Missing SAP Proxy

Hi All
I am trying with this tutorial https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/dotnet/pdk%20for%20.net/developer's%20Guide%20PDK%202.0%20for%20.NET/index.html
In the step "Adding the SAP Proxy" i didn't find any "SAP Connector Proxy" templates.
I have only installed PDK 2.0. Do i also have to install "SAP .net connector" to get the "SAP Connector Proxy" template??

It is must one to install SAP .Net Connector for connecting with R/3 system..only because of this installation u wil get tool bar for SAP proxy..

Steps to debug SAP proxy method from SAP sxmb_moni

HI All
I really need your help on this;
We have written some customized codes inside SAP Proxy methods; when we get inbound messages this get fired;
I need to debug one of this proxy method in Pre Production system (no written break points, no while sy-subrc = 4 syatements)
I have deregistered queues by sxmb_adm; now the message is in sxmb_moni as scheduled; from here I really appreciate your help on how to debug the fired proxy method

SAP Proxy for EHSM

Hi Everyone!
We are looking at option of using SAP Proxy in one of the workflow item for EHSM.
There are lot of technical information regarding setting up proxy but i am looking at the functional
side of using SAP Proxy for EHSM. Any idea?
Scenario: In standard EHSM, a person is assigned to a perform a task.
But in case of unplanned absence like sick or accident, someone needs to overtake his workflow item.
I am trying to find functionally if using SAP proxy would a solution or if so how?

For SAP (Proxy) --> To --> File (adapter) scenario: Don't we have to do message mapping, interface mapping steps?
also
When I try to create proxy for the interface defined in XI using sproxy in IR, by right clicking on the Outbound interface, it asks me for inputing the Package name???

It's a message created based on the generated function module in BW. This message interface was used to create the proxy. Now I am sending it to BW but then this happens...

Missing SAP Menu in Crystal Reports

Hi Experts,
I've re-installed Crystal Reports 2008 V1, but I'm now missing the SAP menu which I had before.
I've got the SAP Gui (with BW add-ons) and the integration kit is also installed since my previous installation of CR 2008 had the SAP Menu.
I've got a feeling it's something to do with the integration kit for SAP. I've tried to re-install this too, but as soon as I click setup.exe I get an error message saying "BusinessObjects Integration Kit XI 3.1 for SAP Solution Setup has failed". I also cannot remove the currently installed inetgration kit either.
Please help as I need to report off SAP BW data!

Hello,
If you had both CR and integration kit installed; than proper way would be to remove the kit first; remove CR and reinstall CR and SAP integration kit again. It sounds like now you have a mismatch of files and possible some remnants of previous installs that is messing up any new attempts to install.
If this is simply a client machine; i recommend to manually remove all Business objects folders in windows explorer as well as in the registry. (just be very careful you do ONLY remove the bobj stuff).
Do these manual steps ONLY if regular uninstall of both CR and SAP integration kit do not work.
Note that under normal circumstances to just reinstall the SAP toolbar; you should be able to run a custom install of the SAP integration kit and select only to reinstall the SAP add-on bar.

IE Refresh / Missing SAP Icons

Hi Experts,
we have a (strange) problem with IE and SAPUI5.
After Using the refresh button in IE11 all our standard icons are missing.
E.g. using ui-elements calendar, icon-tab-filter, splitapp-navigation icons ... all are missing.
Before refresh:
After refresh:
The application/navigation works, but the ICONS are gone.
-> No errors or information in debugging/console.
-> Problem only occurs with IE, Firefox & Chrome are fine.
-> Disabling caching for IE does not change anything.
We use/load the core library from the web instead from the SAP-Backend, can this be an issue?

Not sure if this will help, but hope to give some hints.
I had a similar issue before when doing "Refresh" of service call in IE, and disable IE catch did not help. What did worked was to manually add an extra parameter of a random number in the url of the service call, so IE will sure make the actuall call to the service. Try to use some network tool such as fiddler to see if there was actuall calls when doing "Refresh".
Another try is to copy the icon files into your project and check if the icons still disappear when doing "Refresh" - by this at least yo can surely see where the problem is located.

SAP PROXY determine as error SENDER.

The system id: DEV ,CLIENT: 500 LOGICAL SYSTEM: DEV500.
I have chagned logical system to DEV500N,and rechange back to DEV500.
. I CALL ABAP PROXY IN CLIENT DEV500. Now in sxi_monitor ,the message sender always DEV500N. I don't know why it is DEV500N.
by the way . how sap pi determine the abap proxy message sender.
use client logical name to find business name ?

Check in DEV500 in SXMB_ADM--->Integration Configuration if you have set the Role of Business System as "Appl Sys" and RFC Dest of XI sys.
Also make sure you have done the configuration (change the Business System from DEV500N to DEV500) accordingly in your scenario in Intergration directory.
Have done any changes in SLD w.r.t DEV500N?? If yes then also change them.

JCO 3 with the SAp proxy classes

i have been using netweaver proxy connectors for connecting to sap...however i now wish to use SAP JCo 3 to create the client...any idea how we can use these with the proxy classes ..

