songs really fast and does not play anything. Is anyone else seeing this behavior?
iOS 7 and on work (aka not manged by me) WiFi
Am not experiencing this behavior on WiFi at home.
This leads me to believe work network has TCP ports 8000-8999 and 42000-42999 blocked.
Is anyone else seeing this behavior...or can confirm my suspecion?

Nokia E65 Issues & Questions (Streaming ETC)

Hi,
Ive had my handset since late November,
it's a second replacement as the previous one kept doing strange things on me.
My replacement phone started being ok for the first few weeks then it would just switch off if I opened or closed the slider to use it. I gathered it may of needed a Softwear update after trying that after weeks of waiting for Vodafone to verify it with Nokia I updated it 2 weeks ago, but im still having problems with it occassionally turning off when I open or shut the slide is anyone else experiencing this issue aswell as me?
I think maybe somethings loose inside like the Cable that connects the Board to the phone or something but im unsure?
what is my best option what can I do?
I have a Nokia N80IE on spare so even if I had to have it sent to repair thats no probs at all
Also I wanted to ask have any of you managed to get Digitally Imported or Sunshine Live working on the phone via Streaming? I can only get Radio 1 and I really want these other stations, I really miss Virtual Radio I just don't know why my phone refuses to install it ive tried different dates but it wont install!

GX660 laptop Bluetooth and Turbo Mode issues

Hi all,
I recently upgraded to Windows 8 64 bit and have got everything working perfectly except for my bluetooth facilities. Have tried using the latest Win 7 ones from the MSI website but no joy. They install, and it seems in Services that bluetooth is running but am unable to transfer any files to or from the laptop and it doesn't broadcast that a bluetooth signal is available when I try and pair it with my mobile phone.
The other issue I have is the facilites such as Turbo Mode don't work. When the lightup keys are pressed nothing happens. Have tried installing the System Control drivers from the MSI website for Win 7 but no joy again.
Would be grateful to any solution to these issues as I have in the meantime had to revert back to Win 7

Your notebook is not verified to be upgradeable with Win8 by MSI (http://event.msi.com/2012/windows8/index.html). Therefor MSI doesn't provide drivers or any Win 8 support for that model.
For Bluetooth it misses a Radio switch driver which is crucial for Bluetooth to work in Win8 while the rest of your problems are related to a lacking SCM version for Win8 and your notebook model.

ITunes match deleting playlists prefixed with an underscore?

I noticed this morning I was missing my "radio" playlists including the folder that contained them. The folder was named "_Ben network" and the playlists were named "_Radio NPR", "_Radio Ben", etc. After doing some checks with a previous backup, it seems to be just these playlists and curiously, if I connect to a network after restoring my iTunes library from a backup, those playlists become removed again! I have re-created these playlists in the meantime and it seems to work however I'm nervous about it deleting these playlists again. Anyone else have this issue?

Sorry to reply with no answer, but I have simular issue. I had iTunes Match turned on, but now it is off. I have music on the iPhone under Arists, Songs etc, but no playlists show up. In iTunes if I expand the iPhone the playlists are there. I am doing a cable sync which I understand you aren't, but I have no playlists either.

Need help with the 6750

My kids are too busy to help,so I'm here to ask any of you how to make these ringtones work.
I bought a bunch of ringtones but they are all in mp3 form...which my manual says that the 6750 CAN play. The only ones that will work though are the ones that the cell came with...and they are in this aac form.
All my oldest son told me to do is to convert them from mp3 to acc......what in the heck is that? lol
Could someone please tell me how to make them work? I just paid for a one year subscription for these ringtone things.
Or did I just spend a whole lot of money on nothing?
P.S I'm old...so could you tell me how to do this in oldfolkese? I don't understand teenese one bit. lol

Ya, they were going in some weird folder...I moved them all into the proper place but they still won't work. For some reason the only tones (other than the ones it came with) that will work as ring tones is anything that I record using the voice recorder....weird or what?
So then I moved them into the voice recorder's recorded files and nothing...
The only thing I can think of is to play the stereo, use the voice recorder to record a few seconds of song,and then to use that for ringtone...only problem is...the recordings are shoddy.
It plays music files with no problems...it just won't let me use anything for ring tones...no matter what the size. I tried to convert them to aac files but they still won't play.
I made sure that they were small etc. but...
I'm almost ready to throw this thing in the garbage. lol
My old Nokia was much better...had it for one month...I dropped it 4 inches onto the table and the screen wouldn't work after that...(all lines and black) it was the xpress music...5310. Miss the radio...it was free. With the 6750 you have to pay for it...ugh.
So here I sit with a one month old cell that has all the extras,and it can't be used...what a waste...should have gotten the extra warranty. Made sure to buy it with this one! lol
Called my cell provider and they said that it sounds like I got a faulty phone. Took it back to the dealer and they called my provider...she hung up and said that they told her that the phone is fine and that it could be the card. (which is opposite of what they told me).
I've brought it back several times to where I bought it and they keep turning me away. Now I have 30 minutes of talk time so...the phone is mine and I'm stuck with it.
I'm in a different time zone than Nokia, and by the time I get off of work it's too late to call them...hence I'm depending on you nice folk to help me out. I don't want to get up at 4 in the morning my time to call them...they won't understand a single word that I'm slurring...lol

ITunes on iPad different VROM iTunes on MacBook ?

When i open iTunes on my MacBook i see in the left part of the screen : library, music, movies, tv programs and radio.
On my iPad i miss the radio sign.

iTunes on the iPad is just the iTunes store - it doesn't have the radio function. If you want to use radio on the iPad then there are various radio apps available in the app store.
