Missing programs after reinstall

I use my computer for graphic design for work. The computer guys "wiped out" all the programs so that I could install my own programs registered to me. After they put in the OS, I am missing programs that came on the Mac originally, like iDVD, iPhoto, iMovieHD... How do I get those back? They tried several times to use the disk that came with the computer, but no luck.
Can anyone help?

They can use Pacifist to install only those programs from the original disc that came with the computer. I believe you use the "Open System Packages" or something similar to get the iDVD, iPhoto, etc. packages available for install.

When I was upgrading from Windows Vista to Windows 7, I had to remove some programs as the upgrade advisor mentioned.
Now I miss those programs after installing Windows 7:

Also, "FN" button doesn't work anymore (it was working on Vista), so I can't activate any feature when I press FN + (some F# buttons like F2).
So, what can I do about this?

Did you use the Windows 7 upgrade kit from Toshiba? This kit contains also an Utilities that must be used to due installation process and as mentioned in manual.
Anyway, you can get the tools on the Toshiba page now:

For the FN buttons you have to install Toshiba Value Added Package.

Registration Settings Missing- even after reinstall

iTunes keeps showing the error message of "The registration settings used by the iTunes drivers....are missing....Please reinstall iTunes." I have tried the fix for this issue in this location http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302976 but I have no upper or lower filters listed. This is driving me crazy i can't activate my new iPone. I don't have any additional Burning software. I have had Daemon tools but not any more. Please help me!

I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

HELP! - Missing programs after hard reset - N80

Hello,
N80 on orange with the usual problems. Spoke to Orange who tried to pass me off with the 'over the air' update. Still no joy..
They asked me to do a hard reset (*#7370#) which I have done but I am now missing
Office program
Catalog icon
I backed up the phone (before the reset) and also restored this but they are still missing.
Any help would be grand

No tried that one yet....the over the air thing seems a bit of fob off to me (I asked how they would do it and they said Nokia would do it as they have our imei no.s).......they are calling me back next week.....will let you guys know what the excuse is next time !

Missing programs on reinstall

I erased and reinstalled the OS with bundled software. But I noticed that appleworks and dejavue, which came loaded when I purchased the computer new, did not show up. Can I get these and install them for free, or do I have to purchase them? How do I get these?

I reinstalled the bundled software and got appleworks, but where is de'ja'vue. I kind of liked that little program. Do I have to buy it? Or is there a similar program that you could recommend?

Missing library after reinstall

I reinstalled Creative Cloud and Lightroom but when I did it is missing my previous library. Can I retrieve?

I assume you mean Catalog.
It is probably still sitting where ever it was previously stored. Reinstalling does not affect Catalogs. Use your OS to search for all files ending in .LRCAT

I reinstall Adobe photoshop elements 11 and lost some of the fonts including ITC Bradley Hand. What do I need to do to get the fonts back?

Problem in using serial number CS4 after reinstalling it

I've bought CS4 in english version in 2010 and after a software problem on my computer, MAC with OSX 10.6.8, it become impossible to use this program after reinstalling it.
The serial number written on the back of the box is unknown. Why?
After contacting ADOBE support the only solution that was proposed to me is to create a new administrator account and reinstall all the software in it. The problem is constantly existing after this action.
Are anybody always had this problem and can indicate to me what is possible to do in order to make me possibly using this software again

No, in fact the software is in trial mode and waiting for a serial number. Trial mode is the only way to install it even, with the DVD and you must enter a serial number in one of the software included in the suite to make all working.
I always installed it 2 times before after having problem since, I bought it, with my computer and without any problem.

Control Panel > Programs n Features (Win7) or Add n Remove Programs(XP) > highlight AAS, click CHANGE then REPAIR.

Thank you. I am a little bit busy at work, sorry for the delayed reply. I tried to solve the problem, but it still exists. The 3rd of the Adobe disk is damaged someway. I tried to run on my mac at home and it has a failure. So I think we have no other choice that to download the full pack of master collection. I had a discussion with the IT expert and he figured out that company does not exist any more from where they purchased the Adobe Master Collection for Mac and PC. So If you would be kind to help me, what kind of information ID or any kind of document would be needed to identify the purchaser institute (us). I don't think any of us has an account at the Adobe. I will try to figur out. I desperately need to replace Photoshop and InDesign as without them it's really harsh to teach the kids fot the graphic design.

After reinstalling Leopard on my new macBook, iPhoto is missing from the Applications. Has anyone any ideas how to solve this? I can't find the individual install for iPhoto either on the install disks.

Well, security for one. I would never, never, never use a pre-owned Mac without completely erasing and reinstalling everything from scratch. Who knows what hacks, security holes, pirated software, or other junk may have been left on it by its previous owner. We already know that the seller included a stolen copy of Leopard. System Restore Disks are particular to the model they come with. Also, it's a breach of the licence.
That's wrong. Software on a system restore disc may be transferred to a different Mac as long as the software is no longer installed on the first Mac. And while some have reported difficulty getting OS X to install on a different model, I think it's likely that the iLife apps will work.
If Maya has no system restore CDs for her iBook at all, she should contact the seller and demand them. If the seller told Maya that Leopard or any other Apple software is included, and then included no install discs, the seller defrauded Maya.