Crystal Report Missing SAP InfoSet, SAP BW Query Connector

Hi,
I have installed SAP GUI for Windows 7.2 (Compilation 2) and Crystal Report 2008 SP2 then following by installed SAP Integration Kits 3.1 SP3 on my workstation. However, when i launch my Crystal Report designer, it do shows SAP toolbar however when i click on one of the icon (eg: Setting) the entire CR will hung and prompt me error and exit automatically.
Beside that, i could not find any connector for SAP (Eg: SAP InfoSet, SAP BW Query and etc) when i create a new blank report by click on the New Connection.
Appreciated anyone know this could assist on this.

I have installed SAP BOXI3.1 SP3 on an LINUX machine (Redhat Enterprise 5) and the server was running fine without connecting to BW or SAP eCIBS.
Now, i have to establish the connectivity to BW (InfoCuve and BW Query) and SAP eCIBS system. As my customer requirement was required to using WEBI, CR and Xcelsius for connecting to BW for getting the data and then using scheduler in BOE for performing report distribution. Some of the report will connecting to SAP eCIBS directly and that will using our Client's machine for creating the report (using CR2008) and then publish to the BOE platform for report scheduling and distribution.
My question, i wish to install SAP Inter Kits and downloaded Inter. Kits for SAP Solution 3.1 SP3 from service market place. When i refer to the document from help.sap.com; there are couple of section but i wish to know which are the perquisite section that i wish to install and configure?
Eg: System Requirement which are installing SAP RFC SDK and SAP JCO SDK into my BOE server, then following my create a logon token. How to to that? It also require to install SAP Java Connector and SAP GUI, does these two available for LINUX OS as well?
The steps in doc was confuse, appreciated your kind help.

Missing "SAP XI Adapter engine" in CCMS Monitor

Dear all,
we try to configure PI CCMS monitor but we can't find the subtree "SAP XI Adapter engine " in Visual admin.
In detail:
the subtree "SAP XI Adapter engine "is not displayed in Visual administrato under
server->service->monitoring->Monitor tree ->Root application .
So we have set to true the value "CCMSEnabled" of seervice "SAP XI AF core" , and we have restarted the instance.
After the restart i DO NOT find the "SAP XI Adapter engine " in
SAP NetWeaver Administrator,
'System Management' -> 'Monitoring' -> 'Java System Reports' -> 'Reports'. From the dropdown list 'Report' choose 'Monitor Browser', and display all monitors
So I can't activate the monitor.
and if the subtree is not present , i can't see the MTE in "SAP XI Adapter engine " RZ20.
Additional info:
- In RZ20 I have my system under SAP J2ee Monitor template->All system
but the MTE "J2EE Applications" is grayed.
- In file application.xml under /usr/sap/ccms/XIT_10/j2ee<server0> i do not find the tag:
<app name="application sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.app">
<node>\XIT\XIT 10 Appl .... sp30t0\SAP XI Adapter Engine</node>
</app>
I think this is the correct procedure that we have done in other different landscape whithout problems.
Is there something else to check ?

Hi Sekhar,
I am using PI 7.0 instead so I have followed the instruction in (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/e5/5d1741b393f26fe10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm) instead.
The problem is, Adapter Engine is still not listed as one of the application avaialble for Monitoring in Visual Admin even though the SAP XI AF Core has definitely been set with CCMSEnabled = true.
Any further suggestions?

NWBC-Missing SAP Internals

Hi all,

it says that the PFCG will contain 3 important tabs with respect to NWBC. They are Description,SAP Internals and Menu. But I cannot see SAP Internals tab in PFCG. Could you please tell me how to have this appear?
2. In SAP Internals they say we need to maintain Role maintenance Attributes like (NWBC.RootRole=true|false and NWBC.Cockpit=cockpit). What is it and what additional features will that provide to user with respect to authorization?
3. What is a cokpit?

Finding process steps from BPR - some process steps missing SAP tcodes

In Solution Manager 4.0, we are currently focusing on the documentation part and our teams have defined their respective hierarchies, scenarios, processes, and process steps.
When looking at our process steps, we are trying to download it from the BPR but it seems such an uphill battle to find the right process step in there and if you think you have it there are no transactions behind it.
My questions are:
1. Is there any way I can find a process in the BPR by transaction code so it will show processes by transaction code?
2. Any tips of finding the right process in the BPR?
3. If we are to manually add the process steps and the transactions by process step, what do we lose? In the structure tab of the business process, the source and original name will not be populated but looking at the transaction tab of the process step, after manually added, it looks fine. Will this at all influence getting the customization (configuration) items in SolMan?

The best way to find the process step in sol Man BPR is:
Let us consider one scenario:
You want to find business process step "Run MRP" from BPR. If you want to execute this process step, the relevant t.code is MD01. ( Let us assume You know this t.code already by memory).
Now enter this t.code in Sol Man, at business process step level. If you enter this t.code, automatically, the system will give you the "Description of the t.code (as a text)". This text is automatically fetched from BPR content. Copy this text & search in BPR.
Now , the system will properly highlight the t.code (MD01) from BPR. Now select the process from BPR.
