Missing Send Button on Reply eMail

This just began happening but when I read an email and then hit the reply button .. when the reply email opens the "send" button is missing ... I'm forced to save the reply email as a draft and then open the draft in a new window to get the "send" button function .... How do I correct this?

thank you for the info .... it wasn't exactly right for my problem but it sent me in the right direction and i finally figured it out .... i needed to have a 'reply' email open, then from the menu bar for the program, under 'view' i changed the action to 'show toolbar' ..... i don't know what happened to 'hide' the toolbar but somehow i apparently did that .... again, thanks for sending me in the correct direction!!!!

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
What, precisely, is the error message?
What device model do you have?
What device OS level do you have (all 4 octets)?
    What carrier are you with?
How, exactly, did you configure these email accounts?

  • Why doesn't Adobe send me a reply email?

Why doesn't Adobe send me a reply email when I'm trying to sign up?

What are you trying to accomplish?  What is the type of e-mail you are expecting to receive?

  • Why do I all of a sudden have no send button on any email I compose?

When I write a new email, I all of a sudden have no send button on said email; the only way I can send is by clicking on file and then send now. Yes, I have an addressee. This is the case for all emails from all providers including google and our business email @mcselections.com.
Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

I do not know what you mean by the main menu bar of the compose window. I have a mac, so maybe the layout is different. i usually am in my inbox-there is no compose window, only a new email when i click on write. When i click on "view" on the thunderbird toolbar, and then click "toolbars", the only options i have are "mail toolbar", "status bar", "quick filter bar", all of which are checked.

  • No Send buttons when replying to messages.

    Hey Mac Users,
When I try to reply to an email and click on "reply" the window that comes up has the adress lines, subject and body, but no buttons across the top for Send, Chat, Attach, Address, etc. To actually Send, I have to close, Save as Draft, then go into Drafts folder. After I double click on the message, then Send button shows up.
Did I accidently turn off some feature?
    Feeling really dumb...
Any help would be much appreciated.
I am also digging around on this site a bit more and apologize in advance if I have posted in the wrong place.
    Thanks!

  • Mail template missing send buttton on reply

Hello everyone, I just reinstalled Tiger on my mom's 17" G4. I applied all of the latest updates. Now my mail template seems to be missing a send button but only when I reply to mail. The only way to send is to choose MESSAGE > SEND. Is there a preferences file I can delete to have it rebuild? Any other suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Neobe

From the reply window, control + click on an empty area on the toolbar and choose customize. From there you should be able to add the "Send" button to the toolbar.

  • Why is my send button disabled when emailing through contacts?

I currently have an iPhone6, and when I go through my contacts list and select a contact to send an email to, the "send" button is disabled (gray). I prefer this method of contacting clients.
That being said, when I go through the actual mail application, it works just fine.
    Thoughts?

That's a bug. The "To" address appears filled in but Mail doesn't think it is there So it won't activate the Send button.

  • No Send Button on Reply!

I have Mail 3.5 (930.3) and it works great!
but: the Send button is gone when I choose reply. It's just not on the screen.
I have to forward the message now when I want to reply.
I looked everywhere I can to see if it is a configuration item. No Luck.
I upgraded to the latest OS update. Loaded the new iLife 09.
    Any suggestions?

    wross10,
    Welcome to Apple Discussions.
Open a new "Reply" message and right click on the toolbar to reveal a "Customize Toolbar... choice. That will allow you to add the "Send" icon. Drag the "Send" icon to the toolbar.
The "Send" icon should remain on subsequent "Reply" messages.

  • Missing send button on SMS screen

using Windows XP. recent upgrade of Skype to latest version.  the blue send button which used to be in the message pane when sending an SMS has now disappeared.  without it, I do not appear to be able to send an SMS.  The only icon on the message pane is the smiley face which I do not need.
Have plenty of credit so that is not the problem.
I am not a new user.  help would be appreciate to rectify.

(This thread is a bit old, but I just encountered the problem that there was no "send" button after I was forced to upgrade from Skype v4 to v6 (windows) when they disabled v4 on me without warning ... )
Solution: The Call/message window was too narrow, probably because it inherited its width setting from v4, and "send" did not show. Widening the window brought "send" into view.
Very badly designed user interface! If features are cut off due to window width, there should be wrap-around or scroll-bar, or some other indication.
Also, the SMS character-counter is not there in v6, probably to reduce no of users who edit their SMSes to fit them into fewer 180-char chunks so that M$ make more $$$

  • Missing send button on iPad

For months this bug is on my iPad 2. I waited for updates for months, many came but none solved it for me.
It only appears when my iPad is in portrait and when the keyboard is on screen. If I, say, type on landscape the send just won't appear no matter what.
The iPad Skype app needs to get the same appearance as the iPhone app, it's so..dated. Besides having these bugs, as stated. It irks me that such a easily noticeable bug hasn't YET been fixed.

  • Send button on email messages missing

    HELP.
The send button on my email messages is missing when I try to create a new email. In order to email I now click on reply, erase the sender and add in the person I am trying to send a note to, and have to erase whatever the "donor email" message was.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Hello firemedic015,
In the compose message window, Control Click on the buttons bar, see if you can get the "Send" button back...

  • Email Button for Reply(Getting sender email address)

    Here is my scenario...
User fill a form and then send it via an email button.
Is it possible the receptian of the form to reply click on an email button to the sender?
The Reply email button will get(with a script) always the value(Email address of the Sender).
    We are using Outlook.
    Thanks very much

    Hi,
To be honest, I think that a visible field for the user to input their email address is going to be the best way.
Acrobat has a property called 'identity' in the Edit > Preferences menu, which contains user information, including email address. However this information only exists if the user has manually typed this into the preferences.
You can access the identify properties using a trusted function, however this can be troublesome, because you need to distribute and install the javascript file into a specific folder on ALL of your user's computers.
In addition if the user has not specified their email address in the preferences, you cannot get this data.
Lastly, there appears to be an issue if the form is Reader Enabled in Acrobat. There is a discussion here: Keep user from printing and seeing certain pages
All in all the trusted function is flaky and liable to failure. Outside of databases or some back end system, I can't see an easy to automatically harvest a users email address.
    Good luck,
    Niall

  • "Send" button in email wont work.  Cant send messages

All of the sudden neither one of our emails can send out a message. I can receive and compose or save the message as a draft but the actual "send" button in the email program wont work. Has anyone run into this before? I am running OSX 10.6 and running the standard mail program that came with the mac.

I dont know if I have the same problem. But when I open Mail, I can send, receive and basically everything when I first open the app.
But as soon as I compose a message and Mail auto-saves the draft, I can't send/receive. I have to quit the app and send it when it re-opens. Or try several times to send it by re-opening it from the Outbox.
